We stayed at the Banyan Tree for 5 nights and after a rocky start, we were really happy with the way the management sorted the issues out so promptly. Our daughter has a gluten allergy and every day the chef will make several snacks, cakes and dessert that she could eat. The breakfast team are fabulous and really looked after us every morning with Ayoub , Mouna and the manager, madame Rochiole having our food all ready. Thank you so much . You are all a great asset to the hotel. Also thanks to Oosamma )guest relations manager)for sorting out all our issues . We hope to see you all soon.

From the very first morning, the staff went out of their way to make our family feel welcome, attending to us with genuine warmth and diligence every single day. I’d also like to thank the spa team for a truly wonderful experience. The staff there were equally warm, professional and attentive. Nizar and Meary made it a real highlight of our stay. The service was excellent, and everything was very good. We stayed in Room 208, where our housekeeper, Sanaa, took exceptional care of us. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly. We truly appreciated her outstanding service.

Totally bad experience. Paid a bomb for a villa with pool and garden. Whole room was infested with black ants, customer service was horrible with long wait times. Wouldn’t recommend anyone.

We had to wait too long around the tje pool to be servesamd i tjink it is not good for business because people want to drink. I suggest you give a calling button to each customer coming to seat bedodebthe swimming pool. Otherwise eveything was perfect

My stay at Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay was truly exceptional. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered complete privacy. The resort grounds are immaculate, the beach is stunning, and the atmosphere is peaceful and luxurious. What impressed me the most was the outstanding level of service from every member of the staff. A special thank you goes to the housekeeping team for their professionalism and attention to detail. I would especially like to recognize Mrs. Akhannas, whose kindness, dedication, and impeccable work made my stay even more comfortable and memorable. Her efforts did not go unnoticed and are greatly appreciated.

Honestly, very little. If I had to mention something, it would be that one night was simply not enough to fully enjoy everything the resort has to offer. The experience exceeded my expectations.

Apparently, this is how they define 'fully operational'. Would suggest, like other 5-star resorts, they do not open until end of May - early June.

Ce séjour a été exceptionnel à l'image des souvenirs heureux que je garde du précédent. Je ne peux que recommander cet havre de paix où l'on se sent comme chez soi. Ce n'est pas juste la vue a couper le souffle, ni les gouts uniques des bons plats concoctés soigneusement, ou encore, l'architecture grandiose. C'est ce qu'on retrouve rarement, la chaleur humaine, l'hospitalité marocaine la vraie, les petites questions pour s'assurer que tout se passe bien, la femme de chambre qui prend soin de mettre un tapis de prière a votre chevet quand elle constate qu'on prie sur une serviette, les belles âmes qui chantent un joyeux anniversaire a ma fille et a sa poupée, qui raccompagnent une maman solo jusqu'au portail en clubcar pour ne pas attraper soleil... Un simple MERCI ne suffirait pas, mais voila quand meme MERCI.

Everything from accommodation to service to hospitality from where I should start the check in oussama was so helpful in a very exceptional welcoming way then to Ayoub who helped install the additional bed we needed and made sure we have everything we need in the villa, AH Naima who made sure our villa remained clean and neat to hamza who was in the beach restaurant made sure we have not any dish but perfect yummy dishes on the same spot Saeed who was very helpful with us ensuring we have the perfect vibes, on the Thai restaurant ouadie who recommended dishes and every dish was indescribable to an extent we went 2 nights in a row and what i can't forget at all in the breakfast service mohamed who made sure my husband gets everything he wanted even if it wasn't in the buffet I can't thank those people ad they made our stay indescribable loved every second of it and wish I can stay longer but definitely coming back

I would like to thank Fatimazahrae from housekeeping for taking care of our villa and making sure that everything was spotless. The staff at the hotel is very nice and accommodating. This was the most relaxing and wonderful holiday I’ve been on in quite some time. The villas are incredible and the staff are wonderful, especially the lovely Fatima Zahrae. I can’t wait to return!

L'architecture de l'hôtel est très joli, les chambres très grandes, le personnel très serviable, le petit déjeuner très bon et l'emplacement en bord de mer était très appréciable quand il fait beau.

