Paso Robles Inn

Perfect location. The hotel was a walking distance to shops, restaurants, and wine tasting.

Thin walls. You can hear people's conversations from another room.

The quiet, the jacuzzi after an active day, the comfy beds, and the night time fire pits.

Parking was on occasion difficult to find and I’m not sure if ii had to pay for it. If so, very unfair and inappropriate.

Comfortable, cozy, pleasant place. The fire pits in the garden gave a wonderful atmosphere to the evenings, the pool provided a pleasant relaxation on hot days. The accommodation has a wonderful atmosphere.

This was a fantastic hotel. We had our own private balcony and it was walking distance from everywhere you wanna be. They offered complementary bike rides and had a golf course to transport guest to local spots. The steakhouse in the hotel was fantastic.

Great hotel with wonderful and attentive staff. Weather was perfect, sunny, breezy at night. Location perfect for day trips to wineries and state parks for hiking (~25 min drive). Great restaurants in Paso Robles. Also, not crowded, so get here before everyone hears me talking about it! Highly recommend!

The location was perfect for our four-day weekend. It was our first visit to Paso Robles and it was nice to be able to walk to most things. The room overlooked the pool, but was not too noisy. Well-maintained grounds. Only complaint I had was that there are not enough hooks to hang wet towels in the bathroom, but putting them on hangers worked!

We stayed in 1889 house and it was great. Nice room and bathroom, very clean. Really liked the Cattleman’s bar. Looking forward to the downstairs steakhouse opening under Charlie Palmer. We will certainly be back to PRI.

Rooms were nicely appointed and gave that homey casual atmosphere. Our initial room had a strong sulfur smell that I was told comes from hot springs that were on the property. That said , the staff had no problem moving us to a room without that smell and we were very pleased. The hotel is within walking distance to the park and restaurants. We enjoyed the Concerts in the Park while picnicking in our lounge chairs with great food from Jeffries BBQ. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the Inns other amenities but there's always next time. Oh, and the morning coffee was delicious!

This was our second trip to Paso Robles Inn. The last one was a great stay but this one topped the first. Since then, the room have been remodeled, and the updates are fantastic. I took pictures of the shower and because my like the shower tile and we’re planning on upgrading our bathroom.

First time staying at the Inn and booked a room in the 1889 building. Loved the decor, the room details and beautiful bathroom. The room was very large and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. And best bacon 🥓 for breakfast which was included in the room rate!

We stayed 9 nights at the Piccolo, we enjoyed our stay. All the staff was courteous and welcoming. The Cattleman Bar served great drinks and food. Our only issue was with one of the managers, a balding red haired man who was extremely rude. We will definitely be back.

One night stay. Wish we had more time. Room was comfortable and the grounds are very nice. Upstairs room with no elevator. Loved the restaurant next door on the roof of the hotel called Salina.

Loved everything about it. Beautiful room and grounds - pool and amenities. Only improvements I can identify are on WiFi and could have used a desk in the room.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and welcomed. The atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful, making it the perfect getaway. We stayed in the Garden Room Suite, and it exceeded our expectations. The garden view was breathtaking, and our private patio with its table and comfortable outdoor furniture was the perfect spot to unwind. We enjoyed a glass of wine and a little snack while taking in the beautiful surroundings, and it was one of our favorite moments of the trip. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the tranquil setting. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing escape. We will definitely be back and can’t wait for our next visit!

No chairs or sofa to sit down. Price was at least double what would be considered good value. No restaurant because of construction all around the property which also made parking challenging.

The Piccolo Hotel and PR Inn were a fabulous experience while visiting Psao Robles concert fair. Shuttle services were superb

We go back every single year and the location and the staff and the beautiful grounds and the personnel keep us coming back. On this particular trip, we were helped out by Jordan, who made our visit special and exceptional, with a handwritten note and some goodies awaiting in the room. She went above and beyond and making our visit exceptional she is a true customer service ambassador. We appreciate appreciated her so much.

Great stay at the Piccolo! Beautiful hotel and great service. Beds are comfortable and so are the bathrobes. Loved the wine decor and the welcome card with chocolate. The hotel is centrally located and easily walkable to the square, etc. Dining and cocktail options at the hotel are very good.

