It’s not the properties fault but because of the late night star gazing there’s a lot of noise after midnight because everyone’s coming back and slamming doors so it’s quite disruptive for sleeping

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026施設内はどこも綺麗でした。共用キッチンの目の前にテカポ湖が広がっていて、眺めが良かったです、コンセントは普通の電源プラグ以外に、USBのものとタイプCのものもあったので便利でした。ロッカーとベッド下収納もありました。ドライヤーも洗面所にあったので助かりました。
掛け布団が薄く、9月中旬にはまだ寒かったです。厚手のパジャマを持っていけば良かったです。

スタッフの対応が悪すぎる！デポジット払えと言って、何の説明もなくカードのセキュリティコードまで確認された！しかも、その他について何も説明されなかった！WiFiに関してやゲート通過時のセキュリティ解除、チェックアウト時の方法等、本当に何も説明が無かった！タウポのハカは対応良かったが、あまりにも違い過ぎて残念だった！キッチンも混雑か酷く料理を作るのは難しい、共有スペースも人で溢れかえっていて寛げない。シャワールームの脱衣場は水浸し、トイレは尿が飛び散っていて使えたもんじゃなかった。この金額を払うなら、他の宿にした方が良かった。

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026This is the best Haka hotel I have ever stayed at. I travel around New Zealand quite often, and the Haka hotels in Queenstown and Tekapo have both left a deep impression on me. In particular, the Haka in Lake Tekapo is absolutely outstanding. The parking, facilities, and location are all excellent. In my opinion, it is by far the best Haka hotel I have stayed at in New Zealand. Highly recommended!

I would like to raise a concern regarding the restaurant cleaning staff. Three French cleaners speak extremely loudly while working, which disrupts our morning breakfast. In addition, their cleaning schedule seems completely irregular, frequently disturbing guests throughout meal times. And their cleaning level is not good at all. Could you please look into this issue and ensure a set cleaning schedule and a quieter dining environment?

On a clear night, from the room, we could benefit from this being a "dark sky" area. What a night-time view!

連泊で掃除がされないのは仕方ないとは思ったけど、掃除お願いするかしないかを選べるとさらに良かった。お願いしたらタオル交換は快くしてくれたので助かった。

Shared areas (kitchens, bathrooms etc) were very busy and cleanliness was good but could have been a bit better but still good considering high traffic with people.

部屋の扉の開け閉めがうるさい。 自分の部屋以外の扉の音も聞こえる。 テカポの星空を夜見るのに、朝はゆっくりしていたくても6:00-9:00ぐらいまで各部屋の出入りが多く起きてしまう。 静かに閉めたくても扉の構造状どうしてもガチャンと鳴る。

The room was bare essentials. Small frosted window overlooking the dumpsters. No bedside table, no chair. Just a bed, stool, small empty fridge, and clothes hanger/shelf combo. There was an electric jug but no tea making supplies. For $287 a night we were expecting more.

Awful sewerage smell coming from our ensuite bathroom. Needs to be addressed.

Bed wasn’t super comfortable and it was quite noisy in the corridors late evening. It was fine for one night, but I don’t think I’d have been happy staying longer.

Everything old furniture and unpainted selling, very bad location for expensive fair rate up 300$ for b-----t room 😅!!!
