Excellent units - warm, well appointed, clean, lovely comfortable bed and extra touches that are straight out of a higher end hotel. Great value, handy location, friendly welcome and quiet being setback off the main street.

We only had an overnight stay but the room was spotless, had everything we needed and we slept really well. Communication from our host was great - no issue finding room or parking, and she was so warm & friendly. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

Clean, comfortable and everything you could need for a night on the road. Warm shower, comfortable bed, great WiFi , microwave, dishwasher and everything you need to prepare small meals. Lady on reception was lovely. Very well priced.

The unit was incredibly clean, spacious, and perfectly set up for a comfortable group stay. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding — friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room facilities were top-notch, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary items, making it easy to prepare meals. Bathrooms were spotless with great hot water, and there were more than enough kitchen wares and utensils for everyone. The heating throughout the unit was excellent and kept us warm and cozy, especially during the chilly nights. The living area was relaxing with a good TV and strong, reliable WiFi. Everything was in excellent working order and clearly maintained with care. All of this came at a very reasonable price, which made our stay even better. Highly recommend Abbey Court Motel for families or groups looking for comfort, warmth, and great value. Would definitely stay again!

Clean, modern and private, with a great little outdoor area. Right off the main road but felt quiet and sheltered. Staff were friendly and pleasant and there was even chocolate on the pillows. Great value and Would absolutely stay again.

Would be nice to be slightly closer in to the center of town for restaurants and so forth but it is close to Toad Hall which is a bonus.

Excellent motel with more than enough facilities. The manageress always wears a serene smile. We love it so much. - cosy environment that puts it on the pedestal in the same league; - squeaky clean and spick and span; - very comfortable beds that you are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack till getting up, which is the last thing you want. - quiet and reclusive, but easily accessible to the town; - Flexible check out（upon request） - Facilities just as described, almost brand new, wonderful

Had the best sleep, tranquil and quiet after a long 2days travelling…:::: The bed was so comfortable compared to Avalon where I’ve stayed a few times. Self contained and the shower was awesome too… The birds chirping in the early hrs of the morning was a welcoming relaxing wake up refreshed and ready for another days work. Price was perfect compared others… Very welcoming Vicki whom I checked in with, will definitely stay again in the future.

Amazing location, beautiful 4 bedroom apartment with plenty of beds and space with amazing cooking facilities.

We loved everything about Abbey Court Motel. The welcome was so friendly. The unit exceptionally clean and beautifully kept. The beds and linen were super comfortable. Everything we needed for our 2 night stay was there and so cleverly stored. A huge bonus was the upright pull out grocery cupboard as everything could be packed away so all the kitchen counters were free for cooking. A full size stove and oven were available for cooking and a very decent size fridge. Parking was right outside the unit. We simply could not fault a single thing and would rebook in a heart beat.

The family apartment we stayed in exceeded my expectations! It is a well-presented and immaculate 4-bedroom house, with comfortable beds and a full kitchen. Our grandkids loved the chocolates left on the beds ;) Thank you to the friendly and helpful owners!

The unit is huge with 4 bedrooms, a spacious lounge/dining room, kitchen, 2 showers and 2 toilets.

The owner, Vicki, was extremely friendly and accommodating. Immediately at check in she offered me suggestions on area sites and walks and she provided maps for them. The apartment was cozy and inviting and very, very clean. With its well stocked kitchen we knew we would eat several meals at the apartment and the store (which Vicki told us about) was super close.

We had a fabulous time at Abbey Court Motel! A friendly welcome, clean rooms, nice garden and comfortable beds. The daily room service was a nice extra and very special for a motel. Motueka was a perfect starting point for our day trip to the Abel Tasman National park. Great coffee and food was just down the road at toad hill. We will surely stay again!

Staff were friendly and welcoming and it was well cleaned and appointed. Cute little outside garden to sit in. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice.

Privacy as a little less than ideal with glass entry doors onto walkway/driveway, but expected for a motel. Bbq was fine but small and limited. On a relatively busy road, but it was generally well sound proofed and not disruptive.

We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights at Abbey Court it was spotlessly clean, the bed and pillows were really comfortable and we had everything we needed, Vicky was very helpful and friendly making sure we were happy. Excellent value for money it was perfect and we can highly recommend staying at Abbey Park, Motueka is a lovely place to visit.

i travel all the time and stay in all types of accomodation. I have to say this place just made perfect sense i liked there was a couch in a studio room, so many places just put a bed or table, i liked there was table and chairs to eat not just a microwave but also a stove top to actually cook-- there was heating pads under the mattress to make the bed warm there was private back garden and outdoor space adn table and chairs... walking distance to any store and beach super quiet, calm ... really rare to find quiet, space, be able to cook and have outdoor space and ther heater actually worked really well at a great price ....

Lovely little motel. Expected a run down motel but was delightfully surprised with a spotlessly clean, updated motel. Our two bedroom suite with kitchenette was perfect for our needs. The woman behind the desk couldn’t have been more helpful.

Amazing little spot to stay. Highly recommend to stay here if you are in Motueka. Owner was lovely. Very friendly and accommodating. The Rooms - everything you need. Beds comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Bathrooms are clean and is nice and big.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Abbey Court Motel, it could not be faulted. Relaxing spacious gardens with a lovely indoor outdoor feel. Not overlooked , well thought out facilities with everything you could want and apartments set back from the road so no noise. The accommodation is so generous I kept joking with my partner that the owner must have won the lottery! Best hotel stay in New Zealand by far and I would certainly book again if in the area.

Vicky was a wonderful host. The room we stayed in had everything we needed, was quiet, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we come back to the beautiful Motueka. Gary, the local taxi driver was great, saved us a 25 min walk to the Sprig and Fern for dinner and very good rates. We stayed 2 nights and our room was lovely and clean after returning from a day hiking on the track. Thanks.

This was our favourite motel of our whole road trip. It was a really comfortable space, exceptionally clean, it was nicely designed and laid out, and there were loads of homely touches that the owner had added. The owner is such a friendly and kind person and made herself available to us even on Christmas Day. I really recommend this place.

There was nothing that I didn't like. This was a really comfortable and clean stay in a great location.

Our stay was awesome! We had unit 8 which backed into a small yard and was perfect for our girls to roam around and play in. We were even able to borrow a slide to my 4 year olds delight. The room has been upgraded really well. Bathroom was a great size with a heated towel rail! Kitchen was even better with a dish drawer dish washer, honestly the best amenity when having to prepare multiple meals a day. The house keepers were great, each day the room was serviced to a great standard. Special shout out to Michelle (I hope I got that right), she laid out my girls toys around the unit when she serviced our room, was super fun to come back to. Vicky is the perfect host with the right demeanour for motel customer service.

Ideal to explore Abel Tasman and Motueka's highlights, such as the must-visit TOAD hall. Great value for money for those seeking a quiet place to rest after a busy day of exploring.
