Loved this hotel ' neat breakfast is great as well as service perfect location

Not a Marriot name worthy. Got a smoking room. Why? I never asked for this. Even the rooms have signs it is forbidden to smoke. When I asked for another room all rooms were booked. It mentioned it has a bar. This is not the case. Only for a coffee in the lobby. No room service available after 9 PM. It does bit reflect the score on booking.

The breakfast was very good

The aircon didn't work, the room was over heated and stuffy. They shifted us and it was slightly better in the next room.

if have shuttle bus to ZhengZhou East Railway station will be prefect and the lobby of the hotel is a bit small and the hotel amenities is very limited.

Alina Yang at the breakfast restaurant was professional, friendly and was able to help us with all our choices of breakfast and how we like coffee! She was making such an effort with all customers that I just had to comment. The hotel is well located for business and access to the train.

Business trip 4 nights. Good hotel with reasonable room rates located in the new city. Clean, good service and friendly staff. Good experience. Didn't try the various restaurants but breakfast buffet was good. Numerous restaurants and convenience shops in the immediate vicinity.

Especially the front desk and restaurant staff who were so welcoming, polite, courteous and very helpful, particularly as my luggage did not arrive at the airport, and they helped me get it back in 24 hours. Housekeeping is excellent, with room being cleaned by polite staff every day. I loved this hotel.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the Zhengzhou east financial district. It is situated very close to the East train station and has 2 malls right next to it both offering very good food options. There are plenty of bars and places of eat around this hotel. The hotel restaurant itself is good with a decent variety of western food. The rooms were amazing. I had been upgraded to a business executive room for free for being a bonvoy memeber and the size of the room was huge. The housekeeping was also on point. The ambience of the hotel is like any other budget courtyard. Do not expect a crazy lobby or restaurants. You stay here for a good room but not for the hotel itself. It has basic facilities and thats it. There's also nothing to do around the hotel as such. If you want to stay closer to city life maybe you can stay near the Novotel or JW in the city.

Good central hotel to stay for the business traveler, close to shopping malls and losts of restaurants

Money taken. If you reserve a room. Then your mother in law dies, and you have big funeral problems. Expect to get Zero refund from this hotel.

I was in Zhengzhou for business. Unfortunately, I was caught in the recent movement in HK and mis connected my flight to zhengzhou. I was flew to haikou and onto zhengzhou without my luggage. I arrived the hotel extra late and the front desk staff was very helpful. They went beyond what I expected from a Courtyard and helped me to locate my luggage as the airline refused to help. Their staff even contacted Sheraton where I was staying the following day. I would totally go back and stay at this hotel again, not to mention that they are only 17 minutes train away from the airport and has a shopping mall next door. Food from their own restaurant was not bad either nicely presented and scrumptious.

Warm welcome in english, staff is nice and professionnal. Very fast check-in and chek out. Rooms are very big and confortable, breakfast was good. Despite a lot of traffic and ralway station not far, no noise and had a good sleep. I can recommend this hotel without problem.

Stayed 3 nights over Dragon boat festival. Room 1232 which is a suite with separate living room, walking in wardrobe and 2nd toilet.Nice room and facilities. Breakfast is quite repetitive with apparent no changes day to day. Executive lounge is one of the most basic been too Buffet its ok This is 2nd stay at this hotel so it's not bad. No swimming pool though. Railway station is 15 mins walk away Location is good with a local mall and dining, drinking area next door Respected a titanium member and recommend this hotel

I did stay just one day in this Very Nice Hotel during my business trip to China. Large and Very clean room with comfortable bed and beatyful panoramic view from the window to the city. Location is Exellent for Travellers, just few minutes from High-speed train Zhengzhou East Station. Top quality coffee in Lobby Bar downstairs.

I attended a conference here and stayed at the Courtyard for 3 nights. The hotel was extremely modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The buffet was plentiful and delicious. There is a mall next door that is relatively new so there are a number of eateries but very few shops. Definitely a hotel that I would recommend.

This very new hotel is well located and close to train station. Excellent breakfast and great choice. There is no atmosphere and as an irish man there is no bar so an Evening social drink not possible.

Hotel was very clean, very spacious room: shower cubicle was massive and waterfall shower was amazing!

Stayed over Qingmingjie, upgraded to Executive suite as Platinum member. Executive lounge closed due to holiday so offered evening buffet FOC which OK. Hotel located 10 mins walk to ZZ East Railway station. Recommend to stay

This hotel does have some english speaking staff ans is quite close to the Zhengzhou east highspeed Railway station, a 8 minute walk, The rooms are good, just a bit warm in the winter and behind the hotel there are some restaurants and a pub with english menu.

Stayed at this hotel several times I must say service getting better, especially Steven & Pearl at front desk, they always remember you, greeted you by name with smile and that makes you warm and happy. Room was clean, spacious, nice, and quiet. Staff at executive club and front desk was friendly. More choices of restaurant and coffee shops like Starbucks and Pacific Coffee only 3 mins walk from the hotel. One thing just don't understand is they doesn't offer knife and fork pair with fruit plate proactively, even you had mentioned before, they still forgot to check guest's preference. Nevertheless I would still recommend this hotel, good service, and good location to CBD and Zhengzhou East station.

Hotel is basically ok, not great . You can get better hotels at this price. For eating outside , there are not much choices . One of the better one was Magic Salad and Japanese cuisine.

Better look for another option at this price. Also better stay in city and you may catch subway to reach fast train station.

We traveled to Zhengzhou to adopt our 3 yr old son and stayed at the Courtyard Marriott for 3 days. Our stay was excellent. The hotel was very nice and accommodating. The room was very nice and the staff was outstanding. We speak zero Chinese so we did notice that almost of the staff spoke no English which made for a few difficult exchanges. We were hoping that sense it was a Marriott that things would be more English friendly. The hotel is also in a business district so there is little to no access to any stores or restaurants in the immediate area. We would definitely stay there again or recommend it.

