The property is absolutely gorgeous you feel like you are in Italy the art work and hidden treasures was so fun to find and the poop and jacuzzi area is beautiful you don’t even have to leave the resort but downtown Paso is very close drive the rooms were beautiful and very quiet
Nothing
Had a very relaxing stay at this beautiful resort! The food, service and accommodations were amazing, I only wish we could have stayed longer.
Variety of spaces outdoor
Was not there long enough to consider
Excellent customer service, super clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Sembrava di essere in un casale della toscana
Tutto molto bello e curato
Didn't try it.
ESPN not available on TV.....missed US Open tennis finals.
Fantastic place
Absolutely stunning hotel both inside and outside. The Vineyard, the star Trail, all of the art the sculptures there’s so much to do and so much to see.
The way every corner has been decorated is exceptional and makes you pause, reflect and enjoy. It was a 1 night stop over for us but wish we had more time to enjoy here. Interaction with animals and feeding them was good for kids and us.
Nothing.
Both breakfast and lunch were good. Service was outstanding! Ambience was wonderful
We didn’t like that our time with you had to end!!
The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, and the property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The service was wonderful, and we felt very welcomed and cared for.
The only disappointment was a misunderstanding regarding the wine tasting. When we purchased wine one day, we were told that we could enjoy a complimentary tasting the following day. However, the next day a different staff member told us that no such promotion existed, so I paid for the tasting. Perhaps there was simply a misunderstanding on either side, but it was a little disappointing. Other than that, we had a fantastic experience!
The Tuscan architecture of the property is absolutely stunning. The combination sculptures, paintings and other artistic expressions are amazing. I love the sacred spaces, the hospitality and unparalleled service. The restaurant is really good too. We enjoyed walking on the grounds and catching photos of butterflies and hummingbirds. We regret we did not spend time with the llamas, goats and fowl.
The only thing I can say needed a little attention was the pool. It was not quite clean, so couldn’t use it. Such a tremendous amount of land cannot be attended to all the time, I thought. Everything else that was perfect will bring me back many times over, I hope.
Struttura di alto livello. Sembra una casuale toscano. Servizi e assistenza all’ospite di assoluto livello. Sì trova a pochi minuti di auto dal centro di Paso robles (molto bella).
Nulla
Lovely communal space like the courtyard and pool; we stayed here on a stopover on a road trip though could have stayed for longer. Nice big rooms too.
Food on site felt a bit expensive especially kids food, but otherwise- great.
Beautiful grounds Lovely tasteful Art
It would be nice to have lower prices for room service so we could have breakfast without high cost in the room even though they have coffee service in the room it would be nice that we could order up cereal or pastries, and not cost a fortune more options
We had dinner twice and both times exceeded our expectations
It was an amazing resort and was beautiful 😍
Nothing, was lovely
Wir hatte ein Zimmer im EG mit King-Bett und Schlafcouch und einer kleinen Terrasse. Die Einrichtung war sehr gepflegt und sauber, so dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben.
Artwork and cultural history throughout. Many small activities to enjoy. Cello is a very good restaurant
New age vibe.
The resort is beautifully decorated, very clean, with lots of activities on the property. We enjoyed the walk around the property through the vineyards to the Zodiac signs each morning. Staff is very friendly.
The pool was very cold.
Beautiful artwork throughout the property. A wide variety of engaging activities. A true resort with no “resort fees”

Absolutely beautiful
Poolside service was terrible. Billing was incorrect. New people working poolside and mixed up orders and billed my account. It took 45 minutes to get my pizza. They said they had a shuttle to the fairgrounds but we had to walk 10 minutes to get to the shuttle

So beautiful! The architecture, the great gardens, the lovely rooms and wonderful amenities! The beautiful art collections! The friendly staff everywhere! Highly recommend it!

The location, the vineyards and the garden are amazing. Good for vacation and selflessness.
Beautifully designed Close to all attractions Big guest rooms Free coffee in lobby
Wish we knew about a wedding that was going on ahead of time
The facility
The staff, service and the entire property is very well kept.

Wonderful place to stay! Went with our adult children who also had the best time. So many things to do for all! Restaurant was also delicious. Will definitely be returning!
Tout ! Un séjour parfait.
