Good staff

I travelled to Pune to drop my son at Symbiosis Institute of Technology’s Lavale campus. With no suitable accommodation close to the Institute, I chose Hinjawadi as my base, knowing I would have to make the commute almost daily. I was looking for a hotel that was easy to access despite Pune’s traffic, assured cleanliness, offered great buffets, valued its guests, and was responsive to their requests. Vivanta Hinjawadi ticked every box. I would highly recommend it to both business and leisure travellers.

The inclusive buffet breakfast had a lavish spread of dishes, and every single item we tried was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly, and we really appreciated the overall service. We had requested our rooms to be near to each other, in advance, as we had booked two rooms, and we were delighted to get interconnected rooms. I also asked the staff about the occupancy, and they mentioned that the hotel was heavily booked due to the Independence Day holiday falling over the weekend. However, we honestly didn’t feel the impact of the high occupancy at all. There was still a great sense of privacy and comfort throughout our stay. The location is another big plus, with several food joints and shopping options nearby, including the area next to D-Mart. We even ordered through Swiggy once, and it was completely hassle-free. We also received a lovely surprise of sweets and a cake for Independence Day. Such a thoughtful gesture ❤️ We absolutely loved the hospitality, service, food, and thoughtful little touches that made our stay special.

Cold water in the pool was a bit disappointing. A hotel of this repute can definitely afford to have a heated pool. The pool was also quite small, although this didn’t affect us much because of the timings we chose. In the morning, there was hardly anyone around, and in the evening, there was only one other family. The breakfast buffet was quite crowded, with only one coffee machine available. Rather than waiting for a waiter to serve us, we chose to help ourselves so we could get our coffee promptly. However, there was a queue to use the machine, while the waiter would also come to use it for guests ordering coffee at their tables. At one point, the water ran out, which took a few minutes to refill, and then the milk ran out as well, again taking some time to be replenished. Considering it was a weekend, Independence Day holiday, and naturally a peak period with more guests, this could have been anticipated. For a hotel of this repute, I would definitely suggest having at least one additional coffee machine available during peak breakfast hours.

Had nog een plek over. Vervoer naar naastgelegen Courtyard by Marriott was gratis. Normale kamer qua inrichting. Bedden waren prima. Regendouche was ok.

Verouderd hotel. Alles was wat gesleten. Harde airco op de kamer, Water blijft staan in de douche. Handoeken dun. WC niet handig gepositioneerd. Schimmel op de kitranden, aanslag op de glazen douchwand. Personeel nogal kortaf en niet warm (rest van het hotel was wel warm).

Breakfast was good. Nice spread.

Well I have forgotten my very expensive shaving trimmer in the room while checkout and hotel didnt called me back. Very sad. Overall its was a pleasent stay.

This time I need to wait a bit at the reception. But the stay is good. Its spacious.

Front office took real long time to allocate the room despite no rush at the counter. The lady was asking on phone someone whether to allocate front room or rear room. Stained towels were in the room and that was bad.

The Rooms were spacious, toiletries were solid - all included. Location is pretty neat, close to a bunch of restaurants, the mall is a 15 minute drive but accessible.

The In Room dining could have been better.

Upon arrival, my room lacked a hair dryer and the pressing iron did not work. Both got fixed quickly by the staff = all good.

The front desk - Kapil and Chaitanya were very helpful. Birendra from the restaurant was exceptional especially because he went out of his way to make sure my pet feels at home. No words to describe the gesture. Ravi at the breakfast served exceptionally good coffee. Over all value for money and good place to spend quality time.

The room service - house keeping as well as in room dining were a tad slow.

The Vivanta staff are very accommodating and helpful. They cater to our every need for food, lodging and services. I always come back here for both business and now personal travel.

Budget hotel facility for premium charges.

The bathroom fittings, such as the toilet seat and round mirror, required repairs, and the bathroom itself was dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned for several weeks, including during my stay. This is not at all value for money. Additionally, the in-room food served tasted and smelled like it had been preserved for a long time.

Prior to my visit, I had explicitly requested assistance with travel arrangements for my transit from Mumbai to Pune, trusting the esteemed standards of service that Taj is known for. Unfortunately, despite my reliance on your team and multiple follow-ups, there was no response or support provided. At the very last minute, I was forced to arrange a local cab service on my own – a choice that was not only unsafe but also resulted in a significant delay to a critical business meeting. This delay has caused not just monetary loss but also considerable mental stress and reputational impact. I am utterly shocked and disheartened that such negligence could happen under the Taj brand, where I’ve always had exemplary experiences in the past and have been a loyal guest on multiple occasions. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously and escalated to the concerned leadership. I request a formal acknowledgment of this issue, and an explanation of how such a lapse occurred. The location was okay. Had a city construction view.

There was no hair dryer in the washroom.

Hotel location is very good.

Breakfast area was not proper and even the plates, bowls were not clean. Huge scope to improve the breakfast setup.

In room one light above bed was broker. Another light fitting was hanging. Bathroom fittings are not cleaned as the same are old. Curtains need wash, bed sheets gound ok. Pillows do so.

Close to highway, good room size and good food!

It was nowhere close to a 5 star , decor wise or upgraded technologically. No usb port and switches of the washroom outside is very ancient. No exhaust in the washroom! Food very expensive but taste wise very good and staff very helpful and kind.

Not a happy stay for sure, We visited for just 1 night stay and the hotel rooms were bit outdated like the TV it was more than a decade older, bathrooms could be renovated looks very old and even the used soap were not removed from it. Neither the bodywash was restocked in my room no 145. It didn't contain hand dryer. Also in our stay dinner and breakfast was included. Let me explain in detail the table we were provided by one of the staff when we entered didnt contain any water bottle no spoon no tissue paper nothing was provided, we had to ask the staff to provide for the basic things. Dinner was not so fresh we asked for a simple phulka roti which came after ages which was extremely salty in taste, by that time other food was already cold and non veg mutton was stale. Trust me the entire dinner was pathetic To add more to my turmoil, I found a plastic in my dessert like really????? I am hugely disappointed😞 I won't ever visit again. They stay its a FIVE STAR stay trust me even 2 stars these days are better than this one.

We loved the food spread in dinner and breakfast Buffet. The live music was nice. It is very centrally located. Next mall, shoping brand and easily connected with highway

Excellent service from check in to check out. Even the MYNT restaurant staff were very helpful and polite special thanks to Manasi,Payal ,Mr.Pawan and all the others too .And would also like to mention Miss Anjali Mahale on Duty Manager was exceptional in hospitality and very polite .Overall we had a great experience at Vivanta Pune.
