Easy parking with a free parking ticket. We had an accessible room which was fantastic and more than meet our needs. The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful people we have dealt with in any hotel. They could not have done more. We would definitely stay again

Great location in the centre of Tintagel. Excellent evening meals but the breakfasts were a disappointment - undercooked black pudding and bacon and much too cool!

Staff seemed annoyed for our arrival as if we were putting them out. Wifi never worked. Mattresses were so bad as if we were sleeping on the coils. Bathroom had very musty smell and a continuous leak. Night shade over glass window door never worked. Would snap up whenever we tried to close to block parking lot lights. Bright green light atop door (and in bathroom) was so bright it disturbed our sleep. Only window was view of parking lot which or course they conveniently omit from their website pics. Positives: Decent breakfast and in-room tea/coffee service. Ample seating with couch and chair

I wanted to check in fast and visit an important attraction before they closed. The reception lady indicated that by law she had to check us in right away and show us the room. I asked if I could leave my bags in the lobby and check in after and she said, "If I did that she could not grantee she could check us in." because she would be too busy. I was thinking that she had no choice in the matter to do so and if I had arrived at 8pm she would have to check me in if she liked it or not. ??

Just one night this visit. Waiting for holiday cottage down the road. We have stayed many times here and has been constantly first class. Food is excellent and the staff always go out of there way to talk to us and make sure everything is good.

A lovely family run Inn, close to Tintagel Castle. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful while the local village is as quaint as it is beautiful.

Really disappointing- this is not a cosy pub getaway; it’s a huge pub with sterile rooms that stink of bleach on top/around it. The accommodation was fine in itself and the staff were friendly enough but live music shook the room until 11pm right underneath the bedroom and destroyed any prospect of rest. We couldn’t wait to leave and didn’t hang around for the free breakfast - we didn’t complain when there as there was clearly nothing anybody could do about it - one to avoid.

Lots of character but really well kept. Very comfortable with nice extra amenities in the room. Staff are great. Super food with fully stocked pub bar. Stayed in room above main pub and facing road but surprisingly quiet.

Wonderful reception from the staff and accommodating. The room was perfect for a family visit clean and spacious. The pub fare was superb! Will be glad to visit again sometime!

Although the room was a little small for a family of four plus our bags the kids slept soundly and that's all parents need. Everyone was kind, and helpful. We loved our stay and hope to be back to Tintgale again someday..

Nothing to dislike particularly and no complaints, was funny with separate bathroom toilet having it across the hall but all in all comfy bed tidy and kind and welcoming staff. So average score given as it it fits the booking.

Ein super niedliches Zimmer mit eigenem Bad über den Flur (Zimmer 9). Dafür gab es Hausschuhe und Bademäntel, sehr praktisch. Wir haben es als uriges Erlebnis genommen. Toller Ausblick auf die Alte Post, super schön. Leider dröhnten die Bässe der Musik bis Mitternacht, was den Aufenthalt etwas trübte. Ansonsten tolles Frühstück nach Wahl und super nettes Personal.

Great location Fun pub

We stayed in an annex room, number 1. This room had an extra bedroom and was very spacious. The bathroom was very nice with lots of towels. The tea/coffee tray in the room was by far the best we had seen in a very long time, not stingy like most places. The full English was amazing as was the service from the young lady that waited at our table. We had booked the Camelot Hotel but changed it after we read a few reviews. It's far from town and a bit dated with no breakfast included. The best location is definitely the King Aurther's Arms for your visit to Tintagel. 1 day is enough time to see pretty much everything!

The room was very clean lovely decor. Very quiet at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Second time we have stayed there extremely good.

The water from shower was too hot and there wasn't an option to reduce it.

All excellent, food was good quality but a little pricey, and our room was directly above the patio area and bit noisy. Generally very clean and good facilities, superb for visiting the castle.