Concernnat le tarif, il y a eu une erreur de tarif et aucune solution ne m'a été proposée. J'avais réservé pour 4 adultes et 1 enfant, et j'ai reçu une confirmation pour 4 adultes seulement. J'ignore s'il s'agit d'un erreur de booking ou de l'hôtel mais ce dernier n'a fait aucun effort pour m'aider face à ce litige. Concernnat les équipements, dans la description il est écrit 2 piscines (1 extérieur et 1 intérieur chauffée) et un terrain de tennis et de paddle. La piscine intérieure est celle du SPA pour laquelle il faut débourser 60euros de l'heure. Et concernant le terrain de tennis, il n'y a aucune raquette à disposition sauf à réserver un coach en supplément. Un membre du personnel de l'hotel nous a gentiment prêté ses propres raquettes ! Enfin, lorsque l'hôtel nous réserves un taxi, les tarifs sont extrêment élevés. J'ai eu l'impression d'être un portefeuille ambulant. Concernant le service, le personnel est aux petits soins mais certains doivent être mieux formés notamment le personnel de nuit. J'ai oublié ma clé et j'ai dû appeler 4 fois et attendre 30 mn dehors avant que quelqu'un m'apporte une clé (la réception étant loin de la chambre). Un soir, il y a eu une fuite dans ma salle de bain. J'ai appelé la réception mais personne ne répondait (en terme de sécurité cela n'est pas top). Au bout de plusieurs appels, quelqu'un m'a répondu. Mais personne n'est jamais venu. J'ai laissé couler tout ela nuit. Résultat du séjour : C'est un très bel hôtel mais ce n'est pas un 5*!

The only truly positive part of the experience was breakfast by the ocean. The breakfast restaurant was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the setting was lovely. This is honestly the only reason I am giving this hotel 2 stars instead of 1.

I booked Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay through Booking.com one day before arrival, planning to celebrate my birthday there on April 13th with my husband. Given the reputation of the Banyan Tree brand, the high room rates, and the promise of luxury hospitality, I expected a memorable and seamless experience. Unfortunately, this became one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have ever had. After making the reservation on April 12th, I received a WhatsApp message asking whether I needed any additional services. However, I never received any proper booking confirmation through Booking.com — neither an automated confirmation nor any personal communication from the hotel staff. During the following 24 hours, I repeatedly tried to contact the hotel via WhatsApp regarding early check-in, SPA reservations, and other details for my birthday stay. Every response appeared to be automated and completely ignored my actual questions. No one ever properly replied. On April 13th, while driving to the hotel, I called again because I still had no clarity regarding my booking. I explained that I found it unacceptable for a luxury hotel of this level to provide no communication, no confirmation, and no real customer support before arrival. When we finally arrived, the manager apologized verbally, but unfortunately the problems did not end there. The hotel itself felt strangely empty and neglected. The fountains were not working, the atmosphere felt lifeless, and there were barely any guests visible. All pools were extremely cold, including the private villa pool, which is not heated and therefore unusable unless the weather is very hot. The main pool was equally cold, as was the ocean. The welcome experience was far below the standards expected from an internationally known luxury resort. Our villa itself was decent, but several things were broken: the shower holder was damaged and the mirror lighting did not work.

I had a great stay. The all villa accommodation is incredible. Even entry level villas are vast, boasting an entrance hall, sitting room, spacious bedroom, and large, private, exterior courtyard and pool. Decoration is tasteful and luxurious. The grounds are palatial, the resort in general, absolutely immaculate. The setting is quite idyllic, framed by mountains and ocean. Tangier is around 90 minutes drive away, Tetouan around 30 minutes. Staff were polished and friendly, every single person acknowledging you, with a touch to the heart gesture. The hotel has several restaurants, not all of them open during this visit. I ate in Azura, the beachfront restaurant. Food was unmemorable, with the exception of breakfast, which is a superb feast, table served. Service was impeccable.

Had a lovely stay at the Banyan Tree. The staff were very accommodating and kind to everyone and made our stay memorable. House keeping was very friendly and thorough including Naima Ah who was spotless and very kind to us. The architecture in the hotel is unique and reflects Moroccan culture beautifully.

It’s perfectly fine but if you have ever stayed in a banyan tree previously you will be bitterly disappointed. Bad service, bad attitude from the staff and not the perfect finesse you normally receive from a banyan tree. It’s put my husband and I off using a banyan tree again.

10 year anniversary ruined, gave the hotel ample time 5 months advance notice that we were coming. It was the worst anniversary to date. Rooms weren't prepared adequately for the occasion, housekeeping was putting up our dirty towel to be used again. Only good experience was the breakfast

A great experience, starting with our arrival where we were greeted by very welcoming staff, to our departure. The grounds are spectacular. We loved our villa with pool. We ate at all the restaurants and they were all very good. Service was exceptional especially at breakfast supervised by Rashida, the manager. Saffron, the signature Thai restaurant was so good we had dinner there twice. Service was excellent. The hotel arranged a private tour of Tetuoan with a great guide. Banyon Tree Tamouda Bay was a great end to our Moroccan vacation.

A great hotel with friendly and attentive staff, the villa was spotless and spacious and and very comfortable ,we felt very well taken care of by the housekeeper the lovely Latifa, She was very responsive to any requests,Everything was so fresh and clean , and i appreciated the attention to the details i the cleaning ,it really made a difference to our stay .
