Me and my friends 11 people visited Siem reap for 5 days trip , we booked Indra porak hotels for all 4 nights , ambience was very good , staff was so nice , rooms are very big , neat and clean bathrooms. Very reasonable price, perfect location, just 1.3 kms from Pub street, Highly recommend
The staff was outstanding. The property was a beautiful oasis in the middle of the usual Siam Reap craziness. The room was huge. Ate at their restaurant a few times. It was good enough. I would definitely stay again
We loved this hotel. The room was very spacious and clean and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was delish which quite a few options to choose from and when we went on an early day trip they packed us some breakfast to go without us asking which was so thoughtful. The pool was nice with happy hours from 2-7 where you can get nice snacks and drinks for quite cheap. The only downside was the location as the street it was on wasn’t the nicest and you did have to get a taxi to get to the centre however the hotel offered a tuktuk service which was free at nighttime to anywhere in the city.
Friendly helpful staff, large clean room, clean pool, free tuk tuk into the town in an evening. Highly recommend for the money.
First time in Cambodia, we didn't know what to expect. So to be greeted with smiling faces and open arms upon our arrival at this beautiful hotel was just what we needed. The staff were always attentive and ready to help wherever possible at times the language barrier provided challenges but that was all part of the fun and experience. the hotel was a 5 min tuktuk ride from Pub Street and night market and was tucked away from main road. nice and quiet at night, the rooms were beautifully presented. bed was really comfy and room was really spacious as was the ensuite. outside the room was undercover with a large table and chairs where you could eat and have breakfast. There is a nice little restaurant bar that also is the reception area where breakfast is served and also a good option if wanting to eat in for dinner. overall. Perfect little hotel close to everything with fantastic staff and nice big rooms alongside a great swimming pool at a very cheap cost. fully recommend to anyone travelling to the city of Siem Reap.
Nice clean place, friendly staff. Close walk to pub street, maybe about 20 mins.
The rooms are large and well equipped. The hotel is quite small and has a small dinning area that is well presented. The very upright wooden chairs could do with a back cushion. The food was good. The pool is small and not chlorinated. Great and very friendly atmosphere. We were treated very well and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. They can also arrange trips and drivers. Our tuc tuc drivers were brilliant and not expensive, an easy way to get to the centre of town. There is a market every night outside the hotel in the streets, great to walk around. The rooms are well insulated and quiet so sleep is easy and if you want a wake up call they will knock on your door. We had our laundry done and they cleaned the room on request. You can sit outside at night and hear the crickets and the Geckos.
The rooms were very spacious & tastefully furnished. Very friendly & helpful staff. Twenty minute walk to Pub street, however a Grab tuk tuk is 80p or 1 dollar, so really not an issue. A very pleasant 5 night stay.
Cleanliness and friendly staff. My kids enjoy with swimming.
Absolutely stunning property, this place really is incredible and could not fault it from the service through to the rooms we were thoroughly impressed. In our opinion it’s a 10/10 property. The staff can not do enough to help you, the rooms were spotless and well equipped and furnished - and not to mention huge! Breakfast is brilliant, the pool is great and location wise we really enjoyed. Would definitely stay again if in the area - thank you !
We had to move as it wasn’t to the usual standard…The foyer toilet had no lid and no toilet paper. The swimming pool was green with algae. The bed was hard as concrete. There was no shower had no curtain so all the water poured on the floor. Apart from that it was ok. We complained but I doubt if they will give us our money back.
#My beautiful hotel "Indra Porak Residence" in Siem Reap #Very convenient location near to Pub Street, Angkor Wat Temples & Airport #Very economical, clean & tidy with all the basic amenities #Spacious rooms & bathrooms with amazing swimming pool #Since I'm a vegetarian got one vegetarian Cambodian Khmer dish in the hotel restaurant (Vegetables & Coconut curry with Sticky rice) 😋😃😍🌈
Great hotel! Staff were amazing, Nann was a great host and was so welcoming and accommodating. They have a lovely pool and room is so big. But the staff are the best. They have a tuk tuk driver to take you wherever you need.
The property was very beautiful, with literally huge rooms. The staff was also great, very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, for a number of reasons, the amenities were very poor. The cafe/restaurant had no food and only served beer and powdered coffee. I had one breakfast of fried eggs, for which I had to wait until after 8AM and had to pay $5 (which they did end up erasing from the bill at checkout). The management decided to do renovations, including cutting stones (extremely noisy) in the morning. I ended up having to scream at the workers to stop - which made me feel very bad. The market had been moved nearby, which was interesting enough but made the area very dirty with poor access. At the end, everything was blamed on Covid, an easy target to shift responsibility ... Since I liked the property and the staff, I wouldn't mind staying there again, but certainly under very different conditions.
