Solar dos Poetas

Super Lage, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal

Location, staff,breakfast,

Shower

Central location, very nice furnishings, good selection at breakfast. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The central location in a square with plenty of local transport options close to hand without the area being unduly noisy. Exceptional cleanliness. Good, varied breakfast. Comfortable room and hotel in general.

The only issue was a lack of a room safe for valuables (although there was the option of using the hotel’s own safe storage at reception)

Ingen ting

The location is perfect, and the architecture of the building is beautiful. The breakfast was super good.

The rooms were kinda loud, you can hear the other guests, but being and old building it’s normal.

Excelent location, staff are very kind, room is comfortable, breakfast is very good

Location and all the great service!! Breakfast is awesome!!

Nothing

I like the style of the building, the design and the decor. The location was good, very close to public transportation and many places too eat, drink and shop. And the breakfast was delicious, it had plenty of food options for all type of diets, fresh fruit every day!

The elevator is tight only for two people or one with lots of luggage.

Great location, breakfast really nice, nice cool room

Nothing

friendly staff, breakfast was a good selection, room was clean

breakfast hours could have started earlier, we had to miss due to an early tour we needed to be at before 8am room was on the smaller size

Charmantes Hotel an perfekter Lage. Sehr freundliches Personal, gut ausgestattete Bar, Gutes und frisches Frühstücksangebot

O atendimento da equipe é fantástico. Café da manhã muito gostoso. Quarto limpo, roupas de cama e banho limpas e de boa qualidade.

Great location and despite it being next to a very busy and viby square, the room was quiet, dark and temperature controlled at night, we slept like babies. Staff very helpful and friendly

Coffee at breakfast buffet could be better

Great location Good staff Fairly good breakfast

Small room. Glass cubicle shower in the bedroom! Slippery shower floor. No kettle in the room, just a coffee machine. This is a poor choice limiting opinions. Terribly old slow tiny lift. The limited hot breakfast options were the same each day.Small room. Glass cubicle shower in the bedroom! Slippery shower floor. No kettle in the room, just a coffee machine. Great location, messy interior design. Also, not very clean. Breakfast is chaotic - small space for a lot of guests.

A localização é excelente e o café da manhã é delicioso. O quarto é lindo, limpo e confortável. Os funcionários são super gentis.

Não há nada que não gostamos.

Muito bom!

Sentimos falta de um Frigobar

Localização excelente, ao lado do metro e permite fazer vários passeios andando. Decoração super colorida e animada, tudo limpo e bem cuidado.

The room was nicely decorated and the staff was very kind. It’s also well situated.

The bathroom was tiny and super uncomfortable. Breakfast had no gluten-free and vegan options

Location, breakfast

Location

I loved everything

Location was great and the staff were very helpful and bubbly. Breakfast was pretty good.

Bedroom and bathroom we very small. Couldn’t the sink properly due to tiny size and position of a shelf over it. We’ve travelled a great deal around Porto, Cascais and Albufiera this year, by far the smallest, and most uncomfortable room and bathroom we have had.

Location and very kind front desk staff.

Nothing particular

Otantik yerleri sevmeyenlere biraz kasvetli gelebilir bina yapısı nedeniyle

Central location

Cleaning can be a little more better

The best possible location

The beds arent so comfortable, when one moves the other feel the movement too

posizione e stanza

tutto bene

Location: Good location, walkable to most of major attractions. Busy area and difficult to access by car. The front door is at the bus stop so there were always many people and crowded. Room: Excellent, clean and comfortable, nice views Breakfast: We loved the fresh fruits, pastries and coffee were just okay. Could be a better coffee?

Very busy area at the front of the hotel door. Not easy access by a car. Coffee was ot good.

It was located in a great location and had awesome shared spaces!

I purchased a square and river view room and definitely could not view the river. I was frustrated that it was advertised as a river view with no view. The bar in the hotel lobby was also never open for the duration of our stay.

The staff were fantastic! Everyone was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was super great with a large variety and abundant food.

The primary picture on the ad shows a sister property and not the Solar dos Poetas.l building. It was actually quite deceiving and left us confused when we arrived about which building we were staying in. This was not great. Our room was okay but lacked a window with any view, which left me feeling a bit claustrophobic. Our window opened to mechanical space that just looked at an enclosed area that was hot with machine exhaust. There were no available rooms when I asked immediately upon arrival if we could move. Again the staff was kind and accommodating but between the deceptive ad and the not awesome room it took the shine off of an otherwise good experience.

Centrale plek

Pulizia, posizione, colazione, personale, stile dell' hotel

Avrei messo un doccino in bagno

Good breakfast, super friendly staff, so central to everywhere we wanted to go, highly recommend for a more authentic yesteryear stay

such an amazing hotel! both me and my husband loved it! super cozy vibe inside with vintage interior and romantic atmosphere. also a really calm and harmonic hotel that really felt like an oasis right next to the busy inner city location. we absolutely loved everything about this hotel!

Location was very good . Easy access to everywhere . The room was so small if you got a hard on , you run the risk of having an accident.but just 3 steps to toilet from bed . so using loo at night was easy .

