Ondanks de ligging aan ingang Yosemite Nationaal Park is het 45 minuten rijden tot bezienswaardigheden in het park. De mooiste uitzichten zoals Glacier Point liggen op 1,5 uur rijden.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Very comfy bed, great salt water pool and spa, trails around the area that start at the hotel, large rooms, friendly staff, kid-friendly. Very well-thought through hotel, including washing machines for guest use, a spa, play ground for kids and much more.

The food at the onsite restaurant is underwhelming.

We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend it for a Yosemite trip. The location is fantastic, just outside the entrance to Yosemite National Park, making it a really convenient base for exploring. We also did one of the lodge’s guided tours of Yosemite and really enjoyed it. Our guide was friendly and incredibly informative, and we visited some of the park’s key highlights including Glacier Point, El Capitan and Yosemite Valley. It was a great way to see and learn more about the park. The lodge itself has a lovely relaxed, communal atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the evenings with everyone sitting around the fire pits making s’mores. The restaurant food was very good, the bar had some great cocktails, and the general store was excellent with a surprisingly good selection of drinks, sandwiches, snacks and everyday essentials. The spa was another highlight — beautiful facilities, very clean and relaxing, and we had some really lovely massages. There’s also plenty for children to do, including the treehouse climbing area and games room and playground with zip lines. Pool area also fab with a large hot tub, perfect post hike. Excellent hotel manager who promptly dealt with a small issue that we had. Overall, a really comfortable, well-run lodge with great facilities, lovely staff and a wonderful atmosphere. A perfect base for experiencing Yosemite. Highly recommend and would return

Zwembad en bubbelbaden zijn proper en goed. Speeltuin is leuk en gameroom (met pooltafel, kicker, pinbal, ...) is gratis en in orde. Elke dag gratis smores aan de bbq voor iedereen. Proper hotel, groot restaurant, groot café, winkel aan de receptie met alle belangrijkste zaken. Ruime parking en mooie omgeving.

Prijs/kwaliteit is zeker niet naar verhouding. 2850euro voor 6 nachten (augustus) is veel te duur voor deze lokatie. Het is 50-60min rijden naar Yosemite Village. Ontbijt voor 4 personen was niet inbegrepen, dus als je van het buffet wilt eten, kost het nog eens 32dollar (zonder tax) pp. Je kan ook een omelet van de menu bestellen, maar ook dit is 21 dollar. Avond eten idem : buffet aan het zwembad was 32dollar, maar dit was nog aanvaardbaar van prijs. Een hamburger in het restaurant bestellen was 18dollar. Flesje water bestellen : 4 dollar. Kortom : reken maar op een prijskaartje van 3500euro voor 4 personen als je hier een week wilt blijven. Zijn er alternatieven in de buurt? Weinig, maar als je in Yosemite Village zelf verblijft, dan zijn de verblijven misschien minder fancy, maar je bent dan ten minste dichter bij alles.

the games room was a bit "worn out" - some of the little kids games were broken or incomplete (same in the rooms). parts of the big slide were dangerously hot. the sound system vs. the toilet sound in the lodge.. we would hear the neighbours upstairs going to the bathroom at 6.3am...

Das Hotel war hervorragend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Anlage super schön. Es gibt einen Spielraum, der für Kinder und Jugendliche Beschäftigung bietet. Vor allem für die Zeit nach dem Nationalpark am Nachmittag. Im Hotel-Store kann man Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs kaufen (hochpreisig, aber gut, da ist man auch wirklich weg vom Schuss). Das Pool ist sehr groß, leider aber viel zu kalt. Was der einzige Minuspunkt an unserem Aufenthalt war. Wir waren 4 Nächte in diesem Hotel und hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer. Wenn man das Programm dort in Anspruch nehmen möchte, sollte man unbedingt im Voraus buchen. Wir haben eine private Tour in den Nationalpark gebucht. Die Tour hat einiges gekostet, hat sich aber wirklich ausgezahlt. Der Guide hat uns an die Plätze gebracht, die wir in den Tagen davor noch nicht selbst besucht hatten und uns viel über den Park erzählt.

