We enjoyed a comfortable and restful stay. The hotel is in a brilliant location, close to the old town and with a lovely historic square in front where they are good places to eat. The hotel has a calm and peaceful atmosphere no doubt due to its monastic history. The room was spacious and the twin beds were very comfortable. There was a bath and very hot water available. We arrived a bit early but the hotel kindly allowed us to check in early as the room was ready before our formal check-in time.

Except for the empty but working fridge, there was little in the room in terms of facilities given the price - no safe, hairdryer, kettle for drinks, or free bottled water (in the fridge). The bathroom was a bit tired and worn, especially around the bath. We were not able to black-out the light coming in from the square outside using the curtains provided. However we still had a good night’s sleep.

En recepción hay un cartel en el que pone que no se hacen responsables de los robos en las habitaciones, nos pareció bastante mal.

It was in a wonderful location looking over a plaza in the old town. The room was large and comfortable. Receptionist was kind and welcoming.

A very loud noise,which went on for 10 minutes at 8am,right by our bedroom. No idea what it was. Breakfast was limited,to cold things, nothing hot.They ran out of coffee.

Locatie midden in de stad met parkeerplaats maar uit de drukte aan een verstild plein , aardig personeel en ruime en schone kamers.

Maar het hotel is erg lawaaierig ( slaande deuren , schuivende meubels ) en de kamers zijn erg , erg gehorig, douche & wc je hoort alles van de kamers om je heen. Erg Jammer.

The hotel is centrally located and situated on a very pleasant Plaza, close to the Barrio Humedo. The rooms are very clean, spacious and light and almost all of them look out onto the lovely Plaza del Grano.

We were very disappointed in the breakfast and thought it poor value for money. Fortunately, we had only booked in for one of our three mornings and found much better options eating in nearby cafes. The hotel has tiled floors and marble surfaces throughout. The absence of soft furnishings, rugs etc means lighter sleepers can be easily disturbed by those in neighbouring rooms and bathrooms.

Great staff that were very friendly but also went out of their way to allow me to check in early. Great location on the Camino, also very close to laundry. Breakfast was great but did not get s chance to fully appreciate as i need to get going on the hike.

Het ligt in het historische centrum aan een gezellig plein. Fijne parkeerplaats bij het hotel. Kamers zijn groot.

Het blijft tot laat rumoerig op het plein als de terrassen vol zitten. De spanjaarden eten pas laat. Ramen isoleren goed en houden het geluid buiten, maar dan moet als het warm is wel de airco aan.

A little tricky to find due inside old Town

De ligging van het hotel is werkelijk perfect. Midden in het centrum van Leon en hebben priveparkeerplaatsen. Kamers zijn erg ruim en er is een beveiligde fietsenstalling. Hotel ligt aan plein met 2 restaurants en een bar, heerlijk om 's-avonds nog een laatste drankje te doen. Behalve pelgrims onderweg naar Santiago de Compostela weinig buitenlandse toeristen (zo lijkt). We waren ook op zaterdagavond hier en hoeveel bars en restaurants er in het centrum zijn en hoeveel mensen dit trekt, ongekend. Hele leuke sfeer, samen met Pontevedra onze leukste bestemmingen deze vakantie. In de omgeving is Astorga wel een leuke plaats om een paar uur te bezoeken. Vlak bij Astorga ligt Castrillo de los Polvazares. uitgeroepen tot historisch erfgoed.

De locatie was ideaal, midden in het historisch centrum. Je kunt niet zomaar het oude centrum inrijden met de auto, maar als bewoner of hotelgast ben je een uitzondering. Ook parkeergelegenheid aanwezig bij het hotel (wel betaald en best aan de prijs)

De deuren van de hotelkamers vallen automtisch met een klap dicht. Dus wanneer andere gasten vroeg vertrekken, schrokken we steeds wakker van enorme knallen van de deuren. Dit kan anders.

Mooie ligging van het hotel aan de rand van het historisch centrum met eigen parkeerplaats. Grote schone kamer.

Erg gehorig als de schoonmakers ‘s-morgens vroeg beginnen.

Super vriendelijke en behulpzame dame aan het onthaal die ons onmiddellijk informeerde over alle bezienswaardigheden. Het ontbijt was goed en ok.

Enige nadeel aan het hotel is dat we niet onmiddellijk in de buurt gratis konden parkeren. Wij hebben ongeveer 1,5 km met onze valies gestapt wat op zich wel te doen was. Hotel is proper, degelijk en vooral op wandelafstand gelegen van de bezienswaardigheden. Aanrader, zeker omwille van de supertoffe dame aan het onthaal!