Recommend - Friendly responsive staff! Centrally located at the park square easy for walking distance to all the wonderful, "downtown" options of restaurants, stores and more! I star deduction for house keeping failing to drain a stuck tub drain plug and CLEAN the tub....huuuummmmm.....

Great location across from City Park. Can walk to many great restaurants and cafe's. The grounds of the hotel were great. Fire pits to relax and city around in the evening. Was peaceful to stay here and room was clean and comfortable.

Staff at check in was very nice and made us feel welcome. The patio outside our room was a very nice area. Loved the brick wall in the room, the nice bathroom, welcome chocolate/turn down service & the balcony on our room. Everything was very nice. Visited the rooftop at check in for an appetizer (linguica & hot honey pizza was delicious) & drink, then back after dinner downtown. Very nice vibe, staff was the sweetest & over all - we highly recommend.

Great location in downtown, easy walking to restaurants and shops. Our room was near the street and next to a gas station, but outside noise was not an issue. Thin walls did make for some noise from upstairs movement and a next door TV, but was not terrible. We enjoyed the spacious suite. Slightly disappointed that the steak house and coffee house were both closed for renovation, but again, there are lots of other options nearby.

I liked the room and staff. The property was very nice.

For what we paid for the room, I thought was out of line in Paso Robles to charge for parking. The TV choices were very limited. A movie that was free on my TV at home was a pay for movie at the Inn. But the worst part was the noise from the room above until midnight.

Never been to Paso before but my friend had. She hadn’t stayed here before so it was a first for us both. We got a room with two full size beds overlooking the garden. Super cute room. Right across from the park and downtown so location couldn’t be better. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit. Breakfast was included and it was good. Would definitely stay again.

I’ve been coming to Paso for 25 years. Hotel is great. Restaurant is great. It’s just too expensive. I travel all over the world. This is Paso. Why am I paying this much? If it was in the ballpark of reasonable we’d stop through more often. Maybe I’m not booking correctly. Bless you guys if you’re able to get people to pay $375 for one night in a one room on a Sunday night (non-holiday).

The Paso Robles Inn is a terrific hotel! It is right in the middle of downtown; close to all shopping and restaurants. They provide a free shuttle, which took us and picked us up from a local restaurant. There was complementary charging for our Tesla. The hotel grounds are so beautiful!

The Wi-Fi speed was slow at times and a bit spotty.

Almost everything about this property is great; the location is central to down town, the new rooftop restaurant/bar on top of Piccolo is lovely and the fairly newly renovated rooms are quite comfortable. However, the housekeeping situation is not so great. Upon returning to our room at the end of the day the first day our room was not cleaned. To circumvent this we requested it to be cleaned when we left for the day. We also requested a late check out the night before our check out day and were told we needed to call at 9am to see if we could get on the limited "housekeeping list" . When I called at 9:13am to request my late check out, I was told the list was full. This was extremely disappointing because we were traveling with another couple that called a little earlier and was able to get an extra hour. It just seems housekeeping has a very significant level of power here and this experience was super disappointing after having such a great time at the property.

Definitely recommend stay here on your next visit! Rooms were updated and clean, the grounds are beautiful and it’s walking distance from all the best shops and restaurants. The staff was great, especially Michael, he went above and beyond to make us feel like special guests!

The newly restored hotel in the heart of Paso Robles was a delight to visit. The newly renovated rooms were comfortable, despite missing any chest of drawers to unpack into and the lack of a comfy chair to sit in while enjoying the large screen TV gave us only the beds to sit on. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and well lit at night. The bar restaurant we visited was lively with many choices of light foods. We would not recommend the breakfast that was served in the adjacent building. It was pricey and had very few choices for a buffet breakfast. We had a good experience at the newly opened rooftop bar at the Piccolo, which is also part of the hotel grounds. All in all our experience was a good one. The staff was excellent.

This was my first stay here. I had requested the main floor suite with the patio so we could have a bottle of wine out on the patio. The grass area was right outside my room. They had large scale connector four, Jenga and a fire pit. The room was large and very nice. Wine opener in the room with a bucket. Will definitely stay again as what you get for a room was a great value. It was close to great restaurants. It was very clean in the room and check-in. Very quiet place to stay.