Stayed many times since 2006. Always excellent staff and immaculate rooms. Good Great. Excellent choice of Beers and ciders etc. good parking.

Lovely, friendly pub! Great atmosphere. Lovely, friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable, with ensuite. Food was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Our second year of staying and will definitely be staying there next time we visit Tintagel.

Easy parking onsite. Very close to Tintagel sites. Lots of adorable shops nearby. Food at the Inn was terrific.

Overall a good place ample if not too much room for a single traveler hence most expensive of 5 inns on trip through Cornwall and Devon facilities in room very good however I don’t like it being detached from inn backing onto public car park if I was a single female definitely wouldn’t feel too safe.staff to me are very courteous however two occasions I witnessed animosity with customers.First impressions count maybe something that has to be looked at. Overall no complaints

Great, friendly, quick reception. Awesome service and massive servings. Room 9 a little strange with the separate shower/ toilet. Nice touch with the dressing gown and slippers. Great view of the old post office. A little noise from the pub but your above a pub, what do you expect. Great WiFi. Free parking next door.

Staff was very nice. Shower drain was stopped up and fan in the room made a loud noise. The double bed felt small, but we still overall enjoyed our stay. Food was excellent! Service was very nice, and we would stay here again, if we could get a little bit bigger bed. We thought the cleanliness of this facility went above and beyond!!

Very convient location in the town, next to large parking lot and parking included in room fee. Rooms are above a pub that serves tasty food and extensive beverages, plus you get to listen to the bass from the pub after you go up to your room. The breakfast was exceptional, cuppacino in place of coffee. My favority breakfast after 3 week of travel in England and 10 or so different inns.

A delightful and enjoyable stay.

The staff was very welcoming, kind and helpful. The property is average. The room was hot and we were unable to open the windows to let in some cool air. We had wet clothing and were unable to figure out how to use the heated towel racks. The sheets were a bit scratchy and the pillows very uncomfortable.

We had wonderful stay. Everyone was very helpful. Our room was lovely. The food was great: we came back for dinner on multiple occassions as well as lunch because of all the delicious options. It is the perfect location to easily explore the town, the hikes and the castle grounds.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Large spacious room and bathroom, clean, located in the center of town, ample parking, warm friendly staff, great food and drinks, highly recommended!

Absolutely great place to stay. Room was extremely clean, large, with two bedrooms. Large living area with electric fireplace. Linens clean and fluffy, beds comfortable. Sunny and spacious. Bathroom had a large shower with excellent water pressure. Breakfast was included at the pub. The pub serves great food, too, steak and ale pie was top notch. Parking is included with the price and is directly outside. They'll let you park before check-in and after check-out so you can explore the area. Tintagel Castle and Merlin's Cave are only a few minutes' walk away! You can also explore the town from here, lots of shops and restaurants. Brilliant place to stay and highly, highly recommended. We will stay again if in the area.

Very conveniently located in the heart of Tintagel with ample (free for guests) parking right next door. The room was clean with very comfy beds. The (in our case included) breakfast was plentiful with free coffee refills (a nice touch) though the sausages were best avoided (generic pub meat tubes). We also had dinner (only guests can pre-book a table) which was very tasty if (subjectively) slightly overpriced. The only real complaint was the lack of hot water. Returning from a glorious if damp autumn walk, a hot shower is something of a necessity. Finding no hot water at 5pm, we queried with the staff and a booster was put on with a somewhat resigned response that "lots of people must have been having a bath at the same time". 2 hours later and it was still cold. It was warmer by 10pm but the next morning (7:45) it was cold again, pointing to a system that simply isn't fit for purpose. As such, given that country romps are such a key attraction to this beautiful neck of the world, it's hard to recommend an establishment that can't offer guests hot water and handles the issue as beyond their control. A pity as the place has much going for it.

Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was done on the cheap and the coffee left a lot to be desired. Staff seemed nice although some of them gave the impression of not happy at having to ‘put on a smiling face’. Place is located centrally with plenty of shops and walks around.

