Der perfekte Zufluchtsort mitten im Großstadtdschungel. 🌿🏙️ Unsere Unterkunft, das The Raweekanlaya, stammt aus den 1800er-Jahren und war früher das Wohnhaus der Erzieherin der thailändischen Königsfamilie. Das Gebäude ist im alten Kolonialstil gebaut und hat im Innenhof einen riesigen, über 120 Jahre alten Banyan-Baum. Ein richtig schöner, ruhiger Ort mitten in Bangkok

Alles war wunderbar und hat uns sehr gut gefallen – auch die perfekte Lage des Hotels. Wir haben uns als Familie von der ersten Minute an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Der wunderschöne Pool liegt unter alten Bäumen und unter einem herrlichen Jasminbaum, der angenehmen Schatten spendet. Das Wasser war herrlich erfrischend und angenehm kühl. Auch das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich und ließ keine Wünsche offen: köstliche Thai-Gerichte, Eier in allen Variationen, guter Kaffee sowie frisches Obst und Gemüse – einfach alles, was man sich für ein gelungenes Frühstück wünschen kann

Lage sehr gut. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Schöner Garten.

Bilder täuschen über tatsächliche Größe des Gartens und des Pools (der 1,20 tief und vielleicht 3x4 m ist). Zimmer sehr klein, mit Zustellbett so voll, dass sich Lamellen vor Fenster nicht mehr öffnen ließen (de facto also kein Fenster). Wir haben umgebucht zu Gartenlage, was aber 500 THB extra pro Nacht gekostet hat. Auch dort Zimmer klein. Zustellbett kostet extra. Schönes, zentrales Hotel (etwas Straßenlärm), aber keine fünf Sterne.

Een groene oase van rust in de stad. Mooie kamers. Lekker ontbijtbuffet. Met de watertaxi (op 7 min stappen) kan je de stad efficiënt en snel bezoeken. Aangenaam (klein) zwembadje. Professioneel personeel (niet zo hartelijk maar wel correct).

The property was within walking distance to Khaosan Road, but as we needed to waste time at the mall, we were a little bit further out on our next step to Bangkok. I would book somewhere more central. The hotel was great. The restaurant was amazing. We had the most amazing massaman curry there.

leider insgesamt nicht stimmiges konzept - pool ist sehr klein, zimmer sind dunkel und nicht gut gelegen in der anlage. wir haben direkt unsere buchung wieder storniert. es gibt so viele tolle hotels in bangkok- dieses hat uns leider so gar nicht gefallen! sicher geeignet für veranstaltungen wie hochzeiten etc. aber nicht als touristen übernachtung. das personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend!

Piscina este un vis . Ziua este umbrita de palmieri , iar copiii pot petrece timp acolo chiar in mijlocul zilei , fără risc de insolatie . Camerele foarte curate . Hotelul tip boutique extrordinar . Mergeți la el cu toată increderea - este un vis thailandez adevărat . Grădina superbă . Nu simți ca ești printre Betoane in mijlocul unui oraș sufocant de cladiri inalte .

Excellent staff. Great food. Resort filled with trees and lot of greenery around. We stayed with our family to celebrate my husband’s birthday and they made sure we enjoyed to the fullest. They even kept some sweets and did decoration on the bed to make us feel special.

Verlichting in de badkamer niet handig voor dames die make up willen aanbrengen.

Es war jetzt das dritte Mal, dass wir in dieser Oase in der Stadt übernachtet haben. Jedes Mal wenn wir nach Bangkok kommen übernachten wir in diesem schönen Hotel. Beim ersten Mal unabsichtlich das Zimmer ohne Fenster gebucht, dieses mal absichtlich, da es sehr schön ruhig ist in dem Zimmer.

Seit neuem gibt es ein Rauchverbot am Pool über das wir nicht sehr erfreut waren... Ich hoffe es wird bis zum nächsten Mal aufgehoben...

