部屋も廊下もヒーターがしっかり入っていて快適な温度で過ごせました。 また、清掃も行き届いていており、バスルームも清潔でした。

It had everything we needed. A warm cosy classic kiwi basic lodge.

This lodge is mainly used by young people 20 year olds who were making noises up to 2am and the noise travelled trought the walls. Just bring some earplugs.

Amazong property. Right at the centre of village. Everything is 2-3mins away. Easy to find the property. Easy chrck-in instructions even in late night or evening.

This is exceptionally clean Hostel with well maintained kitchen, reading room, bathrooms and rooms. Perfect location just walking distance from Lake Tekapo and its main shopping and restaurant area. We walked from the Hotel at midnight to the Church of the good shepherd for star gazing which was great experience. The walk from the Hostel to the Lake Tekapo is perfect with amazing view of snowy mountains and lake tekapo. Even its a Hostel, it also has its own private parking space which I liked. As there is no reception and dedicated staff, your keys are kept perfectly at the man less reception with instructions which was great. The common kitchen and living/reading room areas is quite big and well maintained with interesting items displayed. The snowy mountains view from the Hostel is also great. The website shows pet animals like hamsters, but they were not there in August when we visited, may be due to winter season.

Really close to supermarket and lake tekapo; both places were within few minutes walk.

Really no facilities in private room, kitchen is quite well equipped but was different buildng.

Kitchen was well equipped. Hot water supply was great.

Room had basically no sound proofing at all, able to hear water running and conversations from unit next to me.

Travelling from Vancouver, BC where the date is one whole day ahead of NZ. Upon check-in late at night, the hostel tells us that we didn’t show up the night before. However the room is still available and insisted that we must rebook via online and pay the second night in full. No exceptions or compassions whatsoever, like doing business with a robot, not a human. It was 8pm. Very doubtful the room would be filled. We drove to another town in the dark!

Cozy place. Quiet. Clean showers and kitchen. Easy check in and check out.

The entire outside yard was one of the highlights of our winter trip! Our family had a great time playing in the snow. Magnificent view😍

The room we had was separated from the kitchen building, which was a bit inconvenient at night as it was too cold to go out. (But if it's a different season, we think the building setup is not a problem). Also, it would be better if there were two heat pumps for a big room, especially during the winter season.

Some grit on the Icy path too the rooms it was pretty slippery

The location is good and there is a small parking lot.

It would be a bit cold outside as the kitchen is at the different building from the bedroom.

Communication is definitely not a strength; the room was right beside the shower, which was dripping for a long time every time someone used it, and it's one of those with metal floor, so you can imagine the noise.

La limpieza mejorable, había telarañas en las paredes, el mantenimiento justo en algunos aspectos y debería haber una normativa más estricta de respeto al resto de huéspedes. Por otro lado, pagas un precio elevado y al final no tienes privacidad porqué es un hostel con los baños comunes al lado de tu habitación. El baño necesitaría un calefactor porqué es una auténtica nevera. La habitación también es muy pequeña.

great location for the price. Room was comfortable and toilets / showers were clean. Kitchen is large and fully equipped. Lots of parking available outside the accomodation.

I had some difficulty finding my room when I checked in. There were no staff at check in - they leave your key with a map of the area. Room was not soundproof and I could hear people having conversations next door.

The animals were a great little bonus! We also enjoyed the tennis courts and free equipment for activities. Just a short walk into town :) Very basic accommodation but perfect for an overnight stop for travellers

No complaints really, would have been nice to be greeted by someone so we could ask some questions, but the self check in was very easy

I punti di forza sono sicuramente gli animali (abbiamo visto galline e Guinea pigs) e la possibilità di usufruire dei campi da tennis e da basket gratuitamente. La camera era pulita e anche la cucina, per quanto non grandissima, era ben attrezzata.

La struttura è datata, lo si vede soprattutto dai sanitari del bagno. Il problema maggiore è però che non sono riuscita a dormire entrambe le notti che ho passato lì in quanto non c’è il minimo isolamento tra le camere, né per quanto riguarda i muri né per le porte, che andrebbero decisamente sostituite. La cucina non viene mai chiusa, il che potrebbe essere un fattore positivo, ma si rivela un problema se si trovano altri ospiti maleducati, come nel mio caso, che ridono e parlano senza problemi anche dopo l’una di notte. Forse bisognerebbe valutare di mettere un orario, o di essere più stringenti. Io avevo la camera col bagno privato, che si trova però attaccata ai bagni in comune e quindi sentivo ogni volta le porte sbattere. C’è davvero troppo rumore tra gli ambienti.

No hot water, super cold in the room. No clean towels in the kitchen. No desk in the room. June, booked a queen bed room with private bathroom.

The place is pretty convenient and comfortable for staying. Nice house and good place for children to play around a little. Will definitely consider it again.

As it was raining, it was a little dark trying to find the exact unit to the house that day .

唯一好處是距離湖很近 廚房跟住宿的地方是隔開的，當天下雨，所以要冒著雨到廚房有點麻煩 洗澡的地方真的很簡陋，連洗髮精沐浴乳都沒有，希望可以加上去 住宿的門沒有很好開跟鎖，可能是因為環境老舊的關係

The accommodation was clean, kitchen well equiped with all the necessary facilities, and staff were kind and supportive.

Nothing in particular, the bed was a bit small considering me and my mom sharing same room, I thought we could have two small beds, but overall it was all good.

Uma hospedagem muito bem organizada e muito próxima do Lago. Um lugar muito bem cuidado, a cozinha é muito bem equipada.

Los baños comunes tenianmal olor y sólo 1 tenía buena presión de agua. No se veía que se hiciera aseo para mantener los baños limpios durante el día. Por otro lado la calefacción de la pieza hacía más ruido que lo que calentaba
