The location was great, near the harbour, restaurants and a grocery store.

Cramped room. The toilet stall was so small that my 6ft 3in husband couldn't shut the door, and there was only 1 chair and 1 lamp on one side of the bed. All other lighting was overhead.

The smell in the room was so bad we had to buy air fresheners and that still did not work, if we could have found another place we would have. The smell of MUSTY wet carpets in the room and the walkways outside was just horrible, such that my luggage and clothing smelt like it when we left. We were told we were on the second floor but what the description failed to say was that the first floor is NOT on ground level and that you are actually have to walk up three flights to get to your room on slippery metal emergency steps. The bathroom door would not close properly got stuck on the floor. When we asked for extra coffee we were questioned as to why we needed it. The check in was not friendly at all.

we travelled with our Grandsons 14 1nd 16. they both loved this hotel the best of all the others that we stayed at. it is because they each had their own beds and the wifi worked great they said.

Small bedroom, small bathroom

The motel was delightfully cozy and incredibly clean. The room was ready immediately upon arrival and we felt at home right away. The location is perfect for enjoying a stroll on the nearby boardwalk, or heading out to the many sightseeing opportunities on the island. I would definitely come back next summer.

There was a toilet connecting both rooms and we have pass through the toilet to get into the other room which wasn’t a pleasant experience

When booking, I didn't realize it was no pets. I booked in, and then the owner realizes we had a dog and asked us to leave (understandablu) but then said we could stay if we paid $200 extra! Daylight robbery!We left. I need to say that when I looked for a booking before travelling, I asked for pet-friendly accomodation, and this motel was suggested. That's why we booked.

The room had everything we needed for one night. Check in and check out was smooth and there are some small shops around if you are short of food. There is a nice beach a short drive away.

Good location, and you could park in front of your room. The ice machine was super, suitable for a 10 storey hotel!

The smell of the room when we entered was not great. I guess it was the chemicals used for cleaning but it was off-putting. The bed was just ok, not great. Their shower booth was incredibly small! I think a stout person would not be able to fit inside. Our neighbouring guests all rode motorcycles and sat outside for hours.

Stairs to room were a death trap - made of steel and open - I’m not an expert but do not think those things are to code . Room had been partially renovated - plywood held up the bathroom sink.

during our stay, one of the guests had taken too many drugs and was talking to herself and babbling nonsense. the police were called and they took her away for the night. She was back the next morning to collect her stuff and leave.

My granddaughter slept underneath a very noisy air conditioner. We shared a bathroom with a very small shower and drapey shower curtain. A plus was that the clerk checked us in to a close by unit to the office for easy accessibility. Also there was a lovely park out the back with a cared for pool, hammock and wooden swings.

Improvements could be made on the bathroom facility and larger beds in the family bedroom.

I didn’t like that the bar soap and the shampoo is very little. It wasn’t enough, so please put more in.

The room was nice and clean. For being on the Main Street it was also very quiet. Very easy to walk downtown and close to some trails as well.

Nothing at all was disappointing. It’s a small motel but great for resting your head for a night.

Exactly what we needed - an hotel, clean, not too expensive, with enough space for our family (family room was 2 room with a shared bathroom) and a very welcoming staff !

There is nothing I didn't like really. The decoration is a bit old fashioned but I was expecting this so no surprise. Same for the location, it's by the road but it's a motel so clearly expected as well.

Loved the fluffy douvet. Clean sheets, did not smell of bleach.

This little motel was a perfect place for our needs. It is very clean with a comfortable bed and outfitted with a table and a chair (with outside chairs that can be moved in and out when an extra seat is required), a microwave, a coffee maker and a small fridge. It looks like it has been recently refurbished. The water is plentiful and very hot. The shower is good. Plus it is very reasonably priced. There is a large grocery store right next door.

Nothing that the hotel management can do about it but there is quite a lot of traffic on the road outside. This is not bothersome if you keep the windows closed.

The staff was very pleasant. The room had a fridge and microwave. Clean. If you have a hard time with stairs, make sure to ask for ground floor room.

TV too low to watch while in bed. Internet (WIFI) was spotty. And when getting ice, there was no scoop (not sanitary) if people take with their hands.

The motel could stand some substantial modernisation. There were two doors to enter our room, one at the front and one at the back. We locked both during our stay. At night, the front door blew open by itself twice - despite being locked. Not good at all.

The motel is adequate and reasonably clean. There was not much interaction between the host and us. It was a suitable place for a one night stay.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable. Also I stayed there when the Blue Jays won the ALDS game and they didn't have that channel available on the TV but that was not a big deal.

Everything was compact and adequate, quiet, clean. Coffee did not get replaced each day, but was available on request.

The room itself would have been fine if they opened the windows. It was really stuffy and musty. Overpriced for what it is. Additionally, they decided to charge 250$ deposit instead of 200$ in advance of arrival (outlined in their T&Cs) and demanded payment with threat on cancellation despite my reservation being booked as pay at hotel.

Convenient location to downtown and surrounding area. The family room was great for the 3 of us, as we each had our own bed. The room was very clean, upgraded and cozy.

Der Toilettenraum sehr klein . Nur für kurze Beine. Die Spülung klemmte. Am Freitag um 5pm machen alle Läden Wochenende. Pech, wenn man dann noch was essen möchte

So many stairs!

The reception lady was very nice and friendly. There was a decent sized fridge in the room which was very handy. The coffee maker and microwave was also appreciated.

For some reason hotels in Manitoulin Island are very expensive! 150$ for a Small Motel room with one bed off the highway?!!! This hotel was fine. Cheapest out there.

The room was small. The bathroom and shower even smaller! It needed painting and a thorough renovation. I would never stay there again!

We stayed for one night and everything was great. The room was very clean, nothing to complain about really and the beds were very comfortable. Parking is basically right in front of your door with the staff welcoming you with a smile!!

I would describe our room as being shabby, e.g., the doorframes were really beat up and looked like they hadn't been painted in years. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. In the bathroom the toilet and sink were spotless, but the shower tub and surround were a littleiffy.
