Lovely hotel, rooms very nice and clean, beds really comfortable, friendly staff and facilities including swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi really relaxing

Pool was supposed to be heated but it was cold. The jacuzzi was also cooler than expected. Female changing room toilets were flooded

Excellent. From the moment or arrival to the departure love that bedroom had opening windows so could have fresh air too love the products shower is great too

Great stay! Decent room size with coffee and tea facilities. The bed was very comfortable. Food was amazing and delivered to the room. Swimming pool and spa area was fantastic! Also a big thank you to reception staff! Felt very welcomed. Will be back for sure! ☺️

Outrageous behaviour by the hotel reception staff! We requested a slightly later checkout which was denied so we offer to pay for another night! The staff the demanded that we leave our room and go down to reception to pay immediately which we agreed to do! At 10.59 a very loud and pierced alarm was set off in our room! This is nothing short of abuse! I’ll be writing a longer review and making a full complaint to the hotel manager as the totally ruined the calm of our stay! This hotel has no concept whatsoever of how to behave towards its guests!

NO REAL PROBLEMS WITH THE STAY. SUBSEQUENTLY ONE OF MY GRANDAUGHTERS ADVISED SHE HAD LEFT BEHIND IN ROOM 321 A BRACELET, EARINGS AND A RAZOR. I CALLED TWICE TO REPORT THIS AND ON BOTH OCCASIONS WAS ASSURED THEY WOULD CHECK WITH HOUSEKEEPING AND GET BACK TO ME. I’M STILL WAITING!

Pool area looks very tired and there were random objects just laying around. There was a razor by the jacuzzi which is dangerous and disgusting if someone’s was shaving in the area.

I arrived with a confirmed Booking.com prepaid reservation, but the hotel refused to check me in. A receptionist made an allegation without providing any evidence, witness statement, or documentation. No incident report was shown, no details were explained, and no verification was offered at any stage. The manager stated I would only be allowed to check in if I apologised, despite there being no factual basis for the claim. When I declined to apologise for an unsubstantiated allegation, my stay was cancelled on the spot. This raised serious concerns regarding IHG’s duty of care obligations and basic operational standards. A hotel should not refuse service without clear evidence, proper documentation, or a formal incident report. None of these were provided. The lack of process, lack of transparency, and absence of any documented justification is deeply concerning from a guest rights and safety perspective. Additionally, although I was told the refund would be issued immediately, it was not processed until a week later, causing further inconvenience. The handling of the incident fell significantly below the standards expected of an IHG branded property.

Friendly staff, good location for traveling to Harry Potter studios. Beds comfortable. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast good. Bit pricey for room. Didn’t like having to give £50 security deposit for each night on hold from my bank incase anything was damaged. It was £100 gone from my account that I hadn’t allowed for as it wasn’t mentioned until I was checking in.

The staff was exceptional. Friendly, accommodating and helpful. I had dietary requirements so Tatiana and Viola looked after me well, a special thanks to them. Ravinder at the front desk was helpful and friendly and gave us an upgrade. Thank you Crowne Plaza, we'll be back!

Asked for a quiet room and got put in a room with a bank of air conditioning units right outside the window. Got charged extra for twin beds when that was what I requested when booking. Staff member on arrival was not friendly.

The room was excellent and the food good. The breakfast had a great selection. The staff were very knowledgeable and attentive The whole stay was a pleasure For once the beds were comfortable Like there green policy

The evening meal selection could have been bigger. The carpets were a little sad in places but it’s expensive and difficult in a constantly used hotel I’m sure they will get round to it.

Both our suite and the spa facilities were above average and well maintained. The general layout of the hotel as easy to navigate and everything was in walking distance.

The room carpet had not been vacuumed. Bathroom not clean. The restaurant floor and seats were not cleaned or vacuumed during our evening and breakfast stay. The menu food was not as expected, taste was bland. While standing at reception we noticed 2 other guests checking in with two dogs. We were told the hotel was pet friendly however the thought of animals sharing our room previously was a severe turnoff.

Vriendelijk personeel, rustig gelegen maar redelijk ver van Beaconsfield zodat men altijd de taxi dient te nemen . Te voet was geen optie wegens heel drukke weg zonder voetpad. Goede bedden ,koffie en thee op de kamer en mini bar waarvan de inhoud begrepen is in de prijs.

Vasttapijt op de kamer hetgeen weinig hygiënisch is.

How close it was to the wedding venue and it was pretty to look at but no different on the inside to a travel lodge

With 2 small children there wasn’t much at all for them to do. Limited to swimming the am was during breakfast and pm was just too late. There was kids activities but only in the evening nothing in the day. So when we got there and my children saw the games in the board room got so excited woke up and couldn’t play with anything until the evening. Just very little for children.

The night staff on reception and the cleaning crew throughout 4 days were kind and receptive. The sauna pool and gym seemed clean, well maintained and good value. The renovated lounge area appeared visually appealing. The room was of an ok size but underwhelming for the rating of the hotel.

The reception staff during the day were not hospitable. During check in we felt like we had interrupted their personal conversation and checking out felt equally awful. We were not even asked how our four day stay went and no tax invoice provided electronically even though requested. No introduction to the room or amenities available upon check in, all paperwork door hangings etc in the room are old and worn or entirely missing such as the room service menu. When requesting such item we were directed by the reception staff to go find it ourselves from either the bar or the cleaning staff. Continuing on service, trying to contact either the room service or reception no calls were answered after many attempts. Forced to just attend the reception in person to deal with queries. Even the simple request for a nail file could not be satisfied when this is a standard inclusion in 4 star hotel even if only supplied upon request. Truly this sounds like we are problematic needy guests but I have never had to cover the gaps in service in a hotel of this supposed calibre. There is no pride in their work, and they have lost the art of hospitality.

