A relaxing peaceful place in Siem Reap. We enjoyed our stay. The location just perfect we can to everywhere Old Market, Pup Street and Psa Khmer as well . We definitely stay here again .

Il personale è super accogliente, sempre con il sorriso e ci ha aiutato tantissimo a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza. Ci ha preparato la colazione al sacco per poter andare a vedere l'alba nei templi, ci ha prenotato il tuk tuo al mattino prestissimo e il massaggio che si è svolto nella loro SPA. Consigliatissima anche la piscina in cui si può stare fino a tardi.

Très bel établissement proche du centre de Siem Reap (7 minutes à pied). A 15 min des temples d’Angkor en voiture. Nous avons profité de la piscine et de la restauration. C’était plutôt agréable de pouvoir se prélasser autour de la piscine. Les chambres sont grandes et spacieuses avec une très grande salle de bain (douche et baignoire). Nos chambres étaient communicante, ce qui était pratique avec les enfants. Les balcons permettent de profiter de l’extérieur. Le personnel est accueillant, souriant et très agréable. L’hôtel propose des excursions à prix très intéressants. Ils sont assez réactifs pour les réservations. Nous avons pu profiter du spa à 4, 2 dans le spa et 2 dans la chambre.

Août correspond à la basse saison, des travaux étaient donc en cours, et nous n’avons été prévenu qu’en arrivant. Cela nous a partiellement dérangé. Sur les moments de visite, pas de problème mais à partir du moment où nous étions autour de la piscine, ça pouvait durer. Nous avons été tranquille le samedi mais ça a repris le dimanche. Dommage Le premier jour, le ménage n’a pas été fait, nous avons fait les demandes les jours suivants.

J'avais réservé un lit double + un lit pour un enfant. Mais il n'avait pas que des chambres avec 2 lits simple, ou 1 lit double. La proposition de rajouter un petit lit ou un matelas dans la chambre n'était pas viable car elles sont trop petites

Hard to find fault

We took a family tour of four temples (arranged by the hotel the night before—so thoughtful!) with Lucky—‘Lucky-English Tour Guide’. It was a truly memorable experience. We had to get up early, but it was definitely worth it. Upon arrival at Angkor Wat, it wasn't too crowded yet, and we got to see the sunrise behind one of the most beautiful temples in the world. We learned a lot about the temple's origins and the long-standing tensions between Thailand and Cambodia. Lucky was a very attentive guide; she patiently took the time to explain everything and answer our questions. Whenever we wanted a break, she would pick up the pace a bit and take us to spots for lunch and coffee. All in all—both the tour and the hotel come highly recommended!

Everything. The staff were so incredibly kind. The room was exceptionally clean and beautiful. The whole hotel felt serene compared to the noise outside. The location was perfect.

I flew across the world to experience the wonderful and splendor of Cambodia's history. I count myself tremendously fortunate to have stayed at the cozy/clean The Moon Residence and had Lucky as my Angkor Wat guide. The Moon exceeded my expectations and the staff were eager to ensure my enjoyable stay. From the balcony view to the spacious room, i was smiling every time I walked through my door. Lucky knew EVERYTHING and explained it in a cheerful manner which made the detailed trip special. My expectations were surpassed completely and I cannot recommend her enough. If you are ever thinking about exploring these wonderful sites, Lucky is the guide for you.

Ein besonderes Lob möchten wir auch unserem Hotel aussprechen. Wir können es zu 100 % weiterempfehlen. Das gesamte Personal war ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und abwechslungsreich. Das Hotel selbst ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, stets sauber und gepflegt. Während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts gab es absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Sollten wir wieder in diese Region reisen, werden wir ohne zu zögern erneut dieses Hotel buchen.

Travelled with family. Room was perfect, ambiance and setup with pool and restaurant had a nice tropical feel. Food was good. Well located. We recommend this hotel.

Questo piccolo hotel ha una splendida piscina, ideale per rinfrescarsi nei caldi pomeriggi. Le camere sono molto grandi, forse un po’ buie, ma accoglienti. La posizione è ideale per Siem Reap: a pochi passi dal mercato notturno e da tutti i ristoranti. Lo staff è sempre sorridente e gentile. Ci hanno aiutati a organizzare i tour per Angkor Wat (prezzi nella norma, 20$ per un tuktuk che ti porta in giro tutto il giorno).

Super friendly staff and great location in the middle of Siem Reap .

The staff were helpful and helped booked our airport transport and tuk-tuk tour. The morning breakfast was good and reasonably priced. The spa service was only great.

Unfortunately, the hotel was undergoing renovations of the roof at that time, and we were only informed of it on arrival. The work was supposed to be carried out from 9am to 5pm but on our first night of stay the worked began started at 6.50am. It was extremely noisy and worked us up. Nothing mentioned on booking.com or their website.

- Very loud ongoing construction work - Television in the room was not working - No hot water in the shower on one morning, but they fixed in the same day - Breakfast was rather limited Unfortunately, the construction work had a major impact on my stay. It was very loud, started early in the morning and made it difficult to relax or work during the day. It even woke me up early in the morning. I understand that construction work can happen, but for a hotel in this price range, this should have been clearly communicated before arrival. People come here to relax and often travel a long way, so for me this was a real no-go. The management tried to resolve the situation and offered me a free massage because I could not stay comfortably in the room due to the noise. I appreciated the gesture, and while the massage itself was okay, I did not feel fully comfortable with the setup at times. Overall, considering the price, the construction noise and the other issues during my stay, I personally would not come back or recommend the hotel at the moment. It also did not look like the construction work would stop anytime soon.

