Wir waren begeistert von der geschmackvollen Einrichtung und dem netten, sympathischen und aufmerksamen Gastgeber. Das Frühstück war super und man hat sich gefühlt wie bei Freunden.

Frühstück war super lecker!!! Und Andrea hat uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und uns tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Essen gegeben. Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt!

Sehr gut. Lage originell. 10 zu Fuss vom Bahnhof. Sehr praktisch! Alle Details in Zimmern und Entrée ausserordentlich sorgfältig, stilsicher und sehr funktional. Italienisch, nicht international 08/15. Schönes Frühstück. Einrichtung der Zimmer lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sehr liebenswürdige, freundliche, herzliche Gastgeber. Klein aber sehr fein!

O hotel fica bem localizado. A hospitalidade de Andrea é excepcional. Dicas fantásticas para aproveitar ao máximo a localidade. Sugestões muito boas para a utilização do Bernina Express: quais a paragens a fazer para explorar melhor os alpes. Pequeno almoço muito saboroso.

The best hotel i have ever been in 🔥

Breakfast was delicious. Freshly bought croissants, cake and ham, cheese and fruit.

Reaching the property without a car was problematic with luggage. The streets in Tirano are cobbled and no good for wheely suitcases. The property itself is up a fairly steep hill, and the main entrance is up 2 precipitous slopes/steps. Once there, the owner pointed out a slightly easier exit and entrance. We took a taxi back to the station..twice the price of taxis in Milan as it appeared to be the only one.

Andrea ist ein perfekter Gastgeber, er gab uns das Gefühl wirklich willkommen zu sein, seine Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft - auch die seines Sohnes Samuel - sind einfach toll! Auch die Betten: Top! Und das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig, zudem fragte Andrea nach, ob wir noch Fleisch möchten; umgehend bekamen wir einen Teller mit Schinken, Bresaola und Rohschinken, einfach köstlich. Zudem haben wir die Ruhe und die tolle Lage genossen, nur 15 Minuten zu Fuss zum Bahnhof, 5 Minuten zur Altstadt mit allen Restaurants. Andrea gab uns eine Liste mit empfehlenswerten Restaurants, diese Empfehlungen waren sehr hilfreich, wir hatten sehr feine Mahlzeiten in der Trattoria Valtelinese, in der Trattoria Gagin sowie im Restaurant Paravicini.

Ausser ein paar verstaubten Zimmerlampen gab es absolut nichts zu bemängeln, alles war tip top sauber und auch sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.

Stunning building with amazing views. Friendly greeting and Andrea was a very informative host. The breakfast selection is fantastic all freshly made. Absolutely loved the different fruit yoghurts, fresh meat/cheese and the pastries were delicious. The location is great and is only a short 10 to 15 minute walk to the train station.

We had the most amazing stay - the hotel was excellent and Andrea and his team were so welcoming and friendly. The hotel was beautiful and in a great location. The room was perfect and the breakfast was first class and set us up for the day. I would highly recommend staying here at any time of the year - we visited in the summer but would love to come back in the winter.

Śniadania są typu włoskiego czyli tylko słodkie produkty. Brak klimatyzacji w pokoju. Łóżko piętrowe mało wygodne i stabilne. Brak parkingu przy hotelu (kawałek dalej). Idąc do hotelu przechodzisz zaraz przy innej, starej chyba spalonej u góry kamienicy.

Es un pequeño hotel gestionado por Andrea, el dueño, con mucho cariño. La atención por el detalle y también la atención personal son de diez. El desayuno es muy generoso y rico, con productos locales y regionales. La ubicación es perfecta tanto para ver el pueblo como para hacer caminatas por los alrededores. Un lugar para apuntar en la agenda de imprescindibles y regresar en cuanto tengamos ocasión.

