The view from the balcony to the beach was lovely Also the back garden had rabbits happily feeding on the grass.

There was nothing to dislike.

This is a sweet place that is deceptive looking from the front.. It is spacious and freshly painted, very clean and had nice things. The bedding was lovely, bed so comfortable and the kitchen had nice pans and kitchen.ware. it was very pleasant, ocean view and a delicious restaurant up the hill in town called Fern and cedar. The best French fries ever and service was wonderful.

Pretty much everything. You open your door and the ocean is right there. Yes, the property is older and we could hear people above us sometimes, but it was clean and comfortable. Kitchenette had everything needed. Honestly, for the price it was perfect. What are you doing in your hotel room with an ocean right out your front door anyway??

Internet was awful. Often could not get online or stream numerous times, stuck with regular TV that did not receive that well, bad cell reception, parking space required backing out into traffic

I loved this property. Very clean and quiet. The room was very spacious and well decorated.

Tolle Lage, kurzer Weg durch den Garten zum Strand. Das Bad war offensichtlich relativ frisch renoviert. Die Straße stört nicht, weil das Schlafzimmer zum Meer geht und die Küche zur Straße hin liegt. Prima Lage für ein paar Tage. Es gibt im Netz sehr schlechte, ältere Bewertungen, die wir nicht bestätigen können. Es war auch nicht verwohnt. Die Küche mag nicht die neueste sein, aber es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht und sauber. Wir hatten Suite 103 und würden jederzeit wieder hier für ein paar Nächte buchen.

Ein kleines, ruhiges und wirklich sehr angenehmes Haus! Die Lage direkt am Strand einfach wunderbar. Wir hatten ein Appartement mit Meerblick. Alles sehr gepflegt. Küche und Bad sehr gut ausgestattet und alles in tadellosen Zustand. Die Lage auch ziemlich optimal, um die Insel von hier aus zu erkunden. Uns hat es hier sehr gefallen. Eine klare Weiterempfehlung!

Beautiful situation, so close to the beach, with chairs and sunbeds on the decking so we could enjoy the wonderful view. Our apartment was well equipped, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We loved our stay at Qualicum Beach - so chilled and we were sorry to leave.

Wonderful location, beautiful view and gardens/terraces. Room very well equipped and extremely clean. Would recommend to anyone looking for a retreat. Will definitely stay again.

The road is pretty busy and difficult to get in/out of the parking lot, but do-able.

Beautiful location, spotlessly clean and well stocked.

Double bed is a little small but easily forgotten as you lay in bed looking at the ocean.

Location is beautiful. The room itself was nice and clean/tidy. Stayed there for 4 nights. Would definitely stay there again. Our door was a little tricky to lock but once you got the hang of it then it was all good. Also, and this has nothing to do with the property but I was having bad cell service which was a bummer but again the hotel itself had nothing to do with that. Just something to keep in mind. My partner however didn’t really have any issues even when he was connected to wifi. So might have just been my phone. We both wish we stayed longer in that hotel cuz it was a great spot!

The resort was small and very peaceful. Lovely outdoor spaces outside of the room balcony and steps to the beach. A gem of a place.

We have returned to Buena Vista many times and enjoy the views, the ocean proximity, and the amenities available.

The view of the ocean was great. We didn’t get a chance to walk this beach but it was definitely accessible. The room was a good size, nice size bathroom, lots of towels, great kitchen, overall very pleased. Location was great too. The owners communicated with us to make sure we knew where to pick up our keys as we were a late arrival. Definitely would stay here again.

Our accommodation was well equipped and we were provided with a good supply of towels. The location - beach frontage, looking across the water, - was nice and quiet, despite being on a fairly busy road. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, and I slept really well here (I'm not normally a good sleeper). There are two places to eat nearby, within walking distance - The Blackbird, just across the road; and the Shady Rest, a pub/restaurant with an outdoor dining area looking across the water. I would recommend first floor accommodation as it has a balcony with table and chairs. We were on the ground floor and didn't have that (though there is a communal decked area with table and chairs), also you won't hear people clomping about above you and moving furniture around.