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique au Moon Residence Hotel. La chambre était excellente : joliment décorée, d'une propreté impeccable, très confortable et dotée d'équipements de grande qualité. Le personnel était très aimable et serviable, toujours prêt à nous aider avec le sourire. Le service a été irréprochable de l'arrivée au départ, et l'espace piscine, très paisible, était un véritable atout. À recommander vivement.

La piscine et le spa, un vrai cocoon.

Juste il y avait des travaux dans l’hôtel le matin tôt. Très surprenant la première fois mais tellement fatiguée la deuxième nuit ok.

This is a lovely hotel and the staff where very good. I would go there again when there is not construction going on.

We had to leave this hotel as the construction happening at the hotel included jack hammer on the roof of our rooms. Really unbearable noise. There was nothing on booking.com that let me know this was occurring. I definitely would not have booked it if I had known.

Uwaga na oszustwo w tym hotelu. Zapłaciliśmy za pokoj o najwyższym standardzie , a dostalismy inny pokoj i bez okna, a z szyba zaklejona folią, gdyż na przeciw byly schody po ktorych chodzili wszyscy goście) najtańszy z oferty. Pokoj miał zepsutą toaletę co od razu zgłosiliśmy, ruchoma muszle i spalona żarówkę łazience ( a byla tylko jedna ).Ponieważ przyjechaliśmy późno w nocy personel to wykorzystał i zameldował nas w tańszym pokoju. Po wniesieniu roszczeń i pokazaniu, że zapłaciliśmy za ten droższy pokój o znacznie wyższym standardzie , pokazaliśmy zdjecia i rezerwacje booking i zapewnilismy, że nie wybieraliśmy tego tańszego Pani menager z łaską stwierdzila, że wynajęty przez nas pokoj jest zajęty, co nie bylo prawda gdyż pokazalismy, że byl i jest pusty. Po dłuższych i niemilych rozmowach Pani menager zgodziła się zmienić nam pokoj na ten za który zapłaciliśmy, ale mysielismy czekac do wieczora. Za ponad dobę spędzona w tańszym pokoju nikt nie zwrócił nam pieniedzy. Uwaga, takie traktowanie klienta jest niedopuszczalne, zapłaciliśmy więcej, pokój byl wolny, a hotel celowo dal nam tańszy licząc na to, że skoro późno przyjedziemy to nie zwrócimy uwagi i nie będziemy mieli siły poruszać dalej tego tematu. Nie polecam.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and well designed. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and both the housekeeping staff and the hotel team were attentive and helpful.

Because the hotel is surrounded by lush greenery and has a large pool area, there were a lot of mosquitoes. Even with insect repellent, we still got bitten frequently. The main issue was that major construction work was taking place on the third floor during our stay. The noise was significant, and it was impossible to rest at the hotel between 7 AM and 5 PM. We often wanted to return during the hottest part of the day to relax, but the construction made that difficult. It was disappointing that we were not informed in advance, especially since the payment had already been taken before arrival. To the hotel’s credit, the management made several gestures to help ease the situation, which we appreciated. However, if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay, I would recommend contacting the hotel before booking to confirm whether the construction work has been completed.

Best and most friendly staff ever. Restaurant is yummy and affordable, rooms so big and nicely designed.

Some renovation was going on but was understandable. There was no phone to call the staff but a WhatsApp option was given that was very helpful. So appreciated this workaround

Amazing stay with brilliant location within the city. The property itself is truly amazing- like an urban jungle - which provides the perfect environment to relax after busy days of temple exploring! Staff is wonderfully friendly. Highly recommend!

We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel . It was absolutely amazing and beautiful garden. We loved swimming pool and green garden around . Our driver also was great .

Het personeel, met name Saly, Len, Tola, Pich en Lee. Ze waren ontzettend behulpzaam. De kamer was ruim, schoon en comfortabel. Het restaurant had een goed menu met, voor ons, zeer redelijke prijzen. De cocktails waren heerlijk en ze hadden zelfs happy hour. De spa was schoon en de massages goed.

I would choose this hotel if I return to Siem Reap . It’s like paradise in the forest . Location is in the city center of Siem Reap.

Alles was in orde! Het personeel was zeer vriendelijke en behulpzaam, ontbijt en het menu van het eten was super lekker, faciliteiten waren perfect en de kamer was proper en comfortabel.

Ze hadden ons laten weten dat ze aan het werken waren op het dak van het hotel tussen 10am en 5pm. Eén van de ochtenden begonnen ze al om 7am. Dit was zeer vroeg! Gelukkig is dit maar tijdelijk!

FYI tourist trap at the moment. They have a massively noisy construction site right now which made my stay impossible. They are well aware and could have communicated it in advance. Otherwise lovely rooms, from what I have briefly seen. The staff were super amazing! Friendly, and helpful. Food is ok. But wasn't able to stay there due to the noise. Airport pickup was hell. The driver hit on me and started scrolling social media while driving. It went from "oh are you alone, you look so pretty" to "do you want to make some Cambodian friends tonight?" After I complained it was downplayed as Cambodian friendliness and "he was just looking at Telegram for work" - he wasn't, he was scrolling facebook or something else and I had to tell him to stop. As a single female traveller I didn't feel very safe in this area. Paradise inside, poverty outside. Other areas will be better. There are no sidewalks on the road. Without noise this would have a been a nice hotel, but I doubt the ethical practices of this place if they let such a thing happen. Check for construction noise before booking. They won't tell you otherwise. Every time I am in Cambodia, hotels have always been quick to take the money and let problems quietly unfold later on.

Such amazing staff, so helpful and kind. The grounds are amazing and very clean. The massages are great! The restaurant had lots of choices for food and the cocktails were fresh and amazing tasting. Would 1000% stay here again!! A special thanks to these staff members for making our trip extra special; Saly, Len, Tola, Pich and Lee!!
