Reviewed Jan 20, 2026The hot springs were amazing! The room itself was pretty nice but nothing special. The real amazing part was the carbonated hot springs, which were so relaxing and just a cool experience. We had such an great time and staff were very helpful.

The communication was very hard even with google translate. The restaurant closes very early ended up buying food from the convenience store. Very hard to get if you don't have your own car. No explanation regarding the etiquette on how to use the hot springs spa facility. It is a separate entitity and hotel gives you access.

Reviewed Oct 25, 2025As many other reviewers point out, the hotel is quite old and the rooms are quite basic. That being said, everything was clean and you can tell this used to be a resort hotel. The surroundings are really fantastic - with direct access to the shortest trail up to the mountain peak. Beware that the hike is ~1300 m of elevation and can take 7 or so hours. It will take a toll on your legs. Going back the hotel, the absolute best thing we took the most advantage of were the baths. The spa facility was really wonderful with different baths and hot springs to choose from. Well worth it for a nature stay with some exercise and some quality relaxing.

Reviewed Oct 24, 2025The mineral baths were fun. Split for men and women, everyone naked, many different baths to choose from and an outside bath. Bedroom views were amazing, comfy beds and room was nice and warm. Breakfast was fine - big variation but quite expensive.

The staff doesn’t speak English and doesn’t assist at all. They say “not possible” on every question (like how to get to the cable car or to other spots, where there are convenient buses, or cabs. The CU store personnel are much more useful). The rooms are basic, no water pressure in the shower (we took shower in the spa).

Reviewed Feb 16, 2025스탠다드룸은 창도 작고 답답할 것 같아 디럭스더블로 했는데 예상보다 훨~씬 컷다. 더블침대가 있는 커다란 거실에, 싱글침대 있는 작은 방이 있고, 옷방도 따로 있었다. 시설이 낡고 복도가 추워 걱정했던 것과는 달리 방은 내내 따뜻했다. C동에 배정 받았는데 본관동보다 뷰가 훨씬 좋았다. 스탠다드룸은 전부 본관에 있으니 뷰를 원하면 가격이 조금 높아도 C동을 선택하길. 1982년 개발된 오색온천은 약알칼리성 용출온천과 지하에서 퍼올린 탄산온천이 있는 복합온천으로 38도의 원천을 그대로 온탕에 사용하고 있어 좋았다. 탄산온천은 22~27도의 냉탕이라 들어가보지는 못했는데 철분이 많이 함유되어 있단다. 히노키욕조의 야외 온천은 전체가 지붕으로 덮여있는 아쉬움이 있다. 온천탕은 인근의 주민들도 애용하고 있어 청결하게 유지되고 있어보였고, 다른 온천에 비해 천정이 높아 답답함이 전혀 없었다. 많이 낡았지만 꾸준히 관리하는 듯 보였고 나름 역사가 있는 곳이라 객실 리모델링을 통해 지속적으로 유지되면 더 좋을듯 하다. 동해안에서 간다면 한계령 쪽 봉우리를 감상하는 즐거움이 있다. 산행 후 하루쯤 묵으며 온천하면 딱 일 듯.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2024대체적으로 만족합니다. 숙박시설이 오래되었지만 유지보수를 잘하고 계신다는 인상을 받았습니다. 평수가 큰룸은 로비에서 룸까지 꽤 멀리 돌아가야하니 길을 잘 외우시는게 좋습니다. 전자렌지는 1층 식당앞에 여러대 있어서 활용했고, 온천과 찜질방도 식구들이 다 즐거웠다고 하네요. 아침에 얼굴에서 광이 나더라구요.ㅎㅎ