It was so beautiful and close to everything
The Allegretto Vineyard Resort is truly beautiful. The grounds are impeccable — Tuscan-inspired architecture, manicured gardens, and vineyard views that made us feel like we’d stepped into Italy. The on-site restaurant and bar were also a highlight of our one year wedding anniversary/honeymoon trip here. Sadly, our experience was undermined by one significant issue: the floors between rooms are very thin. We could hear every footstep from the guests above us, and it made restful sleep nearly impossible during our stay (which was especially disappointing since we were looking forward to celebrating in peace away from our loud neighbors back home). We brought this up with management hoping for a solution, but unfortunately weren’t offered any assistance or accommodation, which was disappointing given how lovely the property is otherwise. We’d love to return someday - the setting really is special - but we’d only book a top-floor room, and we’d encourage the resort to take noise concerns more seriously. Also, be prepared to pay generously for any accommodation ie. roses or chocolates, as they do not do any celebratory gestures on their own.
Nice buildout, nice Italian style replica buildings etc, good estate to walk around, good aircon
The cello restaurant was really just meh. An Italian person would faint at the carbonara and the general overuse of garlic…
This is a beautiful property where attention to detail is exceptional. We were most impressed with the architecture, artwork, and gardens. A great place for a relaxing two night stay.
This is one of the most elegant resorts and hidden gem. Wonderful beds all around properties first class..
Beautiful property with lovely grounds. Self park is available. We had a room on the ground floor with a terrace facing the courtyard - pretty nice to sit outside in the shade, although we were overlooked by the wine tasting area. The restaurant staff seemed overwhelmed - we had a reservation, but weren’t seated on time, and even when we were, it took a while for service. Breakfast service was better, although they had staff moving tables all around us on the terrace while we were eating - they could have waited until breakfast service was over. Front desk staff were unfriendly, and I had to ask twice for them to replace a missing chair on the terrace. It’s a drive into town - if you are going to Paso Robles to dine, taste wine and enjoy a free concert, it is probably better to stay down town - we found ourselves taking a lot of ubers back and forth.
Every single thing.
But the pool area is too small and the pool is too small. More elevators
I made a reservation for July 3 to July 6, 2026 but broke my left ankle before the scheduled arrival for which I was under medical treatment. Unfortunately, I missed the cancellation time by 12 hours. I called the hotel and was told by a person who identified herself as Kerry that they cannot respond to my request for reimbursement directly that but that I need to contact the third party (Expedia) for them to call the hotel which I did. The third party called and emailed the hotel. I called the hotel back and have been told that they had not received a phone call nor an email. This went back and forth four times over two days and was tremendously time-consuming. I requested several times to speak with a hotel manager or the back office manager, Morgan. There were numerous excuses, such as Morgan is in a meeting, Morgan left the office and went home, Morgan went to lunch (at 4.00 pm) and so on. During my last phone call I have been told that the information has been recorded in my file and that everyone would know about it. Due to my injury I needed to leave California earlier than planned to go back home to the east coast. When I arrived, I received an email from the third party stating that Allegretto Vineyard Resort Paso Robles has denied your request because your room is non-refundable and did not qualify for a refund exception despite me offering proof of medical treatment. I had to cancel 7 hotels for my remaining stay. Four of them, after hearing about my injury, were courteous enough to reimburse me, one of them I have even paid five months before arrival and their rate was nonrefundable. Two other hotels I was able to cancel because of the time-line. The only hotel was that stingy enough and insisted on no reimbursement based on a deadline missed by only 12 hours was Allegretto Vineyard Resort Paso Robles. While they are technically correct, I do not wish any of their managers the type of ankle fracture that I experienced. It is difficult to ethically understand why I did not qualify for a refund exception. What also bothers me is the example the managers set for their young employees by requiring them to lie to the hotel guests about the unapproachability of management when problems arrive. I was really looking forward to my stay but their attitude has ruined it for me. In the future I will look for alternatives in Paso Robles. My experience is in line with the previous over 100 one and two star negative reviews on that property.
Nice hotel. But "small" in many ways - restaurant is mediocre at best, bar is small, pool is small and the spa, although great services, has no steam room, real sauna (again a small one) and not real locker rooms. Good location. Easy parking, Rooms are nice, clean and well done. It is a quiet and restful place with a lot of art and whimsical gardens. Staff is very nice.
