I know it was low season but even in high season you are quite far from all the action. You need to rent a motorbike if you want peaceful lovely (Staff) good price for drinks lovely pools then it’s a good hotel.

I stayed with my family my wife and 3 kids and usually one of us has a bad word to say about when we stay somewhere but this time the Pandora had us all smiling the whole week

I stayed in this hotel twice on my one visit, which means, I came back to it after trying something else :) Location is great if you enjoy staying a bit away from crowds. I prefer slower and more relaxed pace, so this one was spot on. The vibe is relaxed, created by friendly staff and easy going guests. No sellers. Very convenient bar that has kitchen as well, so did not actually need to think about getting food on lazy days. Menu is simple and food is good. There is a restaurant in walking distance if you prefer mixing things up. It’s a 40/50 min walk to pier/town with restaurants and it’s possible to rent a scooter in hotel reception if walk seems too challenging or staff can order taxi that has a fixed price. I really enjoyed the sun bed under palms, did not really want to leave the property as everything was very convenient. There is a beach in a walking distance if you prefer enjoying sea. I enjoyed sun bed under the palms next to one of the swimming pools and soaked in sun all day long, so walks in the afternoon to pier area was a very nice way to get the daily steps in.

It’s not that I disliked something, it’s about being aware of things that are different. Nothing is perfect ever, so just let me say that this hotel is doing really really good getting to a perfection. The WiFi for screen scrollers might be a bit challenging. It’s an island, depending on internet providers from mainland, so do not expect fibre internet speeds. I chose to download content before watching to avoid buffering. Be aware that room cleaning is on requests only. Hotel provides daily refills of small water bottles, tea/coffee, toilet paper and so on, staff is always there to assist, but you decide when it’s time to tidy up your room. I actually think it’s smart way optimising staff. I would recommend a small advice of creating more staff invisibility when it comes to cleaning. To use back doors, be more discreet going around with cleaning equipment. It’s not about not appreciating people who are working, but rather keeping the relaxed and care free vibe that hotel is nailing already so well in other areas. Now the hotel itself is pretty close to nature and there are no nets on the doors and there are some gaps on the back door, so some insects and other small creatures might invite themselves into rooms. I noticed one room did have sliding net door in the front, could be smart to install them in all rooms, maybe there is a solution to cover gaps on the back door too to keep the rooms free from uninvited guests slipping through under the door. Apart from these small details, again, hotel is doing great work. Guests who come here and have a bit of understanding about people and property management can easily recognise the talent of hotel management. Well done, keep up the good work! If in area, definitely coming back again.

As a non motorbike rider to get to town one needs to find transport. The property is elevated on the side of a hill so it is more difficult for the elderly. The walk to town is a few km away and the road is narrow and sketchy with local fast motorbikes. So best to hire a taxi from the hotel.

Обслуживание девушек на ресепшене и бассейны. Всё остальное было ужасно. Но если приехать на одну ночь и перед сном выпить горячительных напитков, то, возможно, части минусов вы не заметите.

Самый худший отель, где мы останавливались. И этого звания удостаивается наш отель на Самете Pandora 3*. Сейчас видела цены по 3500 руб за ночь, но в феврале 7 ночей обошлись нам в около 800$. Ну и что же мы получили в итоге за эти деньги: 1. Двухкомнатный номер. Реально довольно просторный, с двумя кроватями. Одно из стекол, рядом с входной дверью, внешне было похоже на те, что стоят в поездах, и было затемнено. В этой комнате кондей дул только теплым воздухом, поэтому муж решил выбрать для сна вторую комнату с адекватно работающим кондиционером. Но там был минус – балкон (не выходили из-за муравьев) и стекла во весь рост с прозрачными шторами. В некоторых других номерах были реально темные шторы, как указано в описании, но нам не повезло. 2. Телевизор. Мы на нем смотрим ютуб, поэтому неплохо, когда он есть. Но и отсутствие не критично. Здесь же на картинках он присутствовал, а в реальности эта тумбочка была пуста (фото 9). В остальных номерах тоже, мы проверили. 3. Ванная комната. Душ был просто на стене. Соответственно, когда ты моешься, пол потом мокрый везде. В пузырьке с гелем для душа снизу оказалась небольшая дыра, которую я благополучно заклеила пластырем. Говорить им побоялась, поскольку оплачивать пузырек мне не хотелось принципиально, а там за всё висел прайс на стене. 4. Бассейны. Это, пожалуй, единственный реальный плюс данного отеля. Их было два для взрослых. Один с пресной водой, второй – с соленой. Ну и один 1,20 м глубиной, второй – 1,60. 5. Собственного выхода к пляжу у отеля не было, но идти минуты три, т.ч. не критично. Хоть и назад подниматься в горочку. 6. Инфраструктура. До ближайшего 7Eleven идти 20 мин, до вкусных ресторана и кофейни – 10 мин. В 3-5 мин тоже были мини-ресторанчики, но уровнем похуже, просто съедобно. Аналогично и в нашем отеле. Частный магазинчик также имелся рядом, но там продавали только напитки и снеки. 7. Wi-fi. Как и было написано, он был ужасен. Нормально работал лишь в районе ресепшена.

