The cot didn’t have the best mattress, the kitchen items were lacking (no teaspoons ). No elevator and no mention there would be stairs to the apartment. Really tricky when you have a baby!

Unfortunately we had and unpleasant experience during check-in. As we arrived to the place we found an email from the owner, telling us we can't check in due to technical problem in the apartment, and we should contact booking to find us a solution. After some phone calls to booking and the owner, the later gave us an appropriate solution - upgraded us to the suite :-)

Location was perfect, dedicated parking on-site, and very clean and tidy!

Easy to park. Door codes sent in advance by email. Lovely spacious apartment. Very clean. Well equipped. Very helpful gentleman when we managed to lock ourselves out!

We anticipated adjacent road noise. Had to cross busy road several times with all our belongings then a number of steps ( also anticipated.) TV didn’t work- “No signal” Apartment appeared quite well equipped but we found most of the pans were aluminium and therefore not suitable for use on the electric hob.

The traffic noise as we were directly on the main road in our apartment Bourton and it was warm so windows open. We live in a quiet area so just not used to it.

We came from all corners of the world to meet in the Cotswolds to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. The Apartments were in an excellent location right in town close to bars, restaurants and shops. They are all tastefully decorated and very spacious. Also it is great that they are dog friendly. À fantastic choice for families wanting their own space but also being together.

With families travelling from all over the world we did communicate our bedding requirements for each apartment far in advance by phone AND by booking.com. We were assured all would be ok and set up for our arrival, however when we arrived no fold away beds or linen was provided. I had to go with the maintenance man to the store room to find beds and linen for all our needs. I did not expect to be making beds on my arrival… In our apartment the dishwasher did not work and after using the washing machine we could not open the door to retrieve the items inside. We could also not find any instructions or manuals on how to use these appliances so were at a loss. In the kitchen there was no dishcloth to wipe sides with, and lack of bin bags for rubbish. The upstairs bedroom duvet needs replacing.. it is extremely lumpy and hot. In other apartments, the ovens were difficult to use due to the dial information having been rubbed off.

We located in stow on the wold. Easy access. Lovely decor. Clean and well equipped. We only spent one night there but it was most pleasant

Such an outstanding place at very affordable rates. We stayed in a 2 bedrooms Apartment I believe Broadway. Probably over 120 square meters. Our dog was getting lost that's how big it was. Very private and peaceful, luxurious and comfortable, very modern, spotlessly cleaned. Refreshments included and 2 bottles of wine. Private carpark included. We came out the apartment and walked for less then one minute to the square/ centre. Excellent communication with Ella the host . Seamless check in via access codes. If you visit Cotswold this is one of the best places I ever stayed.

This was our second visit and we loved this apartment even more. The quality of the furniture and fittings is great, location perfect and it all makes for a seamless stay.

Showers were terrible. Limescale in the shower heads. Marks on furniture, walls. Needs some up keeping. Bedroom located next to main road and guests in the room said it was noisy and loud. I contacted the host to get codes to gain access to be told in a rude tone, I had been sent them but they would send them again and then hung up on me. I double checked all emails, messages and texts and I hadn’t.

This is a nice apartment, centrally located in Stow. The kitchen was well equipped - the small wines, water and coffee provided were nice touches.

Quite a mission to get in initially, but it was comprehensively explained. What bugged us most is the lack of ventilation in the apartment - it was extremely hot with very limited options for ventilation, and road noise a big factor when you open the bedroom window. A portable aircon would have made a great difference.

I booked two apartments a really long time ago, so had assumed that they would give me two next to each other but they were pretty much the two furthest apart ones. There was plenty of availability when I booked, so this could have been done differently. I guess that in hindsight, I should have asked specifically.

Location. Little treats from toiletries to coffees and mini wine in fridge. Welcome after a long day of traveling.

Traffic noise even in the night

Beautiful building, very close walking distance from everything you wish to see. The apartment was spacious and in beautiful condition with everything we needed.

The mattresses in the bedroom with the two single beds were soft and you could feel the springs. We could hear the apartment above walking around and moving things. There was a regular clucking noise coming from the bathroom all night as if the wind was hitting something maybe the exhaust fan? It was a very stormy night.

The apartment was spacious enough to accommodate my family, but cozy as well. The bathrooms were luxurious, the rooms comfortable and the kitchen nicely appointed. The host was very responsive to my needs. We enjoyed walking around the town

The location is great with the town within a short walking distance. It's a great location to be able to travel to the surrounding towns. The parking is a massive bonus as well.