The Italian theme and art made the property feel very special.
From the time we arrived until our departure, everything was perfect. The valet service was professional and quick. Check in staff were very pleasant, friendly and informative. We had lunch in the restaurant with a server who was kind,, knowledgeable, and attentive. We enjoyed the wine tasting and everyone there were also friendly & informative. My wife loved the room which was clean and contained all essentials, not to mention the view from the Terrace. The ambiance is beautiful, scenic and reminds me of a villa in Tuscany. Very serene, peaceful and beautiful grounds to walk around.
The room is large and quiet. The view is ok. The property has lots of garden space and enjoyable for walking. The courtyard is also large and comfortable. The parking space is also large and plenty.
There are not many restaurants near the hotel. The hotel restaurant is very expensive and only 3 stars on yelp. The tv does not have Netflix or YouTube tv.
The hotel is very unique, beautiful, the grounds, the statues, the pictures. Very interesting and beautiful.
The staff seemed to be operating on "slow mode". Friendly, nice but just moving slowly - and perhaps coming from the City I was impatient. Also I wanted to stay an extra night - the hotel had space but I booked through Booking.com and the hotel said I needed to make the change through them. When they finally responded, they told me I needed to work with the hotel but by then it was too late for me to add the extra day before I had a planned. AND the price was double what I paid through Booking.com.
Excellent hotel. Great for a weekend stay. Enjoyed the grounds immensely. Love playing the games provided outside. And love the bikes. Thanks!!
Lou called us and when she asked what would make our stay great we said an upgrade to a terrace room near the wine club area. We got a room near an area we love at your hotel. We've stayed almost once a year since you opened so it's many times. We always enjoy the hospitality, clean well appointed rooms and beautiful grounds. This time, feeding the goats was a special treat.
Beautiful property, very well kept up, peaceful and serene. Accommodations were lovely, spacious and beds comfortable. Had breakfast only at Cello, outdoor patio setting very nice. Food items well prepared, and good variety of items. Staff throughout the hotel was pleasant and gracious.
The only caveat was the mandatory daily $45 fee, and included items being either free anyway or not needed. Most only available on weekends when we were there durning the week. We were unable to opt out as at some other resorts we've stayed at if items were not being used.
The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant has absolutely amazing food.
The spa does not match the rest of the property. It’s clean but cramped and lacks all of the standard spa amenities.
I really love this beautiful hotel. I recommend one of the terrazzo rooms with the patios. The restaurant is excellent. The grounds are lovely. The wine is good. The pool is fine - not amazing but still good. The spa is their weak spot and does not match the rest of the hotel at all. It’s cramped and lacks amenities. It’s too small to go with friends. No wet or dry spa. No jacuzzi. Not near the main pool and no pool of its own. No place to get ready. The treatment itself was fine. The hotel should provide services in room only until they can build a proper spa.
When we need a break from running our own hotel, Allegretto is our first choice for a relaxing and special stay. The art and grounds are amazing as are the rooms, restaurant, spa, and employees are really .
Absolutely beautiful

Spacious, well decorated. Nice pool. Plenty of places to sit outside with others, big clean rooms.
I stayed at Allegretto Vineyard Resort over Fourth of July weekend with my mom and my dog, and we had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with peaceful grounds that are meticulously maintained. Every part of the resort felt clean, well cared for, and inviting. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. I also appreciated how welcoming they were to our dog, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Overall, Allegretto Vineyard Resort exceeded our expectations, and I would gladly stay here again the next time I’m in Paso Robles.
Resort is gorgeous and the entire build complemented the vibe of an elegant Paso Robles. However, the stay was not the relaxing restful getaway we envisioned. Overall, the sleep and rest experience was challenging. We specifically avoided the weekend time to try and maximize our quiet time, but we missed the boat. Children turned the courtyard into a soccer field as we were turning down for sleep. Our upstair neighbor started their wine stomping parade at 6am. None of these reflect the staff. This was just a much louder experience than we were expecting.
Everything about the hotel is absolutely beautiful. I will be staying there again if possible! We highly recommend it!