Staff were very helpful. We had an issue with our room and with no questions they resolved the issue there and then. Food was yummilicous! The restaurant there was really good.

Breakfast is a buffet which at 0730 had been standing for a while so had hard eggs, soggy potatoes and dried out bacon and sausages. Not untypical, but the chance to have a freshly cooked breakfast would be more appropriate to a Crown Plaza.

Het restaurant is ruim opgezet met een gezellige sfeer en de kaart is gevarieerd en ontbijt ook van zeer goede kwaliteit. De overige faciliteiten geen gebruik van gemaakt

Door de uitspraak van het personeel was het bijna onmogelijk om te begrijpen wat er werd bedoelt. Zag deze opmerking al vaker voorbij komen maar deze feedback hebben ze niet ter harte genomen

Nice enough - slow WiFi was annoying.

Staff were all very friendly but particularly Imma who was on at breakfast. She was lovely and made us feel very welcome. She helped us get the same table at breakfast which helped regulate our daughter with additional needs (may seem like a small thing but it meant the rest of our day went smoothly. Please say thank you to her from us!

Having dogs in the bar area where food is put us off from staying there again. Some people get allergic reactions from animals and also having them around food isn’t hygienic. Paying a premium where people impose their pets into areas and onto people don’t have pets for a reason isn’t right.

They had IT issues so problems with issuing keys and sometimes the queue at reception can be long andbtakes time to be seen . Also if your the new wing there is only one lift which is slow amd if busy you can wait ages for the lift to arrive. We ised the life near reception and walked across to the other wing.

Lovely all round, could be 5 star. The spa was great my only wish was that it had beds for lazing on to spend longer in there. Bedroom windows can open which is rare and the fresh air helps have a better night sleep than the average hotel. Lovely entrance, reception and bar/breakfast area. Felt luxurious.

The AC was not working on the night I stayed, making the room very uncomfortable. The bathroom was also extremely poorly designed, the toilet was squeezed between the shower and the sink, leaving almost no room to move and making it very awkward to use. To make matters worse, after reporting these issues to Booking.com, I was offered a refund of only a couple of pounds, despite paying around £140 for the night. I found that completely inadequate given the problems I experienced. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay, and I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

Visited with work for our annual conference, had a room for 2 nights, every single member of staff encountered were so friendly and polite, the hotel was immaculate, and my room was supplied with fresh towels daily and tea and coffee, I had forgotten to pack a plug for my charger and was kindly lent one from reception. The food offered throughout our stay was perfect, breakfast was a buffet style, with hot food, pastries, cereals and fresh fruit and a selection of juices, teas and coffees. The hotel is perfectly located not far from the M40. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again when in the area

Shower was ok but not incredible

My wife, two young children, and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza because we wanted a relaxing break away from work, and Ibrahim at reception played a big part in making our stay so enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, Ibrahim was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Check-in was smooth and effortless, and he immediately made us feel comfortable and looked after. Later, when we were heading to the swimming pool, Ibrahim happened to be passing by and kindly helped us get signed in and organised us with towels. It was a small gesture, but it really showed how attentive and customer-focused he is. As someone who owns three optician practices and manages a large team of staff, I know how valuable great customer service is. Ibrahim is exactly the kind of employee every business would want. In fact, if he ever wanted a job, I’d hire him in a heartbeat. He clearly enjoys what he does, and his positive attitude makes guests feel welcome, relaxed, and valued. Ibrahim is a real credit to the Crowne Plaza team, and I hope his excellent service is recognised.

Lovely food, lovely room, lovely staff

Everything was spot on, only thing I would say is the pool area could have been bigger, with space to have some sun loungers for people to chill on in between going in and out the pool/Jacuzzi etc.

Me and my wife were very surprised to be greeted by such lovley staff especially the afgan sister who checked us out was so amazing

The location and hotel facilities were brilliant, enjoyed the spa access. Overall the interior of the reception area looks lovely and the restaurant bar is designed good.

We were disappointed by the rooms.. we had 3 rooms booked. 1 room had everything stocked like towels, dressing gown etc. Another room had no towels whatsoever but had a dressing gown and another room didn't have any dressing gowns or loo rolls. It felt as though the rooms may not have been cleaned properly and rushed to prepare for the next person. We had an evening meal and ordered our drinks which took over 30 minutes to arrive at our table.

The restaurant - dinner was absolutely awful, I ordered a burger and it was cold and the meat tasted like a ham more than beef .

The staff in the restaurant really took care of my dietary needs as I’m coeliac and diary allergic too. They couldn’t have helped more and did a wonderful job.

Toilet was blocked with used toilet paper in arrival- Was resolved quickly once if raised this to reception, but after a 2 hr drive it was frustrating to not be able to use the toilet.

Quite and clean room. Hotel location and welcoming environment is just perfect.. Reception and staff were all professional and polite. Big and secure car park was bonus. Hotel entrance and signage looks very welcoming.

The view form the window wasn't great and completely blocked by the other building. (Room 118). Some green plants or flowers can bring the window view to life.
