Fraud people... tmThey disnt provide any water bottles saying due to cyclone theyre shortage of water and then Charged 4 times more for water bottles They charged 450rs for a 130rs water bottle.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2024We had a really relaxing time at Lucas memorial. The family and staff who run the hotel are so friendly and kind and made us feel really comfortable. The room was comfortable with Aircon and the pool was really relaxing we spend most of our time relaxing around the pool and it was heaven! The restaurant was good value and we had some really tasty food! The garden was really big and full of wildlife, we sat on the sun loungers one evening and watched the monkeys playing in the trees. There isn’t much to do in the area no shops or anything in walking distance but everything you need is at the hotel and you can get a tuktuk to the next town if you want. While you are here you NEED to go to the Kosgoda Turtle hatchery one evening and do the turtle releasing it was amazing and the highlight of our trip! The hotel arranged a lovely tuktuk guy to take us and drop us off it was only 5 minutes away.

Reviewed Feb 20, 2023A wonderful family run hotel. Great swimming pool and our host were truly wonderful. Would definitely use it again and recommend it to any friends travelling this way. The beach is only across the road and is stunning.

Reviewed Feb 4, 2023We had a brilliant stay at this hotel, the family that run it are absolutely wonderful. we were upgraded to the poolside room, it was very clean and comfortable. we ordered rice and curry for our evening meal and it was delicious! And then had the Sri Lanka breakfast which was fantastic as well. all home cooked and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend staying here, and the beaches in kosgoda are pristine and very quiet compared to a lot of the south coast