Overall it was a pleasant stay although I found the greeting upon check in could have been more professional. The staff member spoke entirely too fast and did not go over detail of my reservation and was fairly impatient. The bonuses that were included with my reservation through travel zoo did not come to fruition and no explanation from Hostess at front desk. The remodel is incredible but lacking the fine tuning. The 1889 building foyer was cold, poorly decorated furnishings etc. no paintings or plants or sign of life period. The first room overlooked Piccolo rooftop with air conditioning units being the main focus...bad placement/design. The extra $$$ for the soaking tub was hardly worth it and the 1889 building has such more potential...definitely in need of some tweaking !

Property and grounds are beautiful, park-like. The rooms are perfectly appointed and everything in the room actually worked as expected, which has not always been my experience when traveling. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The lights in the trees at night, a wonderful touch. Perfect location near downtown, across from a lovely park.

Room was ill-equipped. No desk in room. Coffee maker didn’t work. 2 very small glasses. 1 small hook in bathroom for towel, no towel bar. Got charged for parking. The front desk person told us to park in the back so we would be close so to our room and to just st hang the parking tag on the rear view mirror. We assumed the parking was included in our room charges

Great location, right in town. Love the pool and hot tub area. The place has been completely renovated, what a makeover. The down side is that it’s much more expensive, with hidden costs, or at least new charges that were never before, like $20. for parking and a “Destination Fee” of $45. Other than that, it’s a great and friendly place to stay. The restaurant is also good. The new bar upstairs from the restaurant is also very cute and cozy, even for a small bite to eat.

Dog poop in the garden area. Would be good to provide doggie poop bags and a bin to put it in for those with dogs.

The location is centrally located in town. It is near lots of restaurants and shops. There is also a park across the street that has lights in the trees. While we were there, there was a Lavender and Olive festival along with a farmer’s market. The inn feels like a resort not an inn. The restaurant located on the premises has an excellent wait staff. The food is very good too. We had a lovely time. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here. The Garden Suite had a lovely balcony, the room was spacious and the location was perfect. We also enjoyed the pool area and fire pit. I would definitely stay again.

Our second time here. We always choose th histoic sections of the hotel. Lots to see and learn. Room was very nice, well appointed and comfortable. Only downside, no elevator to the seconf floor.

Accommodations at PR Inn were very comfortable. Perfect location for access to dining, shops and activities. We will definitely stay again. Definitely recommend if you’re staying in Paso Robles. Very much looking forward to our next trip!

We had such a nice time! We loved the happy hour that was included that had bite size food and wine. The breakfast was also included and was delicious. You can’t beat the location. The rooms were a good size and very clean.

Our first room had serious hygiene issues, including insects and visible mold in the shower. My wife had to go to our friend’s room to take a shower in order to make it on time to our reservation. After reporting this to the front desk we were moved to the second room; however, this room has extremely poor water pressure, making the shower unusable. We returned to our room late at night and tried to take a shower and found out that water pressure was too low. It was too late to move to a different room or go to a friend’s room. I reported this as well to the front desk the next morning. We had a very frustrating and unpleasant experience. The employee at the front desk who by the way was very professional and helpful, told me that he will leave a note on the account to someone from the management call us after the weekend but no one has contacted us yet. I have left voicemails and sent emails with videos attached and the manager Vincent Gary is refusing to contact me.

Overall the facility is clean and well kept. Has pleasant garden and pool that makes it very pleasant to use and stay. Went to the reception desk 4 times about different issues, and 3 times the person(s) at the desk were eating food! Not very eager to help. No desk or business center at the room or the facility to conduct a simple office work. Coffee shop not available in the afternoons and on a weekday past 3 PM you will not be able to get any espresso drinks on the premises or outside! They have a shuttle that I did not use but seems to be useful to get around for people who cannot walk. The location of the hotel is very convenient; within walking distance to the park, downtown restaurants, and tasting rooms.

The Inn did an excellent job of accommodating our wine tasting group with roots that go back to Medieval France 🇫🇷. The group consists of VERY knowledgeable people in the hospitality industry, so we are very aware of the importance of the management team in making local arrangements for a society such as ours. The Paso Team fulfilled all our needs perfectly‼️

Seriously $20 per night for parking. We travel 90% of the year locally and internationally. While the shower bathroom look great. Shower is functional useless. The lowest pressure water ever experienced - 1/10 for enjoyable shower. Yes I know California shower head restrictions are the norm, but this water pressure was California restrictions on steroids. Be reasonable!!!!!!
