Very simple and clean room, although the lack of amenities like a toothbrush, soap and USB wall outlet is strange. The street outside is also prone to heavy flooding.

Always a good stay here
Strongly recommend. Simple and cost effective. Value for money.
Baustelle hinter und neben dem Haus!
Great hotel in Ratchada, Bangkok. Staff very friendly and great English. They let me check in a bit early which was nice. The room is beautiful, great pool & great breakfast, too. The location is just off the main road in a great area . It's 10 minutes walk to "The Street" where the outdoor Beer Garden had a top level concert the night I was staying. I highly recommend this hotel for it's excellent staff, location, food, pool, gym...this place has it all and will ensure you have a comfortable stay.
Another nice stay at this hotel. Really friendly staff and clean rooms. Highly recommended.
Worth the price
The hotel is located in the downtown area in a small alley for cars and big buses to park, which is its only advantage. Other than that, this hotel are of low quality with poor services. First, it is really stressful when firstly stepping into the hotel with all signs on imposing fines against residents, from no smoking to bringing food and drinks and others. Fine and warning signs are almost everywhere in the hotel such as at the reception area, in the elevators, and a list of monetary penalties for each damage of furnitures and applicances in the room!!! You are not allowed to wash your clothes and hang your clothes in the room. If you do so, 5,000 bahts are imposed on you. The balcony is locked , which means you have no place to hang your clothes. There is no laundery service either. The staff only recommends you go to the next door building and ask the security guy in that building and that's all. There are no further guidance than that. I went to the next door and had really bad experience as the washing machine did not work and swallowed coins I put into it until I was told that only 10 coin is acceptable (which they made notice in the Thai language only). The security guy could not speak English and was unwilling to inform you of the coin exchange and unhelpful as he said he was not in charge of the washing machines. No basic bathroom and hygienic stuff (i.e. soap, toothpaste, tooth brushes, cotton buds, and others) is provided. The staff are not welcoming and helpful, and do not care about customer services and customers' compliants. They gave a bit of attitude and were not receptive when receiving customers' complaints. No doubt that they do not care about as they just do business with tour companies. The night staff could not speak English well. This hotel created horrible experience for when travelling to Thailand which is considered the shining star of tourism and hospitalism in Southeasr Asia. Stay away from this place.
Good Hotel
This place has all the basics covered for hospitality. It's off the main road so no traffic noise...however there is construction in the area so roads can be dirty and dusty.
Overall, everything is good except for the TV channel the doesn’t have any English channel or English movie
The hotel is very good, located in a very good place on Rachida road. Very comfortable, with good facilities. Staff is very good and helpful. Enjoyed my tour. The hotel is equipeed with good fitting centre, swimming pool, easily accessible from airport
Not very good breakfast
Have stayed here a few times previously and once again not disappointed. As an overnight stay its ideal for us...rooms are spacious and clean, use of gym and a rooftop pool. We don't bother with breakfast so cant comment - plenty of eating places surrounding hotel as well as nearby shops and markets. Most importantly for us its quiet and we can get a decent nights sleep!
位置與地鉄站有点距離
The hotel is down a side road off the main road, not the best entrance, but the hotel is very nice. The breakfast was plentiful, not gourmet but more than adequate. The hotel is in a good location walking distance to the train station. There is only one problem, they do not go the extra mile and provide more English channels for the TV. Have been in cheaper hotels in the area who have more English channels and English movies.
I have stayed here numerous time. Because the condition and cleanly is very good, I keep coming back when I visit Bangkok. It’s a bit of a walk to the train station but it’s closed to 7-11 and you can find some mirror bikes there to get around. We go to Central shopping mall a lot so it’s convenient. They just charge for renting silverware.
The reception staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and the bed huge. The hotel is smart and everything immaculate. The breakfast selection was fine, and the dining-room staff charming. The only downside to the hotel - and not its fault - is the poor access from the main road, along a narrow and uneven laneway. However, it's really only a minor point. Bottom line: would definitely stay there again.