The rooms were very comfortable, we stayed one night here to break up our drive from SF to Vegas. Very beautiful grounds, lovely big spacious room.
The attention to detail is phenomenal! It’s an experience!
Nice property in the area surrounded by vineyards
Nothing
Lots to do on site. Good food. Excellent facilities. Very impressive decor. Good restaurant on site. Some of the options we didn't get to try was the gym and swimming pool. Would definitely return.
I can’t say enough about how deeply I cherished my visit to Allegretto Vineyard Resort by Ayres…it felt less like a getaway and more like a beautifully curated experience for the soul. It was the perfect setting to honor our mother’s memory on her birthday, while creating meaningful moments with my sister and daughter. And the spa… truly exceptional. Lauren Damery, Spa Director, along with my aesthetician Denise, created an experience that was both restorative and inspiring. What always stands out to me when I visit a destination is the spirit of the people behind it, and this team radiates genuine joy and pride, not only in the property, but in one another. That sense of connection elevated everything. I left feeling renewed, supported, and unexpectedly connected as though I had gained new friends along the way. The thoughtful insights and personalized guidance I received toward my health and wellness goals made the experience even more impactful, all within such a serene and beautiful environment. Sharing it alongside my sister made it all the more special. A heartfelt thank you as well to National Sales Manager Amanda Kong, whose care and attention helped shape the tone for such a memorable visit. The entire Allegretto Vineyard team delivers something truly extraordinary. #AllAboutTheExperiences #AllegrettoVineyardResort #RoadTrippin #JeansGirls #SpaTime
Stumbled into Allegretto on a whim: was visiting Paso Robles and booked a wine tour. Within 30 minutes of arriving, knew I had to stay. The vision behind this place is truly inspiring and heartwarming. Built from the ground up around sustainability, human energy, and the balance between light and dark: allegretto, as a name, captures it perfectly. There are structures and masterpieces from six continents woven throughout the grounds, and as you walk through, you feel transported: one moment you’re in Europe, the next in India, the next rooted right here in the American West. Astrology, art, intention, and the practice of living in the present moment are threaded through every corner. The wine selection has something for every palate. The tasting room mostly outdoors and so relaxing + beautiful, and the club membership is def worth it! What truly sold me were my wine tour hosts, Rosemary and Ryan. From the moment I walked in, they were warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about this place. The spa was great too! Jackie and Denise were warm and I got an amazing facial. Started the morning with yoga in the chapel, which was serene and restorative in the best possible way. The restaurant, Cello, is also excellent. Renee and Devyn were kind & welcoming. Lisa and Ava at the front desk were gracious and warm every time I crossed their path. Also found the most thoughtful, reasonably priced gifts for my family at the wine tasting room: a rare bonus. Heard they’re building a second pool that will include both a family pool and an adults-only pool too. A few small notes I’m sharing in the spirit of the brand itself: not as complaints, but as easy wins for mgmt. For a resort so deeply rooted in sustainability, plastic cups at the water stations felt out of place. Switching to paper would be a simple change with a meaningful impact. Similarly, the mats in the chapel were the Amazon brand, which didn’t feel aligned with the intentionality of everything else here. And one logistical thing worth noting: a portion of the grounds was blocked off for a wedding the morning after I checked in (pic included) Had planned to wander early and would have really appreciated a heads up at booking so I could plan accordingly. None of this changes my overall experience or my enthusiasm for this place. Allegretto is one of those rare destinations that if the above aligns with what you enjoy, you will be transported. Highest possible recommendation.
A terrific venue. Five star.
Why do hotels always put comforters on their beds. Makes it very warm sleeping.
We just returned from two nights in this beautiful resort. It looks like an Italian Villa and is located on a vineyard. It even has its own tasting room, When the manager Richard heard that we had not the time to taste their wine he made sure to give us a small bottle as a souvenir. The atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful and the staff caters to you in every way. Even our dog was treated royally, We will definitely stay here again when in Paso Robles. .
One of the most gorgeous hotels we’ve ever stayed in.
There was a wedding going on during our stay so we didn’t have access to the courtyard for most of our stay.
Gorgeous property with fun perks like cruiser bikes to ride and alpaca to feed! Gorgeous, well maintained grounds and attentive staff!
All staff in resort were very nice and accommodating.