Nice pool area and friendly staff

This room was absurd. The bedroom was huge, yet completely empty except for one bed — and not even a king-size bed, but a small bed placed in an oversized room. No decor, no bedside lamps, no warmth, no attention to detail at all. It felt like a room from a horror movie. Large living room with a couch, but no TV. You just stare at a wall. The bathroom was basically one large wet chamber. The shower was not separated from the toilet, so everything stayed constantly wet. There were no windows and no ventilation, so we had to keep the door open or it would start to smell like a swamp. All of this might have been tolerable if it were cheap, but charging 4,200 baht — even during Songkran — is a joke for a room like this. We had stayed two nights at a much nicer beachfront place for 4,000 baht per night. We only came here for the last day because we extended our trip and the beach hotel was fully booked. So we ended up paying more for this place, which was also in the middle of nowhere.

I did miss having a fitness room of some kind to use. Plus you really need a scooter to get around as it's a little out of the way and the road to access the resort is quite narrow so a bit tricky at night if you're walking. But there are scooters on site you can rent and they're cheaper than in town! Also the rooms are quite sparse. A cupboard or some shelves to put things would have been nice as we were there for 12 days.

Very nice rooms and pools. Friendly staff. Very clean and upmarket. Great price, very good value for money!

No food after 8pm! No bar snacks! Closed even for drinks very early. Front of rooms is beautiful. But upper floor rooms are accessed from the rear which needs a bit of tlc.

עשיתי הזמנה דרככם בתאריך 10/3 שילמתי 780 שח ל 5 לילות שבעת ההגעה ב10/3 הגעתי למלון והמלון לא הוצג כפי שאתם הצגתי לי אותו באתר ועזבתי את המלון באותו רגע. בנוסף שלחתי לכם פנייה ולא הגבתם לי אני מבקשת מכם לקבל את מלוא כספי בחזרה. בנוסף יש לי תמונות עדכניות ויש לי טופס שביצעתי צ'ק אווט באותו הרגע שהגעתי למלון. מיותר לציין שאני תקועה בתאילנד עקב המצב הביטחוני ,ישראל ונותרתי ללא כסף. אבקש בכל לשון של בקשה בצורה מכובדת להחזיר לי את כספי. תודה

L'emplacement.

Eine schöne Anlage und besonders der eine von zwei Pools hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Geräumiges Zimmer mit einem großen Kühlschrank, schlicht aber ok.

Das Zimmer ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was sich an der Einrichtung und Türen bemerkbar macht. Es hingen Kabel aus der Wand, wo anscheinend mal ein Elektrogerät hing. Die Klimaanlage war ziemlich verstaubt.

Das Doppelbett ist nicht geeignet zu zweit. Sobald sich eine Person dreht bekommt das der Bettnachbar wie bei einen Trampolien zu spüren. Es wäre gut, wenn die Badezimmer einen Wasserschaber hätten, da es keine Duschkabine oder Duschvorhang gibt.

Lovely little apartment overlooking a swimming pool with sea view over the trees. There were two pools with clean water. Nice bar/restaurant by the pool. Quiet location but 5mins walk to beach and cafés/restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.

Some of the furniture in the apartment was a bit tired. It's about a 25min walk to the nearest Seven Eleven, but you can get beer/water/snacks at a tiny local shop, but it's a bit expensive compared to the Seven Eleven

Pour moi idéalement placé à l’écart de la foule de la plage principale. Facile à 20 mns à pied si on veut aller en (ville) et on peut louer des scooters partout. Hotel très bien , belles piscine, environnement calme. Personnel à l’écoute, de quoi manger et petit dejeuner sur place, idem pour réserver les excursions. Pour moi meilleur endroit pour profiter de cette petite île et gérer soit le calme soit aller sur la plage plus animée ou autre. Les trajets en scooters sont rapides de toute façon. Regrette pas mon choix

Franchement rien à dire. Si il fait vraiment creuser, un peu ramé avec le wifi mais c’est partout pareil dans l’île. Emmener des livres, c’est l’endroit idéal pour faire le vide

There was no wardrobe or drawers for clothes, I had to pay extra to move rooms so that I could get a wardrobe. The first room was 1 straight through room and the air con was blowing directly into your face when you were in bed so I paid more to move rooms which was more adequate