Normal size room for starters . One side of bed was higher than the other so I felt as if I was rolling of bed . also the noise was unbearable . ? Hotel Should supply some ear plugs

Tudo limpo e funcionando.

The location is central, good breakfast, and the room has ac.

The shower leaks every time you shower. When you get out, there is a puddle upon stepping out. Lastly, My husband and I are on our honeymoon. We requested to upgrade the room weeks prior and got confirmation from the staff that we are all set. When we arrived, the room was not upgraded nor did they have any more rooms available. The manager compensated us with a bottle of champagne which was sweet of them. Not worth the price.

La colazione era deliziosa! Lo staff era raffinato e professionale. Il letto - comodissimo. Posizione eccellente. L'albergo é bellissimo 🥰

Il check out per me é presto alle 11:00 😉

The location is very convenient to public transportation. Many outstanding restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel has 5 floors but an elevator is available. The breakfast has a variety of fruits, meats, cheeses. breads, desserts, drinks, and eggs. There are plenty of tables to accommodate everybody. Hotel also has air conditioning.

Unfortunately we were not given a room with a view even though we made the reservations 6 months or so in advance. We were on the 5th floor, the rooms with a view are on the lower floors. Next time we will specifically request a room on a lower floor with a view of the city.

Linpeza, espaço, simpatia das pessoas. Impecavel

Das sie altmodisch war

Der Blick aus dem Schlafzimmer

Palazzo d’epoca bellissimo e in posizione eccellente. Pulitissimo e personale molto intelligente e servita.

The hotel was in a great location. The staff were great. The breakfast terrific and the room was perfect.

The lighting was a little dim.

Posizione e personale.

Perfecte locatie, heel centraal gelegen. Veel leuke winkels en eetplekken in de buurt. Mooi hotel. Prima ontbijt.

room was a bit cramped, location was good, central to public transport

room was smaller than I expected and didnt have a great view, also there was noise late into the night

Could have had one more pillow & washcloth.

The location is wonderful! You are very close to the world's longest-running bookstore, and right on the tram line. It's a nice part of the city, very cheerful. There are excellent restaurants very close by. Our room was elegant. The AC worked wonderfully. The breakfast was a real bonus - so nice to have that every morning with no fuss.

The "antique" elevator is a little odd, but functional. It would be nice if there were more of a lobby area, but that would just be a bonus.

Loved the property. Beautiful room. Staff was kind and helpful.

The only thing I would recommend would be more shelf space in the bathroom. Otherwise perfect for me.

Stylish and fun with focus on Portuguese poets

Nothing

Ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam personeel, super schone en fijne kamers. Mooi ingericht.

The staff were exceptional. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating!

Breakfast was wonderful. Well above expectations! The menu selection was varied and delicious, perfect way to start the day. Location was ideal. Transportation was right outside the door, and many tourist locations were within walking distance.

I can't think of any negatives. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was bright and attractive but small. However, hotel rooms in New York City aren't large either. Bathroom was modern, clean and large. I would stay again without hesitation.

La literie très confortable

L'approvisionnement petit déjeuner tardif : œufs brouillés particulierement

Localização e quartos

Gostei de tudo

Excellent breakfast, location and friendly staff

Nothing!

Exceptionally kind workers, very clean, breakfast was beyond amazing.

Amazing location and place to stay!

Nothing, everything was great

Location, and everything!

Nothing

Locatie, leuke inrichting, gezellige kamers, vriendelijk personeel

Kleine kamers

Average breakfast. Amazing location.

We were not able to get into our room until way after scheduled time. Staff was dismissive and no effort to make amends for our discomfort after a very long travel day.

Beautiful decorated rooms!

Should have at least a very small fridge in the room.

The location

The lift.

The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. Breakfast was very good. Location was great.

There was noise from the street in the night. Also when guests would talk in the corridor it sounded very loud in the room.

La posizione e la particolarità della struttura

Nulla

So nice that breakfast was included. The rooms were so charming and had so much personality to them. Our room looked over the prettiest streets in building buildings where we could people watch. Had AC, which was game changer.

Very clean which is most important for me. Great staff. Convenient location, walkable to restaurants, cafes, shopping.

Breakfast options were limited

Perfect Location , right in the middle of the city, everything just a short walk away. Famous Number 28 tram right outside the hotel Short walk to popular tourist spots. all within 10 minutes. Convenient access to underground parking opposite if driving Very well decorated rooms , comfortable and clean throughout

Location was amazing! Super central to all the best spots, and they have great windows so the sound doesn't leak through from the busy street. The hotel is gorgeous and charming! Super cold AC which was a life saver in the summer, elevator for your suitcases, really kind staff.

For such a beautiful hotel, their pillows were super thin and flat - that's my only complaint if I had to think of one.

Clean nice rooms

Could improve breakfast but it’s ok

The location was great and the staff available and kind, breakfast ok.

Does not feel like a hotel, more a B&B. The rooms were ok but no safe available/phone to call reception in the room and few towels to use. In general for the price payed it was not what I expected, would have booked a house on Airbnb instead.

Location, service, breakfast, stuff

Location great and staff friendly

Loved it!

Location Well maintained

Breakfast starts too late Pillows not great Staff not very attentive on check in. No advice or details for anything!
