Dockside Inn

The best sleep i have ever had at a motel. N so quite couldn't hear anything from outside. Did once in awhile hear ppl walking upstairs but not bad at all.

Was never told about the breakfast when checking in. I thought maybe I remembered wrong. Or it was closed for some reason. But I dont know if they did have it. So we didn't get to have it.

The location was vey close to the marina, and was a very quiet area. It was very comfortable, clean and affordable. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were very spacious, and the staff were very friendly. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds, and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well as we were visiting in August.

There really wasn't anything about the property that I didn't like.

Check in process was quick and easy. The room was clean, beddings were clean. The building and furnishing is old, but it is clean and well maintained.

Very close and convenient to Cold lake waterside and we loved eating at the PourHouse Bar and Grill across the road. Very basic, neat and tidy with breaky room open in the morning. Simple and uncomplicated at reasonable cost.

Could hear road workers walking around upstairs getting ready to go to work very early.

Building is showing it's age. There was a dirty towel in the room that the staff dealt with immediately. I noticed the carpet threshold was poking through the carpet, .mentioned to the maintenance staff and he was setting up a time to repair right away.

Comfortable bed, great location for us. The breakfast was excellent and filling.

Had a coffee pot to make coffee but no coffee pods.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. Great location. Might need some tlc to the overall look but I can come back as is.

Security was picky and quiet time is 9:30. People from out of town on vacation can't even talk or security tells them to be quiet

It was very close to the venue that I was at.

All the very loud trucks, they are all started at different times. Hard to stay a sleep.

Very nice beds and clean rooms with very diligent room cleaning. Nice location as a brewery is within walking distance and an excellent Mexican restaurant (both less than one block away). Met all my needs for a weekend work trip.

False advertising, The Place Looked Nothing Like The Pictures On The Websites. Dirty Room, Very Outdated, Felt Unsafe, and The AC Had A Bad Smell.

Breakfast didn't have many options it was mainly cereal and sweet pastry, breakfast room need to be updated the table and chairs are uncomfortables.

Close to the Marina

Close to the water, friendly staff, I left 500$ in cash, my wallet, VR head set, gaming laptop, passport, on my dresser not expecting to get room cleaning done (normally I’m paranoid and lock it up near me when I travel. My room was spotless and my items were where I left it. Only down side was no matter what there was a wet smell, it wasn’t a deal breaker but staff did leave my windows open probably noticing the smell. Again my valuables were unsecured but the smell persisted. I did not complain, however they were fully booked it appeared so I doubt they would have been able to change me rooms. There was the shores walking distance from the area very peaceful, lots of amenities, liquor store, a really nice 24 hour gym across the street. And a pharmacy (incase you forget Tylenol or zofran for your hangovers). One other caviet when I booked I chose this place as they offered breakfast. There are no protein options, but they do have some decent store bought pastries and all the cereal and milk you can eat/drink. I mostly just grabbed a coffee and a muffin to go, I was hoping for eggs, even the cafeteria stuff, who knows maybe they will add it to their morning menu if enough people request it. But if I’m back in cold lake I will be returning to this hotel/motel.

Check in was ok, the lady was new so i understand. My room had a backwards door handle on the bathroom ( lock was on the outside). Other then that it was good. Would definitely stay there again.

Should have a specific area for smokers away from the rooms. 2 people were smoking in front of our room so we could smell smoke all night

We had a good stay. Bed was comfortable. Pillows not so much as I like firm pillows. Place was clean. It’s older but not in too bad condition. I would probably stay again in the future. Price was right.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.The coffee was fresh in the breakfast room, and there was plenty of choice for breakfast.

Room 108 bathroom doors requires maintenance. Overall very good

Tight parking

My friend and I stayed at the dockside inn this weekend. Upon arrival, we were greeted right away by a sweet woman who checked us in. The room was very clean, there was a fridge, coffee maker, air conditioner. At night the area was very quiet. We had a wonderful stay!

All nice

The motel was great. Had everything we needed...except DECAF coffee. Our problem was with the smokers. It was beautiful weather and we loved to have our window open in the evening but we had to continually shut it because the smoke from the smokers around us kept coming in, all evening. Regular cigarette smoke was bad, cannabis smoke was even worse. Not sure what can be done about this as they have "the right" to smoke. Don't we also have the right to breathe clean air?

This property is conveniently located within walking distance to marina. Which was mainly why we stayed there! Friendly checkin. Rooms were okay, was clean, but always room for improvement.

They're really putting in an effort to beautify the motel. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. It was surprisingly quiet with all the workers that stay there. They've attracted a quality bunch of customer's. I would stay again.

The flowers around the property were gorgeous! The breakfast room is wonderful. The staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you!
