I was happy the building is pet friendly, and completely smoke free. Front desk staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. My son loved the pool and waterslide!

Sound travels, so you could easily hear other patrons in the hotel when they were walking/talking in the halls, or coming and going from their rooms. Would of been nicer if breakfast went till 10am. We had some late nights and would have liked to sleep in a bit longer. I didnt like the Dove soap products - for me that cheapened the experience. There are plently of non-toxic brands to choose from nowadays.

The hotel is walking distance to Bonnyville & District Centennial Centre with access to Mary Browns, Tim Hortans and a liquor store also in walking distance. Staff were friendly and on-top of communications to guests regarding pool updates.

I liked the pool for my kiddo.

The only tricky part was that the baby playpen didn’t fit properly between the beds without blocking off air flow.

We had a great stay here with our sports team. Check-in was quick and seamless, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They had Gatorade bottles with each of the players names on them at check-in - this was a cute touch! Breakfast was wonderful addition and having it included made our mornings easier. The pool with waterslide was a lot of fun. Crowded, but the kids had a great time!

Love the location, breakfast, EV charging! Rooms and everything in general is clean and well maintained.

The staff, in particular Evelyn, were very caring, professional and efficient. The hospitality shown me and my family made our stay very special. Having a full hot breakfast each morning was a nice way to start our days. The hotel common areas and rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Great location with lots of parking and no night time noise. Having the pool and water slide made for a great activity for the children.

They had one of the nicest staff that I've come accross. They were very accommodating for our hockey team and my son had a blast in their pool.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel and I can’t say enough about the friendliness of every staff member! The rooms, the hallways and the front entry were immaculate We had great snacks in the lounge area, including a complementary drink, which was something that doesn’t happen so often. The rooms were super clean and beds were very comfortable. Great pool for the kids and adults as well. Checkout was also great accompanied by a bottle of water for the road. Definitely going to stay at this hotel again!

We came to town for a one night family trip. The staff was great. Super friendly and accomodating. We will definitely be back!

When we got to our room we discovered the bathroom light did not work. We contacted the front desk, the woman came to the room and took a picture of the light that was not working. She did not offer us another room, she stated she would let maintenance know in the morning.We had no hand soap near the bathroom sink. When we requested hand soap the woman brought us dish soap to use. The TV had very limited channels. The continental breakfast was less than desirable the scrambled eggs were sitting in water, the sausages were dry.

I was very surprised at winning the guest of the day at the hotel. All the goodies were very appreciated. The kids loved the pool and we found our accommodations excellent!

Downgraded me from a single accessible room to a double queen room instead of upgrading for the same proce, and wanted a steep room deposit like Im looking like a vagrant or something. Asked for my information all over again after I alrwady provided it to Expedia.

Tv should be upgraded so people can use their streaming accounts. Should also ask Expedia to update their suites as it comes with kitchen.

The beds were really comfortable - felt like a princess in it! The staff were very friendly. You can text them if you need anything which is convenient. Breakfast was good too! Sausage, eggs, bagels, waffles, cereal etc.

Amazing stay, they helped make the night of my wedding so memorable

Check in is always present here with the staff at the front always greeting me when I walk in. They always have everything in order for a quick and easy check in. After working 12 hours every day it’s nice to just get the room key and head up stairs. The lounge is also awesome for their guest appreciation nights and the food is really good as well.

Online check in was great. Just grabbed room keys at the front desk. Staff was prompt and friendly. Hotel/room was clean. Comfortable bed. Recently renovated. We stayed on the first floor and there were kids running up and down the hall late at night, but that could happen anywhere - it seemed there was a tournament in town. Would recommend this hotel!

Always happy to come back to the Bonnyville Microtel. Great staff, very welcoming. I travel here frequently and they are always accommodating.

Newer, nice hotel. Would not recommend. Very overpriced, significantly higher than other hotels in the area, only stayed here because of kids sports team booking. Wouldn’t recommend just because of the price, other hotels in the area are very comparable for much less.

