Sehr zuvorkommende Eigentümerin. Auch für die Ausflüge zentral gelegen.

Es gibt nichts auszusetzen.

Es gab eine kleine Mikrowelle und Utensilien für Kaffee und Tee. Die Betten waren bequem. Man konnte auch auf einer Terrasse sitzen.

Wir hätten gern noch einen Toaster gehabt.

The shower water temperature fluctuated a lot

Motel-style accommodation with the usual pros and cons of this type of lodging. The nightly rate is a positive, while the soundproofing between rooms is not very effective. However, it is a perfect place to stay for a few nights on Manitoulin Island. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and the owners were very kind.

The staff was very thoughtful and friendly.

The light bulbs need to be replaced and we couldn't figure out how to stop the fan while keeping the lights on.

The owner was very helpful and the room was very clean.

Would have been nice if there was a restaurant (for lunch and dinner) close by.

I liked that the beach was close by and that we could get good coffee at Coco Beanz.

The coffee counter was in need of serious repair. It’s a bacteria trap. The overhead light worked in unison with the fan. I didn’t want the fan Just the light. And the door was tricky to open and close

Das sehr saubere Zimmer und die wunderbare Ruhe haben den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht. Die Lage und das äußere Erscheinungsbild des Motels sind sehr einladend. Die Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit bei der Begrüßung und der Verabschiedung durch die Besitzer machen den Aufenthalt perfekt. Wenn möglich, komme ich wieder. Nochmals "Danke" für das so saubere Zimmer - einfach eine Wohltat!

A very nice place to stay! Good accommodation, comfortable beds. Bathroom clean and easy to use. Convenient as a stop on the way to the ferry. Would happily stay there again!!

The room was comfortable for a few nights’ stay. It came equipped with a Keurig machine with Tim Hortons K-Cups, a fridge, and a microwave. The staff was friendly and very helpful when I called with questions. When I arrived, they provided extra towels and made it clear that if I needed anything, I shouldn’t hesitate to ask.

No real complaints, aside from the floors needing a quick mop, which I took care of myself. Other than that, everything was great.

Fireplace did not turn on, the bathroom floor was soft and the shower sprayed from the top pipe making the floor wet and slippery

Room was a bit small Shower didn’t have balance valve. Got scalding hot water followed by cold water before it balanced out.

The owners were so friendly & made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean & comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling in that area.

Although the room and bathroom was on the small size, it was clean and comfortable.

Our room was cosy, very clean and all the amenities we needed. The owner was very gracious and went out of her way to accommodate our late arrival. We would highly recommend this motel to anyone staying in the area.

Charming, well maintained older inn with friendly, helpful staff. The unit is equipped with a microwave and small fridge. Located in Manitowaning within walking distance of a grocery store and cafe.

Hotel was very clean, comfortable king size bed, drive up parking, great amenities for motel and easy check in.

We were very impressed with the service and room. When we arrived the windows in the room wouldn’t open and when we reported it they immediately changed our room. They were very friendly and I would highly recommend staying here.

all good considering where it's located which is a beautiful remote part of Ontario. Very clean and organized with thought put into the over all presentation.

We arrived after a full day of driving. The owner was welcoming and the space was peaceful. We sat under a willow tree in the yard and relaxed. Be aware that restaurants are not open on Monday and Tuesday nights (at least not in September). We got to the grocery store just before it closed a 6. Loved walking along the harbour in the early morning. Pretty and peaceful.

One of the few motels in that area of Manitoulin Island. Very welcoming host and very helpful. A decent restaurant in the area called the Garden Gate. The room was small but cozy and clean. Well set up with coffee and tea. Bathroom clean with a good selection of shampoo, bodywash and skin lotion

Loved the looks when we first arrived. The owners are lovely people. As our stay progressed the ceiling fan was wobbly and clanky so had to turn off. The bathroom crank window would'nt shut and lock.

The motel was clean and comfortable for single night on Manitoulin Island. The bed was comfortable. The location is close to both the bridge and ferry port. Dining options are limited and many close by 7 pm.

Room was described as having a kitchenette. It had only a small fridge, tiny microwave and a kettle and coffee maker. That is not a kitchenette.

