L emplacement nous a permis de tout faire à pied. Très bien isolé de la rue et literie confortable. Un petit plus pour les casiers accessibles avant l heure qui nous a permis de laisser les sacs de voyage.

The staff is super kind! Antonio arranged a later checkout for me which I really really appreciated sinceI fell ill and my flight was leaving late. The room is spacious and nicely set up. The location is 10/10, right in the heart of Chiado.

The walls were pretty thin and you could hear most doors opening/closing and people coming in.

Very noisy, from inside and from outside. When a guest moves on the kitchen or on the access areas, noise is generate for each step. Acoustic isolation is very poor; noise from outside is also very noticeable.

Tive o azar de ter problemas com o aparelho de ar condicionado durante toda a estadia, e fez muito calor. O proprietário me disponibilizou um ventilador, e isso ajudou, mas mesmo assim foi inconveniente.

Ottima posizione, vicino ai vari punti centrali ed vicino a tutti i mezzi di trasporto. Camera confortevole e pulita.

Poco insonorizzata, e con tanto scalina, ma cmq niente che nn sia scritto nella descrizione della struttura.

El alojamiento se encontraba en el centro de Lisboa a aproximadamente 5 min andando de la plaza del comercio. Todo estaba muy limpio y cuidado. Sin duda volveríamos a elegir este alojamiento si volvemos a Lisboa y por supuesto lo recomendaremos!!

Locker para utilização antes do check in e pós check out foi fundamental para nossa escolha. Não tem cobrança e fica dentro do apto. Bem localizado, próximo do cais do Sodré, metrô, ônibus na porta, próximo da rua Augusta, praça do comércio e pink street. Apto com cozinha compartilhada com microondas, pia e geladeira. Sem fogão. Ar condicionado no quarto foi fundamental.

Não possuir frigobar dentro do quarto fez falta. Poderia ter um banheiro fora do apto para uso ante e após check out. Prédio sem elevador mas é o comum em Lisboa, então já sabíamos que teríamos que subir alguns lances de escada e levamos somente mala de mão.

The apartment is absolutely NOT worth the price. For the amount of money charged, I expected at least a basic level of comfort. Unfortunately, almost everything that matters for a comfortable stay was disappointing. The air conditioning worked TERRIBLY and was practically useless. The room was constantly hot, stuffy and had an unpleasant smell. In Lisbon in August, having properly functioning air conditioning is not a luxury – especially when AIR CONDITIONING is specifically advertised as one of the amenities. The shower was another nightmare. The water would suddenly change from extremely hot to cold, so every shower felt like a gamble – you never knew whether you were going to burn yourself or freeze. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, which meant that getting a good night’s sleep was basically impossible. After spending the whole day exploring the city, the very least you expect is to come back to a comfortable, fresh room and get some proper rest. That was definitely not the case here. What frustrates me most is seeing accommodation like this charging relatively high prices while failing to provide even the basic level of comfort that guests are paying for. I am tired of hosts expecting guests to pay premium prices while making little effort to ensure the actual quality of the stay. The apartment absolutely DID NOT live up to the good ratings it has on Booking.com. Based on those reviews, I expected something completely different. For €208.30, this was extremely disappointing and very poor value for money. I would not stay here again and, based on my experience, I cannot recommend it.

The luggage lockers were great so we could continue to walk around after checkout before we left for the airport. The bathroom was nice and spacious.

Alles ok - erwähnenswert ist vielleicht die relativ steile Holztreppe.

Habitación grande y cómoda con una buena ubicación y vista al exterior. El Hotel se encuentra cerca de sitios turísticos y de estaciones de transporte.

El baño presentó dificultades en el desague de la ducha, que fué informado vía whatsApp al administrador, adicionalmente, mejorar la limpieza debajo de la cama y revisar malos olores en la cafetería ubicada al exterior de las habitaciones.

Great location, great sized comfortable room. Felt secure. Nice to have access to small kitchenette including bar fridge.

Some more towel hanging options would have been the only thing to improve on but we managed fine.

Location is perfect. Close to trains, metro, bars everything. Rooms are cleaning every day. The view was nice.

The biggest downside is noise. You can hear other rooms conversations, plug ins, footsteps even flushings. Couldn't sleep well. Also the bed was so hard for. my preference.

La stanza è perfetta per passare qualche giorno a visitare Lisbona. Il bagno è spazioso e il letto molto comodo. C’è a disposizione una cucina comune che ho apprezzato molto. La posizione è centrale.

Easy access into building, although no actual staff onsite. Good communication prior to travel. Good location, few minutes from river, Time Out food market and main square. Ideal for train station if heading up the coast to Estoril or Cascais.

Booked river view but only really a glimpse of river. Wasn't a problem as we were hardly in the room, so would say it's probably not necessary if intending to spend majority of time out and about.