Excellent excellent customer experience excellent price and price for food
Hotel room is clean but no comb, no cutton buds, no toothbrush... Bathroom is good Receptionists was very friendly Pool is small Breakfast is so so Drive go with us to Poonsub is very friendly. We really like him
Praso is a place that reminds more of a Soviet prison than an hotel. Once you arrive and are met by a group of gruntled minions. With a sense of perception you might be able to experience the postmodern artwork filled walls. Most of these are the classics: "No smoking", "No Durian", but there are a few unique variations repeated to keep your art palate intrigued. The room interior follows the same pattern, probably as an unexplained statement from the designer. The single window offers a beautiful parking lot view, but unfortunately the balcony area is inaccessible due to heavy locks. As you explore the other facilities you might be come across the restaurant in the second floor which offers the famous complementary breakfast. The exotic lack of selection in the buffet is only toppled by the lack of quality of their offerings. The dark semi-liquid substance available in the corner is an exciting take of the popular drink "coffee". Staying in the hotel allows your mind to wonder and contemplate your life choices so far. As Praso offers the feeling of being incarcerated, being completely void of any humane experience, you are left to ponder if their management share these same principal values in their life.
Clean and new hotel in a quiet community. We had some good night sleeps, just not too much restaurant nearby , nice staff ! Overall this hotel is highly recommended , worth the value
A nice hotel close to the MRT. Big room with good security and all the amenities you need. Very helpful staff.
Nice and clean rooms good breakfast but expensive if you forgot to add on while booking online . Staff won’t match the online price.
We enjoyed how quiet the hotel was and the nice guard who helped with our bags. We also appreciated the positive and friendly attitude of the female hosts in the restaurant during breakfast. That's about it, for the price we paid, the service should have been better but it was fine for a night. The staff in the reception were alright, some were nice, respectful and friendly while others were not. One in particular did not like our request to change rooms due to a strong smell of cigarette. Initially they said they didn't have any other beds, later ended giving us a room with two single beds for my husband and I. while a staff member was quick to put the beds together, the receptionist acted as if they were doing us a favor. The hotel has signs posted for non-smoking throughout yet their rooms can have the stench. Lucky the other four rooms for the rest of the party were okay. I certainly do NOT recommend the restaurant for anything other than breakfast. We decided to have dinner because of convenience and arrived at 9:18pm, the chef/host instead of greeting and welcoming us, looked at his watch for a very long time. I mentioned their closing time was 10pm and eventually he let us have a seat, we should have recognized the red flag. The service was slow, and again, as if they were doing us a favor. We truly did not enjoy the dinner as much as we have hoped.
Clean rooms, great staff, small pool / gym. Shame about the auto closing doors mechnisims, lack of foreign TV cable channels. The walls maybe a little thin for some, you can hear other rooms' chatting next door.
Received an upgrade on check, friendly and helpful staff, absolutely amazing facilities and rooms, very impressed would definitely stay here again! Only wish i was staying here longer!
Modern hotel with good facilities. In a quiet side street close to the metro system.
Good for 1 night prior to airport. Clean cheap pretty close to don muang
Stayed in this hotel on previous occasion. Not so central to activities but being near to the “MRT” station is a very good plus, accessible to many places of attractions. Need to understand the rail system more because stored value card is only usable on this Blue Line and not on the green or BTS line. Overall, GREAT hotel to stay.
Nice and clean room
A bit strict about bringing drinks fro outside, but its an overall good hotel
Overall was quite pleased with the hotel stay except that the hot shower wasn't working properly. Same goes to my friend's room shower
Breakfast is not good. Towels were not refreshed even we left them on the floor as instruction. They just folded and put back. My friend’s earrings were stolen. No hot water for shower. We would never stay here again.
A deposit of 2000 baht is needed when you check in. It is too much for traveller or students! Other than that, the room is spacious and the water supply is good.
Breakfast varieties is not enough n lobby is too small to accommodate large amount of guest (20) pax’s
Wating for food is too long already, for staff was friendly
Nice hotel and good service .. will intro Friend to stay ...
Very clean and modern hotel. Very close to soapy massage and metro. Would recommend
My friend and I booked this hotel as a place to recover from our 20 hour flight when we first arrived in Bangkok. Its easy to get to from the airport, quiet, clean and the staff let us check in early which was amazing. Staff are friendly and the pool is small but relaxing. A lady called Lisa? that was cleaning the pool area was so lovely. She made our stay.
We stopped here for a night as it was on way to the airport. It's actually one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. The customer service is great as are the rooms and their size and quality. Breakfast was limited because of our diet restrictions. However if the location had been more central we would probably have used this for longer for sure.
Everything else is good except flooring of the poolside is rather slippery and I hope the management could look into it before another accident happen.
