L’emplacement de cette maison se trouve dans l’enceinte de temple bouddhiste, c’est très verdoyant tout en étant proche du centre ville environ 10 minutes. Vous trouverez des restaurants des commerces juste au bout de l’allée. La maison est décorée avec goût et très propre.Sokphea, son frère et sa fille ont tout fait pour nous permettre de passer un merveilleux moment, ils nous ont aidé à organiser nos visites nos soirées spectacles et aussi nos tickets de bus pour continuer notre voyage. Sans oublier les fruits et smoothies offerts gracieusement tous les jours, un vrai régale ! C’est vraiment des personnes très sympathiques et même exceptionnelles ! Je recommande vivement cette adresse à tous ! Un grand Merci je reviendrai sans hésiter

Excellent location. Rooms delightful. Pool was refreshing and beautiful. Sokphea, her staff and her brother were so kind and extremely helpful and accomodating.

Everything was perfect. The rooms were very comfortable, and the hotel is located in a courtyard behind a pagoda, which makes the place very calm and relaxing. Sokphea and her family were extremely kind and truly did their best to make our stay as easy and pleasant as possible. I highly recommend this place, it’s really rare to experience this kind of warm welcome nowadays!

Such a charming place. Sophea was wonderful. She hoped organize drivers and with anything we needed. Comfy bed and very nice bathroom. There was even a pool nearby for use if wanted. Loved this place.

Everything and everyone was great (staff, rooms, price)! Highly recommended place! Even got complimentary fruits and smoothies every day!

Jolie chambre spacieuse. Famille aux petits soins qui nous a finalement transférés dans la chambre lits jumeaux et a fait en sorte de pouvoir coller les lits pour que nous y soyons mieux avec le bébé, moyennant un petit supplément. Salle de bain petite mais fonctionnelle. Petites attentions de fin de journée avec un jus frais ou des fruits très appréciables, ainsi que la piscine à proximité pour se rafraîchir après de longues journées de visite. Proche du centre, 15/20 min à pied et facile en tuk-tuk également.

Ne fait pas le petit-déjeuner, mais nous avons trouvé le bayon coffee shop à 5 min à pied où l'on peut trouver de super viennoiseries, meilleures qu'en France.

L’accueil de Sokphea : son sens du service (elle s’est démené pour nous trouver un scooter à louer en plein water festival) et les attentions de chaque jour (fruits et jus de fruit offert au goûter) La piscine : un délice après une journée de visites d’Angkor

The perfect stay in Siem Reap. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location. And the room exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend this place to others!

This hotel has loads of charm but not more than the host. She is a lovely woman who will take great care of you. It is located in a quite temple village just off the main road. It's at the top of Taphul Road, where you will find some of the best spots for breakfast. Her brother's place next door has a refreshing pool. Her sister and brother in law will come and provide manicures, pedicures, and massages. Enjoy.

Just such nice people running the house, very clean and beds are nice. Location is also great! Definitely would book again.

Could not pay with creditcard but that’s a very minor issue (atm is across the street)

The host and family were friendly & kind. Upon arrival we were greeted with yummy mango shakes. They also gave us a basket of fruit. The room was a great size, the bed was really comfortable. The tv had Netflix and YouTube. The bathroom was large and the shower had plenty of hot water. My boyfriend ended up getting sick and it was no problem to add two extra nights onto our stay. The host checked up on us several times to make sure he was doing okay. Overall, I would definitely stay at this property again!

The room was fantastic, the wood and the layout was really great with a fantastic bathroom. You could feel instantaneously the effort put into it.

The atmosphere, the people, the accomodations

The room was beautiful and comfy, great location near the main road, so you can easily go to the restaurant or shop.

The staff almost didn’t speak English

The property was clean and in a good location. There was a problem with the a/c but the owner for it quickly. The neighborhood dogs like to bark throughout the night.

The hosts were so friendly and was as accommodating as possible.

The AC didn't work well. There were multiple power outages. The pool was not on the premises and the pool that was "nearby" was uncomfortably filled with chlorine (bleached my swimsuit!).

We loved the hospitality and familiar atmosphere with our host at Maison Model! Also, the location very close to a Buddhist temple was exceptional.

This place is gorgeous. Everything smells so fresh … the linen, the towels and the curtains. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. The decor was inspiring and homely. Would definitely stay again.

It was advertised as having a pool but it was 2 doors down at another home stay. A little hard to find at night but once you find it there is no problem, it’s actually great that it’s off the main road.

Everything! The room was spacious, air conditioned. And the bed were really comfortable. The room is maintained so well, and the best welcome tea I’ve had in Siem reap. The owners and staff were so warm and kind. If I had known that this place is so nice, I would have stayed only here. The photos on the booking.com don’t show well how nice there is! The location is just right behind of the local temple, it makes even more interesting to stay here.

