Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was overwhelmingly negative. During my five-night stay, I unknowingly slept in a room infested with bedbugs. At first, I didn’t realize what was happening, but several days later I developed a severe allergic reaction. A visit to the doctor confirmed that the symptoms were caused by bedbug bites. The reaction was intense - my skin was covered in itchy welts, and I had to take special medication to manage the allergic response. This situation significantly affected my health and well-being.

As a result of this experience, I am now extremely cautious when choosing accommodations. I’ve developed a sensitivity to bedbug bites that could potentially lead to serious health complications, including breathing difficulties and fever. This stay has made me much more vigilant about checking the hygiene standards of hotels, especially inspecting mattresses and furniture for signs of infestation. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel until it can guarantee proper cleanliness and pest control measures.

It’s difficult to say anything positive about my stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, I discovered on the morning of my departure that the mattress in my room was infested with bed bugs. I had been suffering from bites every night but didn’t realize the cause until I saw the insects crawling on the bed—clearly full of blood. It was a shocking and deeply unpleasant experience. Initially, I thought the irritation on my skin was due to an allergy or mosquito bites. I tried changing skincare products and using insect repellent, but nothing helped. Only on the last day did I realize the true cause. The mattress was clearly old and likely infested for some time. When I reported this to the reception, the staff laughed and dismissed my concern. The manager seemed indifferent, which made the situation even more frustrating. There were visible blood stains and crushed insects on the sheets, yet no one probably took it seriously. Breakfast: This was the only acceptable part of the stay, though it didn’t make up for the rest. This was one of the most expensive hotels I booked, and I expected at least basic hygiene. I’ve stayed in much cheaper places in Turkey that were far cleaner and more comfortable. Sadly, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Aside from the bed bug issue, the hotel had several other problems: Noise: Despite requesting a quiet room, the hotel’s location at a busy intersection meant constant traffic noise (even n the top floor - 7th). The sound insulation was so poor I could hear conversations from neighboring rooms - the entire floor was empty, but one room beside mine had guests - it looked like we were all in just one room! Location: While it’s close to the train station, it’s far from the city center. I had to rely on taxis to get around. There are better-located hotels near Alaaddin Square or the Mevlana Museum. Cleanliness and furniture: The furniture / decorations were old and upholstered (all textiles), which likely contributed to the infestation. The overall cleanliness and hygiene did not meet the standards expected of a four-star hotel!

Breakfast

Very disappointed They suppose to offer Turkish Hamam or bath but for whole 8 days that we booked it was out of order.

Konumu heryere yakın olması

Otel Konyada ki en iyi otellerden biri.

The breakfast had good choice except on the religious holiday when each guest was given a basic plate(cheese, tomato.,olives and 4 preserves)

The hotel was not geared up for tourism. It is designed for one night stays and business conventions. There was no evidence of guide books or info on places of interest. We asked for a map of the area but none was available. We also had a problem with the kettle in our room which was reported but not sorted. Also, we asked the hotel to book us a taxi on our departure but it did not come.

Quiet room and great breakfast.

Cozy hotel . the location is perfect . The mall and some local shops are in the walk distance. Very silent street, safe and calm

I wasn' t ready that there were no exchange offices around. The nearest one was in the city centre ....

Location was good, centrally located, walking distance to a good mall with food court.

During our 3 days stay Hotel had electricity problem twice, once for around 4 hours, there was no back up for AC or lights, , lifts were not working so we had to take stairs to our room on 4th floor. Staff except one didn't know a single word of English and was not at all cooperative. Breakfast was with many items but were tasteless.

Staff all very friendly & helpful

Breakfast choices were limited will lots of bowels of olives & Jams but not much actual food choices.

the bed mattress was great

most public areas smelled of smoke

clean & tidy good breakfast

nothing

staff is great and location is alright

they advertise services that they may not have, such as gym etc.

location staff break fast

room doesn’t looks like the pictures price bet high to room

There is enough parking for the hotel and the room is clean and tidy. The hotel is in central location of Konya.