Familiär, älteste Haus, innen gemütlich und modern. Von der Terrasse kann man nach oben gehen und hat einen Superblick über den Ort. Zur Altstadt und zum Bahnhof ca. 10 min. Auf Wunsch zum Frühstück Käse und Schinken. Andrea spricht deutsch. Sehr nette Familie. Parkplatz ein Stück die Straße hoch im Schatten.

I have traveled a lot in Italy, but had never been in Tirano. It is a lovely, historic town with friendly people and a beautiful view on the Alps. We stayed one night in Ostello del Castello, where we were warmly welcomed by Andrea. They have various rooms of different sizes and with two teenagers and us parents we slept in a spacious room with a nice view on the town. It is walking distance from the train station (regular trains and Bernina express) and also the historic city center is close by. Andrea also made great recommendations for places to eat. Definitely a place to return to.

Really nice place, beautiful restored building with medieval characters. Andrea is the most friendly host you can wish. The Breakfast was luxurious and we could get whatever we wished.

The host was so helpful. The property was a beautiful old house right next to the historic castle ruins. It is peaceful and my children were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was great value.

what a "charming" place to stay. A surprisingly cozy and homely atmosphere. Very peaceful. Comfortable with everything you need and more. The host Andrea needs special mention for his good sense of humor, making you feel at home and special attention he pays to your little needs. Breakfast was quite good too. A+ :)

Liebevoll wurde das Haus renoviert und mit einer persönlichen Note ausgestattet. Mit den vielen Lichtern wurde versucht, die Innenräumen aufzuhellen wo immer möglich.

A very quaint hotel with everything we needed. Andrea our host was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. We slept well and woke up to the birds singing and enjoyed a great breakfast. Would certainly recommend!

For some with mobility, can be a little challenging specially when wet.

We liked everything, literally. From the reception, the beauty of the place, the cozy room, the small details everywhere, the kindness Elisa showed us, the comfort and cleanliness of the bathroom, to the amazing breakfast and goodbye the next day. We loved it all. It would be a pleasure to come back some day.

Breakfast was very good. The host and staff were very friendly and helpful. The outside terrace was well set up and a great place to retreat and have a quiet drink.

It was further away from rail station than we expected and the fact that one of the cut trough alleys was blocked by a crane which didnt look like it was going to move any time soon was not a help.

We stayed at Ostello del Castello during the Olympics, and it was the highlight of our trip. I was traveling with my parents, and having visited over 50 countries and currently working in the hospitality industry myself, I can confidently say this ranks among my very best stays. The location was perfect, the room was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was exceptionally high quality. The property itself is a charming farmhouse, and Andrea was a wonderful host who was warm and welcoming. He shared thoughtful recommendations as we attended the winter events in Livigno, and we truly felt like family during our stay. At checkout, he surprised us with a lovely local bottle of wine, which we enjoyed on our final night back in Milano. We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Only a 1 mile walk from the train station. Staff was very friendly, room was huge and clean. View from the terrace and outside space was amazing! View of the mountains including the Switzerland border.

We had a wonderful stay in Tirano and can highly recommend this place. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Andrea was an amazing host,very friendly, helpful, and made us feel truly welcome. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety and a lovely start to the day. The price-performance ratio is outstanding and definitely exceeded our expectations. We were traveling with our children, and they absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more special for us. We would definitely come back again!

Thank you Andrea for a spectacular stay! We arrived via the Bernina Express with our two teenage boys and easily walked from the train station to the hotel. What history at this charming residence! The views were amazing, the room was wonderful and we felt right at home. From the moment you walk in, you will feel so welcomed and at ease. Very well attended, spotlessly clean, and super friendly people. Tap water tastes incredible - must be the Alps! Another wonderful surprise about the place is how many outdoor spaces they have you can sit and enjoy. We bought some local cheese (Bitto was our favourite!) and prosciutto and had a little picnic while enjoying the sunshine. I can’t recommend this venue enough!

Ottima la colazione e la possibilità di avere anche dolci e pane per i celiaci. La nostra stanza pulita e confortevole e abbiamo apprezzato arredi e rifiniture di tutta la struttura