Tras una fachada de un antiguo colegio, se encuentra un hotel super moderno y confortable. Todo esta impecable y me toco una vista esplendida a la Plaza del grano o Plaza Santa Maria.

We kwamen tegen half 10 in de avond aan. De ontvangst was super. Wat een vriendelijke receptioniste. Ze kwam uit Iran en verdient een pluim. Wat een enthousiaste dame. Kamer was prachtig. Mooi uitzicht, heerlijke bedden en een mooie badkamer.

L’accès à l’hôtel en voiture est très compliqué, du fait des zones piétonnes, des restrictions d’accès etc. Le GPS est dépassé. Nous aurions semble t’il dû recevoir un e-mail avec des indications d’accès, mais nous n’avons rien reçu. Heureusement la réceptionniste nous a guidés par téléphone. A part cette difficulté, tout est correct

Estaba situado en un sitio muy céntrico y muy tranquilo. En la recepción muy amables. No se puede pedir más.

Lo más destacable es su perfecta ubicación en pleno casco antiguo, junto a la Plaza del Grano y su característico empedrado del León medieval. A unos minutos a pie del Barrio Húmedo y de la catedral. La parte negativa es el acceso a este centro histórico en coche por la restricciones. Recomendable reservar el parking del hotel que está muy cerca para evitar complicaciones. La habitación amplia, limpia, confortable y tranquila. Aparte del desayuno, ofrecen menú de mediodía con buena relación calidad-precio. El personal muy amable, atento y profesional y con buena disposición a orientar y aconsejar para tu visita a la ciudad.

Está adaptado para silla de ruedas minimamente. Esto quiere decir que yendo en silla 1 hay que entrar (y salir) por donde entran los coches y luego encontrar el camino (una vez lo encontré era bonito y agradable) hasta llegar al restaurante que estaba en la planta-1, luego ya subir en ascensor a recepción en la planta 0 2 la habitación y el baño son amplios pero la ducha no tiene por donde cogerla... - literalmente no hay ningún agarre ni dentro ni cerca, - la ducha está cerrada por mamparas y una puerta que es imposible abrir desde la silla - tienen una silla de ducha que hay que solicitar, aunque nadie te la ofrece si no la solicitas antes - la silla de ducha es una silla de ruedas que se puede mojar, con la base abierta para poder lavarse... todo eso está muy bien, pero la silla no cabe en el plato de ducha, es imposible cerrar la puerta cuando estás dentro encima de la silla - y por supuesto la silla tiene que moverla siempre otra persona, es imposible que la persona que va en silla se cambie de silla y se mueva de forma autónoma. Obviamente con ayuda de otra persona todo es posible. Yo necesito la silla de ruedas, pero todavía soy autónoma en muchos baños, ha sido la primera vez que no me he podido dar una ducha sola

Muy buena situación del centro, aunque el acceso en coche es un poco lioso. Igualmente el alojamiento proporciona unas indicaciones muy claras. Las habitaciones amplias con unas ventanas que miran a la plaza del Grano, precioso. Personal de recepción muy amable.

El parking aunque cercano es muy caro para las condiciones pero es cómodo para acceder al hotel con maletas.

This was an ideal place for our one night stay in Leon. The instructions on how to get inside the walls with a car were clear and essential.

The hotel is in a wonderful location - it overlooks a plaza in the old town, but is also peaceful. The parking is located with easy access to the hotel. The room was quiet and well equipped as described. The air conditioning was quiet. Breakfast was ample and adequate - a simple continental breakfast. We were in easy access of some very good local restaurants. The people of Leon were very welcoming.

Breakfast was not as good as at some of the 2 star hotels we had stayed in on our trip around northern Spain. The bed was quite hard, but that's just a preference.

The position, very large rooms ? the staff , the reception staff were the friendliest that we have come across, and the lady who cleaned our room was lovely and spoke to us every day , our room was spotless all the time that we were there .

The walls were thin and we had a very noisy family next to us , the children shouting and screaming and banging doors

The hotel was just a few minutes walk from the centre of Leon, and looked out onto a lovely square that had a few cafes and bars. The parking was a big bonus, although limited spaces, but we didn't have an issue getting a space in August. The room was one of the biggest double rooms we've stayed in, with comfy bed and large en suite. We didn't eat in the hotel but there was a restaurant.

The breakdast was very limited with no hot options. The rooms didn't seem to have any sound proofing, as other people's tvs and even showers were extremely loud, but it was quiet at night when everyone had settled down so this didn't affect our sleep.

Great location within the city walls and convenient to walk to the Cathedral etc. Clean with very helpful staff.
