Lovely breakfast and room was tidy

A bit noisy as room was above reception and room had some marks on walls and carpet had tea stains near the bin.

Well furnished room if a little corporate, comfy bed but firm pillows , excellent attentive staff, Lovely dining room excellent food but poor lighting made reading menu virtually impossible. I would return ,

Lighting in restaurant, a rug and a colourful canvas in the room would make it feel less corporate .

Room was beyond basic, like a cell. View of a wall, dark, tiny bed, bobbly sheets.

The Coco has been updated in recent years to a good standard and the staff are very welcoming , cheerful and helpful. The location is perfect if you're seeing a show at the Spa pavillion as we did, and the lovely high street and beautiful seafront are just a short stroll from the hotel...perfect.

Convenient to town and sea front. Restaurant was very nice and pub below.

Dated permanently stained carpets. Room were hot with the warm weather. Zero room in bathroom for our needs like countertops. The most annoying thing was the noise from other rooms at 2:00 AM that awoke us on the early Saturday morning. Constant banging around.

Great location, nice room.

TV was a little difficult to get use to but it did not affect our stay.

The room looked modern and clean, the shower worked well. There were tea and coffee facilities and bottle of water in room. Bed was comfy. Location great for town and beach.

It was warm in the room without any heating. It was a little noisy in morning from other guests. It rained and the drain pipe outside our window must be broken or full of debris because there was a constant drip sound. I think hangers and tea facilities could be better arranged.

Warm welcome on arrival and throughout our whole stay. Lovely room in a great location.

Room was on the small side and unable toleave windows open as it was a roof area with access from other rooms.

Bedroom was nicely appointed, Bed was comfy. We used the restaurant which was excellent for an evening meal. Bar area was good and all staff exceptionally friendly, welcoming and thorough.

Only gripe was that our room was extremely hot (it was during the heatwave) and whilst the hotel supplied a fan (and we had brought one too) the room remained very hot , even with the windows open

We liked the addition of a coffee machine .

We ate in the restaurant and my husband had a steak, seeing it was a steak restaurant. Half of it was full of gristle and it was very difficult to eat. We did tell our waitress. She said "sorry about that"

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and the colour scheme very nice. The restaurant was very nice with lovely food also the pub which joins on to hotel was very nice with friendly bar staff and lovely outdoor seating in the garden.

The water pressure was awful for the showers, and the sensor light on the bathroom mirror kept triggering itself randomly, even during the night, which caused a rather loud clicking noise sporadically during the night.

Just the fact that the hotelwas not very accessible for a wheelchair though our room was.

It was good to have a Marco Pierre Restaurant on site

Our room was at the top of the stairs. Woken up through the night with other guests being very loud (drunk). This happened a few times. Didn't get much sleep!!

A fridge in the room for cold water/drinks would be nice. A long mirror would also be nice.

The entire hotel was very clean and immaculately presented. The room was large and the bathroom a good size with quality fittings. Staff were exceptionally friendly and informative, and the location faultless, making Hotel CoCo exceptional.

The room had no air conditioning given the heatwave. But, not the hotel's fault; they cannot install this given the age and design of the building. So a 9/10 given this for comfort.

I wanted to sleep early but it sounded like someone was playing drums under my bed. Breakfast - porridge was good but very hot. Full English was awful I didn’t eat most of it.

Dave on reception made our stay what a great guy and so helpful!

Noise of a night ,party upstairs stamping around ,second night very bad swearing outside in corridors possible same male as heard him loudly upstairs ,room was not cleaned ,tea,milk etc not replaced.

Breakfast very enjoyable and the staff friendly and competent.

It was extremely hot and with no air-con in the room we had to open the windows. Unfortunately we were woken up by the seagulls at 4am!! The bathroom had no window to open and the towel rail was red hot and we were unable to turn it off!! Finally the TV had been unplugged which we only discovered just before we checked out!

Location was excellent. Staff were friendly.

Room 216 - was extremely hot. There was a fan in the room but the window had to be propped open with a piece of wood. As our window opened onto a flat roof with fire escape we did not feel safe to leave the window open (with a piece of wood) especially on the first evening when we were in bed a person actually came out of the fire escape onto the roof. With this in mind we felt the room was overpriced. In hindsight we should have complained to reception & asked to be moved.

Paper thin sound proofing between our room and the one above. We could hear every footstep and they banged on floor because they considered our TV too loud at 9pm!

Amazing location, beautiful boutique hotel and very comfortable. The staff could not have done more nothing was effort they went above and beyond especially Grace she is an absolute asset to the hotel.

Clean fresh and modern, staff friendly and polite.

Only issue was could hear people in other rooms, I was on the ground floor and floorboards of the room upstairs were noisy who seemed to be walking around a lot in the night and early morning on a weekend, this was the only issue though.

Not an issue for is but i did notice there wasn’t a wardrobe in the room and a shelf in the bathroom would be handy.

The room was renovated and nice, overlooking the courtyard. Perhaps a little small but had everything you needed. The only negative would be the water pressure in the shower is quite poor. Hotel staff really friendly and helpful. Definitely will come to stay again.

All good at the hotel was excellent and very much appreciated the pub element which we again enjoyed very much.

Unfortunately no air conditioning in the room and due to the rather hot temperatures the room was very hot despite a fan being provided which unfortunately just couldn’t cope

This is a converted inn and it does what it says on the label -- provides accommodation and basic amenities. The staff is nice and friendly and the place is conveniently located. The breakfast was ok.

Air conditioning would be very helpful during the summer. I really struggled during the heatwave -- I asked for a fan, but it barely did the job,

Gentleman that was on reception when we arrived,was friendly and helpful, and gave us all the information we needed. Room was very nice, clean and shampoo etc was a nice added touch. All staff when we left room were always very polite

Bed was super comfy and room was very spacious. Shower was lovely and big too! They also decorated the bed for our anniversary as a nice little touch!

Toilet too ages to finish flushing/fill back up, loud buzzing in bathroom despite lights and fan being off. Shower also randomly dripped water throughout our 2nd night!

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was in a very good location for my needs in relation to the trip i was on. The room was very tidy and clean and quiet when other guests were about. The food from the bar was exceptional and reasonably priced. Good menu and a decent selection of drinks in the bar . Very relaxed and I will definitely be booking to stay there again. Close to the sea front for my needs.

I enjoyed my meal in the restaurant but my husband was very disappointed with his steak, cooked nothing like he asked for sent it back and it was still dry and overcooked. Breakfast was fine but it is the only meal I prefer as a buffet. Would go back but eat out

Spaces for ev's to charge is too small. You let non ev's park in the charging bays. Bloody frustrating.

Original room was very small but very helpful staff put us into a lager room. Excellent service. Very clean and nice.

There was a lot of noise - from the courtyard which our room overlooked, to the corridors, to the music being played in the breakfast room below us… We didn’t sleep well. The shower pressure was very low. One of the towels provided had a hole in, threadbare.
