Travellers Inn

The room was not thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis. There some surfaces were tacky from long term dust accumulation. The towels were likely white at some point, but now grey and rough.

The bed was comfortable.

The bathroom was dirty. Walls and door and floor was so dirty.

Perfect location for the races.

Newly renovated, but uneven. Some brand new stuff, some rusty old stuff.

I didn't get in a room.

This particular room clearly has seen much better days. Wads of rolled up paper filling holes where a towel bar once was. Bathroom ceiling had paint peeling and visible mold. This motel rents long term rooms as low cost living accommodations. It definitely has some sketchy individuals living in some of the back rooms on the opposite side of the office facing Food Basics.

Easy to get to and the parking outside the entrance to the room was great.

It could use a bit of an upgrade and some maintenance, like the tub had a big splashing stain in it, the towel holder was really loose, and the bathroom tap had a slight leak.

the TV didn't work right had to fight with the cables to get it to work. then I turned it off to go to sleep and it didn't work after that. but I was ok with that since I also had my tablet

Floor was not clean, gritty sand on it. No hair dryer in the room, had to ask for one! No breakfast offered.

Very friendly staff was upgraded from a King to a King suite no charge and without even asking. Room was clean

Mat at front entrance was too small so socks got wet from wet floor from snow. Very little space for toiletries in bathroom. Need a mirror in main area. Only mirror was in the bathroom which makes it hard for more than one person to get ready. Snack and drink machines were broken so I had to go out to get food and drinks.

It was right across from the event centre and beside a grocery store and strip mall to allow for convenient purchases and meals

There were no interior locks on the doors for added security while inside the room and there were 2 doors in the room have not stayed in a room where the door latches were not installed for a sense of personal security durning a stay My child also left behind 2 special night lights which was our bad for not checking before we left the room it was an early departure and we were in a hurry we called them later that night 8pm to inquire if we could get them back i was willing to drive for them they said the look and call us back they took my phone nimber down to do so but never heard back saying they had the lights

The location was ideal! It exceeded my expectation being a motel hotel Very clean inside warm rooms and parking right in front of the door! Across from race tracks and right beside Tim Horton! Didn't deal with any noise as I had my child with me and was comfortable Thank you

Breakfast was not included. Left way too early for that. I had indicated that I was travelling with my dog on my reservation and I was charged more for my stay when the desk attendant found out I had a dog with me. It was not indicated on his reservation. Not impressed. My room cost went from $111 to $140.

The toilet seat was loose. I had to ask for a desk chair.

Was offered an upgrade to a suite. Check in was very pleasant. Parking at door. Each room had individual thermostats for baseboard heating. King bed was comfortable. Suite was very spacious and clean. Good sized fridge with microwave and wash basin in kitchenette which was located in bedroom area. Sitting room was large with bigger screen tv, pullout sofa and 2 tub chairs, door to outdoor parking plus door to interior hallway, office and vending machines. Full bath off sitting room. Room 26. Great location. Close to downtown. Tim Hortons and some shopping next door. Across the street from race track and casino with a great restaurant.

Small coffee maker with only 2 paper cups and only 2 coffee servings. No teabags, Bring your own supplies. TV/cable instructions with tv guide located in bedside table instead of living room. Motel is older, not luxurious but very comfortable, clean and good value.

I check in at 9pm and I had to check out 11am next day

There was nothing appealing about this facility.

Very tiny room. Pictures on internet misleading. Bathroom was not clean. Hair on the floor and sink. Heating unit very loud. Cold floors. Dresser had old napkins coffee packets eating utensils etc from previous travellers. Phone was dirty and old. Toilet seat slid off toilet when sitting. There was no defining line between hotel parking lot and street. Found ouselves driving twords a road sign which appeared to be on the street but was in the parking lot. Poorly lit.

This is the second time staying there and again they did NOT disappoint! The location is close to an amazing restaurant The Match and Casino, dollarama food basics and much more 5 min walk to downtown core!

