Very comfortable accommodation, guest lounge, and fabulous views. Host did everything he could to make me feel at home. As I was leaving early, he arranged for me to have a breakfast in my room. That was a bonus as I thought I'd have to forfeit breakfast. Other staff very friendly and helpful. All in all i was sorryvto only spend one night and really hope to return.

Rooms were excellent and well equipped. Breakfast was superb. Loved the attention to detail throughout the guesthouse, loved being able to go for a nature walk.

The house, the room, the veranda and the view was very beatuful. The temperature was perfect in the room, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts were lovely, very hospitable and made our stay just perfect. Everything exceeded our expectations!

The view is amazing especially looking out at night over the city lights. Breakfast was more than enough and very tasty. Rooms are super clean and comfortable.

We honestly couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The room and the whole property had absolutely everything you could possibly need, literally everything, whether for the beach or for making your stay more comfortable. Everything was spotless, very comfortable and thoughtfully prepared. What really made the stay special, though, was the owners and staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely willing to help. We asked if we could use the barbecue, and they had it all prepared for us in time for dinner. They also came to tell us that we should probably leave earlier than planned for the airport, just to be safe, which we thought was such a thoughtful detail. Because that meant we wouldn’t have time for breakfast, they left us bread, butter and jam so we could make something ourselves before leaving and not go to the airport on an empty stomach. We only stayed for one night and still received so much attention and kindness. They really went above and beyond for us, even with things they absolutely didn’t have to do. We are incredibly grateful and would highly recommend 43 on Sandstone.

We had such a lovely stay at 43 on Sandstone. Beautiful views, very safe and peaceful setting, and a beautifully decorated Airbnb with gorgeous Bali vibes. The owners were so warm, welcoming and accommodating. And the cherry on top was Sam! 🐾❤️ Such an adorable, well-mannered and lovable dog who made us feel right at home. We truly loved our stay and will definitely be back! ❤️

I've stayed at 43 on Sandstone four times now, and honestly, it’s starting to feel like a second home. Every time I come back, I'm reminded just why I love it so much. The room was amazing—the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was huge with a great walk-in shower. It was also really nice having Netflix and YouTube set up to unwind with in the evenings. The staff are always so warm and friendly, and it was great seeing a few familiar faces again. I really appreciate the little extras too, like having picnic baskets and umbrellas handy. What really sets this place apart, though, is where it's located. The surrounding nature, walking trails, mountain views, and sunsets are unbelievable. Even coming here in August during the winter, the infinity pool was stunning and just added to how peaceful everything felt. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful spot to properly unplug and relax, I can't recommend 43 on Sandstone enough. I’m already counting down the days until my next stay.

We booked a room at 43 on Sandstone for my boyfriend's birthday. Our room was super private with all of the facilities they stated to have. The vanity mirror with the lights made getting ready so much easier! We had a lovely private outdoor seating area with a beautiful view of Somerset Wes. They even decorated our room with birthday decorations free of charge! They also have a super cute Goldie called Sam.

The breakfast was excellent and generous. The bed was the best I have ever experienced at any guesthouse or hotel! The view was beautiful, but very limited from our room.

It was wonderful to be welcomed so late at night to check in and then see the beautiful room with a view of lights far down. The next morning was an easy and slow rise with the most charming breakfast setting and delicious choice of what to enjoy with your coffee. Just a piece of heaven overnight stop.

Make a turn it's worth it. Sam 🐕‍🦺 and co (Joanne and Murray - the hoomans) are awesome hosts. The "kitchen" nook is a brilliant idea for compact spaces. I need to come back when it's summer or at least hot weather so I can enjoy the pool area.

The environment was peaceful. Hosts were very friendly. the Property is beautiful. Breakfast was great as well.

My husband and I spent time there for our Birthday and 10 year wedding anniversary. It was warm, cozy, inviting and a wonderful experience. We liked everything from the fireplace to the decor and excellent hospitality of Murray and Joanne including the dog Sam.

I would have preferred a more comfortable chair in the room. The small woven chairs, although elegant, were not large enough for me to sit comfortably. This resulted in me having to lay on the bed to read.

This is one of my favourite places to to stay in Somerset West. The hosts are fantastic and the breakfast is superb. The accommodation itself is first class and there are no security issues

We had a short stay here, so we didn't get the chance to fully enjoy all the amenities. The host was incredibly friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the room had air conditioning, which we used for heating since it was quite cold during our stay. The view is exceptional.

It was clean, well decorated, comfortable and charming. Murray (the proprietor) really went out of his way to make sure we had an excellent stay, giving us great advice, as well as rising super early to give us breakfast before we had to leave to catch a flight.

My husband and I recently spent 2 delightful weeks here . From start to end we can only race about our experience . The setting is awesome and the best breakfasts we had in our 3 month stay in the cape . Jo and Murray went out of their way to make us feel right at home . Nothing was too much for them . The staff were all very professional and super friendly . Each room very comfy and catered beyond . Truly like being at home . We are already planning our trip back there next year .

Loved our stay there. The breakfast was amazing, and Sam (the dog) made the stay even better. The rooms are excluded from the rest of the house, so you still have your own privacy when you need it. The location is in the middle of everything, which makes it easy to find places to go to during the day, and you don't have to drive too far. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a change of scenery, holiday or just a break. The hosts were very welcoming

Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer, ist in einem Schrank verbaut, dass ist nachts nicht ganz ideal. Zimmer könnte etwas größer sein. Ist durch die diversen Sitzmöglichkeiten aber auch nicht weiter dramatisch. Bei Ein und Ausfahrt muss man ein Tor mit Code passieren.

Excellent stay with wonderful hosts - Joanne & Murray. The room we stayed in was fully equipped with everything you need and more! There are even baskets to take your stuff down to the pool. The breakfast is lovely, and the view is amazing. The estate is safe and has nice walking routes. There is enough parking, and it's easy to find. Would recommend to anyone in this area.

We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast, in front of the cozy fireplace. Our hosts, Joanna and Murray, were most gracious, so too was their friendly staff member’ Violet, who served us at breakfast.

The estate is very safe and secure with lovely views.

We booked for two nights but decided to leave after one. A key part of our booking was the inclusion of two single beds, which was important to us and confirmed prior to our arrival — but we arrived to find a double bed instead, which was disappointing. The staff on arrival was friendly, and the host was responsive and thoughtful — they checked in each morning about breakfast and quickly helped with the gate access pin. That said, comfort was an issue, The bed cushions were very thin, and with no extras provided, I had to fold a blanket under mine for some support. Unfortunately; we could clearly hear guests in the next room, when they arrived, when they left; their movements; and full conversations rifts outside our door; which felt a bit intrusive and awkward. The shower also had extremely very low water pressure. Having said that; the views are great and the estate is secure. That said, the estate is secure and peaceful, with lovely views, and overall the house itself is very charming. With a few comfort upgrades — especially around bed cushions, noise, and water pressure — this stay could easily become a truly restful retreat.