There are several other International/Western hotel brands in Zhengzhou that offer a similar experience at lower prices. Just getting a pick-up from the airport or train station could cost as much or more than the room. The breakfast is also expensive and carries the same fare as other Western hotels in the area. The rooms are well decorated and the location is very convenient if arriving from the East Train Station. This is not a bad hotel, just overpriced for the area and lacking the service or amenities one might expect.

Perhaps my expectations were too high but the Courtyard offered nothing special to justify the higher price compared with other Western hotel brands in the area. I called to ask if they offered a shuttle service to/from the airport or train station but it would have cost more than our room price to get a pick-up from the airport and over 60% of our room price to get a pick-up from the East Train Station which is within 10 minutes walking distance of the hotel. I didn't expect transportation to be free, but the cost in proportion to our room cost was absurd. I also inquired about a special request for our room when booking and provided contact information but the staff never reached out to me about the request. The breakfast was okay, but again, quite typical for Western hotels in Zhengzhou. The room was probably the highlight. It was very clean and well decorated with an amazing shower (although the lack of a tub was disappointing). Overall, it wasn't a bad stay but given the price and costs of additional services, I would have a hard time recommending this hotel.

From the moment you walked in to the lobby, you can tell this is a very well maintained and clean hotel. The room we stayed in was very large, plenty of closet space, nice views and the best shower system I have ever seen in a hotel, rain shower with high water pressure.

As starters, it was a big relief to have a English speaking staff, not only at the reception but the housekeeping and restaurant. We checked in our Executive Rooms only around 10 pm. Those of you who've traveled to China would know that it's too late for expecting anything but sleep at the hour. To our Surprise they not only extended the restaurant timing for us but offered to make Vegetarian dinner out of the menu options. Shaun, the restaurant manager ensured we felt comfortable and welcome ensuring the correct food came to us. The stay was comfortable. The room was not only impeccable but had a well designed bathroom. Non-slippery Floor and grab bar, in shower area, being just a small thing but multiple raised ground level at the door avoiding water seeping outside. Embedded channel bordering the shower area to ensure water flows in predetermined direction only. Separate shelf for your cellphone and more But for the Executive Club which was the dampener for being like an abandoned place way before closing time, I would have given this hotel 5 stars. Located a few meters from the high speed train station is a recommended place and amongst the best hotels I have been in the last 20 years of traveling to China.

All was good except the room temperature...no less than 26 C even in winter. Temp controller did not work and windows could not be opened. Room was large, quiet and nice. Staff was well educated, most could speak English sufficiently. Good breakfast offered.

I had to stay in Zhengzhou for two weeks. My clients has a lot of out of town business people who come here, they didn't know which hotel was the best, people would tell me different hotels were the best, but no one stood out. I decided to try them all, I had the time. I tried almost all of the 5 star hotels and some of the 4 star hotels. I ended my search with this one, it was perfect, only the location is not, but it will be in the near future, it is the new section of Zhengzhou. My room was the size of a small apartment. The people and service here are impeccable.

I have stay at the JW in Zhengzhou, this place is better in every category. location, price, quality of food and service. not far from train station, starbucks across the street, nice VIP lounge, but limited service to evenings. breakfast is good, just overall a great experience.

The room is big with a living room attached, what you need is in the room. Room rate is including buffet breakfast but I don't really enjoy the breakfast, a lot more to improve. Hotel doesn't have a swimming pool is a bit of disappointing. We stayed for 4 nights, everything is good and we are satisfied.

The hotel Courtyard by Marriott Zhengzhou East with its 250 rooms was opened in September 2015. It is located in a new Office District with many vacant high-rise buildings. Its concept is that of an international hotel aiming at business travelers, as it can be found anywhere. Rooms with a size of 40 m2 are comfortably furnished and corresponding to a five-star standard. The over sized double bed is comfortable. The equipment consists of a desk with an ergonomic chair, a small seating area with a sofa and coffee table and a large flat screen TV with several Western channels. The free internet is fast and reliable. The bathroom is bright and clean; equipped with a shower cabin. Various toiletries are available. The breakfast is plentiful and of good quality. I arrived at 8:30 PM and disturbingly no food was any longer available. In addition, no room service was offered. The kitchen was closed. The bar was open, but no finger food is available. There no convenience stores in walking distance. The environment around the hotel is deserted. An international hotel such as the Courtyard should provide minimal F+B service. The staff of which most speak English, gave us a piece of paper for the taxi driver who brought us in a nearby district where restaurants are open until late. However, none of the restaurants had a menu in English The hotel has a well-equipped gym, but no pool. The location of the hotel is close to the Western Railway station. The trip to Beijing by bullet train takes 3 hours. The nearest Metro station is in 20 minutes walking distance.

Really nice hotel and great staff. The hotel is very new and the rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. The hotel was located in a newly developed business district and there isn't much to do nearby. However, taxis are cheap and the hotel can quickly and easily arrange one. The breakfast was pretty good too. I will definitely stay again.

nice property in terms of rooms (huge) amenities in room (usual but all nice and new) and friendly staff; fast wifi but....a Marriott with NO bar service, not even a beer in the lobby at 2100??? excuse "due to lack of guests our GM cuts the hours"" crap......and this place is like in the middle of nowhere, very hard to even get a taxi (15+ minute wait each time the bellboy called one) it IS, as advertised v convenient to the hispeed rail station and the metro; but that's it...otherwise isolated basically in a new business park with mainly empty buildings for 300m in each direction...