Nothing.

cleanness, bed comfort, room design

the receptionist did not understand even one word English. just one person (Burak) speaks and understands English who works just in evening shifts.

Place is good no one talk except borak night shift so it was disaster to talk to any one

They don't speak any language except Turkish

The best hotel ever!!!!!!!

Clean it is near a big mall and shop.

It hasn't got foffee shop in hotel

Great staff, really helpful and very kind. They park your car away if possible and will help with your luggage. Super professional staff.

Hotel was a bit old. Also they did not have a baby crib even though I did requested one and in first place they agreed. But once upon arrival there was no baby bed available.

everything was Amat. Receptionist was so helpful. Hotel restaurant food was amazing. Breakfast was great.

nothing

The Hotel Dündar in Konya was one of my favourites on the tour of Turkey. Despite being quite modern it has touches that reflect the city's past such as the fountain at the entrance and the marvellous whirling dervish mural. The rooms were very clean and up to date. The breakfast buffet was among the best on the trip with a huge selection of cheese and olives, both of which I like for breakfast as well as a good selection of hot dishes. It was the only place I saw halvah on offer. It is a mid-Eastern sweet that goes great with morning coffee. The location is close to many restaurants and shops in a modern part of the city.

.

We stayed in this hotel, location is good, breakfast is enough and the rooms are clean and cozy.We enjoyed our stay. They also have a car park which was a bonus. We hope to come back soon for a longer stay.

nicely decorated and clean rooms, although not so spacious but the room size is ok. they provided us anything that a good hotel provides including coffee and slippers, but not toothbrushes. a bit far from city center, but you can get on the minibuses right in front of the hotel and they take you to the city center for just 2.5 YTL. overally I'm totally satisfied with our choice of hotel in Konya.

Excellent great service, great location, breakfast, receptionist, cleaner I'm really speechless

Hotel gayet temizdi, odalardaki eşyalar yeniydi, kahvaltı çeşidi yeterliydi... Konya'ya tekrar geldiğimde tercih ederim....

Otelin şartlarınının olumsuzluklarını personel ilgisi kapatıyor, bizce başarılı tekrar konaklamak isteriz, teşekkürler.

Our room was quite small with two twin beds. No shampoo and no wifi accessible. It seemed to take a long time to get hot water. And when you use the shower a lot water got on the bathroom floor. This is a historic hotel, but a disappointing experience.

Ottima pulizia, posizione abbastanza centrale, buona struttura, buona colazione

Muy lindo y hospital. Buena comida y desajuno exagerado

Centrally located (25 mins walk to Alaaddin Tepe and Kültür Park, Taxi stand nearby, dolmus route along road), comfortable clean and quiet rooms, good selection breakfast buffet and friendly reception staff, some of whom speak English. Excellent experience when they went out of their way to help me get to my next destination in rural Anatolia.

Very comfortable 2 night stay, excellent price. Extensive turkish breakfast buffet which also offers a few cereals which was a nice change for us. Wifi was a bit weak at times. Restaurant meals were very nice and well priced. Location isn't right in the centre however 5 minutes gets you to the tram station. And a 15 minute amble gets you into the centre.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation with amazing breakfast.

Gutes Hotel zentral gelegen.

Klima yetersizdi..502 no.lı odanın zemini kötü idi..

Her açıdan beklentilerimi karşıladı.

Spa facilities only open between 4pm to 10pm Cannot speak to english

Nice 4 star hotel in the city center. It is our 2nd stay there. We are happy.

Neatly kept, quiet place ( if your room isnt facing the road) - our stay in Dundar hotel was pretty good. Being not married couple many hotels refused to accommodate us in Konya without official marriage certificate. So it a plus point for Dundar hotel as they didn't require it.

We would have appreciated a smile from the reception on arrival and some additonal information about Konya. Information about complimentary amenities (wifi, minibar etc) wasn't provided by the hotel either.
The breakfast was good, and so were the room serviced daily. The location is a little far from the city centre by walking (20 min) but can be accessed by public buses (number 47 and 53).