We had the rooms which faced the main road and the windows are a bit thin and so you could hear the cars driving past at night time. It wasn't the worst, but if you're a light sleeper you might be woken up.

Very clean. Beds were super comfortable. Two baths were a plus. Layout was good. We appreciated the coffee/tea bar and cookies and the kitchen area. Loved the heated floors and towel rack in bathroom.

Just a couple of suggestions- It would have been helpful to have someone to talk to upon arrival. We did not hear back when we sent a question. 2 small things- a small shelf in the bathroom would be very helpful- and wash cloths. Also, to let in more natural light in the front bedroom, blinds on the bottom half of the window would allow light without exposing occupants to the traffic who could see inside. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay!

location excellent, minutes walk to center of Stow; very spacious rooms , well kitted out rooms, very spacious underfloor heating worked like a dream .. lovely courtyard - too cold to sit out - would be wonderful in the summer !

- There is a known scam (reported on BBC R4 Your and Yours) where hackers have accessed Booking.com systems; Booking therefore state only to pay via their website or as per instructions on their website in the property information; Unicorn's booking info stated payment would be processed at the property on arrival; I received a message from the property asking for payment before arrival; I thought this was a scam - but was told there are no staff to take payment at the property - this has to be done before arrival; If i did not pay before arrival - i would not receive the entry codes; This was resolved but Unicorn need to amend the booking information to state there is no reception - payment cannot be made at the property; - when we arrived the entry code did not work; had to wait about 45 minutes at around 5pm for somebody to arrive to sort it; he was very helpful but this was not a new problem - it was known about the day before; for the price we are paying i would have expected it to have been resolved by the time we arrived ; - No dishwasher tablets to do the dishes /wash the cutlery - the Apartments are on the main road - on a junction - so early morning rush hour is noisy with revving busses and trucks driving away from the traffic lights ; bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.. and your apartment is by the Junction ; we were in the Bourton apartment ; stairs to the apartment full of bird droppings; - alarm on the lamp came on at 5am - should have been disabled or lamp provided without an alarm .. - apart from sockets in the kitchen area, all other sockets in main living space hidden behind furniture

One of the worst places I have ever stayed. The listing says “No prepayment needed – pay at the property” and also mentions reception/24-hour service, but this is very misleading. After booking, the host pressured me to pay through a third-party payment link and implied that I would not receive access instructions otherwise. I did not feel safe entering my card details through an unknown link, so I paid through the official “Pay Now” button on my Booking.com confirmation page. Even after showing my Booking.com confirmation and credit card statement, the host claimed they had not received the payment and treated me as if I was lying. A professional host would simply say, “I cannot see it on my side, please contact Booking.com,” instead of using accusatory language. I am a Genius Level 3 user and have never experienced such an attitude before. There was no real reception. Check-in was through a long, confusing message. Reaching the room involved several stairs and walking under a very low roof where you have to bend your head. The cleanliness was unacceptable: the bathroom smelled of urine, the floor had urine stains, and there were spider webs on the ceiling. I added photos. The next morning, the shower had only boiling hot water, so it was impossible to use. I had to wash my hair in the kitchen sink. My advice: do not stay here. Read the one-star reviews carefully before booking.

It was beautifully presented and well maintained. Very clean & homly accommodation to stay.

Water has some problem in my room. It was suddenly disconnected when the other room was using it. On the other hand, main room did not have a shower head, just bath & hand wash.

Excellent location, really lovely, clean, comfortable, well decorated apartment. It felt cosy, safe and came well stocked!

Ease of entrance, instructions made it clear.

Soft bed and pillows, tasteful decor and furnishings(apart from the purple cushions and curtains), large rooms, very old character filled building with modern refurbishment, convenient location and parking. Loved the fresh posy of flowers on the kitchen table and body lotion in bathroom.

Purple cushions and curtains seemed at odds with the French provincial style. Some of the fake flower pots also detracted from the otherwise tasteful decor. The main bedroom shower head had very fine patchy water flow

The accommodation was very well located and in a very picturesque township. The apartment was very spacious, clean and well stocked with crockery and utensils. Although I couldn't find a potato peeler so luckily I had taken my own one. The beds were very comfortable. There were welcoming drinks, consisting of two small bottles of wine and a tin of sparkling water, including some milk, coffee, tea and sugar. There was a decent amount of private parking across from the accommodation and the apartment was very quiet and peaceful. It was lovely to look out of the kitchen window in the morning across the rooftops to the church. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay.

