Personal amable, estancia correcta, limpieza bien.

El desayuno lo pedimos para llevar, y aunque es un detalle que te lo tengan preparado a las 5 AM, era bastante justito... La piscina estaba muy sucia, la terraza donde está la piscina está muy descuidada.

Sehr gute Lage im Zentrum, 250m zur Fähre nach Elephantine. Einfach, aber sauber. Sehr freundliches Personal, besonders die junge Dame an der Rezeption, die uns am Abend noch ein Taxi für 115 E£ zum Flughafen besorgte und sogar noch nach 10 min den Taxifahrer anrief, ob er uns gefunden habe, da das Hotel 100 von der Straße entfernt ist.

Der Pool ist nicht benutzbar (total veralgt). Frühstück bestand aus Brot, Schmelzkäse, Marmelade und Chips, aber wenigstens bekamen wir je 2 Becher Nescafe.

Personal no fue muy amable. Poco agua caliente. Hotel antiguo sin mantenimiento.

Прекрасное отношение. Вежливость. Ненавязчивость. Локация решает все. Напротив КФС, рядом Мак, все на набережной. Не надо никуда ехать. Просто выходи и иди гулять.

Отсутствие мыла и шампуни в номере. Лучше завтракать вне отеля в любом кафе. Для непритязательных туристов для которых нужно только переночевать.

The pool was the main reason for staying there but it was really uncared for and couldn’t be used. The water looked unchlorinated and had hadn’t been cleaned.

The location is good - near the promenade.

The bathroom was very dirty. Like almost every Egyptian, the staff wanted to get as much money as possible from us and charged my parents double the price we agreed upon arrival for the tour we booked at the hotel.

Great location, about a 15 minute walk from Aswan train station, and less than a minute from the public ferry to Elephantine Island, restaurants along the Nile river, Aswan Market. The hotel is located in pedestrian side street with stairs, not accessible by cars, but it’s only 50 meters from the main street with all transportation, so no big deal. The hotel lobby is a bit dark, but our room was very bright, with very practical arrangement of beds, closet, bench for suitcases, fridge. Room and bathroom not the newest but clean. We had a balcony with superb view of the Nile river and the Tombs of the Nobles!! Staff was amazing. Kudos to the receptionist Ramya who spoke perfectly English and gave excellent tips for local restaurants.

The property allowed us to check at 4am without problem, the staff is really kind and location very convenient .

The property is old and badly maintained, some cables seemed dangerous. I would not recommend for more than 1 night but the staff was really friendly and the price cheap.

Very nice staff, the room is basic but has everything you need. Location is great, other than the normal tours I really enjoyed walking around Aswan Old Souq that is next to Orchida and had delicious falafel there, some of the best I had in Egypt.

The Orchida has seen better days. It needs some maintenance, slow wifi (but at least there is wifi in the room which is rare in Egypt!) and shower not consistently hot. All typical problems in Egypt, nothing majorly inconvenient.

Well located, in the heart of Aswan. The crew was awesome with us. The installations are old, but everything was functional. We had a great view of the zone, including Nile river. I would repeat the accommodation if I return Aswan anytime.

Staff was nice and helpful. Got us a tour to Abu Simbel at a fair price.

Room was very cold, and the AC didn't work. The mattresses were totally torn apart :(. Very expensive for fair for what was offered.

I really liked this place! I found my room cosy and it was great to have a river view, fridge and instant hot water for the shower. The staff were so friendly and communication was always authentic and smooth. I did not get a chance to jump in the pool, but I did relax on the lovely rooftop – which conveniently also has bathrooms and sun loungers – for a spectacular view towards the souk and the hills. Around the corner to the left when leaving the hotel there is a nice coffee place to relax and behind the hotel going towards the souk lots of friendly people and a great falafel stand. If I ever go back to Aswan, I would book here.

We had to move rooms twice to get the family room we paid for. Aircon didn’t work too well in one of the rooms where we slept.

Do not stay here. This is the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Even the bedding was dirty! The shower and toilet were broken. The lift was broken and added to this you cannot access direct from the street but have to walk up a number of flights of steps

Stayed for 1 night before the cruise start period. There was a power cut for long hours in the night. Room was small. No wifi at all. The receptionist was hesitant to give wifi password

The hotel was as per my expectations overall. I had paid for an extremely cheap accommodation for a single night where we could just rest and freshen up and Orchida fit the bill. It is very close to the promenade/corniche and so the location was perfect for us to walk around and find good breakfast nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The bed and sheets were a little dirty and the room had a lizard or two in it. What is not mentioned in the description is that the hotel is not directly accessible via car. There is a large flight of stairs which you have to climb / go down (depending on the direction you go from) to reach the main gate. The hotel does send people to help carry luggage, but something to be aware of if you have very heavy luggage or people with accessibility issues. I was trying to get a car arranged for an airport pickup from the hotel, but the person on the other end of the message suddenly went AWOL for 12 hours before I landed so I had to manage it on my own.

- Got charged 350EGP for my key that was missing, I knew it was on my personal taxi and would give it back tomorrow, when the moment came and I was checking out (18h after) I tried to give them they key back and they didn’t want to give me my money back. What kinda world this people live in. Be careful when booking here - extremely old facilities, you won’t be able to sleep properly because the AC sounds like my old PS4 when playing Warzone. - pool was dirty. - location is next to one of their church’s so be ready to be woken up at 5am every day.

The pool was disgusting. So dirty. It can't be used.

The location was great. I was greeted by a frown when I come after a 15 hour train ride. We payed and when he counted he was missing 20 dollars. But we are sure we gave it as we had just exchanged our cash. So we knew how much money we had. But we were to tired to do anything about it. The first room we come to was not cleaned. We got a new room and the AC was so loud that we could not speak together. We got a new room where it was still quite loud but better. Here it smelled of cigarettes (there is a ash trey in the rooms) We checked out a day before and would not come here again. There are two people from the staff that were very nice and helpful. I wish we had met them when we checked in instead how we were greeted.

It is a basic hotel, the staff are very friendly and they do try to help you. The location is very good. The size of the room is very decent and it is not cramped. It is nice and quite inside. There is a swimming pool in the roof however it is small. If I were to visit aswan again I would live here. This hotel is ok not too bad. The wifi connection is ok.

I have said I would visit this hotel again, however they need to upgrade the air conditioning as the machines are too old. Mine made a lot of noise and I could not sleep properly at night. The TVs are too basic. The size of the pool is too small and the wifi signal needs improving. Also, some staff members had difficulty in understanding basic English, especially the ones on night shift. The ones during the day do seem to understand English. Also, not the hotel's fault, the moment you step out of the hotel and walk towards the main street, the people from the shops try to sell you things, it felt very irritating at times.

Very old and dirty building, difficult to find. The room wasn't soundproof and noone clean up for 3 nights stay. The noise from the 80s air condition didn't let me sleep. And the mattress was terrible.
