Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh drinking water and toiletries replenished each day. The swimming pool was always spotless and a wonderful place to relax. We also loved our private veranda overlooking the beautifully maintained gardens, which was the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The on-site restaurant was very convenient, serving delicious meals and consistently excellent breakfasts each morning. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff, who were genuinely kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made us feel very welcome. We would happily stay at Chalicha Resort again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and great-value place to stay in Chumphon.

The lady staff tried to fix the lift with a screwdriver...

The bed was rock hard. We had to ask for two pillows to make four on the bed. The hotel is a bit out of town. Not disastrously so but in other circumstances this would have annoyed me.

Dies war allerdings ein nachteil, da die Deluxe Zimmer mindestens genauso gross waren, aber auf dem Balkon eine angenehme Sitzmöglichkeit hatten, beim Bungalow gabe es weder eine Terrasse, noch irgend eine Sitzmöglichkeit im freien. Das Frühstück war sehr dürftig.

Mein Zimmer ist in der hintersten Ecke gewesen. Dunkel und genau visa a vis vom Lokal. Der Aussenbereich vor meinem Fenster glich einer Müllhalde total ungepflegt. Kein Safe! Ich bin einen Tag vorher abgereist.

Frühstück fast immer dasselbe. Ein Lachen vom Personal hätte auch nicht geschadet. Eine alte Dame räumt immer ab . Toller Mensch.

We arrived and have never felt so unwelcome. Woman would not get off phone. So we sat and looked around, on the chair cushion there was bird feces. I looked up the ceiling had dust webs like curtains. The overhead fans were covered in dust as well. We asked to see the room, as we were tired but concerned. The room was as bad. The wooden bathroom door looked as if it had been kicked and was broken and splintered. Returned to reception and began taking photos...the woman in charge waved us off and told us to leave. We did. My 70 year old husband was shaking from upset.

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir konnte direkt am Anreisetag einen Roller dort mieten. Das Hotel liegt ca 15 Minuten zu Fuss vom Zentrum entfernt. Kann man aber gut machen. Mit dem Roller ging es schneller und wir sind auch zum Strand baden gefahren (30 Min.). Es war sehr schön ruhig am Hotel und wir haben die Geräusche der Natur genossen. Das Zimmer mit Balkon war toll. Auch der Pool war eine Bereicherung für den Aufenthalt. Alles noch sehr ursprünglich in Chumphon, wenig Tourismus. Tolle Nachtmärkte mit günstigem und frischen Essen. Nur zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Das Frühstück würde wir wohl nicht mehr dazu buchen. Man findet aber etwas. Das Restaurant am Hotel haben wir sonst nicht getestet, da wir lieber auf die Märkte essen gegangen sind.