This hotel is fantastic it's only a short time to pub street where the bar scene is fantastic. The hotel is a hidden gem the rooms are spacious and well appointed.the swimming pool is delightful. Fantastic staff I will return I can't say anymore I'm happy
Nice and clean property, away from party life in peaceful and quiet location
Excellent hotel with very humble staff. Good breakfast.. best view... Best stay... Rooms are huge and clean. Swimming Pool is big and very calm place. As usual in siem reap, you'll find a lot of reptiles and big big lizards around you. So much inside from main road and the market lane is pathatic, Shabby and dirty. Location is little difficult to find.
Hidden gem in Siem Reap, wish we had stayed more than one night. Our room was big and clean, the pool was amazing after a day of exploring Angkor Wat and the breakfast was great (I tried the congee/rice porridge which was delicious). Staff were also helpful, special mention to Pisey who made us feel so welcome!
I stayed a night at Indra Porak Boutique, Green hotel with beautiful garden, Room are big and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel located to the Psa Krom market. Reasonable pricehotel.....!!!
Could be amazing, but was a construction site during our stay - scaffolding and litter around the pool, dust everywhere, hammering from 7:30am, most rooms out of action, and nothing was done to try and make up for it. We booked as a daily deal so price was reasonable (prob due to construction), but we’ve stayed at other hotels in Siem Reap and know you can get much better service at that price. Some pros: - beautiful room and as advertised, also great cleaning service - great breakfast - good AC and wifi Cons: - intrusive construction - rainshower head so low we had to squat. Also pressure was intermittent and ran brown sometimes - didn’t get advertised welcome drink - we were excited about access through a market (love the markets) but this is more a wholesale market with mud and innards all over the ground, and very chaotic. Recommend accessing from other direction
This place is truely a hidden oasis. The way going to Indra Porak passes through a local market, not the ideal way but what awaits you here is simply amazing. We were picked up by Mr. Mao at the airport. A truely great person, who drove us around every day. The rooms are huge, AC is super cold and cleanliness is top. Bathroom very big and with rain-shower. We have to run the water a little as there seems to be some sediment in the water here. But after a minute all is good. The fried rice as one choice of the included breakfast immediately became my favorite but also the other choices were great. We will surely come back - even if the price will be little higher this is a treat and worth every single dollar. Mr. T, Mr. Mao, Som, Makra and the rest of the team are amazing and make you feel at home from the minute you arrive. We fully enjoyed our 4 nights here and now it is time to say good-bye... back to reality 😉
A tad off the beaten track, in not the best area of town. In saying that the hotel was fantastic. A huge room, a wonderful bed and large bathroom with bath and shower made this a wonderful stay. The room was wonderfully clean. The bed was large and just right, not soft but not firm. Perfect. The pool furniture is looking slightly old and needs replacing. A coffee cup and ash tray lay untouched for 3 days. They were minor imperfections. I loved my stay here and the price was great. Will definitely return.
I have been to Siem Reap several times and stayed here for 9 days on this visit. Tuk Tuk pick up from the airport, nice large room on the first floor. Good sized bed, comfy, clean bathroom. Hotel is accessed via a local market and is 1.5 kms from centre of town. Easily accessed by tuk tuk. $1-2. I would stay here again.
Nice clean hotel with staff that will do anything for you. The area surrounding the hotel is very dirty and the WiFi is slow.
I wanted to give them 0 star if it is possible. They said that our airport transfer is not included in our booking which our booking clearly says otherwise. Our first few minutes of stay started with clogged toilet. Then, cockroaches. It is acceptable if it is only 1-3 cockraches, but, in our toilet, it was like a swamp of cockroaches. I even lost count of how many of the cockroaches. The towels is changed everyday but the towels have stains on it. Like the yellow brownish kind of stain. Then, the location is beside the wet market. Sometimes, it feel too crowdy and too smelly. This hotel is rated as 4-star hotel, I would say that this is 2.5-3 stars hotel. Oh by the way the hotel transfer is by tuktuk. Maybe it is the easiest mode of transport and the cheapest. It was shocked for me at first because i thought we were going to be picked up by a car because I booked a 4-star hotel. 🤣
The staff was very friendly and the property was clean and peaceful.