Reviewed Oct 2, 2024온천때문인지 투숙객이 많아서인지 프론트의 종업원은 불친절하기 그지 없었다.핸드폰만 보고있다가 친절함,상냥함은 커녕 묻는 말에 응대도 하지않고 설명만 기계처럼 했다.근간에 이런 불친절한 응대는 처음이다.호텔이 낡고 가격대비 내세울 것 없다하더라도 호텔 종업원의 서비스 교육이 제대로 되면 컴플레인을 할 생각은 없었다.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2024The hotel is located in the beautiful Seoraksan Mountain, where the mysterious hot spring water changes color five times a day. The value of this hotel is the hot spring water that rises like gas. That alone makes me want to visit here again next time. The hotel facilities seem to have been repainted, but they still smell, and I don't know much about the service because I didn't receive it, and the staff doesn't seem friendly. If you don't go with special expectations, you can get by just fine.
Greenyard Hotel, which has an excellent hot spring that is hard to find anywhere else, has been renovated and is expected to become a special hotel preferred by people from all over the world who are looking for a mysterious hot spring, with its combination of Korean tradition, convenience, and cost-effectiveness.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2024오색그린야드 호텔 15평 더블베드 룸이었는데 침대가 너무 작아서 두사람이 자기에 불편하고 매트리스 상태도 나빠서 자고나니 허리가 아파 침구세트를 유료로 한세트 받아서 둘쨋날 자고 났더니 침구에 빈대가 있었던지 다리에 수십군데 물려서 며칠 째 너무 가려워 고생중이다. 객실에서 온천탕으로 내려가는 길은 에어컨도 나오지 않아 아주 습하여 곰팡이 냄새가 지독해서 3박 머무는 동안 온천은 한번 밖에 하지 않았다. 룸에 어메니니티가 아무것도 없는데 심지어 옷걸이도 없어서 많이 불편했다.

The main restaurant was closed earlier than we expected, but we'd been caught by Korean earlier eating habits before. So we had the chance to eat at the on site convenience store, which was fun.

Reviewed Feb 7, 2023예전에 한계령 넘어가면서 본 호텔이라 꼭 한번 가보고 싶었어요. 온천이 유명하다고 해서 처음으로 온천여행을 갔습니다. 삼십분 정도 온천탕 이용했는데 세상에.. 평소 일어나던 두드러기 반응이나 알러지가 팔을 긁어도 반응하지 않는거예요. 근처가게에서 막걸리 한 잔을 마셨는데도 피부가 붉어지지 않고 멀쩡했어요. 이래서 온천을 다니는구나.. 싶었어요. 저녁 9시만 넘어도 근처 가게가 다 문을 닫아서 살거 있음 미리 사놓길 바랍니다. 숙소도 깔끔하고 공기도 좋고 직원분들도 친절하고 뷰도 좋고 다 좋았습니다.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2023온천 프론트에서 탕. 찜질방 동선 바닦이 매우 차가움. 숙소 화장실 하수구 냄새가 심함. 간단한 간식류를 프론트에서 판매하는데, 호텔 품격을 저해함, 식당 쪽으로 옮기거나 자판기 설치가 좋을것 같음 오래된 시설 임에도 관리를 잘 하시는 것을 느꼈음.

Reviewed Dec 16, 2022직원들은 친절하였고 탄산온천1회 무료는 매우 만족스러웠습니다만, 찜질방은 너무 허술했고. 평일이라 그런지 불가마도 그럭저럭 다른방들은 아무리 있어도 땀한방울도 안나고 특히 젤 불쾌했던거는 객실안에 있던 전기포트가 너무 더러웠어요. 아침에 커피 한잔 마시거 싶은데 너무 더러워서 사용못함. 중앙난방이라 너무 숨이 막히고 또 새벽에는 난방을 껏는지 너무 추웠음..

This faded beauty was once a modern resort, but she is showing her age. The carpets in the hall haven’t been cleaned since the 1980s.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2022넓긴했는데 가구들도 너무 낡고 더러웠다. 오래된 옷장이나 수납장 뭔가 튀어나올것 같고.. 거실에 있는 비상벨 옆엔 왠 핏자국 같은것이...ㅠㅠ 전반적으로 분위기가 좀 무서워서 방에안들어가고 거실에서 다 같이 잠.

Reviewed Feb 8, 2022설악산 오색코스에 가장 좋은 숙소입니다.~~!! 하지만 ㅠㅠ 오래된건 어쩔 수 없네요 아무리 거실등을 찾아봐도 거실등이 안보여 프론트에 연락했습니다. ㅠ 티비뒤 작은 버튼이 거실등이더라구요 화장실 스위치에 거실등이라고 표시되어 그것만 여러번 눌러봤어요 ㅠㅠ
