Tutto è carente, la struttura non è assolutamente curata, è sporca e le stanze non sono sufficientemente arredate. Forse può essere data una sufficienza alla colazione ad eccezione della pulizia dei tavoli e del personale addetto.

For parking, your car needs to be parked outside the old Medina itself from (9:00 to 19:00). You'll be able to park it near the hotel only at night. (FREE parking are available everywhere)

La colazione è un piccolo buffet molto soddisfacente con prodotti freschi e di qualità.....alcuni dei quali che cambiano di giorno in giorno! Bravi! La camera è spartana ma con l'essenziale, molto comoda e pulita! Considerando la posizione e il rapporto qualità /prezzo, è imbattibile a Sousse!

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Hotel situato in ottima posizione, dentro la medina ma in zona tranquilla e con possibilità di parcheggiare la macchina facilmente a breve distanza, poco fuori le mura. Le camere sono essenziali ma carine.
Purtroppo nella nostra stanza lo scarico del lavandino del bagno era intasato e non funzionava l'aria condizionata. Quando abbiamo fatto presente questo secondo problema ci hanno detto che non potevano risolverlo, né cambiarci stanza. Facendo molto caldo (era agosto) ci saremmo aspettati uno sconto sul prezzo della camera, che invece non ci è stato nemmeno offerto. Quando la sera abbiamo chiesto un bicchiere vuoto (per prendere un farmaco solubile) ci è stato detto che non era possibile. In generale, paragonata alle numerose altre strutture dove siamo stati in Tunisia, questa ci è sembrata meno accogliente e ospitale.

Vi åt frukost 1 dag och det fanns inte jättemycket utbud men de kan vara då vi kom dit ganska sent annars bra mängd frukost.

El personal muy amable, cambiamos las fechas de la estadía y no hubo ningún problema. La chica que está en la recepción fue muy amable para aconsejarnos de cómo volver a túnez, le estaremos siempre agradecidos por su ayuda. El desayuno simple, pero suficiente.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026J'ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel et je le recommande sans hésitation. Le premier point fort est sans aucun doute le personnel : toute l'équipe est accueillante, souriante, aimable et toujours prête à rendre service. On se sent vraiment bien pris en charge dès l'arrivée. L'emplacement est également idéal. L'hôtel est situé à proximité de tout : la plage, la médina, la corniche ainsi que plusieurs monuments historiques. Il est donc très facile de visiter la ville à pied. L'hôtel est très calme, ce qui permet de bien se reposer, et les chambres ainsi que les espaces communs sont d'une grande propreté. Un grand merci tout particulièrement à M. Mourad, à la réception de nuit. Son professionnalisme, sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité ont marqué notre séjour. Il nous a donné de nombreux conseils très utiles pour découvrir la ville et profiter pleinement de notre voyage. C'est un collaborateur exemplaire qui mérite d'être félicité. Merci à toute l'équipe pour ce merveilleux séjour.

The hotel itself is very charming and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The rooftop area is absolutely worth mentioning – we spent a lot of time there enjoying the views. The rooftop terrace was one of my favorite parts of the hotel, offering fantastic views and a great place to unwind after a busy day. The location is excellent and made getting around very easy. Everyone working at the hotel was professional and friendly. In particular, a young woman on the staff went out of her way to help us several times and was always smiling. One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop – the view was amazing and it was a perfect place to relax in the evening. The location couldn’t be better, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to a young lady at the reception who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would happily stay here again

Reviewed May 26, 2026Ein sehr schönes Haus im traditionellen nordafrikanischen Stil. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, und auf Französisch oder Englisch konnte man sich gut unterhalten. Das Frühstück war einfach und traditionell (kein Buffet), hat aber gut geschmeckt. Das Hotel liegt sehr praktisch im Stadtzentrum und man erreicht sowohl den Markt als auch den Strand in wenigen Minuten. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt verlängert, da ich insgesamt sehr zufrieden war. Wer das „echte“ Sousse erleben und die typischen Touristenhotels meiden möchte, dem kann ich dieses Hotel empfehlen.
Allerdings war es sehr warm im Zimmer, da die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert hat - abends teilweise sogar wärmer als draußen.

