No mucho, el baño aceptable, el primer piso es lugar bonito, bien ubicado y con comida aceptable

Muy ruidoso, se escuchan los pasos y huéspedes. El ruido exterior es demasiado, todas las noches no logramos dormir bien ya q guardan los fierros de los puestos de vendedores y comienzan antes de las 6am a ordenar y comienza un ruido extremo. La camas muy incómodas. No hay muebles para guardar las cosas o dejar pertenencias personales lo que lo hace muy incómodo.

No stairs we stayed on the 3rd floor, the guy that assisted us took the small suitcase and let my sister carry the big one. Smoking in the street not safe.Music loud at night.

I loved the atmosphere. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. We ordered food at the restaurant and it was superbly delicious

The lack of parking and the surrounding noise. The noise was out of the control of the establishment, but if you want surrounding quiet, not the place. The surrounding noise did not bother me as it is all part of the Cape Town nightlife

The noise from the building work going on next door during the night disturbs your sleep.

Buona la posizione. La colazione non era tutto sommato economica e abbondante. Il bar interno è molto comodo per prendersi delle pause nel tran tran delle visite della città.

Camere molto fredde e assenza di riscaldamento. Una delle camere aveva la doccia in stanza fuori dal bagno. Il servizio bar era lento (specie a colazione) e talvolta il conto era sbagliato.

Super für Alleinreisende, weil es wirklich viel Programm gibt und die Volunteers, die das veranstaltet haben, waren immer super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles was sich ein Backpacking-Herz wünschen könnte. Auch sehr sauber und gute Ausstattung generell.

A equipe muito simpática e atenciosa, o ambiente é limpo, organizado e agradável…as camas são muito confortáveis e com luz e tomadas individuais; o bar/lanchonete do local é extremamente prático e agradável! Amei e super recomendo! Tudo PERFEITO!Mas a localização, sem dúvida, é a melhor coisa (bem centralizada, perto de TUDO)!!!

Gostei de tudo!! Só tenho uma sugestão a dar: as escadas para as camas (beliche) poderiam ser mais próximas da cama.

As a return guest I have newer been disappointed always knew exactly what I was going to get. Also notice the upgrades, Sadly I was relocated for one night , no problem, to a another 4 bedroom dorm , the issue was it was more like a downgrade. For the same rate? In my opinion the room was not up to standard, More like the forgotten low budget room. ROME was not build in one day so the saying goes, Please I believe you can do better. Couldn't help to take it personally. . Big thank you to Joshua and Chad for your hospitality.!

The facilities were clean and well kept after. Staff was okay.

Location- Parking is an issue; struggle to find parking. Had to walk up so many stairs with our luggage. Should at least provide assistance with luggage if they're making us walking up so many stairs. Room only had one extra blanket, in a 3 bed family room. Need to invest in a bit more warm blankets, especially in winter. Rules kept changing during our stay. The one night we were allowed to have dinner in our room, the next we're not allowed to have dinner in our room. Complementary coffee in the morning was horrible.

Clean dormitory.

I have been staying at 91Loop since 2018 whenever I visited Cape Town, and I have never had any issues with the staff. They have always been professional and helpful. However, during my most recent stay, I had an encounter with a male staff member named Shepard who entered the female dormitory. When I told him that he should knock at the dormitory entrance and wait for a response before entering, he attempted to justify his presence in the female dormitory. I found this behavior rude and inconsiderate, especially given that there are female staff members available at the hostel. Furthermore, the same staff member was responsible for opening the strong room so that I could collect my luggage. Instead of assisting, he stood with his hands in his pockets while I struggled to lift my heavy luggage from the shelf. Considering that he is employed in the hospitality industry, his conduct was disappointing and failed to demonstrate the level of courtesy and support expected towards guests.

Staff was extremely friendly and informative. The accommodations or very comfortable and convenient to the city.

The location was perfect and central.

