Dream Mango Villa

Small intimate boutique resort with very friendly owner and staff. Everyone was very accommodating. I would stay here again.

We stayed here for 6 nights over Christmas and had a fantastic time. Harry and his staff truly value and look after their guests. The pool is beautiful and the tropical gardens are lovely. The rooms are large and the aircon was cold. The daily breakfast is also good, with eggs, fresh fruits, breads, juice and coffee all available. Harry is a wonderful host and we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent drinking (many) beers with him and other guests by the pool. From our checkin beers to "the last one", Harry went out of his way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The location is great. A short walk into town, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Harry helped arrange various activities and ensured our bus out of Siem Reap knew exactly where to collect us from. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. You will not be disappointed.

I have stayed at this property 3 times now. It is a wonderful oasis in Siem Reap. Harry the owner can't do enough for his guests & the staff are very humble. There is nothing to not like about this wonderful hotel. The gardens are beautiful & rooms are a good size each with a veranda. It is a short 10 min it walk to the main area of town or a short tuk tuk ride. The area is quiet, just the place to unwind after a long day of touring. 10 out of 10 for me.

It is an amazing property. Staffs are extremly good and helpful. We met the owner and he was there to make sure all guests needs are met. He kept asking his staff and to the guest of all the need of them and helping them at each stage. Truly a home feeling with professionalism in hospitality. The pool, guardens well maintained, so good to recommend.

Beautifull, family friendly. Simply amazing!

Breakfast was dire, not properly catering for aEuropean taste, more annoying was that a Khmer breakfast wasn’t on offer. The manager smoking a cigarette whilst in the pool, was a sight I would like to forget. The fridge in the room was of the wet wall type, which meant we had the noise of the compressor kicking in all night. The bathroom was close to being dangerous, with the floor being on 2 levels. A small step is not safe in the bathroom. Why have pebbles around the bath, another hazard. The TV in the room did not work because the aerial lead was loose. The safe was faulty and we had to carry keys around with us as electronic numbers could not be input.

A very relaxing experience with wonderful hosts - Peter and Van who went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. My wife wasn’t feeling well and they were very caring. All the staff were friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests.we can’t rate this lovely hotel highly enough. Incredible value with very reasonably priced meals and drinks.

Excellent location within walking distance or tuk tuk ride to the centre. Peaceful tranquil place with a lovely pool surrounded by flowers. Friendly service and great food.

Lovely little place, clean and comfortable too. Great tuk tuk driver Tina will take you everywhere you need to go including the airport. Free airport pick up is a nice touch as you don’t have to try to find your way on arrival. Great location, quiet but within walking distance of pub street and very close to some good eating places. Strange set up at night, they insist you leave your keys at reception but then there’s nobody on the desk when you get back so everyone just helps themselves to keys? Not sure this is ideal. Owner is very friendly but as per other reviews can be a little over powering at times. “Don’t give them their keys” springs to mind when he wanted us to get into a drinking session with him rather than go to our room?? The plants around the pool could do with a cull, they are in the way, obstruct the walk way and interfere with relaxing on the sun beds. Only one sunbed per downstairs room isn’t enough so you may not get a bed to relax on.

This hotel is quite unique. Harry, the owner is a former lawyer from Switzerland who loves to talk with his guests. With a large number of languages at his command and an endless supply of free beer, check in regularly takes three hours or more. Harry introduces all of his guests to one another at every opportunity and gets them involved in wide ranging discussions. We met Germans, French, Indian, Sri Lankan, Hungarian, British and American visitors. In six nights and with only 10 rooms, that is an achievement. Many guests return here each time they visit. We certainty wouldn't stay anywhere else should we return. There are good local restaurants and it is a 20 minute walk from Pub Street. Harry can arrange taxis and reliable tuk tuk drivers for very reasonable prices. There is a pleasant, small, pool in a pretty courtyard garden, where white rabbits help keep the vegetation trim.

British, couple in early twenties. This hotel is perfect in everyway! Firstly, the location is brilliant, we felt very safe the whole time. The centre of town is only a 10 minute walk away, or a $2 tuk tuk if you're tired. The walk to town is lined with restaurants so you're never far away from food if you want to venture out. The hotel is a small one, only about 10 rooms, which we loved as the experience felt very personal, we spoke to all the other guests, as well as the manager, Mr Mango (the cutest dog ever) and Harry (according to my girlfriend, the second cutest dog ever). Harry was an incredible host, organised all of our trips for us, arranged our airport transfers, provided a very nice breakfast, made us a pack lunch in beautiful woven picnic baskets for the sunrise tour of the temples and much more. The pool was beautiful to go in after a day exploring, the room was impeccably clean and best of all, Harry ensured that we always had a cold beer in our hands at all times. Would like to thank Mr Mango, Harry and all his staff for making our trip extra special :)

We had a great stay at Dream Mango Villa. We were picked up from the airport and taken by Tuktuk to the Villa where we were greeted by Harry with a cold beer and a warm welcome. Our villa was beautiful. From the villa we were able to walk to shops and restaurants and even into the markets in town about fifteen minutes away. We can't speak highly enough of Harry and his staff. The daily "happy hours" were a great way to get to know the other guests and learn of their travel experiences. Ten out of ten.