Beautiful forest setting close to Yosemite. Lots to do for kids and we did one of the trails around the hotel. Room was great. Cosy and spacious with coffee maker, fridge, lovely toiletries and balcony was perfect with forest views. The smores darling the campfire were a lovely addition to the end of the day.

Food in tavern was tasty buy not always very warm. My son had the Kids buffet which was great value but said it was cold and the fries I had were tepid so had to eat them quick.

Amazing hotel with fantastic facilities for all the family and great access to Yosemite.

The hotel is super nice and very close to the Yosemite entrance. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The shower is also nice with a glass door which makes much more modern. There is a lot of things for families like pool, playground for smaller and bigger kids. The restaurant is also good with options for everyone. The hotel offers also a buffet by the pool which was delicious and everyday there is a new food offer. The general store had great options of coffee for all tastes.

We had a problem of toilet clogging. It was solved quickly which was great, but as every toilet that gets clogged also gets dirty. The toilet was not cleaned in all the days we were there (3 nights). I requested to be cleaned, but unfortunately nothing happened. Also like every hotel, there is the option of using the towels for more days if you hang it. We did hang our towels everyday, but everyday they were changed. So the sign in the bathroom doesn’t really work for anything. Besides that everything was great.

Beautiful setting just outside Yosemite entrance. Very comfortable beds, in a nice 2 bed villa. Nice pool area, although very busy! Great place for kids, especially younger ones than ours, who were in their teens. Good food in the Tavern & restaurant.

There could have been more sun beds around the pool, as there was plenty of room, and it was very busy. The room cleaning was a bit hit and miss, as we were missed one day because they came so late, about 6pm when we were all showering, and the next day hadn’t been before we got back from a day out, again about 6pm. A very nice receptionist called Daisy did help with this when I asked about the daily room cleaning though, by giving us a voucher to spend in the bar or shop, as an apology.

The rooms were great, as well as the other amenities. Nightly smores and kids playroom were great (would have loved more toddler toys though!). Staff was very nice and helpful and stay was great overall!

Our biggest issue was the food. The promised daily BBQ was canceled without notice, same with the pool bar being closed. Generally felt like the kids offerings were not very varied or healthy (buffet with burgers, hot dogs, corndogs, corn, mac and cheese and fruit).

Le sofa n'était malheureusement pas confortable pour nos 2 enfants (11 et 9 ans), matelas fin et structure bruyante.

C'est avant tout un hôtel destiné aux familles et ill faut s'attendre à trouver beaucoup d'enfants actifs, notamment dans la piscine !

Bij ons ging beide nachten het brandalarm af, en telefonisch was er niemand te bereiken, dat was niet handig. Deze vervelende situatie is heel netjes gecompenseerd door de manager!

We stayed in a room with a king sized bed and a sofa bed. The regular king sized bed was very comfortable but the mattress on the sofa bed was not and you could feel all the springs on the bed! For a couple of nights it was ok but couldn’t have spent more nights on that bed.

The place is beautiful, even much better than in the pics. Food is delicious, people working there so welcoming and always helpful. They have plenty of games and activities for kids.

The windows on the bedroom don’t have opaque curtains so a lot of light (event at night) comes in.

Proximity to Yosemite National Park.

We stayed here for three nights, and out of the seven places we stayed during our three-week holiday in the USA, this was by far the most expensive—and unfortunately the only one I would not stay at again. Don’t be deceived by the photos. The price simply does not reflect what you actually get. For what we paid, I expected a much higher standard of accommodation and service. The room felt very tired and poorly maintained. It looked like it hadn’t been properly deep-cleaned in years, and our toilet even had visible stains. The sofa bed was another major disappointment—the mattress was little more than exposed springs. Ours sagged so badly that it felt like sleeping in a hammock made of springs. The biggest issue, however, was that the hotel made an unauthorised charge to my credit card. I am still waiting for the refund. I have now called the hotel four times and sent two emails. I was told the refund would be processed, but it still has not been completed. Despite all this effort, I have not received a single apology for the unauthorised charge or the inconvenience it has caused. Nothing frustrates me more than an unauthorised charge on my credit card, and the complete lack of ownership and communication has made the situation even worse. When we arrived, we checked in a little later in the evening, and there was only one person at reception. As a result, we had to push the luggage trolley ourselves, which wasn’t the level of service I expected from a property charging premium rates.

