The facilities in the room were quite basic. There was no kettle for brewing a tea/coffee in the room. The room was very hot although fans were available and you could open the window. The shower fitting was broken.

Die tolle Nähe zum Hbf. bringt natürlich nicht gerade die beste Atmosphäre ums Hotel herum.

Das Zimmer ist sehr warm. Auch durch 2 Ventilatoren konnte man es nicht angenehmer machen. Leider ist der Einstieg zum Duschen in die Wanne sehr beschwerlich.

Das Dachgeschoss Zimmer hatte leider keinen Anschluss an die Klimaanlage. Dadurch entstanden Zimmertemperatur um die 30°.

bei 33°C hatte ich nachts das Fenster geöffnet, das ging gar nicht. Der Lärm der Gäste aussen vom Ristorante Café d'Or war unerträglich vor allem das Gelächter der Frauen

Malheureusement sans climatisation et en pleine période de canicule le ventilateur au plafond plus un autre d'appoint étaient insuffisants. Le bruit dans la rue ne permettait pas d'ouvrir la fenêtre la nuit pour rafraichir une chambre surchauffée. Le personnel d'accueil plus ou moins avenant.

コーヒーが部屋で飲めないのと、ロビーでもコーヒーのサービスがなかったのが辛かった。部屋にポットもないので、コーヒーを部屋でDripすることもできない。

Es un hotel con instalaciones modernizadas y aunque no tenga aire acondicionado funciona de forma adecuada con ventilador de techo y de columna. Tiene nevera muy nueva, lo que no ha informado booking en la descripción del hotel. La ubicación es perfecta para los que viajan en tren, al estar frente a una de las entradas principales de la estación central de tren. A la vez esta muy cerca del centro de la ciudad: siguiendo por la calle del hotel llegas a la plaza Carlos que es la entrada que da a la calle del ayuntamiento, catedral, mercado …. Creo que el personal hace lo que puede, pues impresiona ser poco para el movimiento de un hotel que debe tener muchas habitaciones. Elegimos una habitación interior e intentaron, a petición nuestra, darnos una habitación exterior pero eso retrasaba darnos la entrada, pero la actitud ya era buena y la habitación que nos correspondía resultaba suficiente. En la entrada te facilitan fruta y bollería así como agua fría. Y el primer día te dan una botella de agua como cortesía. El precio compensa los aspectos menos óptimos.
Tener un solo ascensor resulta escaso para un hotel de mucho movimiento.

War alles Ok. Unter Umständen wird das Zimmer bei Hitze warm, da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026De locatie is echt top. Direct tegenover het station. Nauwelijks een minuut lopen. De kamer was ruim voor een persoon. Alles netjes verzorgd. Heel schoon. Personeel was aardig. En je merkt door de superisolatie niets van het rumour buiten. Ik kon al een uur eerder inchecken, omdat ik vroeger arriveerde. Kamer was al klaar. Ik mocht kiezen of ik water of sprankling water als gratis welkomstcadeau naar mijn kamer meenam.
Eigenlijk nauwelijks iets. Bv een waterkoker op de kamer zou prettig zijn geweest.

In this day an age every hotel should have airconditioning. They are living 80 years ago before World War II.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Die sehr zentrale Lage direkt gegenüber des Münchner Hauptbahnhofs (Südausgang); das Personal war immer ansprechbar und freundlich.
Wir waren Mitte August für 2 Nächte im 7. Stock untergebracht (Dachgeschoss) und ich muss, ehrlicherweise und bei aller Wertschätzung, sagen, dass ich noch nie ein so aufgeheiztes, stickiges, nicht bzw. kaum zu lüftendes Zimmer erlebt habe. Es ist keine Klimaanlage eingebaut, was zwar vorher kommuniziert wurde, aber überall provisorische Ventilatoren aufzustellen (auch im Frühstückssaal), ist sicherlich nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Selten sind wir morgens dermaßen unausgeschlafen, verschwitzt und verspannt (durchgelegene Matratzen!) in den Tag gestartet. Also Leute, passt auf, dass ihr nicht im Dachgeschoss einquartiert werdet oder reist besser gar nicht im Sommer an!