Stayed at Indra Porak Residence for four nights. I arrived very late in the evening and was not sure if there was going to be someone waiting to pick me up, I was relieved when there was Tuktuk driver Mau waiting. I was not sure what I was going to find as we were coming down a dark alley way but was very pleasantly surprised when we pulled up to this wonderful oasis. The staff could not been more helpful or pleasant. The room was huge and clean and the bed was firm but not rock hard. The breakfast in the mornings was excellent and the pool was awesome after a day of walking about town and Angkor Wat. Lang at the front desk was so helpful making arrangements for trip to Angkor or tuktuk to town to do some shopping. All in all I would recommend Indra Porak to anyone looking for a bit of peace after a hot busy day.
getting to the hotel from the mian road, We kind of thought we have been decived on the booking, but to oour amazment it was a nice little hotel that was very comfortable. the rooms on the bottom floor are very good, clean and spacious.recomend staying on the bottom floor. As for the food, i would say that is decent..morning coffe is outta this world ! definit pick me up.. i had about 3 cups every morning haha. aslo pretty close to the night market and pub street 3/4 min tuk ride...we used a guide by the name of long beroun, who was pretty helfull with most things... overall a decent place to stay.
Indra Porak Residence Hotel is a nice little hotel with just a small front desk, two levels of rooms, a good-size pool, and a little cafe for breakfast and lunch. The room was clean and large-sized, which made us happy. We loved having a bathtub! The fixtures show signs of wear and tear but had no problems. There’s a tuk-tuk driver who seems readily available should you need to go to the Old Market or anywhere else. Bonus: When we booked the hotel online, the hotel automatically confirmed and arranged a tuk-tuk to pick us up from the airport on the day of our arrival.
This hotel was very difficult to find and get to, especially in the middle of the night. It is in the middle of town, so we would have expected our airport taxi driver to know it, but this was not the case. Even google maps does not help, with no roads and road names being clearly defined. The hotel itself was really good. The service was great, rooms were huge, but the bathrooms had a smell after water was flushed or showered down, and the toilet often clogged. The food needs a bit of work, breakfast was over-simplified, dinners were nothing to write home about. Overall though, great value for money and well worth the stay.
We were treated like royalty. Staff very friendly and quick to assist every need. Lovely clean room with all amenities for guests comfort. Real family feel to the place
Hotel was very nice and clean. The staffs were kind and helpful. It was so difficult to get there since it was located next to the farmers market and residential area. It was very hard to find the hotel.
It was a memorable experience for us as I celebrated my birthday there. The staff were very accommodating. We are given the bestest treatment and they happily accepted all our request. Hospitable and tries to do they best they can. We also loved that theybassigned a bery trustworthy tuktuk driver. Cheurn was very accommodating and patient. Seldomly you’ll find a hotel that may not be perfect but would make your stat memorable and stress free!
thanks for the hospitality. enjoy my stay in siem reap
They offer round trip airport transfer but no one was waiting despite my telephone call (which was wrong number in hotels.com listing- the answerer gave me the new number). The manager emailed me to inquire about my arrival once I was already en route. There were pets in the lobby which was not a welcomed site, but they were caged so no problem but the smell. The daily breakfast choices were awesome. We really appreciated getting breakfast to go on our departure day. We pre-arranged our tours and the tuk-tuks were able to find us. Wifi and cable worked well. There were toiletries and towels. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very attentive.
A nice hotel to stay. Cannot say negatively for the price and services offered by this hotel. Very large rooms, nice and quiet poolside and very good staff. Surroundings and neighborhood is close to a crowded market; but who cares as we are either inside the hotel or almost 80% of the time away from hotel. Didn't bother us. Another value for money stay
When we arrived at the hotel, we were told we didn't have a reservation. We showed them our paperwork confirming the room, but no one spoke English well enough to be able to explain to us why we suddenly didn't have a reservation. While we were sitting in the lobby trying to figure out what was going on, I noticed that I had gotten an email three hours earlier -- while we were on a biking tour at Angkor Wat -- telling us that our room wasn't available because it had maintenance issues, but that we would be taken to another hotel. So probably 25 to 30 minutes after arriving at the hotel, we were whisked away by tuk tuk to a different one. And let me tell you, this new place was FANTASTIC. Way better than the Indra Porak. It was called Petit Temple, and we loved it. So while we thank Indra Porak for ending up putting us up in an even nicer place, it was quite stressful arriving at a hotel where you're told you don't have a room. Also, after all this, Indra Porak would occasionally send me emails addressed to OTHER PEOPLE telling me the hotel was looking forward to my stay. I got a handful of them, and it was weird.
Everything was excellent (staff, driver, and pool), but the restaurant isn't great (poor breakfast, mix up on meals, not much variety). Hire Mr. Chun in his tuktuk to take you to the city centre for excellent food instead!
Nice place to stay & friendly staff but too far from all the action.
Very friendly small hotel very quiet close to main markets and pub street Staff very helpful