We booked direct with the hotel for bht. 1600 per night (room only) and stayed 3 nights on the 7th floor, the location is 5 minutes walking to MRT( Hueaw Kwang ), local restaurants (many open 24/7) and the night market. The room is clean and big (no balcony seating), comfortable bed, in-room safe and 55' TV. The above ground pool located on the 2nd floor next to the coffee shop which is weird, not so friendly if you are unable walking step to the pool and a mini gym next door. Overall is good 3 star rated hotel for those travelers looking for hotel near Ratchadapisak Rd.
new facilities. clean room. helpful staff. i will stay here again.
Its my second stay in praso and I enjoy it. Its close to public train huai khwang station which helps you to get there from the airport without using overpriced taxi. I didnt eat at hotel as there is plenty of places arround to grab meal. Room was clean and comfortable. Only minus was noise coming from group of tourists who were very loud at swimming pool. Apart from that I cant complain
The only complaint I had with the Praso hotel was that the bathroom was small, otherwise I was satisfied with our stay there.
Unfortunately the swimming pool was broken down. It was not repaired immediately and lasted for several days. During my stay, I had no chance to swim. Very disappointed.
have to walk few minutes to the main street to get a taxi.
The hotel is close to Huai Khwang MRT station. Also, Big C supermarket, shopping mall and a great night market are in 15 min walking. The room and the bathroom are big and clean and the bed is very comfortable. Good WI FI connection. Unfortunately, the windows can not be opened and the balcony is locked. The toiletries are too basic and only 2 towels. Only one key card per room. Do something with the breakfast, is terrible, only for asian tourist groups. Is's such a pitty for this nice hotel to have such a poor breakfast. The hotel is crowded with very noisy chinese groups.
Need to improve on customer service relationship Hard to get a call taxi to the hotel. Room is small but nice. Have to pay for toothpaste and toothbrush or bring your own. No ironing board provided No laundry bag( have to ask ) Nice breakfast Nice location with easy access to nearby facilities.
We stayed here for a week during our Bangkok trip. The pros and cons from our experience are as below Pros: 1. The room was decent sized and presented in a neat & clean condition. 2. The room gets a clean on a daily basis without you having to request it. After a long day out, it feels so nice to come back to a clean room. 3. The air-conditioning worked fine. There's a safety locker to store your valuables. 4. The Huai Khwang MRT is located about 200m from the hotel. You can interchange to most of the popular destinations using mrt & bts. 5. There's a 7-11 & an atm close by. 6. The reception staff are helpful for the most part. Cons: 1. The restaurant on level 2 is overpriced & pretty average. The buffet breakfast is not too flash either & lacks variety. Skip it if its not included in your deal. 2. There are no common kitchen or laundry facilities. 3. There are not many street food options close to the hotel. Overall, our stay at Praso was hassle free & a positive one.

Staff were very friendly. There’s a massage place just outside the hotel. Nearby 7eleven and walking distance to Huai Khwang MRT.
Room reeked of durian. Balcony was locked. Shower was either ice or fire. Hostess in dining room was very rude. Pool is 3 feet deep. Very clean. Front staff was great.
no smoking room. fine 2000 baht. good for non smokers
Booked this hotel through agoda for 2 kids and 2 adults. (+) Breakfast: Oriental spread was good. My kids love the food, especially the pork porridge, which they claim is the nicest food for the whole trip (+) Wifi is good, no cumbersome log on (+) On our last day, the hotel staff offered to help us catch a taxi from the main road to the hotel lobby to take us to the airport. Nice gesture! (+) Nice Chinese cartoon on TV which my kids enjoy. (-) Aircon was not very strong, and the room takes 30 min to cool down when you enter, especially when the hotel is East West facing. There is a strong mode on the aircon which keeps auto reverting to normal mode, so you need to ensure it is constantly on strong mode to cool the room faster. (-) Only 1 room card per room. The socket doesn't work with other dummy cards and this prevents the aircon from cooling the room or charging your devices while you are out. Also poses inconvenience when two persons are travelling separately. The hotel offered to open the door, but you have to wait. (-) Towels! We booked the room for 2 adults and 2 kids, and the room came with 2 towels. First night: reception said they only had 1 spare towel left. Night 2: The chamber maid replaced 3 towels with 3 new ones. Night 3: With 2 new towels, we asked for 2 more and they came with 2 hand towels, but promptly replaced with 2 towels. We used only 3. Night 4: Only 2 towels and reception said additional towels are chargeable. So we made shift with 2 towels for 2 adults and 2 kids.