DISGUSTING. UNBELIEVABLE. DEPLORABLE. These are but a plethora of adjectives I can use to describe it. Filthy, smoke alarm no battery, hair in bathtub, facets grimy, everything dusty, towel rack gone, glass shelf fallen down. Reception area unpresentable. Staff lady nice, manager lacking in customer service and personal presentation. Price OUTRAGEOUS!!!!! Getting refunded.

Avoid at all cost! There were bed bugs and we unfortunately brought one home and now we are spending hundreds of dollars trying to get rid of them. We stayed on the side facing away from Tim’s and Food Basic. We’ve reached out to the management asking for a refund but no response. It’s filthy, there is no upkeep, and you will waste your money staying here.

The Inn was clean, the bedding was new and clean. The area felt unsafe.

We stayed on this property as part of a road trip and it was super conveniently along our route and in a pretty quiet area. We also called and the gentleman also let us check in really late so we appreciated that a lot.

A lot of guests appear to use it as temporary housing and set themselves up as a group outside of several rooms with shirtless, drunk, high, and loud people as long as I saw them.

Room was clean front staff was very friendly. Room 2 however you can hear everything happening in the office area. I would stay again just not a room so close to the office.

The hotel was good for the price in the area. The room was clean, there was no bad smell, and overall it was a pleasant stay.

when we booked, it was clearly stated that children could stay for free. I entered my son’s age (7 years old) in the reservation, but at check-in we discovered that the hotel did not provide any bed or mattress for him. If he were a baby, it would be understandable, but for a 7-year-old it is very difficult to share one bed between three people. We even had to buy an air mattress so he could sleep properly. At first, there were also no extra pillow, bedding, or towels for him, but after I went to the reception, the staff provided those, which we appreciated. Still, it would have been much better if this information had been clear during the booking process.

We loved the property's location, with a grocery store, Tim Hortons, and restaurants nearby. However, we noticed a few areas for improvement: no complimentary amenities like ice cubes or water, stained sheets, and pet hair in the bed. The towels were also quite worn out. Overall, the location was great, but a few tweaks would make it even better.

Possible bedbugs, mold everywhere, very old and stained bed, hole in the walls, curtains that cover half the window, filthy floor, silverfish under the desk, dust ++ under the bed, filthy sink and shower. Horrible, never go to this motel. Images contradict reality. Very expensive (150$ night). This motel should not be legally open -- -- -- Possibilité de punaises de lit, moisissures partout, lit très vieux et tâché, trou dans les murs, rideaux qui fait la moitié de la fenêtre, planché crasseux, des poissons d'argent silverfish sous le bureau, poussière ++ sous le lit, lavabo et douche crasseux. Not very clean! The bed felt like it was going to fall apart at any moment. Towels ranged from gray to white. Freezer in refrigerator was so full of ice you could not use it. I was not expecting perfection......but we stayed in alot of rooms on this vacation for less money and far superior!!

The tub was extremely slippery and we all almost fell in it a few times. Not really well light there could be better lighting options for the room.

It's an old motel. There were towels with stains on them.

Needs some upgrades

The property could use a good sweeping outside room doors. There was a dead rat on the paved cut through to go to stores. Extra toiletries would of been nice , kleenex, toilet paper and bags for garbage containers. Maybe a map for the area , or a listing of places for take out. When we got there to register they automatically assumed to pay the other half on my credit card without asking , as my Sister was going to pay it. Beds comfortable and clean , night time was quiet and people were very friendly.

Lovely spot for a night stay. Rooms were very quiet & beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Our bathroom did have some water damage on the ceiling and holes in the wall from what I can assume was a towel bar, and the floors were a bit dirty, but overall, we had a great night stay.

The location for me was excellent for the purpose of why I came to Hanover. The motel staff, Erin, was friendly, and very accommodating, agreeing to delay my check out time 1 hour. The room and AC were comfortable. I enjoyed my experience at this site.

The small fridge had a large built up of ice in the freezer section.

Good inexpensive place to stay if you just need the basics. Staff were very nice.
