A really well presented boutique style hotel in the paris bastille area, the decor in the bedrooms very comfortable and relaxing, breakfast area, bar and inroom service dining available, the pool and spa area is my favourite part of the hotel with spa massage available and , sauna plus steam room , the staff all very friendly and helpful at anytime. 😊😊

Boutet Bastille Hotel was such a charming place to stay! I really liked the location - easy access to metro 8 & 9, safe area and not as touristy as other arrondissements. The hotel staff was very helpful with all my questions, professional and it didn’t hurt that they were young and cute! The beds were super comfy with nice bedding. The bathrooms were clean. They even had a heated rack for hanging wet towels. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to go to the pool, but it looked really cute with a sunny skylight. I would love to come back and stay there again!

Exceptional staff made this easily one of my favorite hotel experiences in Europe. The efficiency, kindness, and friendly anticipation of our needs was five star. The beds are super comfortable and there are wonderful dining options nearby, plus it’s easy to walk to the metro to take you to all the sights. Don’t hesitate to book.

This was my fifth visit at this hotel and I’m never disappointed. The service was exceptional ; the staff were welcoming and professional. A special merci to Victoria and Demba who were so helpful and accommodating during my visit. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of the 11th arrondissement within walking distance to amazing bistro Paul Bert, Le Marais and of course the Bastille. A great find and and absolute treasure

This is my go-to hotel when staying in Paris. Prices are fair for the excellent room quality, the neighborhood is relatively quiet, and there is ample access to the metro. Plenty of dining options are nearby (make a reservation at Septime, but do so way in advance). Highly recommended.

The location near Bastille was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, though I would have preferred a sofa instead of a chair, but we made do. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to assist with anything. The spa was a fantastic bonus, especially after a long day of sightseeing and shopping.

The room, especially bathroom had a very strong, rotten smell. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It had no support and sank easily

Perfect location to avoid super touristy feel

Worth every penny! Don't forget your swimsuit because the spa is amazing. Also staff were very understanding of our lack of French and really kind to us.

Absolutely loved my stay here (10.19-10.24.2024). I can't overstate how friendly and helpful the staff here are, really top-notch professional customer service. 10/10 would stay here again. Also, the neighborhood (and surrounding/adjacent) has a great locals feel, not a ton of tourists. The metro is at the end of block and there was always a lime bike to rent close by as well.

The staff literally could not have been more helpful! The front desk was SO welcoming! The room was spotless. I upgraded to a patio where we enjoyed a bottle of wine in the evening. Breakfast was sumptuous. Is stay here again without hesitation; and I'd recommend it to anyone!

Everything was excellent. The place was clean and roomy and comfortable. The best part was the service. Everyone was friendly. The front desk staff were accomodating and helped with restaurants and trips.

My special gratitude to Ms.Mouna and Mr.Demba for helping us with the room allocation. Thanks to their efforts we had an excellent stay. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The suite was comfortable, spacious and had a huge terrace. Housekeeping was on point. The staff were kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Everything was great from check in to check out. Good location and the hotel is modern and the guestroom are spacious. All the staff was nice friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also good.

This is a great hotel to stay at if you are looking for friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, with a quiet place to rest at night. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. It is close to a metro station (3 min walk) so it’s easy to access whatever you wish to see in Paris. If you want to be close to the main sights, this is not the place for you. My daughter and I enjoyed this hotel very much!!!

They were very accommodating with getting us checked in early and getting the room serviced more than twice a day. Always willing to help and always asking if they can get us anything. Very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Clean hotel, friendly staff

On arrival I was surprised to be asked to pay a security deposit of 300 Euros, I was promised by staff that this wouldn't be debited. It was debited. I was told it would be put back into my account when we checked out in 3 days time. It wasn't. It finally cleared back into my account 1 week after we checked out.

Used the pool and gym. Room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. A bit overpriced based on other options in the area.

Liked everything about it . Nice restaurants /bakeries nearby, good breakfast selections , cleanliness of place , safe surroundings . Great associates , special shout out to 2 most wonderful ladies who welcomed us on our late arrival March 3 ( Inga and Mena - pls excuse if misspelled names ) , thank you very much everyone for your kindness . We just love visiting Paris and this hotel with a marvelous team work .

Staff was amazing bed very comfortable. My favorite bakery is next door. The only one thing maybe i dont like its a bit far from zone 1 and 2 which is my area i like to be during the day

Super helpful and friendly staff, large rooms, good transport links and great local amenities (Bistro Paul Bert and Patisserie Cyril Lignac being particular highlights). We've stayed in a lot of hotels in Paris but rarely gone back to the same one twice. We will be back to Hotel Boutet!

Fire Alarm went off at 1am, lift not working from the car park. Check us in tk a dirty room that hadnt beeen cleaned from previous guests. Not a 5 star hotel at all.