Beautiful lodge in the middle of nature! The rooms were very nicely decorated. We loved the game room for the kids and the range of activities proposed. Trill at the info desk was super helpful and gave us very good recommandations for walks and hikes.

The pool was nice for the kids. The room was good although the air conditioning couldn't keep the room properly cool overnight. The buffet was very good, but very expensive.

Cost of the stay was too high relative to the value received. We'd stay there again, but off season to take advantage of a lower cost overall.

I loved the location and peaceful atmosphere. The food was excellent. The shop with nexessary essentials was very usefu to have on the site. The pool is a bonus after long day of hiking.The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great time. Will definitely recommend for others to sray. Lovely place to spend a break in.

Todo perfecto. Es un hotel con mucho encanto, con instalaciones de todo tipo, habitación cómoda. Lo mejor para niños la hoguera con malvaviscos. Está a 5 min de la entrada del parque de Yosemite.

Sehr schöne Zimmer und gut ausgestattet. Toller Pool und die Lage ist wirklich schön. Das Spielzimmer war auch mit tollen Spielen ausgestattet.

Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer sowie die Rückkühler auf dem Balkon waren extrem laut. Weiter waren das Frühstück sowie das Abendessen sehr teuer. Da es im Umkreis von 10km nichts anderes gibt, bleibt einem keine andere Wahl.

We loved our stay at Rush Creek. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. We enjoyed the pool very much. Our son loved the zip lines also. The proximity to the Yosemite entrance was great. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Yosemite. The only thing I think could use some improvement was the restaurant/tavern. It was very hard to get dinner reservations there. It would be cool if the resort offered a standing dinner reservation for families, kind of like cruise dining. We enjoyed getting a quick bite in the morning at the general store.

A big thank you to Daisy whose positive warm and welcoming attitude marked a difference. The hotel is nice and the location is also good. Has several amenities such as a spa, game room and pool that are nice.

Its unacceptable that a hotel offers such poor quality beds. The beds have old mattresses and the sleeper is a lack of respect towards guest. Its literally a torture and you cant sleep and its a torture for your back. We found a ball of hair in the shower. There are not even bottles of water or basic amenity kits in the bathrooms. The spa has the rudest most unpleasant staff i ever encountered.

It’s a nice hotel but clearly family focussed. Lots of children so don’t book if looking for quiet or romantic stay. Main issue for us was the room not being cleaned by 5pm. We would go to parks at 6am returning after 3pm each day shattered to find room not serviced. Had to request priority servicing which sorted the problem after 3 days. They clearly don’t have enough cleaning staff or start the daily process too late. Also objected to paying for milk for tea or coffeee on room. Should be complementary given the room charge.

Food was fair especially at that price point. $30per person for breakfast buffet was outrageously overpriced

Spent 4 nights here with my hubby to celebrate our anniversary. It was lovely. The spa was fantastic. Highly recommend it! SO close to Yosemite. S'mores every night. Games, pool, hot tubs, cocktails, comfortable beds with lots of room and balconies. Fun evening activities. Great for families with kids too!

Location is fairly convenient on 120 west entrance, although it's still 25 winding miles to the valley and with heavy traffic and seasonal road repairs and tree work it can take well over an hour. Rooms are very nicely appointed and clean, although there's likely a hike up a hill with your luggage, and no elevators. Not much parking convenient to each room. Very expensive, probably 25-30% overpriced, which probably explains why there were vacancies in the height of tourist season.