This is a comfortable motel and the owners are on site and very responsive to requests for recommendations.

The room was clean and neat and host was cordial, so stay was pleasant. The only thing that was scary where huge spiders near lamp at the entrance to the room..

Perfect place to stop for the evening! Lots of pillows and blankets, paper towels, rags, etc everything you could want or need is provided

Conveniently located between the main road & village center. The room was clean, tidy and tastefully decorated suiting the lovely, historic atmosphere of the Manitowaning (with its museum, light house, water front, , , is much more than a transit point). There was a mistake in the handling of our booking but the friendly owner addressed the issue promptly & responsibly. Thank you very much for making our stay so very comfortable & enjoyable.

We road in on motorcycles in the rain, the staff had the heat on for us when we came in. Plus had rags available to wipe off the bike in the morning. These two things were a bonus for us.

Could use more lighting in the kitchen area.

Our room is very clean. We had refrigerator and microwave in our room as per room description on booking. Outdoor area was very nice with BBQ station and tables. Owners gave us BBQ toot set. which we forgot to bring with us. Location was easy to find. Air conditioner worked properly. Bathroom was clean.

The owners were amazing and just so sweet and kind. The room is small but well kept. Hard to find food after 6:30 pm when we arrived, so arrive earlier if you can or come self sustained.

Excellent room, clean and has everything you need for a night. The owner is super friendly! There is not much to do or see in the area, including food options.

We were running late for check-in, but it didn't matter. They were more than accommodating. Rooms are cute, clean and cozy. Pretty good size to be honest. A nice little tucked away place to stay. I'll definitely stay there again if I'm ever in the area.

Very clean and very quite. Betty Ann was amazing! She even helped us have the best experience with the Island, like a tour guy. Thanks to her, we had a map and visited all the best places in the Island very easily. Definately, all shouls visit the Island and stay at Myfriend Inn.

The Inn was very basic for the price. It was clean. A few added touches were appreciated e.g. the tea kettle. Our issue was finding a close place to eat. We ended up buying microwave dinners at the grocery store. It was quiet at night and a good little town to walk.

The owner (Betty Ann) was very nice and understanding when I lost the room key. Room was well laid out and functional.

Had a great stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and showed us around the area. Look forward to going back.

Clean, comfortable and the host was super friendly. Totally walkable within Manitowaning, though the options within town (especially for little kids) are somewhat limited. Would definitely stay again though.

Great inn. Innkeepers very friendly. There is a local hiking trail that has dog guides, whichnwas super fun. The island is low key...great place to recharge on your way across Ontario.

Camera recentemente rinnovata, ampia, luminosa e perfettamente pulita. Un plauso particolare al phon in dotazione: finalmente uno davvero efficiente, che asciuga i capelli come si deve! La posizione è strategica, a pochi minuti di auto da uno dei centri principali dell’isola e supermercato, ideale per esplorare comodamente i dintorni.

AC is too loud. Room has some kind moldy smell. The worst part is floor for some reason is soft, I almost felt because of that.

Shower outdated,toilet very low ,two bar stools available so uncomfortable.our stay was for 2nights but we checked out at 9am ,my husband got sick and was so uncomfortable and he wanted to go home ,I went to the office and explained the situation and I asked for a refund for 1night ,the lady was very polite but she said she was not able to give as a refund because she was not able to rent our room ,I politely said to her that I don’t understand there’s vacancies but she said unfortunately that the policy but if she would rent the room she would refund the one night, but I know that was not going to happen.

Bed great. Very quiet and small village. Close to the water and to the highway.

An off the beaten path motel, very "at home" feeling. Well maintained, extremely clean, excellent bathroom/shower. Bed was very comfortable, air conditioner worked well, room with quiet. Grounds around the motel were very nice. I would have liked to stay a bit longer

Only complaint was cobwebs/spiders on light fixture outside the motel door... but they are in the country. No other issues as this is a very very nice place to stay.

Always such a comfortable stay. Betty-Ann is always the most friendliest and helpful person. Always making sure her guests are well taken care of.

Quiet place. No interaction with anyone during our one night stay.
