A great hidden retreat not too far from the center of ubud. It will cost around £4 in a taxi to the centre. Staff are lovely and friendly and the hotel is cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

Rooms are big and spacious

Breakfast limited option . There is not kids club or much to do in the resort for the price they are charging

A wonderful honeymoon in Mayura Ubud Retreat 😍 A very nice room, a beautiful swimming pool, a restaurant where everything was delicious and… most of all, staff people so friendly and helpful! We were lucky to begin our holiday in here 🤩

Small, intimate with lovely staff

A large group of arrogant, loud people who had no consideration for others. Allowed their teenagers to run through the restaurant and take over with no thought for others. Loud FaceTime calls on adults’ phones. Made so much noise early in the morning while we were trying to sleep.

The hotel was very comfortable and very clean. The staff are the best part of the hotel. Everyone is so friendly, so helpful and so warm and caring. We did a cooking class at the hotel with the head chef Asana and from the restaurant, Widi. This was a fantastic thing to do. It’s loads of fun, very informative and after, you get to eat the 3 course meal you cooked. We highly recommend the Mayura Ubud Retreat and the cooking class.

Just a beautiful quaint, quiet, peaceful and relaxing resort. Room service was prompt and professional, grounds were clean and refreshing

The rooms were great and the property was very reasonably priced

The restaurants food was not great and expensive for what was provided. As the property was isloated we would have been happy to eat at their restaurant if what was on offer was better, but chose to go into town instead. Shuttle was not a good service, spa looked uninviting and yoga classes very expensive and never saw them running.

Hôtel, situé un peu à l’écart du centre , mais au calme avec une magnifique piscine et très confortable

Au calme, à 15 minutes du Centre de Ubud en navette gratuite de l’hôtel. Chambre confortable, équipement Ok, bon restaurant pour dîner le soir, petite piscine mais très jolie et suffisante pour se rafraîchir avec des chaises longues et parasols. Personnel très gentil et attentionné.

Hotel de 3 estrellas con muy buena calidad. Ambiente tranquilo y agradable: Se encuentra en una zona alejada de Ubud pero para nosotros era una ventaja. El desayuno a la carta muy bueno y tienen restaurante de buena calidad. El personal es amable y nos ayudó con un problema personal que tuvimos. Tienen servicio de spa y de excursiones de pago.

el olor a humedad en la zona del spa quizás porque el hotel se encuentra cerca de una arroyo.

Le personnel était super sympa et disponible. L’hôtel est dans un coin assez calme et assez éloigné du centre d’ubud

J’ai moins apprécié le buffet du petit déjeuner qui est « semi-buffet ». Ce sont des plats déjà prédéfinis et du coup c’est moins cool. Beaucoup de petites bestioles dans les chambres.

I had an awesome time at the resort! Friendly and welcoming staff

The cooking class is an amazing experience to share with friends or family, in a beautiful setting. We got to choose the dishes and discover all the fresh ingredients, and we can even keep the recipes to cook them again at home. It was a wonderful moment with truly delicious food. You should definitely try it if you come here!

The property was nice , complete equipment for cooking and clean

On this moment they have neighbours still under construction, but if it’s finish it will be great .

We stayed for two nights and wish we had a couple of more days to stay. This hotel is so far from all the noise and chaos and surrounded by beauty. The free breakfasts are delicious and the cute little restaurant makes wonderful food. If you have time you can book cooking class, rooftop yoga, massages and woodworking workshop at great prices. Wonderful service. We all enjoyed our stay

Too many geckos around the hotel even outside the door. The rooms had an old moldy smell. Very far from most attractions. The breakfast was very basic. And hotel menu limited to few dishes. And terrible wifi and entertainment options

The overall look and feel was superb. The staff was very cooperative and friendly. The chef was superb. The food was excellent. Overall a very good customer experience.

The property looks way better on the pictures than in reality. I also wouldn’t call it a „retreat“ since it’s just a normal hotel that offers morning yoga and massages. The room and especially the bathroom had seen better days.

The shuttle they offered twice a day to somewhere in UBUD

- The location was quite remote -There was no napkin in the restaurent - At least 5 times during our 3 days stay, they did not have what was on the menu - The lift was out of order for almost 2 days - Noisy, although a small hotel - Small pool

The staff were great, the rooms were clean. The hotel is a bit far from central but still pleasant if you have a scooter and also use GRAB to order in any drinks or food. The hotel owner/staff were kind enough to treat me with complimentary dessert selection one evening when the internet was down. Thanks!

The rooms were lovely, the food nice ,not exceptional but the best thing were the staff , they couldn’t do enough for you , when our bathroom flooded they got straight on it ,the masseur was wonderful and ‘Gede ‘our driver who took us on excursions from the hotel was a wonderful young man who took exceptional care of us , and was a pleasure to spend time with , he is a credit to the hotel and his country x a pleasant stay

Mayura is a boutique hotel, in peaceful location. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Special thankyou to the staff who helped to find my mobile phone, getting in the pond. Special mention to gede who looked after us beautifully Dawn and ali

The pool area is beautiful and the rooms are super spacious and comfortable. It's great value and in a quieter part of Ubud which was what we wanted.