The place was cozy and clean with beautiful interior. Sokphea was very helpful and kind, she helped us with contacting the best tour guide and reliable transportation. The drivers, whether it be for tuktuks or normal cars are all friendly. We had a wonderful trip and understood more about Cambodia and its people. Surely when we return we will stay here again, and will recommend it to everyone.

Staff was very nice and the room was very nicely decorated. The owner Sofie is knowledgeable about the area and can make good coffee!

Sokphea, is an amazing host that goes above and beyond to take care of her guests. She offered us fresh fruit every morning at no addition charge and made us great coffee with her espresso machine. We had a great stay and the hotel was very comfortable and clean. Plus the location is just behind a temple which adds to the charm. Highly recommend Maison Model d'Angkor and would happily stay there again.

I loved the hotel. Everything clean and comfy! The house is cute with a lot of plants. But mostly I liked the host Sokphea! She was always very nice, helpful and accommodating. Thank you Sokphea :)

loved where it was behind a temple .homely for a solo show traveller....really kind host and loved the temple dogs and kids playing as you walked back to your accommodation .it was like a home ..very special place .

not much I didn't like .if you like completel peace and quiet maybe it's not for you but I found dogs and the family noise comforting ..

It is a lovely place, located on a temple complex, close to the center of Siem Reap. The room was lovely, with a lot of eye for detail. A nice bathroom, comfortable beds and good airco. Also the staff is really responsive and happy to help.

Perfect location to explore the temples, and a lovely place to rest. The place has personality in the decoration, very traditional, and cute. The pool and the room wonderful. Friendly staff that will help you with everything you need, they have all the information needed. Air conditioning works very well. Definitely we would repeat one day! 10/10

Like an home-stay. Very kind hospitality. Good location: central and calm, and at 10 minutes from Pub Street and many restaurants and at 2 minutes from a very nice bakery (Bayon pastry school). Relaxing and refreshing Swimmingpool at the hotel nearby (same family). Hotel provide a tuk tuk service from the airport on arrival (we had an elegant, punctual and very nice driver): you can ask to drive you at the Angkor Wat archeological area the next day!

The staff are amazing. They go out of their way to answer questions, help with tours and help in any way.

Lovely place. Traditional Khmer wooden house, situated right behind a temple. The owner made me feel very welcome and nothing I asked for while I was there was too much trouble. There were other guests (a few), but I felt almost like I was staying with a local family.

It is a traditional house, really authentic...very well renovated. The decoration is full of nice details. Very homy and confortable. The owner is really sweet and helpful.

Host sokphea was amazing, kind and went out her way to help with booking trips ,laundry & even provided a coffee for my departure, she is genuinely lovely ! Room was immaculately clean, comfortable, great shower and lovely traditional decor. She showed me the other family rooms which were also amazing. So quiet at night and set within a fantastic temple complex.

I loved the interior, it had a beautiful homey vibe with a Cambodian folk flare, and the shower was incredible, also the staff were very friendly and seemingly had my best interest in mind, and they made many attempts and efforts to assist me and make me feel comfortable

-the air conditioner was old and although I turned it all the way to the lowest temp (highest cooling setting) it kept the room at around 23 degrees c, or 74, and the ceiling fan only had 3 settings: low, slow, and is that on or just spinning off? -the toilet booty sprayer had no pressure so basically just got your butt very wet in addition to whatever else was on it -the worst part was that the room had 2-4 centimeter 1-2 inch cracks in all the corners and panels so mosquitos would float on in like ghosts in the night, and there’s no mosquito netting and like I said, the fan was only able to go to low so not strong enough to deter mosquito landings—after 4 days I came away with 22 mosquito bites and I killed about 15 mosquitos each day inside the room. -the only other thing that I didn’t like was the owner took me out for drinks and ktv, and said it would only cost (ktv) around $40 not including the price of extracurricular activities, which there weren’t any of, but the ktv price I paid ended up being $87 even though it was supposed to be a homie hookup by one of his friends, and one of his staff and their friend showed up to eat and drink half way through and I only ordered 1 dish to eat which was shared by everyone and that was one of three dishes I ate out of eight. So I think he basically used me to enjoy a night out, to some degree, although he also was very friendly and forthright in conversation so it may have just been a bit of a misunderstanding, but either way since I had never gone out this way and he invited me he should have corrected any extra expenses instead of having me pay for them, since it was his idea and his friends ktv place that we went to, and he brought two guests who both ate and drank.

The family who run the homestay are ever so friendly and kind. We arrived very early from a night bus and the Guesthouse tried to make our room ready extra early for us so we could check in and rest. Our room was a great size, nice, hot shower and beautiful traditional Khmer building. A good location, not far from Pub street, restaurants etc. It was nice to walk through the small temple complex to get to the guesthouse.

I agree with other reviews - the only issue was the mosquitoes :( We would still stay here again and recommend Also - no pool/water feature as shown in photos in booking.com but that didn't bother us

The location was excellent, close to everything, very convenient but tucked away behind a temple. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was spotless, room was a decent size and the beds were exceptionally comfortable.
