It's on the top of a hill, which we knew when we booked it, but within easy walking distance of the centre.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026How cosy the apartment felt! I didn’t read the info properly when booking other than the number of rooms I required. The place is well equipped from the bathroom to the kitchen, lounge with plenty of spare towels, heat pump on upon arrival (this was appreciated cos it’s a tad colder than home) Met the lovely lady who looks after the accomodation and she was so prompt with getting back to my further enquiries about our stay. Would highly recommend esp for families!

Despite having to climb up a very steep hill (it is Dunedin), many steps and a steep driveway at the back of the long driveway to walk back to the unit it is walking distance to many things. The washer and dryer were great for catching up with washing.
The unit has no cook plate or oven, but does have a microwave, unit 6 which we stayed in is quite noisy, you constantly hear people going up and down the stairs and the entry door slamming shut, and when people upstairs use the water for showers, or washing etc., didn't bother us much as we were out a lot but could get annoying.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026The townhouse was spacious, sunny and super clean and tidy. We loved the comfy beds with their warm and cosy bedding, the well-equipped kitchen and space to spread out. There were 2 heat pumps in our apartment which kept us toasty warm over a very cold weekend.
There is nothing not to like.

One loo for 4 people was bit hectic sometimes, but 2 separate shower rooms was great. Stairs real creaky so put the light sleepers upstairs and the middle of the night toilet hoppers downstairs.

Had everything we needed and the use of a washing machine and dryer was a welcome bonus. The apartment is modern with a warm and inviting feel. Bed is super comfortable. Was great having a washer and dryer, although I didn't need to use it this time. If I was staying longer, it would have been great having it there in my apartment with me.
There was a bit of noise from the room about during the middle of the night, but it wasn't a deal breaker.