I stayed at The Raweekanlaya Bangkok Wellness Cuisine Resort for three nights from late March to early April 2026. I chose this hotel because it had been recommended to me by a travel agency as a “wellness hotel.” Having stayed at wellness-oriented boutique hotels across Asia, I was expecting a quiet and relaxing environment. Originally, I had booked an Executive Room facing the road and canal. However, upon check-in, the hotel informed me that the road-side rooms could be noisy and that I had therefore been upgraded to a Deluxe Room in a quieter location. Unfortunately, the room I was actually assigned was located close to the restaurant circulation area and kitchen operations. The sounds of dishes, people passing by, and staff activities were clearly audible. Shortly after entering the room, I requested a room change due to the noise. The hotel later acknowledged this noise issue in subsequent email correspondence. In addition, the first room felt extremely enclosed to me. At the time, I perceived it as a space where I could hardly recognize the presence of any window opening to the outside. In fact, on the day of check-in, I exchanged messages with my travel agent through LINE (a widely used messaging application in Japan). In those messages, I wrote that “the new room was much better because it had a window.” This was not a statement created later for the purpose of a complaint; it was a real-time message sent on the day of check-in. It shows how I perceived the first room at that time. After returning home, I contacted the hotel to ask why a room near the restaurant and kitchen area had been presented as a “quieter upgrade,” and I also requested a detailed explanation regarding the first room. The hotel subsequently sent me photographs of the room. Those photographs showed a large curtained opening. If such a large window or glass opening had in fact been present as shown in the photographs, it would normally be difficult not to notice it upon entering the room. This created a significant discrepancy between my actual experience and the real-time message I had sent to my travel agent on the day of check-in. Because of this discrepancy, I requested a floor plan, which the hotel promptly provided. I then asked a friend of mine, who is an architect, to review both the photographs and the floor plan. According to his assessment, there appeared to be differences between the opening structures shown in the photographs and those shown on the floor plan, making it difficult to conclude that the two fully matched. He also commented that if a room truly contained an opening as large as the one shown in the photographs, it would actually be difficult for a guest to perceive the room as having no window. I therefore asked the hotel to explain why such a significant discrepancy existed between my actual experience and the photographs and floor plan provided later by the hotel. I received no reply. I then sent the hotel a summary of our correspondence to date, together with an English translation of the real-time LINE messages exchanged on the day of check-in, and escalated the matter to the General Manager. I received no response. Some members of the staff were kind and helpful, and the room I was moved to was quieter than the first one. Nevertheless, for a property that promotes itself as a wellness-oriented and tranquil retreat, I was left with serious concerns regarding both the initial room assignment and the explanations provided afterward. Based on my stay, I felt that the property functioned more as a venue for weddings and events than as a true wellness resort. I am leaving this record for the benefit of future guests, particularly those who place a high value on tranquility and a genuine wellness environment. The photographs and floor plans attached to this review were provided by the hotel itself.

Attention les chambres premier prix même dans un hôtel 5 étoiles ne méritent qu’une seule étoile elle sont le long de la route ce qui dénote avec l’arrivée dans le lobby et le parc et la piscine qui sont splendide.

Literally like coming into an oasis from the noisy city. My partner and I came from Koh Samui and Koh Phangan and it felt like we never left the islands, absolutely tranquil. Great service from staff also. Plus the small things like a comfy bed, two full length mirrors, toiletries kit etc.

We stayed at this hotel twice. The first time we had a more comfortable and spacious room, the second time we got a smaller and cheaper room, but my husband loved that hotel. The location and the tranquility. The breakfast doesn't have many options but it's ideal to start the day. The pool is small, so it's not a good option for those who like to swim.

The second room that we stayed did'nt have a window but I knew it when I booked.

I've booked the room without window and I though it would be claustrophobic but it was ok, big and with silent condition air. As I did not have window, there were not noises from the busy street

I've made the reservation by mistake in this hotel (similar names) and I have asked 5 minutes after that for free cancellation or just to stay one night . They told me I would be charged the entire amount on the stay (4 nights). People in the corridor started to yell at 5am, little attention by the staff on that aspect. I've taken the breakfast only once, it was not worth the 320 bahts (mainly sweet stuffs). There is very little light in the bathroom and in the room in general Definitely not a 5stars hotel

I have stayed here 4 times now. It is a magic little oasis in the city, with a nice pool and cool garden, but if you step outside of the resort there is endless interest, temples, and some of the best street food anywhere. Including a night market along the canal on weekends. I just love this place.

Rooms are basic but very adequate - and with huge beds.

Schoon verblijf en vriendelijk personeel. Ondanks aan de hoofdweg toch geen enkel geluid van die kant gehoord. Lekker klein zwembadje. Ruime kamers met stevige bedden die heerlijk lagen. Ligging aan het water waardoor je ook de boot door Bangkok kunt nemen.

Ontbijt was lekker maar weinig keus. Je kon wel vragen voor kaas of een ei. Het extra bed was wel heel hard en niet echt comfortabel voor mijn zoon.

Everything! Wonderful location staff are extremely helpful and work hard to keep the hotel running efficiently. The grounds are amazing, very green and full of life. Rooms are comfy and spacious, we had the jacuzzi suit.

I stayed at the Hotel Park Plaza Waterloo for four nights. When I entered the room, the air didn’t feel very fresh. The room doesn’t have windows that open. In the bathroom, I found long black hairs on the floor and in the shower. I mentioned this to reception, but two days later the hairs were still there. On the third day, someone came in and changed the towels but didn’t remove the hairs from the shower. When I left, it was still there. Honestly, nothing like this has ever happened to me before, and I paid around €290 per night. This is a two-star hotel with four-star prices. I made a complaint and, as an apology, the management offered me the following options: “VIP cleaning service for the duration of your stay” So does this hotel actually have a VIP cleaning service????? ‘Free toiletries’ But that’s standard in all hotels, even two-star ones! And other trivial things. This was my experience in London at the Park Plaza Waterloo Hotel. I certainly won’t be going back there. Best regards

La struttura è un oasi di pace al centro del quartiere storico di Bangkok! Struttura pulita e curata con personale disponibile. Il punto forte è il giardino con piscina in cui è possibile rilassarsi qualche ora tra una passeggiata e l’altra!

Unica nota negativa, alcune stanze danno su una strada rumorosa. L’isolamento è buono, ma se avete sonno leggero, qualche rumore potrebbe svegliarvi!

Gartenmöber vollig verdreckt mit Vogelkot. Pool überclort, der Geruch ist unangenehm. Überall auch im Garten wird stetig Musik gespielt. Restaurant nicht der Rede Wert. Angebote völlig überteuert. Fenster völlig verdreckt. Betten viel zu weich.