For what you are charged after all the fees, this hotel is simply not worth it. We paid, with fees , almost $400 for our room with a view of the neighboring hotel and no balcony. Common areas are nice, but this is way out of line.
We love this hotel. We wish we could go more often, but the prices are steep for us. We love the architecture, the art and artifacts displayed, the landscaping, the labrynths, the bar, the pool -- It's wonderful.
The food in the restaurant was better in the past, we think. We would have eaten there more but we were a bit disappointed so we went to other restaurants.
Upon arrival, as I shared my prior stat experience in 2025, I received warm welcome and help me to check the room availabilities of the room with window view facing the vineyard.
Great place to stay for a getaway, special occasion or just a relaxing weekend. Pool is great, with cafe and full service Restaurant is good Territory is beautiful Room is comfortable, a lot of rooms have patios, what is nice.
No breakfast or any complementary included( except coffee machine in the room) Breakfast is available in the restaurant a-la-cart though. Not the walking distance to downtown Paso Robles or anywhere else
Unique and magical
Quiet , calm and relaxing
Grounds are beautiful, staff attentive and knowledgeable.
The room is larger than, say, a Best Western or Motel 6 room, but it costs more too. There was nothing extra in the room, nothing to differentiate it from any other hotel. The hotel itself has all the appearance of luxury, but once you've seen the rocks, burls, paintings, sculptures, you've seen 'em. I wouldn't go back. Restaurant dinner service was just okay.
Exceptional service ! Great food at the restaurant. Comfortable and clean rooms.
Cello restaurant, main courtyard and the labyrinth area. Very nice.
Nothing
Lovely resort with art from around the world. It feels peaceful and spiritual. Beds are very comfy. Shower pressure is strong. Staff is eager to please and always helpful. Restaurant food is very good and beautifully presented. This was our fifth visit and it's the only place we want to stay when we're in Paso Robles. We always manage to find a special room rate on their website.
We got married at the Allegretto five years ago and decided to spend our anniversary there this year. It was just as magical as our wedding weekend, made all the more special because we had our twins with us. Everyone was amazing, and they all helped make our anniversary celebration even more memorable. If you are looking for a venue, you won't find a finer one. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, look no further. And if you are looking to celebrate an important milestone in your life, you won't find a more accommodating place to help bring it all to life. We look forward to coming back each year to relive one of the most cherished moments of our lives.
The parking is complimentary and plentiful and there is also Valet if needed! The bellman, front desk, the lobby , the art! All magnificent! The room is spacious and well appointed the bed is comfortable too. The restaurants are wonderful! We had breakfasts every morning and we had dinner once which was so delicious!! The outside of the hotel is so inviting. There are many different areas to enjoy. Chairs around fire pits, outdoor seating at the restaurants. The pool area is lovely. Unfortunately we were there during a cool spell but the grounds are beautiful, Including Llamas!
The property was fabulous. Wine tasting was very tasty and the server was very detailed about the wine. The rooms was very comfortable.
Dinner: Took a long time for the server to greet or and get a drink order. We shared the ribeye. Not flavorful at all. Each of us received 2 asparagus and 3 small sliced potatoes. I get that your splitting the meal but we paid $10 extra so I feel maybe a little larger portion not a full one for the sides. The food was cold. And the server never checked on us when we received the meal. We had to flag someone to reodern a glass of wine. I asked for salt and pepper and I never received it.
I took my daughter & 2 granddaughters on the most beautiful & relaxing get away. We highly recommend it . We will definitely be back.
Beautiful grounds, peaceful setting and excellent art
Rooms are a bit dated - expensive
Ok very pretty grouds over priced for what is offered at hotel and restaurant way over prices
The setting. The art pieces everywhere. The courtyard.
Restaurant menu choices were too limited.
The hotel itself is an art gallery. We paid for upgrading room, and it was worth it. I recommend at breakfast, which isn’t included, to inform the staff, if you’re vegetarian, no bacon/pork. The way through Passo Robles was amazing.
I would expect the Yoga practice to be part of the hotel program, free of charge, as it’s done all over. Asking extra $15 for the class, I think it was very improper.
i absolutely love staying here! i’ve been coming here a few years now & some of the staff know me, i do miss Sheila the sommelier but wish for her the best!