Accommodation is a bit dated. Tiny tablets of soap for washing (would prefer shower gel), and ultra thin toilet paper. The window blinds let in alot of light so I needed a sleep mask so it wasn't too bright in the morning.

It was he best place we stayed at on Vancouver Island. So serene at the ocean, right in front of our room. We did not want to go to a restaurant; as BBq'ing seafood and steak, and sitting at ocean side for our sunset dinner was the best!!! The room had all we needed in the kitchen; ie, pots, pans, dish rack, detergent, utensils, blender, and more. Wished we could have stayed longer...next time!

Great views. Great hosts, very accommodating. The room was spotless. Quiet, peaceful. The perfect spot to relax and walk the beach.

The aging carpet is in need of replacement. When you walk into the room, you have a nice view to the beach but the carpet is disappointing …

The place itself was great. Cozy, with well equipped kitchen and an amazing view.

The check-out in the morning is at 11AM and when you leave, you are supposed to leave the keys in a box in front of the office. My partner had to leave early in the morning, way before me. I then got a knock on the door at 9:30 - the manager asking if I’m still there. 1 hour later, a cleaning staff unlocked the door as they also thought the suite was empty. While I understand their thinking, it made the morning unnecessarily uncomfortable, and made me feel like I should just pack up and leave despite honouring the check out time and instructions.

Great location, right on the beach a few kilometres from the centre. Handy to have a kitchenette. Good outdoor communal furniture facing the water.

The view from our room was amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the water and spotting seals. Loved walking along the ocean. Enjoyed walking along the ocean and easy waking access to restaurants/pubs.

The bed felt like it was pulling us towards the middle, but otherwise comfy.

The accommodations were spacious and very well maintained. Full kitchen with microwave, coffeemaker and coffee and tea, etc. The place was quiet and the grounds were beautiful with direct access to the seashore. My unit, 104, has a deck with table and chairs. I have already recommended it to friends.

Das Appartement bestand aus einem großen Wohn-/Schlafraum, einer sehr gut ausgestatten Küche als separater Raum und einem großen Bad. Vom Balkon hatten wir direkten Blick zum Meer. Für jedes Appartement gab es einen Parkplatz direkt vor der Eingangstür. Die Mülleimer wurden täglich geleert und neue Handtücher bereitgelegt.Was für ein Appartement doch außergewöhnlich ist. Den Zugang zum Schlüssel und die Rückgabe war einfach und unkompliziert.

Wir haben nichts zu beanstanden.

The property is older but very well maintained. It’s right on the ocean so it can’t get much better than that. Very clean and quiet. If you like having a kitchen, our unit had a full kitchen and was stocked with all the things you need. The owners are on the property and make sure everything is tickety boo.

Cleanliness. Bathroom surfaces were dirty. There was a lipstick stained glass in the kitchen. The bed was fairly clean but the side tables and dining tables were covered in dust. So were the blinds.

-Location -Quiet -Office does respond quickly. Though 1 of the 2 times we called the issue was not fully addressed.

-Terrible wifi -It could use a deep clean. On the surface it was clean, but the bathrooms particularily need a deep clean of window ledges, fixtures, corners ect -It comes with a kitchen, but is very very basic and cooming during your stay isn’t really possible unless you pack cookware.

It is a motel style room with front door onto a busy road. Quite dated but was very clean.

Fantastic view and close proximity to the ocean. Lovely garden with patios and chairs though the weather did not allow for much use of it. We enjoyed walking on the beach and found downtown Qualicum beach beautiful and very convenient. The flat itself was beautifully decorated and well furnished. We would have loved to have stayed longer!

The view was ok but not as good as expected due to narrow view from small balcony from room 101. The kitchen was well equipped, frying pans were in good shape. Full sized fridge. Very clean.

Front desk was not very friendly or accommodating. No chance of early check in and then door locked until exactly 3pm. Parking is almost dangerous since it's right off the main busy road. There is a deck on the lower level that we could see but we were not told how to access. The tiny shampoo envelopes are impossible to open without scissors.

I had a great stay at this resort. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. Suite was very clean and spacious with ocvI'd stay here again