There are a lot of stairs to get to the property so it wouldn't be suitable for older people. We had a lot of heavy luggage and it was very hard to carry it up so many flights of stairs with twists and turns so we were all a bit puffed out, but put it down to getting some good exercise :-). There were no wardrobes in either of the bedrooms to hang clothes so we hung a couple of things on the clothes hook on the bedroom door..

Everything was excellent, including the location , facilities, amenities everything. Would definitely recommend .

The only thing which I feel should be improvised is the check in check out time, obviously if someone going till there to stay would demand a longer stay or check in -out time to be reasonable, However we reached early in the morning and the host Ela was very helpful and she allowed us to leave our luggage early and the next day she also insisted us to stay as long as we could, that was very kind of her and I am grateful for that, but looking at the property anyone should obviously get more of the time to stay in the property.

Outstanding place. The host Ela is so welcoming, and the check in access codes were incredibly detailed. Plus you get free private carpark included in the price. The place itself is incredible home from home incredibly specious plus Nespresso machine with pods which was a bonus for us a little bar treat. Can’t praise it enough. Cannot wait to return. Value for money and immaculate.

Stunning apartment right in the heart of it all. Easy walk to so many places to eat and so close to some of the most beautiful villages and walks. The apartment was beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean and having a parking spot made life so easy. Ela was always on hand to help in any way needed but the setup means that you enjoy complete privacy. Can’t recommend it enough

Some of the areas (bathrooms) cleanliness did not warrant a top score. The apartment was adjacent to the main A road and the retro-fitted double glazing did not adequately counter the traffic noise. Small thing - but to make the kettle work, we had to weight down the 'on' switch with a plate! Not accessible to persons with limited mobility, due to stairs, including steep external stairway.

The location and parking were pluses.

It is a modern new build. Open floor plan. Very large. Florescent lighting. Sparse furniture and decor. No front desk.

The location of the property is fantastic. It’s a very comfortable apartment, spacious and clean. Having free car parking just across the road was a welcome bonus.

We stayed in the Bourton apartment. Just a heads up for those with babies and pushchairs, it was extremely challenging navigating the steps upto the apartment.

Lovely modern apartment with great location to local shops and pubs. We stayed only one night but the apartment would be suitable for longer stays as well. Spacious kitchen & dinning area with separate bathrooms for each room was bonus.

Not only was the apartment well equipped, well furnished and well finished it can with car parking as well. Given how busy it is in Stow having this option removed all the stress of finding somewhere to park the car.

The apartment is excellently designed and outfitted with best in class equipment and facilities. The host was very responsive. Even at after office hours. The apartment we stayed in was very airy with good amount of natural light coming in.

Great property and lots of space for a two bedroom option. Lots of amenities close by for any provisions but the space is well equipped.

We arrived and it was like a sauna unfortunately- we had to throw the windows wide open and had an uncomfortable night’s sleep. If you are noise sensitive, this may not be the best accommodation as you can hear the footsteps of visitors in the accommodation above. We were woken a couple of times during the night as a result of this but recognise this is likely due to the age of the property.

We love this place and the town of Stow; we have stayed here for 2 years in a row and would return in a heartbeat. The apartments are big and dog-friendly, the kitchen is perfect, and the sofa area is amazing. Definitely would love to go back.

Location was great, the town itself is beautiful. Having a designated car park was a god send as it was so busy everywhere.

People in neighbouring apartments were very noisy, they were not noisy late into the night but shouting, singing, dancing etc. I think the apartment inbetween us also had a child so they must have found it worse than we did. Only other thing my partner and I commented on was that the apartment didn't feel very homely, it lacked some soft furnishings to make it feel more like a Cotswold's stay.

What a marvellous stay. We attended a 60th's birthday celebration. All the apartments have been booked by the family and friends. They are absolutely stunning and very suitable and specious for the event. Our Apartment had very comfortable beds and sofa, with walking showers. Underfloor heating was a bonus. Our dog was also allowed to stay which was fantastic. Spotlessly clean, luxurious facilities which exceeded our expectation. Staff was very attentive, welcoming and professional. Value for money. We looking forward to return next year.

Few lads for best mate wedding. Really lash apartment so much space for us to celebrate, Lovely decor and beautifully furnished very modern. Great costumer service, comfortable beds. We were vaping on the corridor and triggered the fire alarm. We seen this fit girl with long blond hair walking to us thinking she was part of the weeding but she came to tell us off. We felt like school boys. We did apologized and she was fine. We later laughed about it and had an awesome time. Highly recommended. Definitely returning.
