Pyeongchang Edelweiss Pension

Apartamento perfecto, con jardín y una terraza increíble. A solo 3 minutos de muchos restaurantes y, sobre todo, unos anfitriones de 12/10. Nos quedamos sin coche de alquiler y ellos nos solucionaron todos los problemas. ¡Mil gracias por todo! ¡Volveremos seguro!

좋은 위치에서 깔끔하고 심플하게 잘 쉬었습니다. 무엇보다 가려는 관광지들에서 거리가 다 가까워요. 바베큐장에 불끄고 나가는걸 잊어서 헐레벌떡 돌아왔더니 정리해주셨더라구요. 죄송하고 감사합니다. ^^; 난방도 따끈따끈하고 물도 뜨끈뜨끈하고~ 다음에도 기회가 되면 또 갈게요.

별로 없어요. 호캉스나 편의 시설이 많은 리조트를 기대하고 간것이 아니니까 정말 알맞았습니다. 깔끔하지만 약간의 낡음(?)은 어쩔수 없다고 생각해요. 낭만있어요.

Host pick n drop us off at bus terminal.They were very kind to book n paid for our bus tickets in advance.A supermarket closeby

The room was not what we paid for.We were sopposed to get 2 futons n i double bed instead we got 2 queen beds but they were nice to provide extra futon..wld hv prefer bath towels instead of facewash towels but i think its a Korean thing.Just to be aware no cooking meat allow which was fine as i only cook breadfast.

-Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Gastgeberpaar -Geschmackvoll und hübsch eingerichtete Wohnung, alles war sauber und gepflegt -Ruhige Wohnlage mit vielen Restaurants und einem großen Supermarkt in der Nähe -Zu Fuß vom Busbahnhof Hoenggye in etwa 15 min erreichbar -Meine Gastgeber haben mich am Abreisetag mit dem Auto zum Busbahnhof gebracht. ☺️

Nothing all good

The staff helped us with all our needs. They provided lifts to ski shops (I recommend SKY SKI in the area (they can give a 35% discount)), bank, bus stops etc. There was very clean and cozy. They have a small kitchen in the room - you can cook or warm up your food. It was very warm in the room, but outside it was -20. Also they helped us to figure out how it works in YongPyong - you can leave your snowboard in the coin locker for night and your stuff in the locker. Also there is a free shuttle bus from the city to YongPyong almost every hour. Nearby in the city there is a big supermarket. For sauna you can use YongPyong or Ramada ones (same price)) The village outside the pension is nice. We loved to stay there for 5 days and we totally recommend it.

Owner is very responsive, helpful and easy to deal with! Lovely heated floors for the super chilly winter weather!

The room was clean, comfortable, and beautiful, in a short, a cozy room. The flowers and trees in the garden were lovely, and it was great for a slow walk nearby. Before leaving, thanked the host for giving my son a gift and helping us find a lost transportation card.

the kitchen is setting up for non-oil food. this, It is hard to fry an egg with a fry. maybe somebody would like to know it.

Everything! Lovely cosy place. Nothing to complain. We truly enjoyed our stay. Should have booked longer lol. Communication with the host was fast and easy. Just excellent! Highly recommended.

Maybe the shower too small

I like the almost everything about the house. Cute interior and love the beautiful surrounding. Near to the ski resort it is so beautiful during winter. Kids love this place. Owner is friendly and prompt response to all our enquiries. Will definitely stay here again if I come to Daegwallyeong.

Location was excellent - very easy to access YongPyong ski resort. The lady who owns / runs the property was also extremely kind and very helpful.

I am not used to wet bathrooms. I found the shower/ toilet situation very challenging as water got everywhere and the wall paint would peel off. Some people may be ok with this, but I really struggled.

The place is so aesthetic and comfortable. Feels homey.

Location was great for the shuttle to YongPyong Resort. The owners were lovely and very helpful!

Some loud other guests noisy until 4am

the stay is beautiful. and the staff is husband and wife. no issue checking in and out and the couple is nice enough to drive us to alpensia to catch our bus to city due to lack of maxi cab. they are very caring toward me and my toddler girl. To alpensia is easy cab is about 10mins drive away and location you can get food and supermarket is within walking distance.