Great stay. Very spacious room and bathroom. Refurbished to a high standard. Tasty breakfast.

Safe to leave the door opened while I was in my room. Smelly toilet. This was the main reason I had to keep all the doors opened.

Lovely room (double with two singles) overlooking the Old Post Office. The pub sign did squeak all through the night as it was quite windy. Very clean and felt Covid rules well adhered to.

A nice relaxing stay, Annex room was spacious and quiet, lovely central location with easy access to shops and walks. Pub was excellent, great staff and food and drink aplenty. Lovely cocktails.

We booked for 5 nights and was told check in 5pm and check out 10am very late in and early out and that during the 5 days there would be no housekeeping service because of Covid 19. We understood this but it was no logic as other hotels, inn , b&b in the area where providing the service. We had to ask for someone to empty the bin and for clean towels and during 5 days we were never offered a change of linen. The annexes are spacious and clean however it was like your room was in the main town car park the noise level was incredible and our bathroom was connected to the kitchen so we could hear the conversations fully. On our last day I called and asked if we could have an extension on the check out time from 10 to 11am and was told the maximum they could offer was till 10:30. Very inflexible and shocking to think we were guest for 5 nights and it takes them from 10 to 5pm to clean 14 room really. Overall the team in the inn specifically Rach and Monika were fabulous and very friendly organized and made our stay. When they were not on duty it was rather chaotic, disorganized and very poor service. Overall we were rather disappointed with our experience so sorry..

Room was spacious and clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately the shower wasn’t working but this was quickly resolved by the owners even though it was late at night Breakfast was good and well organised Overall a good stay

This was our third stay at the kings arms and every time as been excellent. The staff are so a friendly and the rooms so comfortable. The food is excellent value for money and a fantastic breakfast included in the price and the bonus of free parking.

Great few days spent here. Large room with very large shower en-suite. Had everything we needed in the room. Extremely clean. Very comfortable bed. Good choice of teas and coffees in room with offer of a jug of fresh milk if we didn't like the UHT milk sachets. Very quiet location at night. Very handy for Tintagel Castle and SW Coastal Path. Free parking. Wi-fi was a bit disappointing - very weak/non-existent signal in room. Good food menu for evenings & good value. Fast table service. All friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast

The room was spotless, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The Inn is situated in the middle of town next to the public car park which is free if you are staying at the hotel. It is a stones throw from the entrance to the site at Tintagel. A good selection of food. All in all a good choice.

We had an annexe suite and it was lovely. It was clean and comfortable and very big.

Excellent location right in the centre of Tintagel with very friendly staff. The accommodation is next to a busy car park but this is because of its central location and didn’t bother us.

All staff were amazingly friendly, hard working, and made our stay perfect. Food was very good, we ate all our meals at the pub. Room was comfortable and clean, with plenty of space.

Very helpful and welcoming staff made sure we were well looked after. Breakfast was a late start - not available until 9am. This hindered our start as we were walking the SWCP and would have liked to start walking at 9. Overall a convenient place to stay.

En suite was out of our room and could be accessed by anyone, wasn’t lockable. Choir practice tomorrow every Tuesday 10pm till 11.30 pm making sleep impossible till they had finished. Safe was not useable

This is a neat old property which lots of charm and coziness to it. The room was neat, the staff very helpful and the dining room was great.

Our experienced was spoilt by a group of nen singing til late right under neath our room on a Tuesday night. When we complained we were rudely told "this always happens on Tuesday". Guests should be told about this before checking in.

Excellent stay. The 3 bedroom suite was huge!

Loved that this spot was near the old post office building, and that we could park onsite. On the main road in little Tintagel.

Staying out of season we were upgraded to a larger room with views of the old post office. No complaints. Cheerful staff at breakfast and the parking permit was made use of as it seems the pub owns the main car park. Decent beer selection on the premises.
