River Residence

We liked the spaciousness of the apartment and all the included supplies in the kitchen. It was nice to wake up our first day and have coffee ready to make without having to run to the store first thing. We appreciated the laundry in the apartment, along with the detergent.

Good location, spacious

The apartment did not match the description. There was only one AC unit, the parking was very far, the bathroom light was fixed only on the third day, and the AC was leaking near the bedroom. These issues made our stay unpleasant.

Die Einrichtung war sehr schön und alles sehr gepflegt.

Das Personal vom Restaurant hat nach 23:00 im Gartenrestaurant noch ziemlich laut gesprochen.

Der Check-in war super einfach und das Apartment war gut klimatisiert

I booked this apartment solely because Booking.com advertised it as having air conditioning, even though it was much farther from the city. Apparently, on Booking.com, "air conditioning" means the unit is present—not that it actually works. We were repeatedly told to keep the windows closed so the AC could work. We did, and we were left suffocating in unbearable heat because it never cooled the apartment. Opening the windows for fresh air wasn't a realistic alternative either. The apartment sits above a café, so the noise from loud, often drunk customers went on late into the night, and leaving the windows open also meant dealing with bugs. We were essentially forced to choose between unbearable heat or an impossible night's sleep. The staff's only response was to repeat the same ineffective instructions instead of acknowledging that the AC simply wasn't working or offering a real solution. What's most disappointing is that Booking.com advertises amenities without making any effort to ensure they're actually functional. I accepted a less convenient location because I trusted the listing. If a working air conditioner is the reason someone books a property, simply installing a broken unit shouldn't qualify. I expected better from Booking.com, and that trust was clearly misplaced.

The location was beautiful

There was no clear way to park or to access the property by car. We should have done more research before arriving, but some information up front on where to park and how to get luggage to the unit would have been helpful.

Perfect location, 15 minute walk from the train station but near the forty seven spa which was our main reason for the stay. It was 1 room but in perfect condition with everything you’d need in the kitchen and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also great with hair/body wash and a hair dryer. Check in was super easy.

Il fatto che i gestori non fossero presenti fisicamente. In ogni caso anche se a distanza sono stati sempre gentili e la struttura era perfetta

Aufgrund eines Umbaus haben wir 6 Wochen in der River Residence gewohnt. Die Wohnung (Deluxe Appartment) war sehr gut ausgestattet, wurde einmal pro Woche geputzt und man konnte jederzeit die Kleider in einem Service Room waschen. Das ganze Konzept ist sehr gut durchdacht, was sich in zahlreichen kleinen Details zeigt. Das Restaurant im Parterre (Dory und du) ist super und bringt das Essen auch in die Wohnung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Nur die Wohnungen im 3. und 4. Stock haben Sicht auf den Fluss. Die Klimaanlage ist im Gang, das Schlafzimmer wird nur mässig gekühlt.

Es war auf unserer Velotour durch die Schweiz mit dem Reisealphorn im Gepäck, ein wertvoller Aufenthalt. Mit Strassenmusik in den Gassen haben wir am frühen, lauen Sommerabend vielen eine Freude bereitet.

Location in the old city and beside 47 (thermal baths). Ease of electronic check-in. Upscale facilities. Quiet.

Parking - property is in a pedestrian zone. You have access to unload and load luggage. We risked parking short-term opposite from River Residence but moved to official parking ("Bäder", by 47) overnight for CHF 14.

Badenのリマト川すぐそばの落ち着いたエリア。すぐそばに温泉施設47(Forty Seven)があり、川沿いには誰でも入れる小さなPublic Bathもある。駅まで川沿いを散歩しながら12分ほどで、日帰り鉄道旅の拠点としてもGood。広くて清潔な室内ではキッチンや洗濯機もあり、4人家族で快適に過ごすことができた。周りには素敵なレストランがいくつかあり、Dinnerも楽しめた。

ネットワークIssueでWifiが使えない時間帯があった。

Schöne Unterkunft an super schöner Lage

The apartment was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, the location was convenient, and the laundry room was a useful added bonus. Overall, the apartment itself was attractive and well-presented.

The property was advertised as having a spa, but I discovered before arrival that no spa facilities were available. By that point, the cancellation policy meant I would have lost the full cost of my stay, leaving me with little choice but to continue with the booking. The check-in process was also frustrating. Booking.com stated that access details had been sent by email, but I never received them. Calls to the contact number went unanswered, and I later discovered the information had been sent via WhatsApp instead. Despite calling, I never received a return call. The biggest issue was the noise and lack of sleep. The curtains were extremely thin and did little to block out daylight, while the windows provided very poor sound insulation. From around 6am, deliveries, bins being emptied, and bins being moved across the cobbled streets outside made it impossible to get a restful night’s sleep.