Great property and awesome staff! Made our group feel so welcome and really enjoyed the experience. Pool is great, gym is awesome and overall experience was top notch.

Bug in the apple juice. I was told they had an infestation and were trying to get rid of them. Charged a pet fee at check in and charged again at checkout. Asked for an invoice to explain the charges and still haven’t received one. Check your credit card carefully.

Great pool and water slide. Very dissapointed in no hot tub. Nice rooms and great breakfast in the morning. Only thing that really bothered us was the shower water pressure. We could barely get the soap off. Over all good.

We never had housekeeping for the 4 days we were there. When they decided to change our sheets, we were still in bed and they did not knock before entering. We had to ask for towels in the room, and for pool towels. They also do not tell you that they will charge you the pet deposit and incidentals every night you are there. When we asked, they told us it would be reversed on check out. We will find out when that will happen. Overall, we most likely will pay the extra $20 a night to stay at a different hotel.

Overall hotel was clean and comfortable. It was very busy and I think it overwhelmed the breakfast staff. Nice hotel, the town itself was not the nicest.

Room was extremely clean, comfortable bed, awesome linen and pillows. The staff’s friendliness and professionalism was a breath of fresh air they made you feel like you were at home. Every day there was water and homemade cookies at the front desk. Breakfast was also very good. Really there is nothing negative about this place.

I love Microtel’s. The rooms are awesome. Big tv’s and I love the showers.

This was my second stay at this location. Most recently I stayed with my teenage son while attending a hockey camp for the Pontiacs from April 4-7. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great every morning. We had packed food from home to save on $$ eating out while in Bonnyville, but discovered on Saturday mid day that our fridge was not working and all our food was spoiled and some ice cream we purchased had melted. As we passed by the front desk to go get lunch from a restaurant instead of eating our spoiled heat-ups, we let the front desk know. The staff member was very apologetic. When we returned to our room, there was a nice handwritten note from the staff, the fridge was getting cold, and we had free snacks, fresh fruit, bottled waters and a $25 dollar gift card. Excellent response to an event that wasn't really anyone's fault.

Didn't like the bathroom. No counter space, low toilet, unsafe shower, terrible, terrible toilet tissue.

Last minute stay, accommodated myself, 2 kids and 2 dogs. Spacious room, friendly staff, good price! Would definitely stay again :)

Fantastic stay and staff. Would recommend for anyone to stay here. Has everything a person needs close by, little pub downstairs that has amazing food and if want there is McDonald’s, Boston Pizza, Tim Hortons are all within a two minute walk for grub.

I love coming to Wyndham locations specially the Microtel. They always ensure that I have everything I need! I know that I don’t need to hesitate with any assistance I might need. Thank you for always ensuring I have a pleasant stay :)

I have stayed at this hotel many times for work and only have great things to say. The staff are amazing. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and your stay enjoyable. Shout out especially to Michelle, Evelyn and Diane(the breakfast lady) who always go that extra mile! Thank you all.

Staff made the best of four hockey teams staying there. Turned it in to a game and had staff dressed as referees

Overall the price is right for what you get, the pool is extremely small, no hot tub or sauna, rooms were small, cleaning needed some work, as there was body hair in our tub. The staff was not the friendliest and not overly helpful. Other than that it was cheap and kept us warm for the night.

Great place to stay. New building, nice room, spacious parking lot even for trailer, breakfast is ok, but last time it was better. The only issue I have is the shower does not have enough pressure. Will stay there again for sure and hopefully the shower will have more pressure next time.

This is a very clean newer property with very comfortable Beds& pillows. The staff are very friendly & accommodating. Conveniently located near BP’s, Tims, McDonald’s. The hotel was quiet & comfortable.

Room had no heat. Phoned front desk and they said the hotel was full so they wouldn’t move me but someone would be up to fix it. No one came to fix it like they said. Froze all night. Showed the staff pictures of the cleanliness of my room. Want cleaned properly after the last guest. One of bed looked used. Bathroom was dirty with hair in the tub. No response from front desk and no offer to reimburse me. Expedia what will you do about?