We had the best time at Dream Mango! Harry is such a wonderful host and interesting guy. He will greet you with a lot of beer and will not let your beer glass get close to being empty. Staying here feels like you are staying in his home. He has the cutest dog named Mister Mango who lounges on the pool furniture and a bunch of bunnies that just hop around. The pool and grounds are beautiful. The hotel is down a random ally a little bit from pub street which concerned me at first but it turned out to be a wonderful location. You experience a different Siem Reap than normal tourists and pub street is a short 10 minute walk away. We highly recommend to young people traveling with friends or as a couple.

Lovely place! Rooms, food and pool are great. Harry is a tireless host who wants to ensure your needs are met.

Decided to stay here due to previous superb reviews and was not disappointed. Staff were friendly and helpful, location is great (within 10 mins walk to the central areas with restaurants and markets). Will help to arrange tour to the temples etc - highly recommended. The free beers were most welcome too. Hopefully can return in future!

The Best hotel I have been in Ásia. Thanks a lot to henry and his team!!

A lovely small villa hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I could say a lot of wonderful things about Dream Mango Villa, but want to keep this little gem a secret!

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every bit of it . It’s like a big happy family. Harry and his staff are fantastic would do anything for you . Harry it was lovely having a beer with you and so glad we meet we will be back !! I would highly recommended this hotel .

We where picked up from the airport by a tuk tuk after arranging a collection with Harry, this was included in the price. That was a amazing. You ride through town, through side streets, up a track and arrive at a little oasis. Harry the owner and his team are so helpful, I can not stress enough that nothing is to much trouble for them. Harry is such a character, he so much wants his guests to have a good time and get to know fellow guests, He gives away endless free beer. Our flight out was in the evening and we where able to use the room until 5.00pm without any extra charge. The only negative, is the villa is a small walk (10- 15 minutes) from town, but at 2 dollars for a tuk tuk its not worth worrying about. Its also was so good having a pool as the weather is hot and after a day out at the temples its lovely to return for a swim. Thank you Harry, for making our stay feel more like staying with family then just a holiday villa.

A nice Guest House in a good setting with friendly and helpful owner and staff and a great atmosphere that encourages interaction with fellow travellers

Harry is the best host and his staff is amazing. Great breakfast and beautiful grounds. I will stay here every time I’m in Siem Reap.

We don't normally review but the stay we had at Dream Mango Villa was truely exceptional. The hospitality from all the staff and the owner Harry really made it a special visit, the atmosphere in the whole hotel was wonderful. The rooms were beautifully designed and very clean, the breakfasts were tasty with eggs cooked to perfection and the pool area was great for relaxing. Lovely and quiet at bedtime and not too far a walk from great restaurants and town. Take us back!

We loved our stay here. The most comfortable bed we've slept in Cambodia, helpful friendly staff and a very welcoming owner. Would highly recommend.

An oasis of tranquillity following your daily adventures in and around Siem Reap, the legendary Harry will provide a Beer and introduce new guests to everyone, including mango the dog. Good location not to far from Pub street.

Dream Mango is a lovely oasis away from the heat. It is very safe as there is always somebody at the front gate. It's easy to walk to town but the streets are dark at night and there are no sidewalks. However there are plenty of tuktuks that will take you for about $2. You also have a driver at your disposal if you want one for the day. The staff are very accommodating and help with all arrangements. I loved the pool and cleanliness of the property.

I really enjoyed my 5 day here. The gardens are lovely as are the staff, they are so friendly & helpful. The room was spotless & had everything I needed, the pictues doesn't do the rooms justice they have everything you need in them. Harry the manager really does look after his guests & nothing is a problem. The guests come first & Harry & his staff makes sure of that. It's a short tuk tuk ride to the main area for $2 but walkable if you wish. I fell in love with the resident dog Mango. It's like coming home. All the positive reviews I read were very accurate & the hotel didn't disappoint. I would definitely stay here again with out question. I travel a lot & have stayed in many hotels & this was one of the best for service.

The owner of the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. I also organized my driver to Siem Reap through the hotel. The only downside was it was pretty far removed from the goings-on of Siem Reap (20 min walk, $2 tuk tuk ride each way), but that did mean it was nice and quiet, which I liked. The included airport pick up was great, and I used them to go back to the airport too.

