After trying to stay at two other US-branded hotels in Wuhan and deciding to leave each, I can say with near certainty that the Hilton Garden Inn Wuhan Hankou is by far the best hotel in Wuhan for a typical traveler from North America, Europe or perhaps anywhere. It is very new. It is very, very clean. The rooms are good sized and the décor, furnishings, and fixtures are all modern and appropriate. The beds are wonderful!! Staff are efficient, pleasant and eager to be of assistance. This is true for the front desk, housekeeping and certainly the dining-room staff. English is commonly spoken, The breakfasts, while not what would be served in the USA, would in this Midwesterner’s opinion certainly be acceptable to any traveler from North America or Europe, or from anywhere else for that matter. The location is not inconvenient. It is close to the train station and downtown and the extreme low cost of taxi or car service makes the use of them a no-brainer. Our advice is for you to save the headaches we encountered at the “other places”! We HIGLY recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Wuhan Hankou!

Guests who require a quiet environment should be cautious, as even rooms on the opposite side are affected by the noise from the air conditioning, which will shock you. If you set it to the first level, it may seem quiet, but I must warn you—this is an illusion. The first level of the air conditioning does not cool at all. The issues with this hotel don’t stop at the air conditioning. The refrigerator is also fake and doesn’t cool. When asked why, the response was that the hotel refrigerators don’t have compressors. Seriously? Please don’t insult guests’ intelligence—a hotel refrigerator that only cools to 20 degrees Celsius? The bathroom facilities are even more deceptive. The exhaust fan has a switch but isn’t actually installed, so socks take two days to dry after washing. The shower has two showerheads, one large and one small, but the larger one is purely decorative and cannot be switched to. With hundreds of rooms across more than ten floors, the hotel only provides two washing machines, causing guests to queue until past 11 p.m. to do laundry. Additionally, the hotel elevators do not require key card access, posing significant security risks. It’s hard to believe this is part of the Hilton brand.

The receptionist is good. The room is clean and new. There are no restaurants around the hotel, so you have to walk far. Near the park, can go for a walk. The internet is not very fast and is affected by China's security system.

We had a last minute change of plan and needed to transit through Wuhan onto another destination. Doris (WeChat - DorisWQ0626) was fantastic before and after we arrived. She managed to arrange a takeaway breakfast for us as we were leaving early, met us on our arrival and made check in very smooth after a day of travelling. She was great! The robots used for room service were also very good.

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. This hotel is the worst compared to others at the same price level. 1 Air con is not working. The time I stayed in the hotel is the coldest time of the year. The hotel staff got me a portable heater which made the room extremely dry. 2 No hand washer. Couldn’t find hand washer in the bathroom. 3 dust covers the wardrobe. 4 breakfast sucks. Cold and hard food. 5 weak tv signal. 6 gym. Some rusted machines and a couple of treadmills which are just placed in the room for display. None of them literally works. 7 hot water. The supply of hot water isn’t stable. There’s no hot water sometimes which is really annoying in winter. I’ll never stay in the hotel again.

地理位置很好，交通便利，离三环近，去哪里都很方便。房间宽敞，床特别舒服，羽绒枕也很厚实。服务不错，提出的问题立即就有反馈。

机场到酒店很方便，15分钟就到了。前台妹妹挺热情的。房间很宽敞，落地窗，视野很开阔。床很舒服。酒店总体感觉挺不错。

在武汉中转，这家酒店去汉口火车站很方便，地铁一站路就到了。早餐在5楼，品种还算齐全，环境很不错，一排落地窗，有阳光晒着很舒服。

The hotel is clean and well maintained. It’s located in the quiet area so the eatings and public transportation require 15-20 minutes walk.

The room was generally clean. It was very quiet, with no air conditioner or traffic noise. The entire staff was pleasant, professional, and helpful. It is a little far from the center of the city, but the subway, public bus and taxi are convenient. There is also a good restaurant close by. Most of the breakfast items we had were cold (during the Chinese National Holiday), but we found out the reason in the last few days of our stay, when more guests came in and we started having warm food. We will consider using this hotel for our next trip.

Took forever to check in , and even longer to check out , staff did not speak Simple English , and couldn’t figure out how to run my Visa card for payment,, room was nice and location was good , but if you’re going to check out give yourself a 1/2 hour, more if there is anyone else checking out

Mercure Wuhan Changqing Park is a very nice and comfortable hotel!!!! It’s quite near the airport. Just 20 minutes spent. The service is good. I really enjoy the wuhan style breakfast, the noodles is memorable.

Good location and management. It’s very close to public transportation.

All staff was extremely helpful and competent. Breakfast was fresh and healthy. My only complaint is that their hot water is warm. I like to take hot showers and that's not an option here.

The Hotel is well. Rooms are good. service good. Staff very friendly and if you have an problem they help you as much as they can. Restaurant very well , they have mix of Chinese and western food.. One thing wasn't good: there are no Child bed available.

The Mercure hotel is close to a direct subway line to the airport, which is useful for short visits. The hotel is modern and features everything you would expect from an internationally branded hotel, however, it still has smoking floors - you need to ask at check-in for a non-smoking room. Only few staff in the hotel speak English. Walking from the subway station to the hotel takes less than 10 minutes - take exit number A, turn right and walk along 3rd Chang Qing Road and you will see the Mercure sign of the hotel.

First time staying in this hotel on the outskirts of Wuhan but on the airport side so the journey is around 40min from the airport to the Hotel The rooms are of a good standard and the bed comfortable. However there is some road noise during the night so if you are a light sleeper you may have issues. Internet speed when I stayed was lousy Abd the level of English spoken by staff was poor. Stayed 15 to 19 Sept 16. Hotel room newly furbished . Room Aircond which was set to 16 and fan at max 3 feels like 24 Celsius. Notice people in Wuhan don't like cool temperature in shopping complexes, theatre, museum etc. The cleaner of our room surprised us by leaving us and a friend in the same hotel notes on out of ordinary findings. In my case a unfinished glass of wine and my friend a comment on their neatness of beddings. . In China Google map, gmail and Uber doesn't work. Download Baidu map and "didi" or 滴滴打车 before you go to China. Playstore doesn't work in China. You can also download QQmail to link and read your Gmaiand yahoo mail.

First of all, it took us 10 minutes to walk from the metro station at fast pace, around 1km distance and some might call it "nearby" but I am not here to judge. The decor of the lobby was very modern and looked brand-new. The room and the bathroom were spacious, bedding was adequate. The room could get really dusty as it was located on a wide local highway with trucks passing by frequently. The real problem was the water. One night when we came back to the hotel at around 1am from sightseeing and in need of a shower, but we found that there were no hot water and the tap water turned brownish all of a sudden. We were informed that there were issues with the hot water supply and the water pipe, and it won't be fixed until the next morning. I understand that there was nothing much the staff could do but the hardware of this hotel really needs an upgrade. Except these hardware malfunctions, the service was generally great and the restaurant served very delicious Chinese food.

Good location, nearby with metro station and Wuhan Garden EXPO. Bed is comfert, and staff is hospitality. Beautiful restaurant with good buffet breakfast. Bellman help us call a taxi to airport, and just 20 minutes to arrive Tian He airport.