The property needs a face lift! Run down the beds are horrible!!! The pullout couch for my son felt as though your sleeping right on the springs. We notified the front desk manager and they did supply us with a 4” topper but you shouldn’t have to ask and they definitely were not happy! Furthermore, two out of all the employees looked happy to be there. The front desk Daisy absolutely wonderful and Lucas the dining room waiter fabulous, the rest need hospitality lessons!

We had a wonderful experience at Rush Creek Lodge for a 6 day family vacation, with a total of 12 people including 2 tweens, 4 young adults, and 6 adults. The setting is gorgeous. Access to the park is easy and convenient. The villa we stayed in was pricey but worth it -- clean and spacious and set away from the main hotel (which had a lot of younger kids). What prompted me most to write a review was the friendliness of every single staff person we met. From Daisy at checkin, to Ari the yoga instructor, to all the maintenance and cleaning staff-- and the great staff at the Recreation Desk -- EVERYONE was incredibly friendly and helpful. I do not know who does their hospitality training but it was spot on. The spa was pricey but great. Full-day access with the purchase of a massage. Which was just what we needed. Hiking trails around the hotel offered amazing views and amazing birdwatching. One other thing worthy of mention -- the Aqua Zen class at 6:15 AM. A meditation/movement class in the hot tub, led again by Ari. It was so cool. The ONLY thing they need to fix: They need variety for the food offerings. There are 2 restaurants -- but they are side by side, and oddly, have the exact same menu. With a 6 night stay, we got kind of bored of the same food. And there are no other close restaurants. So 2 different menus really would make sense. All in all, a great trip, would do it again in a heartbeat.

No wine glasses in the room-they would only give them to you if you bought their Romance Package. Children were all over the hot tubs with no oversight. They should not be allowed in the hot tub. Kids were also constantly diving into the pool even though there were signs that stated no diving making the pool loud. The spa circuit was quite full-not enough beds for everyone to use. It didn’t feel like the bed area was kept particularly clean ( cups and used napkins everywhere).

So much fun for the family. We enjoyed hiking in Yosemite in the mornings, and then returning to the pool, kids crafts and lodge for dinner. Very family friendly, our kids loved it and it was fun to let them enjoy the grounds!

Leider keine Möglichkeit den Pool zu Nutzen. Die wenigen Liegen mit Sonnenschirm waren belegt. In der Sonne war es mit Kind nicht auszuhalten. Auch auf mehrfache Ansprache des Perosnals war kein Schirm und keine Liege aufzutreiben. Definitiv zu wenige Liegen für die Anzahl der Zimmer. Ein No-Go bei dem Preis.

Beautiful resort. About 45 minutes to Yosemite Valley. Lots of activities available at resort including pool, glass blowing, nightly s’mores, game room with shuffleboard and pool. Only downside is that the restaurant is a bit expensive and there aren’t any other options very close by. Closest options were at least 1/2 hour away.

Beautiful location, and beautiful place. The staff is terrific, the food is delicious. Our rooms were clean and spacious, with balconies overlooking the pool area, which is gorgeous. We also took the "Range of Light" tour into Yosemite with John as our guide; both the tour and John were wonderful. We hope to go back some day, and highly recommend this wonderful resort.

Perfect place to with a family visiting Yosemite. The hotel was one of the highlights of the trip for my daughter.

Had an amazing stay after a long couple of days in Yosemite national Park. Pool is heated at sunset they brought out the s’mores for the kids and made it very memorable. They have an awesome Obie course several hiking trails. My wife and I enjoyed the spa and massage treatments while the kids played in the pool. Only a few few minutes from the gate of Yosemite national Park if you want to explore both entrances.

We loved our stay at Rush Creek Lodge. It’s super close and convenient to the park, the rooms are very comfortable and the amenities are excellent. In the mornings, we filled our water packs at the hotel while ordering lattes and getting to-go breakfast sandwiches. And in the evenings, we enjoyed eating at the restaurant after returning from the park. They have snores by the fire each night as well if you’re up for that. We really enjoyed our night of star gazing as well. Highly recommended!