I requested an early check in since my flight into Paris landed at 8 am . The hotel was so kind enough to have my room ready for me at 10.30 am when I got to the hotel . It was a very sweet gesture to make sure I didn’t have to wait after a long flight . The check in and check out processes were very smooth . The food at the breakfast service and room service were both really good too . I didn’t use the pool but it looked like a lovely space to relax . Overall I was very satisfied and the hotel staff were very helpful and willing to address any requests . Thank you .

The shower and bedding was amazing.

A small mistake with the rooms (a double when a twin room was reserved) quickly resolved in the morning. The breakfast is a little expensive, but lots of good cafes nearby. Other than those minor issues, am excellent hotel and great stay

Good news! The hotel will comp you two drinks for being woken up at 2-3 am by a cockroach crawling on your skin and then after finally falling asleep at 5am, ignoring your “do not disturb” sign and waking you at 9am. So much for the honeymoon experience we never got when we first got married. Now at 60 I thought we deserved a great hotel experience. Not so much. *Get this: not even one apology.* I’m Canadian so I know we over apologize and expect others to…but come on!

Room was small but ok. Bed not overly comfortable as they had added an extra layer on top of the mattress (for protection?) so it was too soft and lumpy. Towel not provided one day after room cleaned so I had to use the spa towel. Long hair on the bathroom wall (not mine, I’m bald) stayed there the entire time I stayed - I wanted to see if it was going to be cleaned away. It wasn’t

Holy smokes, what a terrific hotel! Beautiful building; small but well-laid-out rooms; great (!!!) neighborhood; and excellent amenities (pool, steam room, sauna, fitness room).

Great location, clean and has everything you need

This is our second time staying at this boutique hotel. It is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The shower has plenty of water pressure and the rooms are a great size. The location is awesome. Away from all the tourist hustle while still being located in a vibrant Parisian neighborhood. The staff is outstanding, especially Julio as he provided amazing dining suggestions highlighting a myriad of food options from multiple cultures. He made my wife’s 40th birthday celebration exceptional with his dining recommendations. Thank you Julio and Hotel Paris Bastille Boutet. We will most certainly see you again in a future visit.

Cleanliness, proximity to nicest restaurants/bistro , close to Metro for attractions and shopping . Always a great stay in this hotel . Feels safe around area , too .

The property was in the area that we wanted to stay in, close to cafes and metro. Room was clean and just what we needed. We didn't use the amenities as we were hardly ever in the hotel. They only downside was that it was a little noisy. We could hear everything going on outside.

The location is near a Metro system. There are plenty of local market and restaurants around.

Not Hotel Paris, certainly not Sofitel, have no idea what M Gallery means, it's Hotel Butet! Do not believe any pictures provided by Hotel Butet.

When I arrived I was assigned a room. I got up to it and the keycard was not working. Going back to the reception they updated the keycard. Got back up and could enter the room.... which was occupied !!! The person was not there but the room was not done (bed messy, used cups on the desk, a letter for someone else on the bed...) I got back to the reception and explained the situation. They told me to wait to find another room. I would have expected at least some sort of compensation coming from a 5 star hotel, should it be a room upgrade or even paying for a drink of my choice while I was waiting after a long trip. None of this was offered (they did tell me they would offer a hot chocolate, thing that they offer to everyone, but at 9PM this is a bit surprising). Other than that, the rooms are quite ok (rooms are usually quite small in Paris) but very noisy during the night with traffic, so much so it was hard to find sleep. Beds are very confortable though and pool / sauna is a good plus for the hotel.

Staff went up and above to make my stay fantastic! There was a small problem with my room and the offered a free upgrade! Everyone was so helpful and kind. The technology in the bathroom was a really fun surprise! The breakfast was outstanding.

Enjoyed our stay, but don’t expect too much.

Cleanliness and room were very good. Unfortunately 3 out of 5 days we didn't have hot water and after being promised a partial refund, we have not received any news from the hotel or hotels.com yet.

I don’t believe it’s a five star hotel, no customer service since usually there is only one person on the front desk, very few cable channel, the room is small for a five star hotel

Temp employees at the front desk were great. Easy moving through the hotel and the location is close to multiple metro stops. Employee mask use was poor. Many with it off when not directly helping someone. Others hanging below their nose.

Nice check in but a big disappointment with the room. Booked a junior suite which is at a maximum a deluxe room. Small windows low ceiling, zero decorations and ambiance, a mini plastic sofa, nothing in adequation with the amazing facade of this building. Lucky that the staff were really friendly.

This is the only time I’ve been to Paris and LOVED the hotel I was staying at!!!! It was excellent!! Super clean, huge rooms, amazing staff. I never write hotel reviews but this place was truly a gem. Close to the metro and many dining options. We walked to dinner every night and took the metro everywhere. I can’t recommend it enough. Simply stellar.