Owners were very very helpful and accommodating including the ski shop they recommended

The room was so cozy and warm (which I was worried about in the winter!). Looks as described (if not better). Only a few rooms in the place so it's nice and quiet. The host added me on WhatsApp so we could easily communicate and she gave great recommendations for ski hire! We also drove and the parking is off-road and on the property. No issues with the roads being icy.

Comfortable bed, hot water in shower, nice space in room.

It would be better if there is humidifier in room. Air is too dry in winter if the heater is on.

The host is very friendly and helpful. Helping to drive us to nearby Ski rental for renting which is cheaper compare to Ski resort itself. The host response to our queries is fast as well. They do speak English but would be better to text. The place is comfortable and nice. I went in winter and would be another feel and look in summer.

Spacious room with cooking utensils (no condiments), heated flooring

Need a taxi to go Yongpyeong (krw 10500), bathroom floor very cold, clothes rail with 4 hangers quite high up, no clothes hooks, need to carry luggage up the stairs

The location is very good as it is very close to the bus stop to the ski resort which was where we were going. It is a completely separate unit. There was a full working kitchen with everything you need even forks and knifes in case you are not comfortable using chopsticks. Bathroom had amazing quality toiletries and japanese toilet. The beds were comfortable, the terrace very nice and the heating was great.

It was not very easy to reach at night from the train station but this depends where you are coming from.

Everything was great and staff very accommodating with our requests.

Everything, such a cute place to stay, close to convenience store and restaurants and staff very helpful.

시설이나 분위기 청결함 너무 좋았습니다

주인도없는상태로 전화해서 빈집에 입실했고, 물한병이 없었고, 방은 온도조절이 안되어서 덥고 잠을 못잤고요. 옹색하고 시설이 별로었지요.

숙소 깔끔하고 예뻐요. 사장님 친절하시구요. 내집처럼 편안하게 쉬었어요. 다음에 대관령쪽 여행가면 또 가고 싶어요.

We had a great stay here. It is extremely close to everything and the owner is very nice. It was nice to have a small kitchen.

我們一家已經第三次入住了，老闆和老闆娘和靄可親，房間乾淨舒適，各樣都保養得很好。房子距離市區和滑雪場都很近，我們是自駕遊，但是如果你不是自駕，老闆都可以安排接送，所以是非常值得入住。

Perfect host and accomodation. I cannot find any flaw to comment on. It is the most beautiful house in the little peaceful town. Great restaurants, convenient shops, ski shops and cafe nearby. Love the peace and quiet, reminds me of houses in Wales. Host is friendly, fast in responding via watsapp. The couple drives us to and fro ski resort regardless of time. Really appreciate them. 5-star service. There was no snow on the first day of our stay but next morning we woke up to a magical winter wonderland.

Pension owner couple is so nice to drive us from/to Alpensia Resort every day. Although they cannot speak much English, we still can communicate via technology- what’s App/ google translate! Very nice staying in Edelweiss Pension

Clean, convenient to Pyeongchang venues. Needed GPS to find it the first time.

I stayed here based on a recommendation from my tour agent since it's nearby the ski resort. I wanted an apartment style hotel at the resort however, most of them are full when I tried booking 2-3 months before my trip. The available ones are very expensive already. Pension is basically like a studio apartment where you have a heated floor apartment, a small kitchen, a 2 door fridge, microwave, bathroom with washing machine. There's a king-size bed, and blankets and thicker one for sleeping on the floor (Ondol). It's good if you want to experience local-like sleeping arrangement, but do note that the floor is quite warm! We did open the door a bit to adjust the temperature inside the room. Wasn't really used to sleeping on the floor so was a bit uncomfortable. My parents who're on the bed did sleep okay.

My wife and I and two children stayed for 2 nights in this B&B. It is a standalone room with 2 queen sized bed, attached bathroom and a full kitchen. The house and the room are beautiful. The owner is a very kind person. We requsted to use the washing machine in another room but she offered to help us with laundry instead. This lovely place is highly recommended.
