In one or two places hand rails would have been helpful for older guests.

We liked everything If I really had to be choosy we purposely went for the room for an extra 20 pounds as it showed on the photos it had a sofa to sit on but then room we received was slightly different and only had a chair but still definitely amazing value for money

Parking right next to the room - really convenient. Great choice at breakfast and very helpful and friendly hosts. Looking for a lovely place to stay near Otley then look no further than Chevin End Guest House!

Delicious breakfast Nicky and her team were perfect. Friendly and extremely helpful. The location was ideal for a wedding we were going to in Otley. I cannot recommend highly enough! Best accommodation in the area I think!

From our initial greeting with Nicky (and the adorable tom barn cat) we were made to feel right at home and received such a warm welcome. The room was beautiful and well decorated with stunning views and french doors leading out onto a veranda. We really appreciated the finer touches and attention to detail, such as the tea and coffee offerings in our room, including biscuits and a jar of sweeties. I had a lovely night's sleep with the country air and the bed was so comfortable! Nicky and the team were amazing hosts and the breakfast was delicious! Everything was cooked to order and it was no trouble if you wanted to change or remove anything. We very much appreciated the recommendations for an evening bite to eat from Nicky. The only downside was that we had only booked for the 1 night due to being in the area for a wedding open day and I regret not having booked for longer! We will absolutely be returning again in the future!

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Room was basic but comfortable, though the mattress a little firm for me but I'm aware that's personal preference. The room was clean, location quiet and beautiful views. There was a heater in the room which warmed up very quickly. The staff were really friendly and helpful and very approachable. Breakfast choices were full breakfast, breakfast bap, cereals, yoghurt and staff were happy to adapt to your needs. Definitely a great place to stay, I fully recommend it.
Nothing to dislike, a firm mattress is a personal choice and not a fault of the guest house.

Reviewed Dec 8, 2025The location was beautiful. Peaceful. Some lovely scenery from the accommodation with some nice walks in the countryside. Lovely cosy room and breakfast was very nice in the morning.
Shame the pub at the top was closed down as there was nowhere to go on foot for a drink or food. Plenty of nice pubs and places to eat in Otley town centre around a 10 -15 minutes drive away from the accommodation.