Fantastic welcome by Harry, staff very helpful and extremely friendly. Absolutely loved my stay at Dream Mango. Would definitely stay there again.

Harry, the manager welcomed us with lots of ice cold beer which was very welcome after a hot tuk tuk ride from the airport which was a wonderful experience. Harry was a really friendly chap who made sure that you were introduced to all the other guests and all the wonderful staff and was pivotal in making sure that all our sightseeing trips were arranged without any hitches which we loved. The pool was a blessing after a days sightseeing. Harry would always make sure through the bartender, Concay that the beers and gin and tonics were flowing. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really loved our tuk tuk driver Mr Con who made sure that all our sightseeing trips went without a hitch and made sure that he didn't lose us amongst the crowds of people. If we ever go back to Siem Reap we would definitely stay here again and we would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes to be socialable and wants a quite place to stay. There are good restaurants within walking distance but the tuk tuk drivers who are close by are always available to take you anywhere at a low cost. Thank you so much Harry and staff for a fabulous holiday.

We chose this hotel after reading the reviews about it. And it's all true. This is a wonderful little boutique hotel but what makes it so unique is the owner, Harry. Harry is a friendly gregarious guy who is very welcoming and genuinely interested in people. He takes the time everyday to chat with all the guests and in the afternoon offers complimentary beer by the pool. This friendliness flows onto the guests and in fact when we arrived we were welcomed by 2 guests who were passing through reception at the time! The pool is surrounded by a lovely tropical garden and is perfect to cool off after a day of sightseeing. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed, though our bed was a little firmer than we preferred. Breakfast is included and was a nice combination of local dishes, fresh fruit, toast and eggs anyway you want. They also have an all day menu which included local and western dishes. 2 must trys are the Tom Yum Soup and the Mango smoothie. Delicious! The city centre is only 10 minutes walk away but there is always a tuk tuk waiting at the front gate if you need a ride. Harry was very efficient at making sure we got to the airport on time. This is a hotel where nothing is too much trouble and you'll leave feeling like you want to come back again soon. Thanks Harry and Gongeer.

We loved our stay at Dream Mango Villa. The property is gorgeous and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, and the pool is heavenly. Mango the dog was very fun. And the best part was Harry, the manager, who is an absolute delight.

Fantastic property. Very well kept, sparkling swimming pool, clean rooms, free breakfast. Best of all was the great owner who was very engaging, incrediblyou well traveled, speaks five languages, and loves to talk to his guests.

We booked the Dream Mango Villa because of all the great reviews and it did not disappoint. We were picked up from the airport by their tuk tuk driver and were welcomed by the Swiss owner with some great cold beer. The feeling at this place is so hospitable. The owner takes great care that everything is perfect and he is quite a jolly guy. His dog Mango is also delightful. There is a fantastic French restaurant right next door and the breakfast at the Hotel is very good as well. To get to the center we took a 6 minute Tuk Tuk but the distance was OK considering the hotel was wonderfully quiet. The garden and pool are really relaxing. I wish we had stayed longer. I will definitely book it again on our next visit to Siem Reap.

Dream Mango is clean, pleasant, nicely decorated and landscaped. The whole facility is not as big as the pictures might lead you to believe, but that is definitely not a detriment unless you enjoy large, anonymous hotels. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is away from the chaos and noise of the highly trafficked areas but is nicely walkable to Pub Street. A very nice spa (Sarai) and restaurant (George's) are half block away. More casual restaurants are a little further. If you are not a walker, the tuk tuk drivers at Mango are great guys and it is cheap and easy to get anywhere. Shout out to Mango the puppy! He's a sweetheart! :)

From start the staff were v attentive and friendly. Harry is a great host - and won't take no for an answer when it comes to his ' check in drink'!. Surprisingly quiet at night for busy place like siem Reap and as it's small hotel you get to meet and talk with other guests at breakfast.

This would have to be the best small hotel I have stayed in - anywhere!! Harry the owner is an incredibly generous, funny and thoughtful host. It's more like being a guest in someone's house than a hotel. And the staff were fantastic with a genuine service ethic.