We always suggest Rush Creek. It's location to the Yosemite entrance and proximity to the charming town of Groveland makes it a great home base. There's so much to do on the property, it's very family friendly, the restaurant is excellent and everyone who works there radiates good vibes, excellent service and welcoming personalities. We didn't go this time, but the spa is amazing, possibly one of my most favorites. The only complaint, and I've said it for years now, and honestly, its prevented us from coming at times, we warn our friends (who always agree) the beds suck. They are so hard and uncomfortable. Knowing this, for this last trip, I brought a memory foam pad I purchased on Amazon to off set the discomfort. Also, as a native Californian I get the low flow shower, however I end up using so much more water by taking a much, much longer shower trying to get clean.... it is reminiscent of a classic Jerry Sinefield episode.

Super clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Very well kept premises. Excellent restaurant on site. Great amenities. Staff is friendly. The views from the balcony is unbeatable. The proximity of the hotel to the Yosemite park is totally worth the somewhat expensive price tag.

My one and only nitpick would be the loud portable AC unit in the smaller bedroom (villa). It is IMPOSSIBLE to sleep when the AC is on, if you are sensitive to noise. Take that into consideration if you are booking a villa in summer. I don't understand why they have not invested in a proper split AC unit. Luckily the weather was not warm and we didn't have to run the AC. I also didn't like that I got a message from some AI agent upon check-in. It cheapens your offering and feels like you don't care about your guests (which I know you do).

Great amenities and an excellent place to rest and recover after hiking in Yosemite.

The staffs were exceptionally accomodative with our requirements. They were always keen and ready to help. The room was clean and tastefully done. It had all the basic amenities needed. The ambience and vibe was spot on.

The only disadvantage was the distance from Yosemite national park and travelling to and fro definitely needs a personal/rental car

The rooms are very spacious & comfortable. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes drive from the park entrance gate. The general store has a lot of options. The staff are very friendly.

The restaurant. Service was very slow even when the restaurant was quiet. Quality of food is poor & it was cold by the time it got to the table.

Beautiful resort. We stayed in a king villa room. Make sure to ask for a room near the pool and restaurant. We had a steep hill to navigate to our room and we were farthest away feom main building. The double king room was perfect for us and our adult child. Th deck was nice to hang out on. The sunset deck did not disappoint for beautiful sunsets every night. One negative is that you are stuck eating at the resort because nothing else is close.food and drinks are expensive.

The setting and hotel itself is beautiful - the pool and hot tubs were wonderful after a busy day out exploring. S’mores were a great touch.

We booked a suite for 4 of us, however when we arrived, we were told we needed to set up the sofa bed ourselves. We also booked a suite with a fireplace but it was broken and only fixed on our final night. When we hired bikes, the bike was broken. The Tavern food options are fine, however quality was not great. We had four cold meals come out.

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. You just won’t find anything anywhere else with this sort of vibe. They really have thought of everything!

A wonderful treat!!! My husband & I usually stay “in the park,” but we were late with our reservations and were unable to get a hotel room. What a lucky break!!! Rush Creek was a HUGE surprise and a luxury. Beautifully appointed rooms, lobby, restaurant and gathering spaces. Super friendly staff, a fully stocked gift/grocery shop, great dining options, super cocktails, an outstanding pool with 2 hot tubs AND laundry facilities!!! You name it, they already thought of it! This place is a dream for families with kids. So much for them to do!!!! I wholeheartedly recommend Rush Creek Lodge!

Amazing place to stay! Beautiful hotel, excellent food, and a fantastic atmosphere throughout our visit. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always made us feel welcome. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organised, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

The lodge offers the perfect combination of natural immersion with high quality accommodation. Our villa layout exceeded our expectations for the value, and the restaurant, bar, and pool area made us excited to return "home" from our days of park exploration. The recreation center personnel were also amazing in arming us with the information required to fully enjoy our days in the park.