Il signore della reception è stato eccezionale! L'hotel è molto carino e la posizione è perfetta, nel cuore della medina. La stanza era molto grande. Siamo stati benissimo!
La colazione era un po' povera e i sanitari un po' vecchi, ma abbiamo trovato comunque eccezionale il rapporto qualità prezzo.

De meeste dingen in de medina zelf sluiten om 20.00 uur, ‘s avonds geen vertier. Boven op het dak van het hotel zijn ze een zonnenterras aan het maken. Prijs/kwaliteit prima.

Además el personal del hotel nos ayudó a encontrar lugares para comer y a aparcar nuestro coche de alquiler con recomendaciones. Las habitaciones son amplias y el desayuno muy bueno. Caminando 10 minutos también tienes la playa.
Todo estuvo bien.

yataklar pek temiz değildi, çarşafta saçlar vardı, özellikle yastıklar çok sarı duruyordu. Tekli yataklar gevşemiş, çok fazla gıcırdıyor. tamir edilmesi lazım.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026Hôtel à l’entrée de la médina par la place des martyrs, juste derrière la grande mosquée. Accueil 24/24. Calme, chambres simples mais spacieuses, excellent petit déjeuner. Parking juste à l’extérieur des remparts à 2,5 DT par heure le jour, gratuit la nuit.
Le chauffage très peu performant mais des couvertures sont à disposition dans la chambre.

Nach dem Duschen bleibt der Badezimmerboden ewig lange nass, weil das Wasser nicht wirklich abläuft

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026I first visited the Hotel Medina nearly 30 years ago when I called in for a coffee during a visit to Sousse. I was taken then with the delightful courtyard. I promised myself then that one day I would stay here. We stayed here for two nights and I was not disappointed. The courtyard was as delightful as I remembered it to be. We were given a very friendly welcome on arrival and shown to our room. We had a large airy room with a large en-suite and outside we had use of a shared terrace that was full of sunshine in the afternoon. As the name implies, the hotel is right on the edge of the Medina and the main Souks of Sousse making for a very convenient location. Our breakfast was delicious and plentiful and I can recommend the coffee! There is public car parking available for a small fee just a short walk away. There are plenty of original features in the public areas of the hotel making it a joy to walk around.

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026I highly recommend Hotel Medina. It's definitely worth the price. The positioning is perfect: in front of the Grand Mosque, inside the Medina. ✅️ It's 3 minutes from the fortress with its tower that offers a great view over the whole city (I recommend you visit it). It's 15 minutes away from the public beach. It's easy to catch a taxi in front of the hotel that isn't expensive if you ask them to use the meter. We reached the central louage station by taxi within 10 minutes and paid 2.5 dinars. From there, we went to Kairouan and El Jem. I spoke English, French, and Arabic to the receptionists and the personnel. Their proficiency is high. The room is great, equipped with a bathroom and two separate rooms for me and my mum. It even has a heater for warmth during winter, a cupboard, and a mirror.
❌️ It's a bit noisy during prayers because we're close to the mosque. I woke up early because of that, but on the other hand, you can experience the wonderful, charming Islamic chants from the minarets. A fridge would serve well. I couldn't put my drinks anywhere. In general, a great place to stay.

Our room smelled like cigarette smoke from people (staff) smoking in the lobby even though we were on the second floor.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Good central location right in the middle of the Medina. Breakfast was good with a different variety everyday. The hotel itself was safe and always had security to not allow random people to come in. The rooms were cleaned everyday and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. It’s close to all the touristic sites and close to the buses that can take you for day trips like El Jem, Monastir, Kairouan, etc. There is also a bar that offers a variety of drinks which was nice.