Great stay, lovely place great owner very welcoming. Only good things to say

Great hotel and great service. Harry the manger is a legend so welcoming and generous with the beers on check in :-) I ended up staying an extra 2 days nights I will defiantly be staying again . The hotel is small only 10 rooms all very clean and modern. The location is good a little bit out from pub street but easy to walk about 10 mins, it's even easier to get a tuk tuk and cheap there always available from the hotel the area was lovely and quite at night time. The pool was lovely after a long day exploring temples and Harry would always make sure you get a cold glass of water on the house I would defiantly recommend this hotel

I cannot say enough good things about Dream Mango Villa and its wonderful owner, Henry. You are getting way more than you are paying for with this place. It is a brand new villa with large, lovely rooms, a beautiful central pool surrounded by tropical plants, and a lovely dining area and spa. It is a beautiful, comfortable accommodation with highly attentive staff for an exceptionally reasonable price. The owner takes the time to personally greet every guest and makes every effort to ensure your stay is the best it can be, inviting guests to sit around the pool for a few on the house drinks in the evening. The area is about a 10 minute walk or a $2 tuk tuk ride to the center of town, and has several excellent restaurants within just a few blocks. The staff is more than happy to recommend food, activities, or arrange tours. Stay here!

Hotel rooms are spacious, clean and stylish. I didn't want for anything. The garden and pool were lovely.

We had a wonderful time in Siem Reap due mainly to our stay in this hotel. Harry the owner and his staff excelled in providing us a service you normally only get in a 5 star hotel. The place is spotless and clean and has all the modern conveniences you need. The breakfast was adequate with lunch and dinner also available if you just want to stay at the hotel. You can take a tuktuk to downtown or you can walk it if not hot. The hotel has a very nice environment where you can easily make new friends. We took our temple tours from the hotel and it was a good decision as we managed to see everything we wanted to see privately without rushing . We highly recommend this place .

This boutique hotel is a lovely oasis to return to after a hot day of roaming the nearby temple ruins. The owner Harry is extremely friendly and makes every effort to ensure you are comfortable. It has only been open a few months so they are still ironing out the kinks. He loves engaging with the guests and helping people feel welcome. We were always looking forward to getting back to the beautiful garden and pool after sweating our way through the heat of the day. The location is perfect. Near enough to town to walk easily and far enough away to be peaceful. There are a couple of great restaurants nearby, we had a great meal at Georges' (just up the road). Would recommend.

Dream mango was absolutely great to stay at. The staff were very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. The rooms were very clean, beautiful decor, and great touches such as hair dryer in the room and hot water. Close to busy downtown. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

There was nothing you wanted in this hotel Hun and his staff had everything there they where all very helpful .the food ,the rooms, the pool top noch would tell everybody about dream mango l have already passed out cards for this hotel and a big thankyou to harry who makes everybody feel at home

This beautifully designed and landscaped 10 room villa was perfect for us. Service was excellent, rooms were clean and comfortable with extra amenities like combs, razors, and toothbrushes, and breakfast outside on the cool thatched patio offered a variety of options including fresh fruit, eggs made to order, fresh juice, coffee, and Cambodian dishes. Two excellent restaurants are within walking distance. Swimming in the beautiful pool was a delight after hot tours of the temples. However, the best part of our experience was talking with Harry, our host, and visiting with guests from around the world. Truly an enlightening and enjoyable stay. We booked for 4 nights and stayed an extra day because we didn't want to leave. Many thanks to Harry and his attentive staff!

From the airport pick up when I arrived till the end of my stay I could not have asked for more. Harry, Hun and all the staff are great and very helpful with anything you need. Great help in helping me organize some tours. The hotel is very clean, stunning settings to relax in and great just spending some time relaxing by the pool. Only a short walk to the town centre and pub street. I really couldnt have wanted for anything else. I will definetley be back to stay again and my advice would be if they have rooms free on the dates you want book them. You wont do better in Siem Reap Thanks for a great stay guys John

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. It is a new hotel, and people there are friendly. Though small (10 rooms), but it makes a great difference to stay in a hotel like such which is attentive to its guests' needs. We enjoy in particular the breakfast session. Simple but nice breakfast, and the interaction with travelers from different parts of the world at the cosy breakfast place really make our day.

Pros: beautifully build. The owner is a very nice and easy to talk to person, he will help you with anything you need to make your stay comfortable. Very clean inside and out. About a 15 min walk to the night market. Lots of great amenities: mini fridge with water, beer, sodas, all free in your room. Free breakfast was good. Pool is nice and located outside by the lobby. Everything in the room worked well. Cons: The location of the property is incorrect on Expedia. It's new and not a lot of drivers are familiar with how to get there. But they offer a free shuttle from the airport so email them ahead for pick up. Easiest way if you are lost is to tell the driver it's by the Sarai hotel. It's just down the next street of that hotel.

Beautiful hotel with gardens and pool situated on a quiet street but walking distance to center of town. Had a great stay, highly recommend. And breakfast is so delicious

this newly opened small and charnming hotel offers everything you want for a perfect stay in Siem Reap and Ankor Wat. Spacious clean well equipped rooms. Within short walking distance to the city center. Friendly and competent staff.