Good hotel if you want to discover Bangkok, is very close to the metro and to the commercial center "the street", the room is good but the air conditioner is not powerful enough, the temperature of the water change a lot and the wifi was very weak and in my opinion the breakfast is not really good. Anyway they are very friendly and try to do everything to feel welcome, in general just need few details to be excellent.
I thought they offered a breakfast when booking. Got to the hotel and was told no breakfast is offered.
Location was very good and 10mins to Huai Kwang MRT. Just a 5mins walk, you can have food at the main road. If you want street food, just cross the road behind Hip Hotel, rows of yummy street food are there. Hotel staff are very polite, courteous and helpful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Room facilities are in good working condition. Ample parking spaces if you drive. WIFI are ok. I have a wonderful stay there during my business trip. Only I feel that they can improve a bit on their breakfast menu.
Clean and good rooms and friendly staff! Nice pool and basic but good food. Only remark is its distance to Khosan Road where the most pickups are for the day trips. Distance to airport is also about 30min if you pay the taxi an extra 50baht for the high way, else your in for an unexpectedly long drive with traffic jams
Must improve the breakfast ... staff ecept d manager they cant understand English but ofcourse this is problem with majarity of thai ppl....
Praso@Ratchada12 is about 5 minutes walk to a MRT station which is very convenient specially if you've been out shopping at Chatuchak or anywhere else! It is also easy to transfer to a BTS if you need to and this MRT close to the hotel is not congested even on rush hours. The hotel is small but chic, cozy, safely located, tucked away from the main road chaos, and there is a 7-11 within 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms are a decent size but, please be advised that there are NO English channel as in not even one in their TV. Good thing we have Netflix subscription and their WiFi is good enough to stream movies. Also, the walls are thin so you can hear everything and you can be heard, as well. As soon as housekeeping starts moving in the hallway, you'll know. The hotel has a restaurant and a pool, but, there is also a Big C grocery store and a medium size mall within 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel. However, there are no street foods along the main road --- they are tucked away on side and back alleys. If street food is not your cup of tea, the area has a lot of restaurant to choose from within walking distance, as well. One favorite discovery that we frequented are the restaurants inside Emerald Hotel across the MAIN road of the hotel, and you can get there via an overpass. They have 2 restaurants that offer buffets and although some might find it a bit pricey, it is well worth the price. They are not the typical run of the mill buffets, but good quality ingredients and varieties such as crabs, lobsters, Oyster Rockefeller, and foie gras sushi that's to die for --- the sushi is at the Japanese buffet on the 2nd floor! We've stayed at Praso@Ratchada 12 last year in September, and this pass July 2017 for a week's time each visit. ChefSaraP
Praso @ Ratchada 12 is a quiet, clean, modern, boutique hotel in a close in suburb of Bangkok with attentive staff. The space was quite comfortable for three adults over a long weekend. Breakfast had decent Asian and Western options and it was convenient to eat at the hotel before heading out for all day and evening sightseeing. The room is a great value due to its distance from the city center. While the MRT subway stop is nearby, there is no close BTS skytrain stop. Taxi to the main tourist spots could take between 30-60 minutes depending on the traffic, but the fare was never more than $7 USD, Some of the drivers had difficulty finding this small hotel tucked down a small side street. However, if you are planning on going to Chatuchak Weekend Market, you can take the MRT subway directly there. If you are interested in eating locally, there is a night market and food stalls within walking distance less than a mile south on the main street outside the hotel. Salt crusted roasted whole fish for less than $6 USD! If you don't mind a commute into the city center and enjoy a more local scene, Praso @ Ratchada 12 is great place to stay.
Room is comfortable and cozy. Facilities could be better. Overall great stay.
reserved for 3 days but checked out on second day. staff is not trained in hospitality etiquette. should be a 2.5 star hotel. Only one key and must be inserted to cool. hair dryer is on timer. no iron. very basic. Location behind residential and commercial area.