Unfortunately these old buildings struggle with damp smells, but with the air con and extracter fan on it helps. Unfortunately no lift for heavy luggage.

ホテルの玄関まで階段なので大きいスーツケースの方は、大変だと思います。

Check in automatico tramite codici e quindi flessibilità di orari di arrivo e partenza. La camera e bagno molto ampi e struttura accogliente e che si affacciava sulla piazza.

Tutto molto bello, unico difetto potrebbe essere che si sentono i rumori dal corridoio (chi se ne va, chi viene e chi parla fuori dalla stanza etc)

The location was great - 5 minutes from the metro and so many of the main sites nearby

The location given was a bit misleading and lead us to the building across the road and then points around that, we had to find the entrance ourselves after a process of exclusion

Location is amazing, fun and safe. Clean , smell good every day. Stuff friendly. Beds are very comfortable.

Very spacious and gorgeous views. On day of arrival they had a bottle of wine and chocolate and a birthday card waiting for us as I had mentioned it was my boyfriend’s birthday on our trip which was so lovely of them! Location was great and the room was very comfortable

Es hat alles unkompliziert geklappt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Bad geschmackvoll renoviert. Alles sauber, die Handtücher waren eine sehr gute Qualität, Dusch und Haarmittel hatten einen angenehmen Duft. Die Matratzen waren hart und sehr bequem, neuer Zustand. Die Doppelverglasung der Fenster haben den Straßenlärm gut abgeblockt. Die dunklen Holzläden haben das Licht und tagsüber die Wärme gut abgehalten. Die Küche war sauber, habe sie nicht genutzt. Habe die anderen Gäste nachts nicht gehört. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, super Lage und absolut unkompliziert in der Handhabe. Gerne wieder

The location was perfect. Check in is a self check-in and I overlooked the instructions but despite my failure, it was very quick and responsive when I reached out to the support line. So it is really well organized. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I strongly recommend to other travellers.

Not exactly what I don`t like, but just as a notice to future guests. If you have a big luggage, you need to carry it up some stairs, no elevator. Please keep this in mind.

It’s difficult for people with some mobility issues to get the luggage up those stairs. Air con is not very efficient.

The location was perfect and a very comfortable bed for the night.

Coded doors are fine, but 3 times when I returned to the property, other guests had not closed the doors properly. Twice the inner door, and at 2300, the outer door. This makes the property not very secure.

Πολύ κοντά στην πλατεία Commercio αλλά και στο Cais do Sodre. Εύκολο check-in με κωδικούς που αποστέλλονται με μήνυμα αρκέτα νωρίτερα. Δεν μπορείς να κάνεις early check-in αλλά έχει lockers που μπορείς να αφήσεις τις αποσκευές όσες ώρες θέλεις και πριν το check-in αλλά και μετά το check-out. Καθαρό και ευρύχωρο και είχε ζεστό νερό όλη μέρα.

Είχε μόνο έναν καθρέφτη μέσα στο μπάνιο και δεν είχε πολύ καλό φωτισμό.

Hotel extremamente bem localizado, muito próximo da maioria dos pontos turísticos, como a Praça do Comércio, a Sé, o Arco do Triunfo, o Castelo de São Jorge e vários miradouros, além de estações de trem e metrô. O quarto era bem organizado e confortável. Limpeza impecável, com serviço de quarto diário, incluindo arrumação e troca de toalhas.

Fabulous central location but rooms were still quiet. Really comfortable beds, light and airy rooms; good communal kitchen so you could make a cup of tea, have breakfast etc. Big lockers to store your luggage. Its about 6 rooms, all ensuite but its like an Airbnb...no staff on site, you just let yourself in and out which works perfectly

Zimmer war sehr sauber und wurde täglich gereinigt.Die Lage ist sehr zentral und auch gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar.

Es ist keine Rezeption vorhanden, man wird im voraus per E-Mail über die Zugangscodes informiert. Das funktioniert aber sehr gut.

Super Lage, einfaches Ankommen, ganz in der Nähe der Pink Street. Gerne wieder.

Everything was great the only thing was noise coming out of the street because of the tram line in front. For people with sensitive sleep, it could be an issue. The rest was great!

The location was in walking distance to many attractions, but also close to public transport. The room was perfect for what I needed. Space to hanging clothes, clean and spacious bathroom. My room was cleaned daily.

The bed was very hard and the pillows were not great, but that is my personal opinion. The walls are very thin, bring ear plugs. Guest House does not offer ‘do not disturb’ door hangers.

This was my third stay at the Lisbon Old Town Guest House. It always meets my expectations, and I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Lisbon. It is located near the river, close to the Metro, buses and Trolley lines. The Alfama is a short walk and great restaurants and historical sites are well within reach. I have always been satisfied with my stays there.

I have no complaints about this Guest House.
