First of all restaurant was too overpriced for the taste & serving of the f & b Breakfast was so so, because the property was great sometimes youre expecting lil more with the restaurant itself, Cleanliness was ok but could be more room for improvement especially at the blindspots such as behind the sidetables you can see dust buildups, underneath the bed, and behind the bathtub, just needs more attention to details The sink & toilet bit clogging ( slow ) but thats Bali & Indonesia in general

Prachtig resort! Mooie kamers, fijne bedden. Super leuk dat je naar de zoo kan, waar je verder helemaal geen last van hebt, goed restaurant en hele lieve mensen allemaal!! Wij kwamen even bij van onze andere avonturen, heel erg fijn.

Les repas au restaurant étaient un peu en deçà du reste vs le prix. Et comme l’hôtel est assez isolé, impossible de sortir pour un autre.

Bardzo dobry hotel dla rodzin z dziećmi. Świetny basen podzielony na dwie części: brodzik + głębszy 1,4m. Lokalizacja świetna z dala od hałasu i tłumów. Sklepy oddalone o ok 5-8 minut pieszo. Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa hotelu zarówno w recepcji, jak i każdym innym obszarze hotelu. Śniadania bardzo dobre, a szczególnie duży plus za bardzo dobrą kawę serwowaną z ekspresu kolbowego, a nie z automatu. W piątki hotel organizował grill w restauracji z muzyką na żywo co było bardzo miłym dopełnieniem dnia. Hotel usytuowany jest obok zoo, do którego jest nielimitowany dostęp, a każde dziecko lubi zwierzęta. Za dodatkową opłatą w zoo można karmić słonie, kapibary, surykatki, a nawet tygrysa. Niezapomnianym przeżyciem była wspólna kąpiel ze słoniami. Hotel posiada pełen wachlarz zabiegów spa, z których korzystaliśmy wielokrotnie, a największą zaletą spa jest szum wodospadu, który jest obok tego miejsca. Warto wziąć balijską ceremonię oczyszczenia, która jest przeżyciem duchowym, oczyszczającym i religijnym. Ceremonię braliśmy cała rodziną  z dziećmi, dostaliśmy oryginalne balijskie stroje, a w rytuale uczestniczył balijski "ksiądz/duchowy".

The rooms, restaurant and pool are well appointed. Complimentary access to the zoo included. The spa is amazing! The food is great, staff are attentive and friendly. The room was clean and huge!

Nothing bad to report

The room is spacious and clean! One thing that stands out for me is the staff remember your name, that is really an effort to remember everyone who checks in the hotel. Plus point for being next to the zoo and the unlimited zoo entries! My boy enjoys them. The facilities are great and well maintained and since it is low density, it is less crowded in the pool. Also, during breakfast you get to see the cassowary. Overall its very family friendly. Will definitely repeat this hotel in the future.

Water in the toilet does not seem to drain well and our aircond is a bit noisy that I didnt get enough sleep the first night. Breakfast has limited variety.

We had the perfect stay. The team was always on hand to help and assist when needed. Sanctoo is the perfect amount of resort. Everything you need, but not overcrowded like larger resorts. Perfect for families. Dewi from guest services was a star, as was our driver. The staff somehow all remember your names. It’s the touches like this which set it apart.

The staffs’ hospitality were impeccable! Made us feel very welcomed. Bonus was the novelty of being so near the zoo! My kids love it so much!

Very nice swimming pool. Spacious room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our kids also loved watching the cassowary at breakfast time.

Tranquil stay in the forest. Our room is located just next to bird garden and you can even see other small animals. Spa was amazing with affordable price but luxurious treatment and location. Staff were all well committed to guests.

Hot shower did not come smoothly. It suddenly stopped for 20 seconds 3 times in 2 nights.

Great room, great service, beautiful surroundings and a great deal with the zoo and all the freebies.