The hotel building is nicely designed and located ta the river bank; 10min walk from centre; Rooms are a bit basic and small but overall meet your needs.

There was an issue with the keylock system and we could not enter the hotel after being out for dinner. The host did not repsond on time - very cinfusing!

The apartment is spacious and the location by the river is great.

Meine Besucher haben die Unterkunft sehr gelobt. Die Ausstattung sei hervorragend und die Lage am Fluss ist sehr schön.

sehr ruhige Lage an der Limmat, nahe des Thermalbads Fortyseven und fussläufig zur Altstadt. Komplett, geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtetes Studio.

Auf dem Beschrieb auf Booking waren Parkmöglichkeiten inkl. Ladestation angegeben, was für uns als e-Auto-Besitzer relevant ist. Die Unterkunft verfügt aber über kein eigenes Parking. Die Parkhäuser Casino oder Bäder sind sehr teuer (40.- bis 50.-/Tag)

Alles sehr schön und sauber. Scheint relativ neu renoviert zu sein. Gute und ruhige Lage im Bäderquartier.

Eine winzige Kleinigkeit: das Bettspanntuch ist innen Hygiene-plastifiziert, wie es sonst nur in einem Spital üblich ist, und deshalb schwitzt man in der Nacht.

Gut organisierter Zugang mit Code, unkomplizierte Kommunikation, Hilfsbereit unterstützend. Ein reibungsloser organisatorischer Ablauf.

Im ersten Stock hatte ich am Morgen 06.00 Uhr ein Gefühl, mih dem Fenster als wäre ich direkt auf der Strasse, am Samstag, irgendwelche Aktivitäten schreckten mich aus dem Schlaf..nur 5 min. ...Abfallentsorgung?

Das Sofa ist eher zu klein für zwei Personen, um darauf gemütlich miteinander Zeit zu verbringen. Es fehlt insbesondere eine Fussablage…

The Location is perfect, you can simply walk everywhere. The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed.

Communication is non existent, do not hope for an answer to any of your questions. Also there is no parking.

L'hôtel est très bien situé au bord de la Limmat, tout près des bains et du centre ville. La chamre était spacieuse avec un joli balcon qui donne sur la rivière.

Wir bekamen ein Upgrade für das Sunflower Appartement. Die Unterkunft ist mit allen Schikanen ausgerüstet: komplett eingerichtete Küche, Esstisch, Sofa, Waschmaschine und Trockner, extra Schlafzimmer für die Teenager und vor allem sehr viel Stauraum, Haken und Kleiderstangen. Grossartige Leselampen bei den Betten! Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem grosszügigen Appartement sehr genossen. Auch die Lage ist top: 2 Minuten zum Thermalbad, 8 Minuten zum Bahnhof und Blick auf die Limmat

Sehr exklusiv eingerichtetes, schönes Appartement, mit allem, was man für einen angenehmen, entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Die Sauberkeit war top & die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten, wie die Wasserflasche im KS, den Schirm, die Kaffee-Kapseln… haben alles abgerundet! Vielen Dank, wir würden diese Unterkunft wieder buchen!

Nous avons trouvé l'appartement extrêmement confortable, agréable et très bien situé : en surplomb de la rivière, avec un petit balcon équipé pour prendre le petit-déjeuner au soleil. C'est une des meilleures expériences d'hébergement que nous avons eues au cours de nos déplacements !

This accommodation is so nice. Great location close to everything but still so quiet. The owners are great at communication and getting in is easy. The apartment is great - absolutely everything you need and comfortable and clean. Just book it - it is awesome!!

I had a wonderful stay at River Residence! Samuel was very communicative and ensured that check-in and check-out were seamless. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the shared spaces and equipment (washer, dryer) were impeccable. River Residence is also very conveniently located near a variety of wonderful eateries!

Inchecken was heel eenvoudig met een vooruit gezonden code. Er is verder geen ontvangst maar was in principe ook niet nodig. kamer is ruim en schoon incl. keuken blok. Om de hoek gegeten bij een indisch restaurant; was helemaal goed.

Ik had me vergist. Het is echt een appartement (staat waarschijnlijk ook zo op de site) maar had er geen erg in. Inchecken was heel eenvoudig met een vooruit gezonden code. Er is verder geen ontvangst. Er is dus ook geen restaurant of ontbijt.