Information regarding accessing the wifi wasn't provided right away so we had to inquire it ourself. Prices of the minibar service wasn't provided either, so we didn't bother using it.Though electric kettle and tea sachets were available (included in the price of the room). Overall we will recommend this Hotel !

A clean, comfortable hotel catering mainly for Turkish clientele. Breakfast large and varied buffet style but not really leaning towards western tastes. Rooms small but well appointed and clean although the toilet gave off an uncomfortable oder. Choice of bed linen a bit strange too.

Not much tourist know about this hotel as they may not stay a night but stop for Rumi great tomb here. If you need to stay i suggest this hotel. Walking distance to few convenience shop and shopping area. In front of the hotel with nice and beautiful Mosque. the hotel not too spacious but good enough for a night or two. great decoration and good amenities. the Gym Sauna and Hamam at LG is very nice and should try as that come with affordable service. The food is amazing. try their local meat ball at buffet dinner. Its a specialties from Konya by local Chef here. Around Turkey and you will agreed with me on this one its delicious and different.

They stoled my closes and makeup and I called the police for them ....they bring back few stuff....they are thieves

Hotel located in the city centre, close to many places, rooms very comfortable, very good bed, bathroom as in other hotels in Turkey not perfect (my experience). Free Wi-Fi in rooms, you can make your own tea or coffee in the room, good air-condition. Generally very OK.

In a good location. BUT be aware..... İf going to eat or drink in the restaurant. They allow SMOKING in side. Even though by Turkish law. It's not allowed. Not pleasant when you're eating. Out of about 15 tables eating, 13 tables were smoking.

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it, but what really made it stand out for us was the above and beyond service that the manager, Bunyamin, gave us which made our experience during the 742 ceremonies a most memorable one. Easy to get to/from the bus Otogar by jumping on a tram and getting off at the KULE stop, and also to get in/out of the city centre on the same tram. Big shopping mall with supermarket around the corner made it easy to stock up on supplies. Room was warm even though it was minus outside.

Nice looking hotel, great hotel room, good location, but the staff were a bit inpolite and they tried to charge us for 13 beers when we only drank 7, be sure you get to pay your drinks when you get them

Good location in Konya, the rooms are nice with good showers, air conditioning tricky to get right as the electric powers off when you leave the room and the room heats up which you then have to balance on return, safe is handy and breakfast is nice. The two elevators are small but okay, there is a mosque apposite the hotel but the call to prayer didn't stop me sleeping. Just around the corner there is an off licence with drinks at a sensible price, a small beer in the hotel is expensive. Staff at the hotel are very efficient, not many speak English but that's not a problem, good hotel overall.

Dündar Hotel is located in the city center and it is very near most of the popular destinations. All personnel was very helpful during our stay. If you come for business to Konya it is definitely best place for your accommodation. Special thanks for Manager Saadettin and Bünyamin they served our group even free breakfast at 5:30. Well done and see you next time.

Dundar is a new and well-kept hotel with comfortable beds and spacious rooms. It is also conveniently located along a main boulevard in the center of town. Complimentary breakfasts are quite good with lots of options (though some of the foods were way too oily and their coffee isn't great). Bathrooms are extremely clean and the water pressure is wonderful.

My group stayed here for one night. The room, though not large, was nice, clean and not noisy, though on the street. The food was good and the waiters were very attentive. The porter couldn't wait to take my bag to the bus. This hotel is worth considering.

I am traveling at least once a year in Konya and I am always staying at Dundar Hotel as it is well located in the city, clean and nice rooms, excellent staff behaviour and good breakfast. Room rates are good as well, depending on the season. I will continue to stay in Dundar Hotel in my next visits to Konya.

For what you pay it was great value. The breakfast was one of the best for the ones of this price. The beds are pretty comfortable. there is not much around the area, but a great half way point so you dont have to drive too long during the day