The extras were a bit overpriced, the breakfast could be a bit better in terms of offering all coffees (not just the brewed stuff, then have to pay extra for a capuccino), and some cold cuts and cheeses would be great for your western tourists.

Staying right in the middle of a zoo is a unique experience. We love animals and the sounds from the nearby zoo during the day was lovely. The breakfast was delicious. There are two cassowaries that live in a pen next to the dining area - we watched them intently every morning. Free family pass to the zoo!

The bed was comfortable, the pool was magical, the food was tasty and the staff was friendly.

It is a bit far from town. This suited me fine however I’m writing it down so other people know.

The only positives were the lovely zoo-side location, the accommodating staff, the clean rooms, and the exceptional breakfast.

The bed and pillows were uncomfortably hard. The hotel has around 30 rooms but only 8 sunbeds, meaning we waited nearly 3 hours just to get one. We knew the location was quiet with not much to do, but even then, the facilities felt limited. I’m not against children at all, but for such a small hotel with very little to keep them occupied, it’s not ideal for families. The kids were clearly bored, so I wouldn’t recommend bringing children for a longer stay. Beer was $9 a bottle in the restaurant — surprisingly, it was cheaper in the room minibar, which didn’t make much sense. If you’re planning to do nothing except visit the zoo and hope to secure a sunbed, this might suit you. We booked two nights but ended up leaving after one.

Le personnel est adorable, toujours souriant et bienveillant, bien que le buffet du petit déjeuner ne soit pas très grand, celui ci est de très bonne qualité et très bon. Les chambres sont très propres rien à redire. Le zoo juste à côté est un plus, surtout avec des enfants.

J’ai trouvé l’hôtel vraiment isolé, il n’y a rien aux alentours et vous êtes obligé de prendre un taxi pour vous déplacer, vu que vous êtes perdu au milieu de nulle part, le taxi vous coûtera plus cher. J’ai trouvé le restaurant vraiment très très cher aussi. La piscine est très jolie mais il n’y a que 5/6 transats, nous avons dû nous assoir par terre le premier jour😔.

Our stay at Sanctoo was amazing! An exceptional experience on all levels, the place, the location, the staff, the food… We have booked the villa with private pool. It was spacious, spotless and well designed. What made our experience even more special, was the incredible service. Every staff member was warm, attentive and helpful and especially Eka, Dewi, Yuro, Rifki, Indra, Yogi, Komang Ayu, Sekar and Dekuid who mostly served us during our stay. We felt genuinely cared for. If you are looking for a peaceful escape, surrounded by nature and kindness, Sanctoo is the place to be!

Aviary room was geweldig; mooi, schoon, groot en heel leuk om de dieren in de achtertuin te kunnen zien.

Ontbijt is voldoende maar niet wat je van een vijf sterren zou verwachten tegen deze prijzen.

Bathroom was needing a good clean or re-grout. Shower is open and next to the bath, causing lots of mould ingrained into the grout. Quite off putting when in the shower. Aside from that, all else was great!

I chose this hotel for my honeymoon stay after I saw a stunning video of the location on YouTube. I walked in with very high expectations and they delivered well over and beyond. Everything - from the warmest hospitality to superb rooms, amenities and special arrangements was perfect. We had the Riverside Pool Villa and it was stunning! We tried out their Spa and felt super refreshed after. I even secretly worked with the hotel and staff to set up a candlelight dinner as a surprise for my wife and they executed it beautifully while very skillfully keeping all communication about it on a hush so my wifey wouldn't be spoiled about it before the surprise. Some special mentions of staff members who made our stay ever so special - Meisha, Mirah, Komang Ayu, and Sugik from the front desk who were always so amiable and always took care of our requests. Sang Ayu, Rahma, Martin and Dewi from the restaurant for their spectacular service as well as so beautifully setting up our candlelight dinners. And Deemus who assisted us at checkin and showed us our villa and the amenities that came with it. Thank you for your efforts. We appreciate it all. 100/10 recommend this place. I will be back here someday to relive the memories of my honeymoon experience.