Friendly, attentive staff. Place is well kept, very clean. I love the location. It is near two different lines of trains, many restaurants, shops and boulangeries( bakeries ) bear by. I felt safe loving around the hotel. The hallways are clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommended. Love the pool, sauna and the steam room. The WiFi was good but often drops and one must reconnect.

We stayed here for four nights on a vacation. Overall, we really enjoyed our trip, but the hotel was not quite as advertised. For an advertised 5-star hotel, it was not quite up to par. Overall: + The value for the room was good, possibly due to it being a bit further removed from the city + The location was great! It was a short walk from the Feidherbe / Cheligny station which took only ~15 minutes to be in the center of the city. Plus there were lots of good restaurants around the area. + Everyone in the hotel was very friendly. + The room was quiet even though it faced the street, and the bed was a dream. + The bathtub is like a spaceship, so if you take baths, get ready for an A+ experience. - The internet was really slow and inconsistent. If you are trying to work from the room, be careful. When we mentioned it to the front desk, they were of limited help in this area. - The rooms were clean, but we had issues with both our tub and our room sink. When we asked for them to be fixed, it took two days to get fixed. - The overall feel of the hotel was not a 5-star experience in my view; more like a 3.5 or 4-star experience. Everything from the check in, to lack of concierge, to lack of unique touches (e.g. turn down service) makes this feel short of 5 star experience. Overall, this was a completely fine place to stay. However, I think the billing as a 5-star place is probably a bit oversold.

Well located boutique hotel with shops and restaurants nearby

I like the hotel, the staff at the front desk were very friendly, however the cleaning staff and the guy who checks the minibar came into our room 3 times without knocking at the door or ringing the bell.

The neighborhood is diverse, which is good, but the general area needs some cleanup.

Pretty good property but for 1 key issue - the bed is much too soft n is so worn that the 2 sides slopes outward. Difficult to have a good rest. The stopper in the sink can't be released for water to drain. The onlu solution is to pull it out completely. Irrespective, the Front Desk staff were all very helpful n made the stay enjoyable. Proximity of the hotel to line 1 metro in these days is a blessing.

Loved the pool but it needs a railing to get those not sure-footed into the water. Adored the shower. Excellent breakfast. VERY accommodating staff. Hated the duvet. I needed a separate sheet so ended up pulling the blanket out of its cover to use as a sheet. Duvet system is much too warm throughout the night.

Beautiful hotel in a nice area of Paris though it’s not central. However, you are about two blocks from the 8 line and a longer walk from other metro lines. The hotel was bigger than I usually see in Paris and the pool and sauna were nice pluses. The staff was super friendly too, especially since I don’t speak French.

The room is a good size for Europe standards. Hotel is super clean and reasonably new. But the best thing about it really is the staff who is amazing. Always smiling and trying to do the best for the guests. My mother loved it!

I had earned a "good boy" reward and decided it would be in the form of a five star hotel on my four night stay in Paris. And since the Bastille Boutet happened to be in my favorite part of the city, I booked. Not once did I regret doing so. My room was large by that city's standards, well appointed and perfectly located. Charming little "extras" here and there were icing on the cake, as were my room's juliette balcony and Nespresso macine. However the real luxury was the treatment accorded to me by staff. This went far, far beyond the call of duty. Those looking to reward themselves for whatever reason can start the process by staying here!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, very convenient location

Lovely room in lovely hotel in a quiet district of Paris away from all the hustle and bustle but with plenty of good local restaurants and cafes within 5 mins walk from the hotel. Hotel is 50m from Faidherbe metro station so can be at Concorde in 15 mins. Walked to Notre Dame and Marais/Bastille in a leisurely 30-45mins. Hotel beds extremely comfy and shower spectacular. Didn't have much interaction with staff but when asked about anything they were very helpful. Swimming pool was big bonus to relax before dinner after a long day sightseeing. Breakfast bit expensive so went to local cafes for coffee and croissant for €4.20 instead. Overall would definitely recommend.

The desk staff was very helpful in that they advised us on where to visit, procured tickets and reservations for us, etc. My only complaint is that the thermostat in our room was set too warm, 24 degrees C. We set it down daily, but the staff set it back up when they came in to clean, except for the last day of our week long stay. It was especially too warm at night, in that the bed had a very warm comforter and nothing lighter.

The reception desk personnel are EXTREMELY accommodating. In particular we wish to thank MORGAN at the front desk who was very gracious in helping us with a sensitive matter. They rest of the front desk personnel helped us with other pressing matters and normal requests. In addition, their restaurant recommendations were excellent. The location visually appears a bit out of the way for touristic activities, however the hotel is 2 minutes from a metro line that runs directly through the main tourist areas. Another subway line is 7 minutes away and that line has fewer stops as it travels through central areas of Paris, so is good for longer tourist targets.

this hotel is in a quite location but only a short walk from plenty of activity. I would happily stay there again, the price was fantastic and hotel was perfect for my adult children and I to base our Paris stay out of.
