We had a wonderful stay at Tishan Holiday Resort. The service from the staff was exceptional — everyone was friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming throughout our visit. The resort is quiet, peaceful and wonderfully relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. The lovely swimming pool and beautifully maintained gardens added to the tranquil atmosphere. A great place for a relaxing getaway with excellent hospitality, good food and a peaceful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Rustig , mooi zwembad en super lekker ontbijt! Het personeel was zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Wij hadden zin in aardbei ijs maar dat was er niet dus reden ze daar speciaal om voor ons! Niets was hen teveel! Zeker een aanrader!

Amazing property, pool was nice and clean, breakfast was filling and just the overall service and care was above the top. Would highly recommend for solo travelers or families alike. Big shoutout to Thanula for the hospitality!

Sehr schöne Aussenanlage und Pool, schöne Zimmer (wir hatten die Delux Doppelzimmer), Frühstück war sehr vielfältig, reichlich und gut. Die ganze Familie ist authentisch nett und bemüht sich wirklich darum, dass man einen schönen Aufenthalt hat und sich wohlfühlt. Es gibt gutes Abendessen im Hotel, einige wenige Restaurants sind ca. 0,5-1km entfernt. Danke nochmal und alles Gute!

Die gesamte Anlage ist zum Wohlfühlen. Der Pool lädt zum Baden ein. Alles schön gestaltet. Es blüht und grünt. Abendessen und Frühstück waren gigantisch. Ein extra Erlebnis. Entspannung pur.

L'emplacement est au calme avec une vue magnifique sur les rizières. La piscine est très agréable et que dire du propriétaire et du personnel qui sont littéralement aux petits soins avec tout le monde !

We spent two nights at Tishan Holiday Resort and loved it. Breakfast was really good and the staff went out of their way to bring us hot water for coffee in the morning. The room was as pictured and having a pool after a hot day of touring was appreciated. Easy access to the Ancient City and a short drive to Pidurangala Rock and Minneriya National Park.

Adding an electric kettle to the room would be a wonderful addition.

Een van de beste locaties waar hebben gezeten in Sri lanka. Wat een ongelooflijk mooie plek, een prachtige tuin, heel goed verzorgd zwembad, ontzettend aardig personeel, heerlijk eten, alles was hier fantastisch! Het ontbijt was het beste Sri Lankese ontbijt (heerlijk, al die lekkernijen!) dat we in Sri lanka gehad hebben. En dat voor deze prijs, ongekend.

Na een bezoek aan de ruïnes heerlijk kunnen uitrusten en verkoelen aan het zwembad

Sauberer Pool, wunderschöner aussicht auf die Reisfelder. Der Frühstück war Europäisch aber wir erhielten auch Srilankisches und die Verpflegung - Sandwiches.

Heerlijke rustige oase, mooi aangelegde tuin met zwembad. Personeel ontzettend vriendelijk en in overleg konden we al eerder eten vanwege onze kleine kinderen. 8 jaar geleden was ik hier al geweest en ben blij dat ik terug ben gekomen

Hôtel très agréable avec belle piscine et bel espace détente devant les rizières. Nous avons même pu choisir notre chambre car l'hôtel n'était pas plein. Petit déjeuner très copieux et varié. Personnel très agréable, je recommande vivement.

Großes und sauberes Zimmer mit komfortablen Bad. Der Pool und die gesamte Gartenanlage waren sehr schön und gepflegt. Es ist ein sehr netter Familienbetrieb, alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr günstiger und guter Wäscheservice.

Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb, abends waren die wenigen Restaurants in der Nachbarschaft geschlossen. Aber man kann auch im Hotel etwas bestellen.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich und familiär aufgenommen und während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts rundum verwöhnt. Die Zimmer sind schlicht, aber sehr sauber; die Ausstattung ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, doch die Freundlichkeit und Fürsorge der Familie lassen dies zu 100 % vergessen. Jeden Morgen gab es ein super vielseitiges und liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück, und das Reis und Curry war das beste auf unserer gesamten Reise. Der Pool und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt und eine echte Wohltat nach schweißtreibenden Ausflügen durch die Ruinen. Wir können das Trishan sehr empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Everything. Resort is set in lush tropical garden with very nice pool. The dining area is outdoors and has very special vibe to it! Food was awesome and abundant. Staff super friendly

Super chambre et quel beau jardin ! J’ai adoré séjourner dans ce lieu entouré de rizières, où l’on peut admirer le coucher de soleil directement depuis le jardin. La nourriture proposée à l’hôtel est très bonne et copieuse, et la piscine est très bien entretenue. Tout le personnel est également très sympathique et à l’écoute. Je ne peux que recommander cet établissement.

Loved the tropical feel to the place, the gardens, the pool and how it was all lit up with fairy lights. We had a deluxe double room with garden view and it was so peaceful watching birds, bats and the odd mongoose from our terrace. The staff are all so friendly and will help with anything. Thanu, the owner’s son, runs the place extremely efficiently, speaks good English and is such a nice guy. And the breakfast spread was amazing - so many things including the elusive hopper which we hadn’t tried before.