The booking should specify which bed you'll be getting as upper bunk is hard to access. The towel in the shower used as a mat was soaking wet. Very limited privacy with curtains not closing properly

Wir hatten das Zimmer für eine Nacht gebucht, um den First Thursday in Kapstadt zu verbringen. Dafür war das Zimmer perfekt. Sehr gemütlich und es hat genau gut gepasst. Unten gibt es außerdem eine sehr angenehme Bar, vor allem der Burger war dort gut. Für uns war dann aber vor allem die Lage perfekt.

The venue is unsuitable for children. Despite this they accepted my booking. They were then hard ass about any refund. My suggestion, avoid these crooks and avoid this establishment. The place is dingy, in a bad area, and has criminals and prostitutes all over. The rooms are dingy, clausrophobic, and awful. The place is a real fire trap. If you read this and avoid this place because of it, I will have done you a favour and saved you money.

The location is great, lots of mini markets, bars and restaurants around. Having a bar there is very convenient in case you need a drink or something to eat and don’t feel like going out.

I hate that the blankets were SO SMALL, as if it was a dog blanket. Rooms were cold. Also the towels change thing doesn’t make sense to me. There is a room cleaning service, so why do we have to go all the way down to the reception to get clean towels? And if you’re traveling with big luggage, you should know that there are a few stairs. Last but not least, there were some renovations going on there and we had to change rooms because of it, which is fine, but the floor we moved to had JUST been renovated, so the smell of paint and dust and all that was really an inconvenience.

I was in the Pods and I liked them , they were so clean , they give you fresh towels and you can change them anytime you want , they always come to change the sheets. The showers are clean. Just exceptional.

My name is AJ from Malaysia. I recently stayed here in this wonderful establishment which I found the very last minute upon landing in Cape Town. I like the atmosphere there.. From the moment you walk in you were greeted with the warmest smiles from the reception. The whole reception team was outstanding, I was attended by Joshua when I arrived on 20th May and I just booked for 1 week and that 1 week turned to 1 ½ month and what was a guest and staff relationship turned into friends and even family. Just to name a few receptionist that is super friendly, Joshua, Chad, Bryan, Lukhanyo, Zenende, Buhle, Shepert and Kofi. The hostel is very well managed, the GM Shaheen is always there and a very kind guy to offer assistance in more ways than one. The whole housekeeping staffs are also top notch friendly and I have travel the world never have I found a housekeeper that remembers your stuffs and keeps it for u or cleans ur bed every alternate or 3 days. Cleanliness at 91 Boutique hostel is top notch and those lame piss smelling backpacker hostels in Europe really need to learn from these guys coz they really mean business. Their communal areas are also well kept and maintained which gives is the confidence. The only thing that I find a little bit of an issue is the breakfast menu that the side bar offers. Though after speaking to the receptionist I later found out that the bar has a different management and isn't the same as the hotel one. They have limited selection of menu for breakfast (4 menus) in which I believe is essential to lure more people to stay at 91 Boutique hostel. The price is quite OK for me R60 for 1 breakfast meal considering they provide free flow coffee and juices from 6.30am - 10am every day. All in all my stay was splendid and I would highly recommend this place if anyone ever visits Cape Town.

The limited selection of breakfast menu and also lack of halal option. The fact that it serves pork doesn't bothers me but it should also have wider range of halal option. Especially for breakfast.

I didn’t have breakfast however I appreciated the free coffee for the 2 mornings I was there. I booked here in 2022 and it was very basic. I love how the place has now been revamped so it’s aesthetically pleasing. The vibe is very nice here and the people and staff are incredibly friendly. I met so many people from difficult parts of the world and they were all so nice to me. My stay was very comfortable because of these factors.

The fact that housekeeping isn’t daily. There is no mop to wipe the floors after showering. Too many stairs especially if one is carrying a lot of luggage. The fact that I got placed in a room that is mixed so it’s male and female. I was was concerned more about the hygiene but I guess I get what I paid for and what I could afford. There is no air conditioning. Room was incredibly cold. Only got 1 blanket even though the room was incredibly cold.

Second time here, but this time they gave me a free upgrade! It's located on Loop Street, right close to Greenmarket Square and Long Street

The hostel is currently undergoing renovations, so there was a slight paint smell that might bother some people. Apart from that, everything was great