The restaurant service was a little slow but not a huge issue.

I recently stayed at Mayura Ubud retreat and overall, it was a good experience. I would definitely recommend with this hotel based on my experience. It was wonderfull experiance and Management was really good. If I get chance future for sure I will visit this hotel again

I had such a great stay at Mayura Ubud Retreat! The place is super comfortable, and the views are just as beautiful as the reviews say—so peaceful and surrounded by nature. What made my stay even better were all the free benefits they offer, which is amazing considering how affordable the price is. I got to join a Balinese dance class, learn how to make Canang Sari, and even use their free shuttle to Coco Mart Ubud, which was really convenient. These little extras made my trip to Bali even more special. Definitely a great place to stay!

Helt fantastiskt ställe, som en oas i naturen! Hufsat Nära till Ubud, kanske 30 minuters promenad. Personalen var otroligt trevliga och tillmötesgående! Vårt rum var 5 steg från poolen, allt inom räckhåll. Underbart! Fint rymligt rum, allt fräscht och bekvämt. Det enda som kunde förbättras var vissa rätter i restaurangen, samt vinet. Annars jättebra!

Mayura is located away from the central Ubud area but still within walking distance to cafes, restaurants and a great laundromat! The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, helpful and welcoming - every day! Room amenities were adequately provided and the pillows were excellent! Overall a really lovely hotel which I would recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful property. We had a room on ground level which had a nice little patio to sit on in the evenings. We also enjoyed the restaurant area and pool. We stayed for only a few days upon arriving in Bali but we enjoyed our stay very much. If we were to travel back to Ubud this would definitely be where we would stay, it’s a nice contrast to busy central Ubud as this is located further out in a relatively quiet area. The restaurant had a really good nasi goreng which we enjoyed on several occasions along with springs rolls. The staff was fantastic all along and despite the short stay we had a great time!

pizza's were not good but rest of the food great. Is a bit out of town but that isn't necessary a bad thing. Free shuttle twice a day

The friendliness of the staff and really really high manners. As well as the service provided and the availability of our every request. The staff are kids and family friendly, they are very helpful and extremely professional. The facility is clean and comfortable. the tures provided were in good rates and the drivers were very helpful much better than tour guides

The breakfast was a menu type, i prefer the buffet type breakfast but that is my personal preference. The insects, but i understand it’s part of the geographic and climic package

Room was clean and comfortable, quiet at night. Staff cannot do enough for you. Restaurant is quite good and reasonable, theme nights and entertainment free. Breakfast is good, pool is lovely, your guides and taxis easily arranged. Hired a guide for 8 hours, cost about £30 for the day, lovely man, helpful and informative, covered 5 excursions in one day. Beautiful place for a retreat, lovely sound of running water from river below.

Awesome stay in this hotel. Place is really nice with a swimming pool and wellness. Team is really welcoming and warm, very professionnal in terms of service. Around 20minutes from ubud center in a peaceful area. I recommend it ! We had a really great stay there !

Good hotel in Ubud. Everything was good except the pool was very small. Though kids enjoyed. The hotel was 10-15min walk from the main roads. Forex and any marts were 15mins+ walking. It was too dark to venture out at night. There was a laundry adjacent to hotel 1 star less for that.

Cozy friendly small hotel. Enjoyed our stay, not the most comfortable of beds, quite hard in fact. However this did not spoil our overall experience. Food, floating breakfast all very good. Staff are very attentive and we met the owner who was very warm and friendly. Swimming pool is a gem. A taxi is needed to town but you can book on the hotel complimentary shuttle car.

I spent 6 nights here with my partner and I can say that everything was excellent. Staff was exceptional - super friendly and polite and ready to answer all of our questions. Room was spacious and clean with a lovely view. Breakfast was delicious with a variety mix of local and western food. I highly recommend this hotel - great value for money!

Everything was nice. - nothing Please note that the location is remote- we had a private driver and it was not a problem for us, however if you decide to walk it can be tricky.

Less number of plug points to charge your devices, location is little bit away from central ubud so we had to travel more, food was not great, breakfast was okay/average

We had a wonderful reception and the team there was always willing to help. Amazing service. Our room was wonderful with plenty of space. We enjoyed the breakfast overlooking the river below and loved the ability to choose some local dishes. We did feel that the hotel was a bit run down and the cost of the room was on the high side, however the food was very good and priced accordingly. The message at the spa however was not worth it sadly. Whilst we did receive a discount after voicing our disappointment this is definitely an area that does not live up to reputation. There is not a lot around the area, but the free shuttle to Ubud was a welcome addition.

This place is heaven - luxurious rooms, incredible breakfasts, adorable staff, great location away from the craziness of Ubud centre, divine massages, it was all just absolutely perfect! I could even step from my room to the pool. I was there for my 40th birthday and they brought me birthday cake for breakfast. I also loved the evenings of live music or traditional dance shows. A really perfect place.

I was surprised that they didn't know the answers/information to some tourist transport related questions - such as how/where to rent a car, and how to book the boat to the Gili Islands. I ended up having to find out about and sort out these things myself. (By the way - I don't recommend renting a car in Bali, the traffic is insane. I regret getting a rental car!)