The first time when I stepped into the room I was given, there was a relatively strong smell of Chinese herbs. This might be possibly due to that this hotel cater mainly to Mainland Chinese, Taiwanese, Koreans and a small group of Chinese from other parts of the world. Overall, the room is clean and I had a room with a large window. That made the stay very pleasant. Toilet is well equipped but like any budget hotels, bring your own toothbrush and tooth paste as they only provide shower cap, hand soap, body wash, conditioner and shampoo. There are cups too for you to use when brushing your teeth. Towels are fresh and clean without stains, so are the white bedsheets. I like their pillows as they are firmer than usual. One of the other reasons why it didn't get full marks is because of the bottles used for their toiletries. It is hard to get the content out for you to use. You might be better off using your own shampoo and body wash. One very good plus point is that it has a really strong water pressure for the shower and this place is easy to get to the airport.
This is my first hotel choice in Bangkok. This is my second time staying in this hotel.
Room was big and clean. Staffs were friendly and helpful in many ways. Overall was a pleasant and enjoyable stay
Just Disappointing there is no English tv you cant make a phone call the rooms are very noisy and everything is so slow.
Don't even have tissue in the room. Housekeeper very rigid and rude, I left the "do not disturb" sign. When I walk past the housekeeper and wanted to collect 2 bottles of water, they told me cannot because need to clean up my room than can give me the water. What policy is this???
Breakfast food allowed to go cold in restaurant. Plenty of asian but not western. Constant steel grinding noise from building next door. Destroyed days around the pool. Front staff concerned more on procedure rather than customer satisfaction regardless of how much sense it makes.
Very clean room and very convenience to the MRT station!
Everything was good, just we hope the reception ladies look happier if possible. They were always polite when we asked something, but seemed as if it was a must to answer, then we felt sorry like we disturbed them.
Location is good. Near MRT and 7-11. Will stay here again next time. However there's no air condition along the corridor.
Close to Mtr station night market , 7-11. Staff young and not professional, but nice enough. Everything is quite clean, except the bed sheet, pillow sheet and towel. I guest bed sheet is not changed and there are many stains on it. Asked for change of bed sheet, staff taken my trips, but ignored by request. Remember to bring yr own teeth brush and toothpaste as they are not provided by the hotel also no one time flip-flops provided Only shower cap n soap.It is great to have a balcony in the room but it is locked and cannot be opened. Staff said cannot open for us without explanation. May be due to the security problem of the area nearby. Lots of message shops , seafood restaurant n bar nearby. Feel like close to local residents. But the road to hotel is quiet at night with lots of stray cats n dogs, some motor bikes by pass sometime. A bit afraid of robbery but nothing happened during my stay Worth the price anyway
Nice location To visit Bangkok
Distinct Thai hospitality from all hotel staff. Outstanding!
Good location, accessible to MRT station, bus stop, malls, and the Ratchada Train Market (although obviously not as good as the Siam or Silom neighborhood). Room was sparkling clean; found some ants crawling along the walls and ceilings but I guess that's common in SE Asia and it was only a negligible problem
Excellent location. Definitely will be back again.
Very Clean hotel, in a good location right between two train stops & near the mall
Room is spacious & hotel is clean, not bad. Location quite convenient.
Staff very friendly, room cozy and clean near to 7-11,
The hotel is on a back alley in the center of the action! Close to markets, transportation, and a mall!! The best massage place is right next door to the hotel! There are dogs wandering outside , but that's all over Bangkok. There's also a rooster that will wake you. The breakfast was delicious and filling, pool very nice. There was construction but I never heard the noise. Overall I would stay there again!
Breakfast no good
It's a nice hotel with good food and friendly staff. The front desk speaks excellent English, which isn't always the case in Thailand. There isn't much to see or do in the area right around the hotel, but it's a few minutes from a subway station and not far from most attractions. It's a nice hotel to rest in for whatever you're doing in Bangkok.
Overall good hotel. The food was good but it was a little over priced for the amount of food that was served.
Everything was good. but the only thing is the sound proof of the rooms wasnt that well as you can hear noise or people talking over the next room.
The location is good and convenient as it is near a whole stretch of night markets about 10 minutes walk away. There is also a 7-eleven store less than a minute walk away. The hotel is still relatively new so everything looks good. Gave 4/5 for the hotel facilities because the balcony was not available for me and my friends. Also, we are only allowed to smoke beside the pool (closed at 8pm) and at the designated area at the ground floor which is a bit troublesome. Overall I am happy with my stay there and will definitely go back.
It was very. lean, i asked for a dish and nife in my room but they didn't get.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It was ok for the price paid for. The breakfast needs a bit of improvement. The spread was not lavish but acceptable.
room card only have 1. even if you want to pay deposit of 500baht, you might not able to get one. location is near mrt.