Nos ha gustado muchísimo toda la estancia. La habitación a la piscina amplia, limpia, aire acondicionado estupendo, ventiralor. Una cama y almohadas muy cómodas. La piscina es un plus increíble para los días de calor, que son muchos. La hemos disfrutado mucho. Elegimos cenar en el hotel y ¡Menudo acierto! El arroz con curri consiste en un bufé de muchísimos curris diferentes que servirte tú mismo. No dejes de probarlo. El personal es encantador. Siempre dispuesto a ayudar en todo. Muy amables y profesionales. Recomiendo muchísimo este alojamiento para poder visitar la ciudad antigua. Está tan solo a 10 minutos en tuk tuk. El café suave pero muy aceptable. Y los panqueques rellenos de banana, super ricos!

Lo único que me preocupó un poco es la comida que se desperdicia de los desayunos. Te ponen muchísimos platitos con galletas, dulces y panes. Pero si no comes dulce, como es nuestro caso, se va a quedar todo en el plato. Quizá nos hubiera gustado más cantidad de opciones saladas o que nos preguntaran como en otros hoteles qué deseamos desayunar. Así Quizá la gestión de los alimentos fuese más adecuada. El desayuno correcto: omelette pequeño, 1 salchicha, pan, fruta y muchos dulces.

Tout était parfait ! Le lieu est just magique ainsi que les propriétaires de l’établissement , nous avons eu un coup de cœur c’est un petit coin de paradis 😍 Et la nourriture qu’ils font eux même est exquise !!

The staff were lovely, really made us feel like we were special. They were very accommodating. When we had early starts they prepared takeaway breakfasts for us with out asking. The rooms are big and clean and secure. Cleaning done when you want. Hot shower and clean towels in room. Beautiful garden and pool area. Always clean. Wildlife is in abundance and the views of the Paddy Fields were lovely. Food was all homemade and tasted great plus super reasonable on price for everything!

We loved it all but just to inform others, the location is a tuk tuk, car or bus ride to nearest town. This is fine as its on a road where those things are higly available. But surrounding hotel there is only a couple of small shops and restaurants.

A very nice place with a very friendly and helpful family running the place. From the pool beds you have a wonderful view on the ricefields and all the birds in the garden. The rice & curry is delicious!

Au bout d'un petit chemin en terre on arrive dans un très beau jardin agrémenté d'une magnifique piscine. Les maisonnettes sont confortables et dotées d'une belle terrasse. Le personnel est très disponible et accueillant.

Il n'y a pas de bouilloire dans les chambres.

Een heerlijk zwembad en ruime kamer. Wij hadden kamer 14 en mooi uitzicht op het mooie zwembad en de prachtige tuin. We hebben mee mogen kijken en een beetje geholpen met het maken van heerlijke Curry. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. Laat je verrassen.😃

There was a beautiful and peaceful garden with a swim marble pool that looked onto paddy fields. The owner/ owners son? was lovely and got his parents to drive us to Sigirya - a far nicer car than we were used to😁. Relaxing stay for 3 nights

Velmi milé privitáni,dostali jsme welcome drink.Výborné snídaně,všeho spousty a kazdý si vybere.Výborné fresh džusy..Bazén neměl chybu, člověk si opravdu zaplaval a personál vás obsloužil i u bazénu.Zařidili levnější tuk tuk,poradili,jak dál cestovat.Byli skvělí.Doporučujeme.

Tutto fantastico! Bellissimo il resort, bellissima la piscina, bellissima la zona fuori dal caos e immersa nel verde. Staff attento a tutte le esigenze. Torneremo presto!

L'unica cosa che migliorerei, per rendere tutto ancora più bello, sarebbe mettere delle zanzariere sui letti... Dato che le zanzare sono molte per la vegetazione circostante

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was also very quiet. The pool was fabulous in the middle of a lovely garden and overlooking rice paddies. We ate breakfast and dinner, both of which were huge and delicious. We didn’t need lunch! The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely stay there again.

Nous avons passé une nuit au Tishan Holiday Resort ! Nous aurions pu prolonger notre séjour avec plaisir! Son emplacement est loin de la route principal donc très calme. Nous avons été accueilli par une famille qui gère cet établissement, ils sont très serviables et souriants ! Le lit est très confortable et l’eau chaude de la salle de bain est appréciable ! La piscine au bord des rizières était la pépite ! Je ne peux que recommander !

Die freundliche Gastgeberfamilie, der große Pool, das Buffet beim Frühstück , die Lage bei den Reisfeldern. Es gab in der Nähe einige Restaurants mit leckerem großen Buffet.

Nettes Personal, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Anlage sauber und wunderbar zum entspannen.

Spartanische Speisekarte und zuviele Moskitos. Hilfreich wären Räucherstäbchen. Im Zimmer fehlt eine Möglichkeit Kleidung aufzuhängen sowie Kleiderbügel.

Le personnel est vraiment sympathique et très accueillant. Le lieux est tout simplement magnifique avec sa vue sur les rizières. La nourriture est excellente.
