The room was clean and spacious, the AC worked well

The service was disappointing compared with other similar hotels we’ve stayed at in India and elsewhere. Reception staff were rude, and when we asked about special requests made through Booking.com, we were given different answers two or three times, which left a very poor first impression. Both cards stopped working within 24 hours, and we only discovered this when trying to use the lift. We then had to return to reception to have them reset. The bed was really soft, might be a pro for some but we didn’t find in comfortable. At restaurant Kai, one dish arrived frozen in the middle. When we raised this, the waiter initially insisted it wasn’t frozen. After some discussion, he eventually checked a dumpling himself and took the dish back to be redone.

location is good staff friendly and polite

breakfast spread is huge but quality notbso great specially baked goods. the property is very old and you can feel that . the bathroom is just ok and there is no space to keep dry clothes. the fact that it is a very old hotel shows up i would not go back . specially with modern hotels offering better facilities at half the price chose it cos of the brand but not happy .

1. The "Superior Double Room" shows 'Spa tub' on the website, but the room doesn't have it (R. No. 219). 2. The exhaust line in the washroom is faulty, and we get cigarette smoke every time in the washroom. When we reported it, a sanitation staff member came just to inform us that they had turned on the exhaust system. However, there was no improvement. Even at 3 am, when we used the washroom, the cigarette smell filled the living room, causing great discomfort. 3. While checking out, I informed the issue (S. No. 2) to the person at reception who helped with check-out formalities. Unfortunately, he was least bothered to know about the issue, but he was more interested in knowing whether we had consumed anything from the 'minibar.'

There is malfunctioning of fire alarm. Disturbed throughout the stay especially in night, even after complaint the issue is not resolved. The soft drinks in the refrigerator cost around 300 rupees, even the MRP of this drink is 40 Rupees.

The gym & Spa area is very dirty. Also the breakfast area also looks unhygienic.

Given the beachside location, I understand that moisture is expected; however, the rooms have an unacceptable, overpowering smell of mold. It feels as though mold is trapped somewhere, creating a persistent, unpleasant odor. The air conditioning units require immediate inspection, as the current state of the rooms is unacceptable. Please address this issue.

Excellent rooms and really good buffet with tastu food all around. Location is also fantastic.

Great stay at ITC Vishakhapatnam. Met all expectations.

The hospitality was amazing. Staffs were very courteous and accommodating to our requests. Breakfast Buffets has agood spread from Indian/South Indian and Continentals.

I enjoyed my 4 days stay. It is value for Money As I stay regularly on a monthly basis ,minimum 5days continuously, request you to give a good tariff including breakfast.

The room was comfortable. 1. There was smell in the room, to spray a room deodorant on cleaning the room everyday, 2. To change the cleaning cloth,used for wiping, as I experienced bad smell while using the phone

Luxury property in a prime location, hardly couple of hundred yards from Ramakrishna Beach. The Kali Temple, Submarine Museum, Aquarium etc are all a short walk away. Offers all the services/amenities you would expect from an ITC-Welcomgroup property. Wanted a relaxing, comfortable break in Vizag with my wife and the property was perfect for that. Extensive buffet spread for breakfast, good service, prompt, attentive staff, luxurious room with a sea view, good in house restaurants.....ticks all the boxes.

Nothing to dislike at all. (Well, maybe they could add a cheese and cold cuts selection in the buffet spread. Its a standard part of the breakfast buffet in most good hotels, so was a bit surprised that they didn't offer it).

The location was good.

The room was really dissapointing. There was no ventilation, no cleanliness and the room was very damp al thorough the stay. There was a mix up out breakfast booking and then the staff did not accommodate breakfast into out booking. There was construction going on in many parts of the hotel and there was no prior information on this, it was inconvenient to even walk around

The service staff can be trained to be more hospitable..especially at the breakfast area.

1. Food at Dakshin was good. And the staff at Dakshin was friendly. 2. During the check-in, they were able to shift us to a sea facing room.

• Staff responsiveness and overall service: The staff did not appear customer-friendly. Most interactions felt curt, and there was a general sense of grumpiness rather than warmth or hospitality. Given that the property is slightly away from the beach, exemplary customer service is the hotel's best bet. Unfortunately, this was not the case. • Restaurant access on New Year’s Eve: We were informed only on New Year’s Eve that we would not be able to dine at the in-house restaurants as they were fully booked. There was no prior intimation to residents, which was disappointing and inconvenient. They called us later after we complained but by that time, we had already made our plans. • Check-in experience: The check-in process took close to an hour, which is unusually long and set a poor tone for the stay. • Breakfast quality: The breakfast was very average and below expectations for an ITC property. For instance, the pooris were extremely hard and brittle rather than soft and freshly prepared. The filter coffee and cappuccino were both quite poor. • Room size and storage: The rooms are quite small with very limited cupboard/storage space, which makes longer or even moderate stays uncomfortable. • Common areas and overall upkeep: The foyer and some common spaces appear run-down (old carpets) and in need of refurbishment. We hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps in addressing these gaps.

The hotel offers very good in-house restaurants, and its location is central and highly convenient.

The room allowed to me does not have a sea view n the gym and other facilities are not open 24×7.

I liked the breakfast

I was hounded for payment, I was traveling from London and I told them I would pay as soon as I check in. But they asked my parents to pay and also said it was booking.com who were troubling us.. but the reception staff also did the same. I was very disappointed at the way all of this was handled.