Nothing. Everything was perfect

The staff were excellent especially Dewi at FO, Dewi in restaurant and Martin in the Wantillan cafe. Access to the Zoo Breakfast was very nice with a varied selection. Wantilan restaurant was nice to eat in and reasonably priced.

The pillows were a bit hard to sleep on, but that is more a personal choice. Cassowary Restaurant prices are a bit pricey for the quality.

The location is beautiful, rooms are super comfortable. SPA is one of the best we experienced and the overall staff have been super helpful

Breakfast needs massive improvement, for this price the options and quality was a compromise. Its a place to stay once, will recommend to others who are visiting Bali with kids

it was not a big issue, but some personnel didn't know that I was staying at the hotel and it was a bit uncomfortable to be in reception truing to explain them that I was staying at the Hotel. All solve it and it was ok. but it will be great if the have a way to check.

Very good customised food as we were vegetarian. Devi, one of the girls at the restaurant was so nice and she catered us with all vegetarian options. Mirah, the girl at the reception was amazingly good and polite

We had a private villa with pool, the villa is very beautiful and quiet, the perfect get away People are so friendly and helpful, the restaurant is also really good. Breakfast is good and everything is fresh, I have seen bigger breakfast buffets but for the price it’s definitely worth it. I love this hotel and I will miss it, will definitely come back if I visit Bali. I really recommend booking the villa!

Everything is super. We had very memorable stay with sanctoo. All the staff are attentive. They show the truly hospitality with no discrimination. Feel welcome on every step that you take in this establishment. Worth the money with all the benefits that we get. It's just like one pack excellent short escape with Sanctoo from our daily routine. Very recommended for those traveling with kids. Can't wait to stay again.

From arrival, we felt pampered and well cared for. The staff were incredibly attentive, humble, and charming, creating a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Surrounded by lush greenery, we could unwind among the trees, listen to birdsong, and watch butterflies in their natural habitat. Our villa was simply perfect—a private pool for family fun, a comfortable bed, a well-stocked minibar, and a beautifully maintained bathroom. The outdoor shower was a refreshing touch. The restaurant’s breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the staff’s warm hospitality made dining a pleasure. We were so impressed that we returned for dinner twice. Every meal was a delight, especially the spicy yet incredible Bebek Crispy! A special thanks to Anya, whose kindness helped our shy child feel at ease and made us relaxed and fun, and to Ugik, our knowledgeable and friendly driver. One might wonder: • Did the resort smell like a zoo, given its proximity? → No, not at all! • Were mosquitoes an issue during our February–March stay? → Surprisingly, no! We were amazed by how well this resort maintained its clean, eco-friendly environment, something rare even in our own country. The harmony between wildlife, nature, and the hotel’s team was truly admirable. Thank you for an unforgettable experience—we will cherish the memories and hope to return soon!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall for the main building where we stayed was quite nice but my extended family who stayed in the Villas had quite few problems with Aircon, door not locking, telephone wire was plug into wrong plug so could call reception.

The aircon in the room is on one side so either the it can too hot or too cold.....

Stayed in their regular room, it was spotless and bathroom was very well ventilated - no mould or odor issues here which is rare for a humid place like Bali! layout of room is great too, balcony overlooks the pool and overall feels very warm and welcoming. I felt very safe as a solo traveler. Whole place is very professionally run (eg daily testing on pool) and staff is very attentive. Moved here after issues with another hotel and I would wholeheartedly recommend!

All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We loved everything. The property is beautiful, well maintained and very tranquil (it has many green places and even its own temple!). We enjoyed an epic massage at the spa, where we could hear a waterfall in the background. Being able to go to the zoo (ticket included in the stay) via a private entrance was also a nice benefit of staying at Sanctoo. Getting to Ubud for activities and sightseeing was very easy to do with a taxi.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! I chose it for its convenient location, close to both Bali Zoo and Ubud. The ambiance was perfect for families, offering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
