Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin - Round Rock Area by IHG

No guest coffee service nor any type of utensils. Room refrigerator did not have a freezer compartment.

The staff made our stay extra enjoyable as they were very friendly and accommodating Breakfast provided all the usual items with a few extras to sweeten your taste buds.

There was no cabana or gazebo in the pool area to provide shade so pool usage was limited to late evening when the sun set behind the surrounding buildings

It was disgusting, everything was banged up, the beds were still wet from the washer when got in bed, the sheets and pillows were stinky like bleach mixed with cigarettes. The door handle in our bathroom was broken, the stomping above our room was obnoxious and I felt dirty the whole time I was there. Not impressed what so ever.

Beds were a little too hard

Dear Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, my experience fell far below the level of comfort and service I expected. During the first two nights of our stay, our room had an extreme humidity problem. The moisture was so severe that the bed sheets were damp, forcing us to use a hair dryer just to make them dry enough to sleep on. Even our insulated water bottles were covered in condensation on the outside while inside the room. I reported the issue to the front desk the morning after the first night and was assured it would be resolved. However, nothing changed, and we were forced to spend a second night under the exact same conditions. It was not until the third day that we were finally moved to another room. Unfortunately, the issues continued even after the room change. Housekeeping was consistently inadequate. The beds were poorly made, tissues were never replenished once they ran out, and it was evident that the room was not being cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. As a result of having to sleep for two nights in such damp conditions, I am now experiencing a sore throat and significant chest pain after returning home. I am very concerned that these symptoms may be related to the unhealthy environment we were exposed to during our stay. In addition, on several nights, other guests repeatedly and aggressively banged on our door at approximately 1:00 a.m. I was staying alone with my two young daughters, making these incidents especially frightening and unsettling. We did not feel safe, and it significantly affected our ability to rest. Overall, what should have been an enjoyable vacation became an extremely unpleasant experience due to the poor condition of the room, the lack of timely action after my complaint, inadequate housekeeping, and repeated disturbances during the night. Given the circumstances, I respectfully request a partial refund for the amount paid, as the

It was my road trip and I booked the last minute as it’s along the highway 35 so it was convenient for my itinerary ! The staff was helpful ! The facility was clean and the room was spacious and overall the pleasant stay

I like that the property was close to everything! Was there for my daughter’s competition at the Kalhari resort!

What I didn’t like was the hotel was nosey constant kids running around doors slamming barely got good rest! The beds aren’t that comfortable, sink was stuffed up! Shower curtains are to short water kept running on the floor! Curtains in room are peeling hotels needs an update!

Employees nice, clean rooms, decent breakfast. Great coffee

Location getting to and from was a lot just because highway and overpass. People next to us and above were extremely loud 24/7

It was centrally located and provided easy access to shopping and eating places.

It didn’t have slip resistant materials in the shower. Please fix that right away. Someone might slip and fall and receive a serious injury.

It’s a good clean facility and a great location. No complaints. Stay there again anytime

No problem, I was good

Nice and clean.

The carpet felt dirty and the room had a stuffy smell to it.

Everything! Our stay was very comfortable! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! 😊 will definitely book again!!

Convenient location of stores

The property was clean & well managed however we had an issue with our room. The Master light was not working when we walked in the room the first night (Friday). We reported it to the front desk and a staff member came to the room to verify. She stated a work ticket would be placed for the next day (Saturday). We were called Saturday morning around 9am by the front desk and we were asked when would be a convenient time for someone to come look at the light. Since we were up already, I told her they could come over now. She said ok and hung up. A few seconds later she called me back and said that the person that was coming to fix it preferred if we weren’t in the room and wanted to know what time we were leaving the hotel. I told her we wouldn’t leave til later that morning but we preferred for the repair to be done while we were still here. She said ok and someone would be right up. We stayed in the room til 1130 and no one showed up. We ended up leaving the hotel and didn’t return back til about 4pm. We figured someone would have gone while we were out. However when we came back to the room, the light still wasn’t working and no paperwork or messages had been left to inform us that someone had stopped by so we assumed that no one ever came. We left the following morning (Sunday) and were never contacted by anyone about the issue. Although we did have a pleasant stay, we felt that the customer service and lack of follow through to resolve the issue, put a damper on our stay.

The bed was so comfortable and the pillow. I was trying to find out what kind of pillows those are so I can purchase some..

My total bill was $78.24 but my card was charged $103.24

My room always had a damp/musty smell; carpet felt damp to the touch when walking in bare feet. Even with lowering the AC to 68 degrees did not help the dampness feel.

The room was clean, spacious and nice.

There were no water bottles/drinking water facility inside the room. I found that strange. Breakfast options were not much. Cinnamon rolls were out of stock. There was nothing great other than sausages and egg. The coffee machine inside the room didn't work. I had struggle connecting to wifi and had to reach out to support for getting connected. Also, I was overcharged for my booking.

I like the convenience of the location being near huge retail areas and plenty of space nearby. All the essentials I needed for a good trip was in close proximity of the hotel and the hotel itself was very clean, in a nice well lit area. Highly recommend.

First day of breakfast was okay. Lots of options but was bummed out to not receive scrambled eggs. They made up for it the next day with a whole pan of scrambled eggs which were very good!
